Jeffery Deaver, my second favorite fiction writer has outdone himself. Putting you in the mind of both the cop and the perp. Very suspenseful. I was on the edge of my seat throughout. Way to go Jeffery, another great book. I can't wait for the next.

I enjoy Deaver, really do, Steel Kiss no exception but I must say this one seemed to end several times before ending. A bit too long Each time I sensed the end near I was surprised to see the percent on my kindle showing still more to go. Nonetheless, good read with the usual laws tidbits and grammatical musing.

No surprise -- another Deaver page turner! But this one is kinda creepy in a technology kind of way...... If you're a Lincoln Rhyme fan -- or even if you aren't -- this is one to put on your must read list!

Well I have read almost every book Jeffery Deaver has written and loved each one of them. The Steel Kiss is my favorite to date. Interesting, surprising twists, wonderful characters, humor, and full of meaningful observations about life. He's the best!

As far as I am concerned everything Deaver writes keeps me glued to the book until the last chapter. I do not believe I should give a synopsis of the book. Read it yourself and form your own opinion. Not everyone likes the same thing

Another excellent description of criminal minds, activities and complicated procedure catching criminals. There is a small thread of personal thoughts and activities as well as introducing a be character fir the future.

Anything by Jeffery Deaver is worth pick up and reading. I know, not a good review of the book but hey, buy it yourself and find out just how talented this author truly is. (bad English format, sue me).

Deaver consistently delivers deep character development and intriguing plots with each Lincoln Rhyme installment. I've read very nearly every offering in the series and A Steel Kiss is Deaver still at the top of his game. It was one of my top five favorites.

The crime route moves along with subplots galore spicing the reading and surprising the reader with, "What! WTF (to reference Ms. Fey most recent film title)! Uhhhhhhhhhh? Really?". Who da thunk? Enjoy.

Our beloved Rhyme and Sachs are back, playful, tense, creative and brilliant. From the first page Deaver draws you in with a plot full of twists and turns...old lover, new protégée, the rookie in a mess?! Great read, great fun!

I was hooked from beginning to end. There were multiple plots, which can sometimes be confusing, but they were all so relevant and interesting, it was a guess fest. Highly recommended. Well worth the read. Not one disappointing page. Truly a thriller and whodunit of note.

Not as suspenseful as other books in the Lincoln Rhyme series. The numerous plot lines wrap up hastily and too neatly in the end, almost as if Deaver lost interest and just wanted to be done with the book.

not one of his better efforts. Usually Deaver drops a bomb that you never saw coming near the end and actually fools me into believing the criminal is a different character than it turns out to be. Not this time. If you have never read a Lincoln Rhyme novel dont start here.

The book holds your interest throughout; the regular characters deliver as usual and the new ones are well developed. The subplots blend in well and do not detract from the main storyline. Some good twists as we have come to expect from Mr. Deaver.

Excellent plot with a lot of Deaver twists and curves. It was amazing how the author brought the seemingly unrelated events into one major investigation with some really bizarre motives and outcomes .

Loved this book as is usual for a Jeffery Deaver / Lincoln Rhyme novel. But I must say the addition of a student iintern was not entirely likable to me - really a stretch of the imagination. And some of the explanations of the circuits and high-end hacking left me numb. All-in-all, a very enjoyable read. Kept me up late into the night, although not my favorite Lincoln Rhyme escapade.
