This book, is the first book I read in this series. I have to say, it will not be my last. Don't worry, even not reading the first book, you can still follow along. But if you are like me, you will go and buy the first one just read how the series started.....

I loved how Justice is the ex- MMA fighter turned bodyguard. He is hired to protect Fallon, this is not your typical bodyguard romance. Fallon is 24 years old, still lives with her parents in a mansion and is very protective of her hence the bodyguard.

Sparks fly between Justice and Fallon, but there is action and suspense mixed in. Throw in fights, an ex-boyfriend and danger larking you have a great read....

You can tell by reading the story that Justice is falling hard for her. He is very protective but very tender and you can tell he will do anything for her. She falls for hin and They have their sweet moments. I loved how we saw some familiar faces, this is just a great read....

Someone, is using Fallon to get to Justice, can he stop them before it's to late? Can he and Fallon, have a happy ending?

I loved this book and can't wait for the next one....

I absolutely could not wait for Justice's book and I was NOT disappointed! When these tough men fall, they fall hard & fast!

Justice, working as a bodyguard for Body armor, is assigned to Fallon one night, sort of on a trail run, and there's an immediate attraction on both sides. She's led a very sheltered life since her parents are wealthy and there has been some tragedy in her family's past. Justice guards her as she explores new adventures like... going to a bar and drinking beer for the first time, visiting an art museum and many other simple things the rest of us take for granted.

The more time they spend together the more attracted they become to one another. And although Fallon insists she doesn't need a bodyguard things keep happening that suggest she does and Justice seems to be a target as well.

Friends and foes must work together on this case in order to catch those that are threatening the people Justice and Fallon care for.

I must say this story threw me for a loop. There were so many possible suspects that I kept changing my mind on whodunit! Mrs. Foster has a real winner with this book in the series! I cannot wait for the next!!

It has been a long time since I read a book by Lori Foster. About 5 years ago I devoured all the SBC books that she had and then started reading other things. When I saw this book and read the blurb, I knew I had to read it. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed and I remembered why I enjoyed her writing so much! This book was the perfect mix of suspense, sexy scenes and hot alpha men.
This book is number 2 in the Body Armor Series ( it is not necessary to read one, which I didn’t but I am certainly going back to read the first one in the series). This book is about Justice and Fallon. Justice is the strong proactive former MMA fighter turned bodyguard. For someone who was in such a rough field of worker, one would think he would be quite broody, but let me tell you he is oh so sweet.
Fallon is innocent and young, has been very sheltered, but she is now ready to break away from the shell. For someone so young, she has also experienced quite a bit of loss and darkness in her life.
I loved the chemistry between Fallon and Justice. They were the perfect match for each other and I loved all the secondary characters. I cannot wait to see who comes up next in this series. 5 stars for a great read!

Every time Lori Foster comes out with a new book, I like it more than the previous one. They're just always so good. But guys, this is it. I've found my all-time favorite Lori Foster book, ever. Justice is perfect. I lost myself while I was reading this. I got so into the story, into Fallon and Justice's relationship, that this book just flew by. It's hard to explain, but I think this was the smoothest/most seamless Foster book I've read yet. Even if I wasn't too familiar with all the characters (I wasn't a dedicated reader until the Ultimate series), this still just flowed beautifully.

There was just enough suspense in this book to add an edge to Justice's job. It moved the story along, but it didn't overshadow the romance that was building. And you could actual feel these two coming together. These two are perfect together, and I just want to coo and gush all over them. If you're a long-time reader of Lori Foster's books, you'll be happy to see former characters show up and help out, or just hang out. And there's several more unattached characters I hope get their story soon!
FIVE out of FIVE stars!

Lori Foster’s “Hard Justice” is a great read. The second in her “Body Armor” series, can be read as a standalone, though it pulls in characters from her previous MMA series. This is Justice Wallington’s story, former MMA fighter now Body guard. Justice joined the Body Armor team with Leese, another former MMA fighter and friend, and has a new assignment .. Fallon Wade, daughter of a wealthy hotelier. Fallon has a past that has made her parents overly protective, now she wants to experience the things that life have to offer. Her parent have agreed but only with protection… in the form of Justice. Justice is not your typical, blend in, type of guy . very very tall, scruffy, with his hair out of control, how does anyone think he cannot be noticed. As he takes Fallon to the various places she wants to go see, and experience, Justice finds there is something he is missing about Fallon and her past. Lori Foster has a certain way in her writing that makes her stories fun, exciting, funny with a touch of danger.

