This novel just swept me away into this medieval era. The author's method of introducing the characters was fun and her heroine Beth is terrific. The hero, Duncan, fits his era yet has enough love and consideration for Beth that he endears himself to the reader's heart. I've seen the negative comments - they did not impede my enjoyment in the least. The quality of the writing, plot and character development are grand and if you're like me you'll find yourself chuckling, tense with anticipation and then shedding a happy tear at the ending. Right now -- if I saw the author, I'd give her a big hug of thanks for being transported along with her characters.

I absolutely loved this rollicking romp into time travel and the ever wonderful Scotland. Sandy Blair is an awsome story teller and she kept me right up to the very end. I didn't want it to end. I pictured the Laird as a big beautiful Richard Armitage type (I know he's not Scottish but what the hell It worked for me).

This was a good read. Interesting and absorbing. Good character development and plotting. The heroine's crying was a bit overdone and editing for typos should be repeated, but this did not distract too much.
