I loved how Autumn and Jude got together. How Jude didn't recognize Autumn at first. This story is so romantic and has its funny moments, you won't want to put it down. Evelyn Adams is a great writer, you will want to read all of her books.

This is a beautifully written modern day romance. The story of Jude and Autumn is sweet and sexy. Jude battles his feelings toward Autumn which goes against his no commitment philosophy, while Autumn learns to overcome family history, current tragedy and small town gossip so she can have her happily ever after.

I found this book just like other readers because it was a free book. I enjoyed the chemistry between Jude and Autumn but also loved the glimpses into the lives of their friends and family all facing different challenges. I not only couldn't put it down, but also has to buy the other books in the series to find out what happens next. I was so happy to find this author.

This was a pretty decent little romance book. A little quirky at times, but that's how i like them. Author did a good job of character development and kept my attention throughout the whole story. I would not hesitate to read more of her writing

Autumn returns after a scandal and her grandmother passes away. Jude is the town doctor and one of the founding families. It's your typical "she doesn't think she's good enough for him" story. A McHottie doctor, a beautiful accountant and nosey townspeople.

This book was better than I had originally thought it would be. Because of the author's writing style, the whole story seemed to flow effortlessly. I liked the whole dynamic's of the flawed family vs. the picture perfect family Jude was a total gem, and I loved him right from the very start. Andrew on the other hand and the way he acted....made me want to smack him upside the head more than a few times. He was so arrogant , and if he doesn't change his ways, he's going to end up one lonely man. When he made that comment about only wanting to date her to get into her pants....that burned my a**!!! When he made those comments about Autumn being was good enough to take to his bed, but not good enough to live up to his standards for anything else? I had to SMH. I was a little disappointed that the author never expanded on whether or not Andrew and Jude parted ways, because of the way he continually talked down to Autumn. And when he wasn't doing that, he was bad mouthing her to anyone willing to listen.
I liked the way that Jude had accepted Autumn, and he was so patient while earning her heart and her trust. And I thought Autumn was pretty well put together, especially after all the things that happened to her in the past. The rest of her family was a bit to stingy though, ecept for Summer and sweet little Abbey. I felt so bad for these two, and I was so glad that she finally got up enough courage to walk away from a bad situation, before it was too late.
I was also a little disappointed with the epilogue. I wanted it to be more about Jude and Autumn, but the author basically skimmed completely over them and started a teaser for the next book, instead.

I really liked this book. My only problem was the ending. I feel like everything was summed up in the very last chapter very hasty. Also would have loved a better epilogue instead of going in to the next story.

Evelyn Adams “Feels Like Home” was the first book that I have read from this author and was free for the Nook.
Autumn Maddox returned to her small southern town of Bedford for her Grandmother Marion’s funeral. Gran left her the home that she came to live in with her sister Summer when her mother could not take care of them after her older and youngest brother died in a car crash. Now her other siblings were taking items from Gran’s home after the funeral. Coming home was hard for Autumn because she always wanted to make her grandmother proud especially with the town that keeps reminding the Smith and Maddox children that they come from the wrong side of the tracks.
Jude Southerland, town’s eligible bachelor and doctor, that the Ladies Auxiliary marry him off to one other their own debutante daughters.
Jude could not help but notice Autumn at the funeral. Since then a near miss with his car, chance meetings and his nurse hiring her, he cannot help the growing desire to claim her as his own.
Autumn cannot see her with Jude because the Southerland family are founding family and well respected in the community. She does not have the proper pedigree to be wife to one of the Southland men.
I loved how this author brings you into the story with her compassionate which you can see when reading about Autumn, Summer and Abby. Heat and passion between Jude and Autumn and keeps you wanting to see if they will get the HEA ending.
This reader is looking forward to reading about the other Southerland siblings and hopefully Summer to see if their books are as passionate and not able to put down as this one.
