Daddy Hugs (Classic Board Books)

My daughter got this book "for Daddy" on Father's Day. She loves the pictures and, I believe, the constant mention of "daddy." At 18 months old, she is starting to pay attention to the numbers as well as the pictures and story.

Purchased, Daddy Hugs (Classic Board Books), for my son's first baby so he could read it to her and bond with my granddaughter. Looks like a cute little book, came on delivery date and as described. Recommend for all daddys/Fathers.

I am not very sappy, but watching my husband read this to our daughter makes my eyes water every time. And on the evenings when he works late, this is always the book she reaches for and wants me to read to her. I highly recommend it. Super sweet and adorable art.

A counting book that uses a very sweet premise, Daddy Hugs is a good buy for someone looking to build a collection for little ones. I probably wouldn't order it for any children over 2, but it will definitely be a great one for dads.

I bought this book, because it features a father playing with his child. That is a nice change of pace. However, the rhythm of the book is kind of weird. We change up the words and syllables to make it work.

Our little boy "bought" this book for his daddy's first father's day, and daddy loved it! It's great especially for dads who practice attachment parenting because it portrays daddy differently than a lot of books. This isn't one that talks about fishing or playing sports, but a daddy who nurtures his little one, they even co-sleep! I highly recommend this book as either a shower gift for daddy, or for a first Father's Day present.

I bought this book along with "Counting Kisses" by the same author. This book tells all the fun ways that baby can get hugs from Daddy. The illustrations are very simple and colorful; the pages are sturdy 'boards.'

This is a very nice 1st book for a small child! :)
