I thought the story kept my interest however I lost my respect for the author when he did the protocols of ZION with regards to the Mormon religion. I felt that it had to be a supremely prejudiced attitude on his part or just ignorance, and if it was the latter he must be a terribly misinformed researcher.

I liked the plot and characters were interesting too; the only thing I dislked was that the book is an actual continuation of previous one... I rather have a full story in one book instead spread in two...

Excellent book. It is hard to review objectively, because l have read every book in the series . l did notice that the characters were not fleshed out with any depth. I was disappointed by lack of human touch.
It was still a good read. John Wells is superhuman, larger than life operative who is addicted to danger.
The Ghost War (John Wells Series Book 2) :: The Counterfeit Agent (John Wells Series Book 8) :: The Shadow Patrol (John Wells Series Book 6) :: Book 7 of the Expanse (now a major TV series on Netflix) :: The Island of Dr. Moreau (Signet Classics)

Fast read, excellent story telling. For the Alex Berenson faithful there are no disappointments in this long awaited continuation of the John Well's saga. This story is current a d frightfully believable. Looking forward to the next work.
