Really enjoy reading Karen White’s books. This one certainly didn’t leave me disappointed. Love the southern settings, the relatable characters, and the suspense. Always looking forward to the next one.

I know Karen personally and her books are so great. I really enjoyed this CD version. The voice over actors did such a great job. I live near where she based this story out of, and I got a kick out of hearing about places I have been.

Usually a huge fan of Karen White; however, this novel left me wondering when the action would begin! After completing Flight Patterns and The Forgotten Room I craved more! This novel lacked, at least for me, depth of characters, a creative plot, intrigue, and the qualities of her writing that have kept me captive for years. Sorry-I was disappointed, but will anxiously wait for her next novel with anticipation. Perhaps providing us with a new adventure from the Tradd Street series will lift my spirits-pun intended.

Karen White just keeps getting better with each novel she writes! Wonderful story about a single mother with 2 children starting life over in Sweet Apple , burb of Atlanta renting a small cottage from town matriarch Sugar Prescott. A bond of friendship begins sharing their life stories with one another along dealing with "school moms " antics. A book that you won't put down till your done. Enjoy the story, I certainly did!
