Okay i understand this is a reverse harem novel but i wish the heroine wasnt so dick craved. Just bone her already so she can save the world! Shes so distracted by penis she cant focus on the task at hand. Truly annoying. She can be strong and not act like a horny teenager all the time. Its such an annoying weakness.

I love this series. This book was a great continuation from the first. The characters are great and you get to know them even better in this book. Looking forward to seeing where the series goes from here.

Loved this follow up to Academy of Assasins. Morgan is a strong female lead who still has vulnerabilities and doubts but continues to push forward and fight for what she believes is right. I can’t wait to see where the next book brings Morgan and her team!
The Whistleblower Onslaught :: Clifford Irving's legal novels - A Legal Thriller :: A Lucy Guardino FBI Thriller Novel (Lucy Guardino FBI Thrillers Book 1) :: A Sean Wyatt Archaeological Thriller (The Lost Chambers Trilogy Book 1) :: A Highlander's Beloved Novel - A Highlander's Obsession

This book was an action-packed read from start to finish. I was riveted from the very start and couldn’t put the book down until I was finished.
In this book we see Morgan and the guys on a quest for a cure to rid the Primordial realm of the plague that has been unleashed on this realm. Throughout this journey Morgan and the guys stumbled upon several challenges. Some challenges came in the form of several vicious adversities and others in the form of possible allies. Above all, it was great to see Morgan and the guys continuously rise above these trials while strengthening their bonds in the process.
I really enjoyed this world that Brutger created; it’s very unique and refreshing to read about the different species and plot twists that she has so marvelously written. Beyond everything, I’m very taken with the multidimensional characters that she has created that somehow seem to weave their way into your heart. Every single one of the guys are amazing, but I’m especially taken with Ryder. His hard and muscular exterior combined with his gentle spirit just melt my heart something fierce.
Overall, an enthralling, action-packed and angsty read. There’s so much that transpired in this book that I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next book in the ‘Academy of Assassins’ series to see where this story will lead to. Above all, I’m most looking forward to learning more about Morgan’s past and the new additions to the group.

In Heart of the Assassins we pick up where Academy leaves off. Morgan is training hard to control her powers. But what the guys don't understand is that she needs them to be her family not her protectors. She is getting frustrated and angry, and it is driving a wedge between them. Guys, being guys, are completely oblivious to what they are doing. When she finally cant take anymore she tells them enough is enough, than the school is attacked. With the not so subtle help of a gargoyle she is transported to the Primordial realm to keep her safe. But there she is not really safe either. For there is a fog that is covering the land and destroying/changing life there. It is up to Morgan and her group to find the answer and stop the fog from destroying everything.
Academy of Assassins hooked me on this series, Heart of the Assassins just cemented to me my addiction. Morgan is a interesting and kick ass female lead who can hold her own. She does not need anyone to protect her, she just wants to be part of the team. I understand her frustration with the guys. They push, shield her and she finally has enough and tells them about it. She knows that they just want to protect her but she has had enough. When she is pushed through to the Primordial realm
both she and the guys take a good look at their relationships. This is a slow burn RH, and that stays the same, but we do move forward some. I will say that I was upset with Atlas but he did redeem himself. Kincade eases up some and becomes exactly what she needs. Ryder, love that he is coming out of his shell some. Ascher, just yum!!!! And then we have Draven, wow he is packing a secret that Morgan will not like, I know I didn't. They are a good team, and we get a chance to see them get closer. That being said there is lots of action, mystery, imagery, new characters and just really good word building. A great second addition to the Assassins series.

This Author is one of my absolute favorites!!! I have reread her Raven Investigations books three times and this series is no different! Morgan has to be one of my all time favorite heroines. Her men are so freaking sexy, loyal,brave....did I mention sexy?!?!! Lol The story is so good I can’t stop reading until the end and then I’m so aggravated with myself for not savoring it more!
