The Empty Chair (Lincoln Rhyme)

If you like the unexpected and shocking twists this is the book to read! As soon as I thought I knew what was going on there would be an explosion of a twist which threw me for a loop. Couldn't put the book down, as usual Jeffery Deaver delivers with the awesome combination of Lincoln & Sachs!

Lincoln Rhyme's thoughts and deductions during his brain storming are excellent. For a man who has become dependent upon others for all his needs he has the ability to put clues together and come up with the right solution.

So far this has been my favourite Jeffery Deaver 'Lincoln Rhyme' series book. The twists and turns are fascinating and right to the very end, one is kept in suspense. Cannot remember a more enjoyable read for a very long time, although I do enjoy most of Deaver's work. the store alerts me since they know the type of 'read' I prefer, and by doing so, I am able to preview a portion of the book before I buy it.

Hope Deaver does another one as good as this and very soon.

This book kept me quessing all the way through. There were twists and turns throughout the whole book. Even when they gave you an answer to the mystery there was still always more coming. Great read!

Loved this book. Had read Jeffrey Deaver books before, but years back and had forgotten how good they were. Plot is fast moving with lots of twists and turns. Ending is a total surprise. If you like a book with an unpredictable plot, this book is for you.

This book is full of surprises. The author masterfully keeps you off balance. With the exception of Lincoln Rhymes' merry band, many of the supporting characters are just not who they seem to be. Just when you think you've got the lay of the land, a tremor comes along to alter the landscape. On more than one occasion you'll think to yourself, "I didn't see that coming!" A very satisfactory read with a plausible ending.

Deaver is one of the best mystery writers of today. This book has several subplots which one knows to expect from Deaver and many twists & turns at denoue'ment and conclusion. An interesting, satisfying story.

This is a thrilling "lose yourself in a mystery" book. I love the characters and like a well rounded cast they complement one another. I hope Jeffery Deaver never stops writing about Lincoln Rhyme and Co.

Always enjoy Lincoln RYmes novels. He has the best way to solve murders with his mind only. Jeffrey Deaver has kept me up at night so many times with this character and the twist and turns in the plots are spectacular.

I read a lot of mystery/suspense novels. Normally by the time I hav read three or four books by the same author I cn figure out what is going to happen,Deavers seems to aleways fool me with yet another twist to the story. This story held me is suspense till the end. Great book

The Empty Chair is a spell binding story that grabs you right away and never lets go. It is full of twists and turns that keep you turning the pages to see what is next. This is the first Jeffery Deaver book I've read but it won't be the last.