This is a great story, well told and a lot of fun.. Lori’s books are witty and fun, you will enjoy.

Hard Justice is the second book in the Body Armor series. Justice is a former MMA fighter who has decided to join his friend in the bodyguard business. His latest assignment is to guard a very sheltered rich girl He quickly realizes that Fallon is nothing like he was expecting.

Justice is definitely on my ever growing book boyfriend list. I loved these two together. Even thought it was fast, I felt like for the amount of time they spent together over the couple of weeks, made it seem like it had been longer. I always love it when it's the big alpha that falls first. It really makes me smile. Fallon's story was heartbreaking and Justice's handling of it was just perfect!

What I loved as much as the romance was Justice's grandmother. She was a hoot of a character and made me laugh. It wouldn't be a Lori Foster book without a mystery. This one definitely had me guessing. I kept thinking one thing only to find out I was wrong. That just made the book that much more fun to read. I flew through this book and am eagerly awaiting the next adventure with the men from Body Armor!

It was fun to see the big, badass, ex-MMA fighter Justice fall head over heels for sweet, innocent Fallon, who has been living a sheltered life the past five years. While Justice is cocky and tells it how it is, he also has a protective, loyal and caring side. I think I kinda fell for him the same as Fallon did. There is definite attraction between them from the beginning, but Justice is trying to do the right thing since she is a client and so he doesn't act on it. But when they do give in, wowzer!! It is steamy and hot, yet sweet and loving. I love his response when Fallon bares her soul to him by telling him about the tragedy that happened to her family.

The danger/threat that is the story line will have you wondering who is really behind it. Lori doesn't use the usual plot lines that you read a zillion times and I love that. And I love having the Ultimate Series characters make appearances in this series. I feel like I'm catching up with friends. If you are wanting an intriguing, action, heartwarming, witty and sexy read don't miss this book.

I have to say this series just got better. Don't know how Lori Foster managed it but it did. At first my impression of Fallon was sweet and just wanting to spread her wings a little. But with each chapter I found I liked her more and more. Though she has lived a sheltered life and remained as private as she could there is more to her than meets the eye. She's strong and brave and tenecious. She knows what she wants and is willing to work for it, despite having money to throw around. She is not into material things and wants a normal life.
Justice is down to earth very straight forward and ver protective. That shows immediately with Fallon. Even though he is assigned as her body guard he knows from the start this is not going to be his normal protection detail. I also have to mention Justice's mom and granny. They brought such humor to the story. I adored them right off. Without giving too much away I also loved that Justice introduced Fallon to his friends and getting to visit with those friends again was awesome. I can't wait until the next installment of this series.

This was another great read by Lori Foster! The second book in the Body Armor series and we learn more about Justice, a former MMA fighter who now works as a body guard. His newest job is to protect Fallon, a sheltered heiress who just wants to have fun and experience life.

Justice pretends to be her boyfriend so he doesn't stick out as he does his best to protect her. When her ex shows up, Fallon doesn't want her past secrets shared but Justice is determined to keep her safe. As they spend more and more time together, feelings start to develop and sparks fly. But with past hurts and tragedies, can Fallon overcome her past to find her true love?

This was a fun and quick read! I am a huge fan of Lori Foster and the new Body Armor series is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I love seeing older characters that we have met in previous books, its almost like catching up with old friends! If you love romance and big, hot alpha males, you definitely don't want to miss this book!

Ok so this book, holy cow!!!

Fallon is someone that has no clue what the world is like as a young adult. Sadly this is due to a tragedy that shook her whole world and changed everything she knew. Now as a young woman all she wants is to live life and have some fun. However, her parents want to protect her, keep her safe, and make sure nothing happens, good or bad. Hard to believe she is 24 years old and hasn't done anything.

Justice on the other hand is someone that has lived a full life, experienced a lot, and is now working to protect those that need it. Little does he know that this one job is going to change everything he thinks and knows. He could have never prepared for this young woman who has never experienced anything to rock his entire life to the core.

