A Gangster Love Story (The Midnight Series)

I has been awhile since reading a Sista Soulja book and had heard mixed reviews about the Midnight series. This was a ok read just was a slow read it took quite some time to get interesting. I will read the remaining books because now I'm curious were it will go.

This book was different than the Coldest Winter Ever in the way it was written. For me the story seemed too long and drawn out. I have yet to finish this book as I was not drawn into it.

Brought this book for my daughter she loves the author Sister Souljah and she could not put the book down. This book is a one of a collection my daughter has from this author. When she asked me to buy this book I searched on the the store site and found it right away and I had a chance to review the book myself before buying it. the store makes buying books a pleasure for the right price and delivery speed is excellent..

I wanted to read this because I enjoyed Coldest Winter Ever so much. I was right. Sistah Souljah is an excellent writer!!

Absolutely loved this story. I had the pleasure of reading the Coldest Winter Ever in college. Can't wait to get the sequel to Midnight. The book kept me captivated the whole time. I finished it in a matter of days!!

I think Midnight was a true ganster love story. It goes to show how the character midnight evolved before "The Coldest Winter Ever". I think this is perfect example of dealing with different cultures and nationalties have an affect on relationships in today's society. No one is really true to their religion like Midnight was and how may men out here take care of their mother's the way he did. Midnight had to grow up before his time. I really enjoyed the book and I hope there is a sequel!!!!

after waiting so many years for the sequel, i was disappointed. this was misleading and even on her website. it lead us to believe this was going to be part 2, but nothing. I did like the book, but even this one will be another book. Sista Soulja, i have bought all of your books you came out with, to get this one and it had nothing to do with the other was quit a slap in the face.

The author Sister Souljah is fantastic, she writes as if she's a painter telling you a story, everything was so clear & visible, the rawness and colorful story made me want to read the next book immedietely!
