There was so much to love in this book. The world she created was amazing with incredible and terrifying creatures, lands filled with so much beauty and darkness, and characters that pulled on your heart. Seeing Lorelei become who she was meant to be and Adrius going against everything his world told him to fight for her kept me from being able to put the book down. Throw in a witch that was so vivid I could just see her standing in front of me doing all those things and there wasn't much to not love about this book. Can't wait to read book 2!

Fire and Ice was a fantastical tale of magic! I loved all of the creatures, both the beautiful and terrifying. The author did a wonderful job of pushing your imagination to its limits. There was a little of everything: growth, discovery, love, sacrifice, deception, fear, and hope. Lorelei and Adrius had a amazing chemistry that kept you rooting and hoping for them. I thoroughly enjoyed delving into this world, and I am looking forward to more!

*I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*

What a wonderful story! I'm a huge fan of young adult fantasy, but I adored this one because it was so unique. I loved the concept of this young girl being able to heal people, but not being allowed to. When Adrius shows up and the fantasy kicks into high gear, hold on, cause this book ain't slowing down. If you're looking for the next young adult fantasy to get wrapped up in, read this book!

Well, I finally sat down to start reading Fire & Ice ... and finished it! It usually takes me weeks to read a book. I read Fire and Ice in two days!!! It is fantastic!!! Needless to say, I couldn't put it down! LOVE the characters, magic, mystery and romance, and the book cover! I am now hooked on faeries and elves and witches and all things magic! Waiting breathlessly for the next installment. (Can't wait to see who gets picked to play Adrius when the movie comes out!!)

I absolutely loved this book...I had a chance to read the sequel early on and all I can say is it's going to blow people's minds...The series reminds me a lot of Once Upon A time with a faerie twist, you won't be sorry for reading it!

Received an advance copy of this novel and loved it!!! Great mixture of romance, danger and adventure. The author created a world so vividly real, I felt I could almost step into it and the characters are wonderfully compelling. Although this author is new to me, I am now anxiously awaiting the sequel and looking for more of her books!

Okay I honestly don't read very much but this was terrible. It's like she took the vampires out of Twilight & added A Midsummer Night's Dream, Harry Potter & Elves. Which could be okay if the author had an original plot line, could write in a way that makes sence, didn't use the same words to describe things & wrote like they had a clue about punctuation & grammar. Unfortunately, the main character is basically Kristen Stewart's version of Bella- not as pathetic but just as hard to "watch", the elves speak like 20 year old teenagers & there are so many gaps in the plot/inconsistencies it was sad. I'm really upset I spent what little money I did on this book, fanfiction is better than this.