These two can't be more polar opposite from each other. Yet they go together and balance each other out in ways they never could imagine. The question becomes when danger gets closer, will Fallon be able to experience life and will Justice be able to keep her safe???

Meet my new book boyfriend Justice. He is a former heavyweight MMA fighter turned bodyguard that stands over six foot five and is built – well like a fighter. He is caring and easygoing. When he is assigned to Fallon he had no idea what he was getting into. Fallon is twenty four and tired of being under her parents rule but because of past tragedy and being a hotel heiress her father insisted that she have a bodyguard if she is going to go out.

The fact that Justice realizes he is falling for Fallon and tries to give her space to grow while still keeping her close was a wonderful story. Add some action, threats, romance, and of course an MMA fight and you have the perfect Lori Foster book. Joe and Dare where my number 1 and 2 book boyfriends that Lori has created but I think Justice just took the #1 spot.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review – trust me, I honestly loved this book and if you like fighters that are kind and caring and a woman discovering herself, you will love it too.

She's back and better than ever!!!

Lori Foster's new book, Hard Justice, book #2 in her Body of Armor series is outstanding. I don't think I've ever posted a bad review on Lori Foster, but that's because she always brings it all to the table and delivers.

Justice Wellington is a complete alpha male. He is a retired fighter from the SBC, now working full time as a a bodyguard. When he is given the duty of protecting rich girl, Fallon Wade, Justice thinks it will be just another simple job. Once meeting Fallon though, his mind realizes she's more than just the rich girl that has been way over protected by her parents.

At twenty four years old, Fallon has lived her whole life by the over-protectiveness of her parents. Now she is ready for more and to experience whta she has missed out on. When over-sized but super hot Justice shows up for the first day on the job, she already knows he's different.

This story is filled with a whole lot of Justice's smiles and charm, Fallon's wit and strong will and a lead to trouble that both of them are even aware of. And, you get a whole BUNCH of scenes with past fighters that have books from previous series. I seeing (okay, reading) those characters again and being apart of the fighting-family. I absolutely loved reading Justice's story and was completely consumed by the story. You're never really sure who the villian is, but the story keeps you guessing along the whole way.

Don't miss reading this - and if you haven't read the first book in the series, Under Pressure, starts the series off with Leese (Justice's good friend) and Catalina's story.

Lori Foster has done it again. With this latest installment of the Body Armor series she delivers a new favorite book boyfriend and a heroine I wanna be friends with! Justice has retired while on top from the MMA and is transitioning into his role as bodyguard. Fallon is struggling to break free from her sheltered home and a painful family secret. When her wealthy family hires Justice to guard her she's dreading the intrusion. Soon they find a way to work together and then it becomes more. As Justice comes to find the threat to Fallon is real he realizes his feelings for her are too. I loved watching as this definite alpha helps Fallon come into her own with tenderness and calm. And laughed and cried as Fallon learned to be her true self. A great love story come to life!! I highly recommend all of Lori Foster's books and especially this great addition. An awesome stand alone that will make you want to pick up the series.

Playing it safe has never felt so dangerous

Justice Wallington knows how to harness his strength and intimidating size, skills he put to good use first in the MMA cage and now as a bodyguard at the Body Armor agency. But no opponent has ever left him feeling as off balance as his new client, heiress Fallon Wade. Far from a spoiled princess, she's sweet and intriguingly innocent. It's a risk-free assignment, until he's required to fake a relationship with her in order to blend in.

Sheltered from the world after a family tragedy, Fallon longs to experience life, going to bars, dancing, talking to strangers. Not easy with a huge, lethal-looking bodyguard shadowing her every move. Justice seems like her polar opposite, but pretending to be a couple stirs undeniable heat. And when danger strikes again, it's not just her safety in jeopardy, but a passion that's real, raw and absolutely against the rules.

The main characters are well developed with defined personalities. The book itself if thought out and plotted well. It flows smoothly and cleanly. It appeals to those who enjoy suspense, romance and bad boy, good girl angst.

My rating of "Hard Justice" is 4.75 out of 5 stars.

