This Classic work on success is timeless. Though one can tell that it is from the 1950's the message is still and will remain accurate and rewarding. Take the 30 day test and your life will change for the better.

There is certainly no way to criticize Earl Nightngale work being certainly a reference for huge works on self development and creativity.
I enjoyed reading this book but I found that this kind of information has now matured to a level more appropriate to the actual problems and needs of the society. It's a way to say it's a book of it's time. Not to say that it's not useful at all for today, but it might be more interesting for someone who is starting on the field for self development and want to know the oldest authors.

The advice in this book is inspiring and timeless. Earl Nightingale was a better inspirational speaker than any other I have read. The way he relays his message is unique in that he intersperses stories and quotes throughout and uses these to make his main points. This not only makes for more entertaining reading, the message also stay with you for longer and you are better able to relay the message to someone else as even if you forget the exact points that Mr. Nightingale makes, your rembember the supporting stories. I found this book to have more useful advice than books by Napolean Hill or any of the authors of the various Laws of Attraction books that are all the rage today. This book is better written than most of those, includes extensive information on the value of creativity and has applications for businees and sales that are as useful today as they were 50 years ago.

I haven’t read this a few years and after picking up this Kindle version, I couldn’t be more motivated to make it work. This short book encapsulates the essence of all success and the eloquent and concise way to explain it makes this book a pure treasure. Buy it, read, it, and read it again...forever.

Earl Nightingale was a motivational speaker in the 1950s until his death. He spoke about the "Laws of Attraction" long before this topic was trendy. This book is a gem of insight and instruction. This is actually several books in one as The Strangest Secret is just one of the writings in this book. There is a lot of other worthwhile material included here including various essays on developing creativity and developing an attitude that is productive and brings about positive results. This book is well organized but the writings of Mr. Nightingale stand on their own as as some of the best advice ever written.

This book, in its original form as a long playing record, launched Earl Nightingale's career, and Nightingale-Conant. It is a basic discussion of the Thoughts are Things concept. Think and Grow Rich, perhaps the best selling self-help book of all time, clearly influenced it. The Wisdom of Florence Scovel Shinn probably also influenced it. Perhaps The Secret took its name from this, I don't know. It is good, as it is, pretty basic. It is absolutely not New Age, not to me, anyway, it is like Joe Friday, very basic. I bought it, and am happy with it.

I first read this many years ago, actually got the tape too and listened to it on many long drives. It revealed to me the basic success formula for life, that over time has yielded an abundant life for me, so much more than I would have ever imagined, or others would have forecast of me.
I get chills rereading it, and playing the u-tube recording.
The thoughts conveyed are a distillation of the great sages of the ages.
When understood and applied, will change your universe, and set you on a successful life.
