Wow!! What a fantastic contemporary romance set against the backdrop of Diamond Creek, Alaska. I enjoyed the believable characters and the heartwarming story centering around beautiful single mother, Delia Peters, an employee at Last Frontier Lodge, and high-profile lawyer Garrett Hamilton, who is heart-stopping sexy. Their chemistry was so electric, it sizzled off the page! I really didn't want this book to end and can hardly wait for book 3 in this excellent series.

This is the second book in the series about Gage's brother Garrett. Garrett leaves court one day after winning his case and hops on a plane for their family's lodge. He immediately runs into Delia and she sends him for a loop. It takes most of the book for him to come to terms in wanting and needing Delia. After almost losing her, he finally gets his head out of his arse ;) Great book, loved it and looking forward to reading book 3!!

Where do I even start?! This is another amazing book in the Last Frontier Lodge series! This is the story of Delia and Garrett's journey in finding their way to each other. This book as well as the first book in the series pulls you in and you feel like you know the characters personally and feel like you are a part of the community! Once again I had a hard time putting this book down! I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

I thoroughly loved this book . I didnt realize that this was a book in a series until the end. I found it completely fascinating that s huge highly respected lawyer from. Seattle would find love in a highly unlikely place as an Alaskan ski lodgr.

Gorgeous setting, fantastic characters with great chemistry and a lot of steam - I really loved this one. This is the first book I've read by this author and I can't wait to read more. Highly recommend this one - especially for anyone who loves a good single-parent romance.

I liked both Garrett and Delia.

Delia was more grounded, works hard, a good mother , she is content but something is still missing.

That something is passion and romance. She gets all that from Garret.
The connection between them is instant and hot!

I loved that they both went for it! They didn't waste time with the things that really mattered.

Garret was a great character.

He had decisions to make. He was tired of his life in the big city, was disillusioned with his work . For him, coming to this small town in Alaska is a way to find himself.

He found happiness, a home and best of all a family with Delia.

The story, characters, and the narration make this series a treat!

A well written and edited story that captivates your interest from beginning to end. J. H. Croix fleshes out her characters and plots and this second book in the Last Frontier Lodge series is a great example of it. I look forward to reading book 3 of this series. I was given a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review and I can truly say that I thoroughly enjoyed it.

J.H. Croix does another excellent job with this book, she hasn't disappointed me yet. Love at Last has everything you could want in a good read action, adventure, love of family, love, lust a hot male ready for life changes and a single parent who works hard. Very cute story. I really love this series. Its so different from the other series this author writes but its quite the cute love story! Look forward to the next book! Highly recommend checking out this author!

I received this book in exchange for my honest review. Garrett is Gage's brother from the prior book. Delia is one of the kids when they were little grew up at Garretts brothers ski lodge her mom was the cook and now Delia is following in her footsteps. They met in the previous book. Delia has a son who's father is not involved but her son likes to go with Gage and Garrett and help with stuff around the lodge.
Garrett is an attorney in Seattle and is currently moving to Alaska and Garrett is an IDIOT when it comes to women especially feelings. I love the ending of this one
I hope to see more of this series soon I can't wait

Another fantastic hit for Ms. Croix!!! This is a wonderful addition to the series and makes me want to pack up and move to Diamond Creek!!! Garrett and Delia's relationship develops much quicker than many of her other characters', but it seemed to fit them! Delia is a single mom who wants nothing more than to provide a good life and home for her son. Love is not in her vocabulary but it quickly becomes something neither Delia or Garrett want to live without. Great Story and very enjoyable read! I can't wait for the next one!!! Although this book left me with a feeling of frustration , it was not with the story or the writing ( which was excellent ) but with the male lead character . I suppose this is clever writing by the author to get the reader that involved , but by heavens could that guy do with a bit of back bone.
This was a very pleasant and enjoyable romantic novel with enough tension to keep the reader engrossed. Fortunately our "hero"s backbone solidified and his head came free from one of his orifice . A good read overall and recommended for the bookshelf.

I love this series! The setting is phenomenal and makes you want to visit Alaska ASAP. The romance is hot, achingly tender, smoking hot and breathtaking and did I say hot? Delia and Garrett are great characters as are all of the regulars at Last Frontier Lodge. Book a suite at the Lodge and enjoy the scenery and possibly a romance of your own! Can't wait for the next book in this series!