*Great big happy sigh* Hard Justice is a must read! Justice, this big bad hot MMA fighter, is such a big softie. I totally fell in love with his humor and the way he talked and how he was so sweet to his mom and grandma. And I absolutely loved his interactions with Fallon. They were just too cute together. So much chemistry and sexiness between the two. Loved that! This story also had a little mystery element that took me a while to figure out but it wasn't as action packed as the previous book which I didn't mind one bit. It was less kick ass and more sweet and loving. I also loved getting glimpses of characters from the Ultimate Series. It was nice catching up with some of my favorite characters. Lori Foster always writes such wonderful stories filled with such lovable characters and now Justice is definitely on my favorite heroes list.

I loved this book. This is the 2nd book in Lori Foster's Body Armor Agency series (spin off of the Ultimate books), where Justice Wallington is working as a bodyguard. His client is an heiress, Fallon Wade. Fallon isn't spoiled, is very sweet & down to earth. She lives with her parents & they are very close though her parents are over protective of her after a family tragedy.

Fallon's parents hired Justice to keep Fallon safe, as she is now 24 & wants to enjoy life, go to different places & make new experiences. While Justice enjoys helping Fallon experience life & they are growing closer, there are some things that happen around them with a few characters that don't become clear til the end. We also get to visit with characters from the Ultimate series in this book when he takes her to her first MMA fight as well as seeing Leese again. We also get to see Sahara & Enoch too.

Hard Justice is the second novel is Lori Foster's Body Armour series and she's certainly consistent. I gave the first novel in the series, Under Pressure, a 4.5 star rating, and I'm giving Hard Justice the same 4.5 star rating.

If you've read Under Pressure, you've already met the hero, Justice Wallington, an alpha hero MMA fighter who, knowing he's too competitive to settle for anything less than the championship, and is introspective to know he'll never achieve it, retires from cage fighting and is a fairly new hire at the Body Armour security agency.

His new assignment is to bodyguard wealthy, smothered and reclusive heiress, 24-year-old, Fallon Wade. He was hired by Fallon's father, a stern, overprotective, and wealthy man. At age 24, Fallon hasn't even had a beer yet, let alone taken a lover, never even been to bar, gone out dancing, or any of the other commonplace things most women do and have done by the time they're that age. Her former fiance, Marcus, so damaged her self-esteem and confidence when he discovered the secret she'd been hiding--the loss of her sister in a fire that left her physically and emotionally scarred, that, in addition to making her wary of ever having a normal relationship with a man, she's wary of even trying again, but when she sets her eyes on her new bodyguard--huge, hunky, mohawk-haired Justice, she's as fascinated by him as he is with her.

Justice is drawn to Fallon like a moth to a flame. She's small, timid, pretty and has big doe-eyes that draw him in--so they are most definitely an odd couple, but the contrast between the two works. Justice is a gentle giant when it comes to Fallon, yet he's large enough to be intimidating to the men who attempt to meet her. Fallon is a tiny bird, just trying to spread her wings, establish her independence, try new experiences and meet new people.

The threats to Fallon's safety, both the ones imagined by her wealthy parents, and the actual ones that are real enough when it comes to her family home being vandalized, the ex-fiance who wants her back, someone pushing her down a flight of stairs, the MMA fighter, Tomahawk ("Tom"), who can't accept that Justice beat him in a cage fight and wants a rematch, and the two obnoxious, gambling brothers who want to bet on that rematch, form the basis of the plot that propels this novel forward. While the plot isn't the strongest or most angst-ridden one I've ever read, the real charm of this novel is the budding relationship between Fallon and Justice, the gentle way he protects her, his willingness to risk his job to pursue a relationship with her, their sexy times together, and Fallon's introduction to his family, all of which make this novel well worth the price of admission.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel, despite a couple of small issues, the main one being Justice escorting Fallon out of her home for the first time by saying, "Ladies first," something no protective bodyguard would ever do, but, since I was voluntarily reading an advance reader copy, I hope that little glitch was caught in the final edit. Finally, I'm loving this series so far, and cannot wait to see which of the many characters I've met will be featured in Ms. Foster's next Body Armour novel.

Lori Foster has done it again!
I'm not sure where this amazing author gets her ideas for her leading men and women, but Hard Justice once again gives us a couple to fall in love with.
Justice and Fallon are perfect together.
The dialogue and quick witted humour keeps the reader involved in the story.
Justice is sweet and funny and charming. He easily found a space inside my heart.
And Fallon won me over with her quiet strength and determination to find a life on her own.
I did miss the MMA aspect, the glimpse wasn't enough for me, only because I think Lori writes it so well.
And I have to say the 'bad guy' POV was highly entertaining.
So if u like your romance sweet and sexy with a little action and a whole lot of feel good moments; then Hard Justice is just what you're looking for!

