Mrs. Banks managed to portray pregnancy and surrogacy beautifully in this captivating read.

The relationships between the characters feel real and relatable. The story takes us on an emotional roller coaster ride, and when you feel like hope is gone, you find out that miracles do happen, that you are not alone and this is not the end of the world.

I highly recommend this read! So different from what I have read so far.

Rue ran away from Whiskey Hallow and never planned to return. She is now planning to return to save her family home. Richard wants a child. His girlfriend couldn't conceive or carry a child so they chose surrogacy. After a process of elimanation, Rue was the chosen surrogate. Rue thought she had it made, until she started having feelings for Richard. Richard was having feelings for Rue as well, but didn't act on them because of his girlfriend. How long before Rue gets pregnant? Can Richard's girlfriend really not conceive nor carry a child? What happens between Rue and Richard?

Whew this book takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and feelings. We are back in Whiskey Hollow and this book is so sweet and sexy. It tells the story of heartbreak, lies and love. Rue and Richard have intense chemistry but they are resisting due to their circumstances or trying to. He and his girlfriend want Rue to do something very special for them. No spoilers. Does she? Will it work out to everyone getting a HEA? One click to find out. Highly recommend this one. I am volintarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy of the book.

VOLUNTARY ARC REVIEW- This was a great book. I wanted to hug Rue for realizing what was important to her after pursuing her dreams in the big city. I wanted to punch Flora for only caring about herself. Poor Richard, I just felt sorry for him because he had to learn how to show affection with something other than money. Although unconventionally, everyone got the perfect HEA.

Richard and his girlfriend want to have a baby and find out that she is unable to carry a child so have decided to hire a surrogate to carry the baby for them. Rue comes to the office thinking she is going to a dentist appointment and it is actually for an interview for the surrogate and she needs the money to get her grandmothers house out of foreclosure. They eventually decide to go with Rue as the surrogate but there us a whole bunch if other drama that ensues before we get our deserved HEA. I read this book as an ARC and this is my honest review

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Richard and his girlfriend Flora are interviewing potential surrogates to carry their baby since Flora can't become pregnant. Rue interviews to be such a surrogate. Right off the bat, Richard is intrigued by Rue and you know that Flora can sense this. Things get complicated when Flora finds out that her eggs aren't viable so they have to settle for the surrogacy using Rue's eggs with Richard's sperm. This is a great read, with amazing main characters and funny, quirky side characters. Would recommend

Rue and Richard's unconventional relationship started out on one level and developed into something neither one expected. I love the unexpected joys. This is an emotional and gripping story that captured my heart and mind from start to finish, and I hated to see it end. Rue's letters to the baby were poignant and grabbed at my heart strings-loved them!! The villain you love to hate was so wonderfully crafted and apropos in the creation of Flora's character. Kudos Mr. Banks- another masterpiece I highly enjoyed and recommend .

This book holds the key every to emotion you hold within. Every time I read a book from this author I lose myself in the story and nothing else around me matters, this book it just as potent! A chance encounter made her decide to become a contract surrogate. Richard wanted a baby so bad that even if his girlfriend cannot conceive, he wants it to happen. He picked Rue to carry his baby. Oh my goodness, what a wonderful book full of love, romance, pain, anger and sprinkles of humor!!! I laughed out loud when I read the passages that had the humor. I smiled a lot, sighed a lot and was sad from time to time reading this book. I loved the fact that Rue was true to herself and never forgot how she grew up. She never forgot her grammyma or dad. She met Richard and Flora when she accidentally showed up for an interview (instead of a dental appointment I told you LOL) to be a contract surrogate. Richard had a good heart even though he had a lot to learn about really living life. Flora was the ice queen, whining and just plain miserable. Anyway it is an excellent read and I loved it.

Once again, we are in Whiskey Hollow and, once again, R.R. Banks has blown us away. this book was so sweet and sexy, with heartbreak and lies. I thoroughly enjoyed this story with great characters, romance and intrigue. Rue needed money to save her grandmother's home and decided to be a surrogate. The daddy to be was excited, but his fiance wasn't. Rue and the future daddy were attracted to each other. He finally found out that his fiance had lied to him and he broke up with her. He and Rue finally got their HEA. The ending was great. I enjoy all the books from this author and can't wait for her next one.

Richard and Rue's story will have you captivated.

An Arc review but I would definitely buy this book. Another amazing group of characters that meshed well with just the right amount of humor and intensity to keep this story flowing from the beginning all the to the end.
I won't give spoilers yet there are surprises you don't see coming. But when they happen the reader is over the moon with happiness for the main characters. A true love florashes and a family is founded. Such an awesome read.

Rue what a funny character somehow she accidentally turns up at a surrogacy office then somehow manages to agree to become a surrogate for Richard and Flora. From here on in your just going to have to read the book because when your not laughing your crying, this book is a roller coaster of emotions and I can definitely say this book is one click worthy. I did receive this book as an arc read and I’m writing this review voluntarily.

