Volume Two (Dragonlance Chronicles Book 2)

A great trip down childhood nostalgic reading. Sadly, as an adult, the characters fall flat and are very juvenile and poorly built out. The dynamics don't hold up.
However, it's a fun world and easy to get lost in the war and dragons.

If the first Dragonlance book was levels 1 through 5, this is 6 through 15.

The writing is better, the scale is larger, and the stakes are higher.

I just wish I could've read more about those walrus-men.

Love how the chronicles are always action packed and fun to read the whole way through, read this amazing series a few times now and every time I enjoy it so much I find myself struggling to put the book doe . Highly recommend the dragon lance chronicle series to anyone and everyone.

This graphic novel is beautifully done. The artists paint in pictures what Weis and Hickman did with words all those years ago. Devil's Due deserves a lot of credit for getting quality artists who have stayed true to the story of Dragonlance. I'm really getting stoked for the first movie, out in September.

Salvatore is great, Tolkein is great, but Weiss and Hickman have no equals.
For those of you who have considered purchasing these books, don't hesitate. Buy them, read them. You'll thank yourself later.
