I thought this book had some interesting perspectives although I have a problem with the author calling Mormons satanic. The practicing Mormons that I know are some of the most loving, kind, and Christlike people I have ever met. (Read Matthew 7:16 “You shall know them by their fruits.”) If you go to one of their services, you will find that everything that is taught there leads a person to Jesus Christ. I feel there are some truths mixed in with inaccuracies in this book. Other than that, I find the author’s point of view interesting and think he is genuine in trying to wake people up to the enemy.

This book has changed our way of thinking we have a new perspective on life it open our eyes to many things that we had no idea we’re going on we didn’t realize how much Jesus loved us and how strong our faith actually become until we found this information. We shared the book with my father who was struggling with alcohol addiction it helped him through some of the hardest times he’s been going through sometimes everybody needs some extra information to make things more clear.

My only challenge is the various bible versions. Very confusing.
1 Corinthians 14:33 King James Version (KJV)
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

First the overall positive; I found his story on how he became a Christian very interesting. It’s a great lesson on how Yah can save anyone from their sins. As for the book itself, I am fairly well versed at spiritual warfare and was somewhat disappointed in several things. Some of the wording in the prayers is leans toward wording that cannot be found in scripture. It’s fairly obvious he is a young, but inspired Christian. It’s like he wrote those prayers from more emotion than using scripture. It’s also fairly clear he is into more of a Charismatic belief by the things he is saying. I kept waiting for him to get into some deep things but he never quite got there. I think I underlined about 5 things I found deeply enlightening. While the writer has some very good first-hand knowledge, I would have a hard time recommending the book to others. I think they would be better suited watching video of his life and then seeking spiritual warfare information from a more mature Christian who has been in the field for a while. The writer may need a better person to write books with him to bring out a more concentrated study of the good information he has been exposed to.

Thank you John Ramirez for teaching the church that we are not meant to sit in pews every week and be spectators. We are fighting a spiritual battle and God wants us to be His warriors for righteousness here in earth to fight against the dark forces (devil) who are/is destroying humanity! Thank you for making it crystal clear that satan is a real entity, not a figment if the imagination (exactly what satan wants people to think).
My prayer is for God to continue blessing and using you and your testimony to keep awakening the church. I Pray also that God will continue the same for me. Dios te bendiga siempre???

This book is very dangerous and not of the Bible. We should never pray to Satan I question this author and he is playing a very dangerous game in Mia leading many. Stay away from praying any of these prayers is this book ?

Full disclosure: I am one of those people who believe in a spiritual realm we cannot see, including the existence not only of angels but demons as well. Why, you may ask? First of all, because I believe God's word that shows us that Jesus himself not only believed in them but showed his power over demons on a regular basis. But also because I have had my own experiences with spiritual forces where God has shown his power over the demonic realm.
So, it was with great interest that I picked up John Ramirez's book, "Armed and Dangerous", and I was certainly not disappointed! Ramirez writes from a place of first hand knowledge that I greatly appreciated, because he not only served demonic forces as a youth, but most importantly because he is now a man of God filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome the realms of darkness. His background certainly makes him believable and skeptics will find it hard to argue with his own experiences. His book is well organized and easy to read, and is truly filled with practical information on how to be equipped in battling the enemy. The book is chock full of scripture, standing on God's promises, which is so very important to ensure that believers are not coming up with their own version of what is real and what is not. I especially love the sections where Ramirez includes prayer points. Those who may feel uncertain in their prayer life and don't know how to use scripture to pray truth into their situation will absolutely benefit from the excellent guidance Ramirez provides. The author is a gifted communicator, and he writes effectively with a solid understanding of not only our secular culture and society, but also of the way believers are struggling to even acknowledge that demons exist.
Whether you aren't even sure what you believe about spiritual warfare, or whether you are ready to gain practical insight into how to battle the evil one, "Armed and Dangerous" is just what you've been looking for. I award this book a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

It is true that christians have been neglectful in the areas of prayer, fasting (especially), sincere, committed repentance, and have crowded churches that never address spiritual warfare (because, likely, their pastors were not trained in this area, by design). Read and study Ezikiel, Acts, Ephesians, 1 John, 1 Peter, while fasting and praying for The Holy Spirit to help you understand while reading/studying. Exercise GREAT CAUTION and evaluate the motives of anyone who claims to be saved from the enemy's camp - could be "double agents", operating in secret harmful agendas. Stay close to the Word, pray for the repentance and salvation of double agents.

Armed and Dangerous: The Ultimate Battle Plan for Targeting and Defeating the Enemy by John Ramirez is a book about arming yourself with Jesus Christ in a world with evil. I liked the symbolism and imagery incorporated into the book as Ramirez discussed spiritual warfare. My favorite chapter was “Beginnings: Good and Evil,” which talked about the birth of spiritual warfare and listed different types of evil behavior. I also enjoyed the section that included letters that people sent to Ramirez after hearing him speak. Armed and Dangerous was an interesting read.