This was an interesting story line, it made it stand out from the beginning till the end. Once he thought he had his life figured out, having a baby contract with a girl and his own girl that would raise this baby. NAILED it!!!!! This story line has been done before but this author took it to another level! I loved this book! I enjoyed the well developed characters and steamy sex scenes but most of all I enjoyed the interactions between Rue and Richard. I believed their evolved love affair. This is my second book I have read from this author and won't be my last !

I absolutely adored Rue and Richard's story. Their journey may have started off rather unconventionally but what sweet ending it had, it just goes to prove "perfect" isn't always perfect. AMAZING!! I loved this story. Rue and Richard are great main characters. They were attracted to each other right off, but due to their "contract" could not tell each other. Lots of ups and downs, but they overcome, wait you need to get the book and read it! I love books that are a combination of love, laughter, crying, sexy, and personal growth for all involved. I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Remy and Richard was a greatly written book by R. R. Banks. It has steamy sences, betrayal, thrill, lust, suspense, emotional trumps, love, family losses, spoiled rich people, no abuse, no cheating, some secrets and a HEA ending. I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed the story that R.R. Banks describes in this book. I DIDN'T want it to end. It is so well written that you felt like you were standing right there while it was going on. Rue is in a pickle. She has had to suffer the loss of her dad recently and found out that she may loose her family home that she was raised in. When she goes to the dentist for a cleaning, she ends up in the wrong location and is in fact interviewing to become a surrogate for a family wanting a child (or so she thinks). While she is being interviewed by Ellery, Richard is watching intently and trying to decide if she will be the one to carry his and Flora's baby. Richard is a well to do and is at a point in his life where he has time to have a child, unfortunately is girlfriend, Flora isn't able to conceive. They decide to have a contract baby. They are interviewing several women for the position when Rue walks in. She is a breath of fresh air, being in her comfortable clothes but there is something about her that is different and draws Richard's attention. After going through several rounds of interviews Rue meets Richard and Flora. Flora is anything but kind to Rue, but Richard seems to generally like her. The day of the doctor's appointment, Flora announces to everyone that her eggs are not viable to use, (thinking that this will put Richard off the need to go through with the Contract Baby), Rue volunteers to let them use her egg for the baby. Rue moves to her family home that she is trying to save. Richard offers to move her things for her. He shows up on Thanksgiving and has dinner with Rue, she said she feels like she is pregnant but until the next week they won't know for sure. There are a few heated moments between the two of them, before Richard so graciously insults her friends in Whiskey Hollow. At the appointment Rue is nervous and doesn't really talk. When the doctor announces that she is pregnant, Richard gives her a hug, confusing both of them more. A few days later while helping her friend Tessie and Christopher, she gets dizzy and passes out, they call the ambulance, but she refuses to go to just any hospital. They get her back in the house and she gets sick again, this time she is spotting blood. They call Richard and they take her to the clinic that he has built just for her and the baby. While checking on the baby via ultrasound, he takes her hand in his for reassurance. There is a feeling of intimacy that blooms, but both hide it. After getting some IV, Rue is taken back to Richard's house to rest. Flora is not happy about this. Slowly they reveal things to the other about their past. Richard has her house decorated for Christmas for her. Valentines Day is the big reveal, Richard is a little shocked that Flora doesn't want to go with him to spread their good news. He decides to stop and tell Flora's gynecologist that they are expecting and the doctor asks if Flora is feeling well from the morning sickness, Richard is little shocked at this and when the doctor explains Flora is totally able to have a baby, all heck hits the fan. Richard and Flora fight. Flora reveals she doesn't want to have a baby and figured he would drop it if she said she couldn't have one. They slip and he goes to Rue and they have a few passionate months. Things come to a head about right before the baby is due when a failed attempt of a date, due to Rue seeing Richard and Flora having a moment before their date causes a huge blowup in the restaurant. She leaves, he is devastated. How will they fix it? What will become of the little family that Richard so desperately wants?

I loved this book. There were twists and turns that kept me turning the page to see what happened next. Rue and Richard had an interesting start. Flora was a brat from the beginning. I love that this takes place in Whiskey Hollow like Accidental Daddy! I would love to read a story where all these rich daddy's hang out at the bar in whiskey hollow! I love Rue's innocence and how much she wants to help this couple out but she can't help herself from fantasizing about Richard. I couldn't stand Flora from the very beginning even though I am glad she came clean to Richard about her lies and deceit so Richard and Rue can have their happily ever after!

I really enjoyed this book – quite a page turner, engaging and will keep you reading until the end. I loved Rue and Richard's story...Rue thinking she is going to the dentist actually ends up signing a contract to have Richard and Flora's baby...Flora is a spoiled rotten whiner that doesn't want the baby or Richard....Rue is strong and knows what she wants...Richard realizes Rue is just who he needs in his life...enjoyed their rollercoaster ride and you will too!
