The book is out standing clear and to the point. However, if you don't look up all the scripture references, it won't make much sense to you, and it will be hard to understand. The scripture references makes the book come alive and become exciting when you see the crimson thread of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ weave its way thru the Bible from Genesis 1:1 thru Revelation 22:21.

LARGE book that seems to have everything. One book that covers just about all the stuff in the Bible. A good book to do a whole Bible study, a great book for a text book.
Study the Bible from cover to cover, in 2 ways, Bible History and Bible teaching by subject... PLUS numerous lists, charts and extras.

Fantastic. We own the original and have learned so much from it. We used it conjunction with Willmington's Liberty Home Bible Course many years ago. Dr. Willmington is simply an amazing teacher. It is a pleasure to own this updated volume which only improved on an already excellent resource, one worth consulting again and again or simply reading to not only gain biblical knowledge and understanding but to provide a ready teacher to facilitate letting God's Word transform your life.

This is a must have book for everyone interested in deeper but concise bible study. I referred 2 pastor friends and they all bought it. Though i may not agree with some of the writers theological position, i am sold on the quality of it's contents and structure. This is a must have book. No doubt. Great book for the price.

I have found it extremely helpful espically in the Faith Bible Institute Class that I have been taking. I have found very few differences in opinion between Dr. Willmington and myself. It does do a wonderful job in explaining the scriptures. Dr. Willmington's views are helpful, but remember that when it comes to scripture to derive your own conclusions.

I am a Born Again Fundamentalist Pastor and have many books in my library, but Willmington's Guide to the Bible is my most referenced
book. I bought the 30th Anniversary Edition because the previous edition had so much use that the binding was coming apart. I highly
recommend it to everyone interested in knowing the Bible. Plus, it is very easy reading gets right to the point and is not wordy like many
commentaries.

My first Willmington's Guide to the Bible was purchased in 1983, and I saw where I could get the 30th Anniversary edition. Dr. Willminton is an amazing Biblical scholar. I recommend this guide for anyone wanting to learn, teach, and grow in true theology.

The guide to the Bible book is an excellent overview of the Bible and has great stats listed about many items and topics in the Bible. It is a good College text book and Dr. Willmington is straight on repentance for lost people and defines it well.

Excellent! The only drawback is Brother Wilmington has (reluctantly, it seems) bought into the erroneous Calvinist take on predestination. He's wrong, but certainly helps us understand many things in the scripture.

This a deeply informative book and greatly helps to understand biblical concepts, and should be used alongside with KJV Bible Study. I would also include that although this is a fantastic resource, it should not replace regular Bible reading.

Wilmington's Guide to the Bible is a comprehensive study of the Bible. It goes through the Bible two different ways - chronological and theological. A long book but full to the brim of material that can help you understand the Bible.