I am throughly enjoying this spin off series from Lori Fosters Ultimate series. That series was my first foray into MMA based writing and I love that she is taking a turn and giving some of these guys a new life as bodyguards in an elite agency.

I quite enjoyed the first book in the series, we all know how nice it was to see Leese, bad boy (and not the good kind of bad boy...really just a bad. boy) the Hero in book 1, Under Pressure get his final redemption and HEA, but there was just something special about Justice and Fallon's story. I'll admit when I first met Justice in this book I thought 'oh crap, he's going to be a smart *butt* (really the store, really?) with a chip on is shoulder in this book.' but man I was so happy to discover my first impression was way off the mark. Justice is a truly sweet, kind, and loving Hero and Fallon, with her sweetness, insecurities and guilelessness, is the perfect Heroine for him.

I will admit that at times I found Fallon frustrating with how trusting she is and how 'proper' she believes she has to be. Allowing one character to continue to basically harass her out of some feeling of 'duty' or 'honor' bugged me. Justice had it right every time he tried to tell her to let him deal with the guy. Of course it all works out in the end but that doesn't stop the frustration when you are working through the story. On the other side of that frustration was a feeling of pride as we watch Fallon work to take her life back. After a horrific event her once 'hovering' parents become overbearing in their fear for her safety, and really while you can't blame them, they are honestly doing what every parent deep down wishes they could do in order to keep their child safe, they take their concern for her safety to the extreme which leads to Fallon being overly sheltered and at the age of 24 almost child like in her experiences. I loved that she fights to gain control over her life but at every turn she is still thoughtful and respectful to her parents feelings. It is not just about her being free but it is about them learning to let her go.

I'd like to say right now that I LOVED Fallon's mother. I kept thinking how like Justice I found her to be and then had that confirmed near the end of the story that made me want to punch the air and shout YES! While I am on the topic of 'family' I just have to mention Justice's grandmother....I want her in every book! Talk about a woman with pluck and spirit. I need her out there digging into everyone's business and bringing smiles to my face when things get tough. She was hilarious and I plain and simple did not get enough of her!

Not only do we get a sweet love story full of depth and character growth, Lori gives us the suspense I have come to expect from her stories, and I think that this time around this has to be one of the more devious plots to come out of this series or the Ultimate series. I will say I wish that we got more of an understanding as to why, other than the simple explanation of entitlement and arrogance. Maybe that's just my desire to believe that people can't be so horrible just because they feel like they have the right, that there has to be something deeper to their reasoning, it is simply hard to understand the I have the money so I have the right concept.

I love that we get so much time with the Ultimate characters, it always makes me smile to see their updates and the fact that Lori brings us back to them every book for that glimpse gives me major happy feels. I miss that group so much so it is wonderful seeing that their stories really haven't ended. We also get a big look into Miles who I am guessing has to be our next Body Armor story and man am I ever curious about his mysterious love interest. I am also wondering in the back of my mind if we may see Tomahawk as a hero in the future. I missed getting a little snippet about Sahara's brother...in the first book I got the impression that there is quite a story surrounding her brother so I kept looking for a maybe a little hint that something would be happening there, but nothing this book. Also, what is up with Sahara and Brand, *temples fingers together and hums with giddy curiosity*.

Hard Justice is a great addition to the Body Armor series, I am definitely hooked and anxious for more! If you love contemporary romance with an MMA background, if you love alpha guys who aren't *redacted for the store* (Really the store, you sell sex toys but I can't say the A world in a review?) Alphas but plain and simple Alpha males who protect their community and the ones they love then you will love this series!

HARD JUSTICE is the second installment in Lori Foster’s contemporary, adult BODY ARMOR erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Body Armor Security Team. This is former MMA fighter Eugene ‘Justice’ Walington, and interior designer/heiress Fallon Wade’s story line. The BODY ARMOR series is a spin off from Lori Foster’s MMA romance series ULTIMATE. Several of the Ultimate characters cross-over for cohesion and familiarity. You do not have to have read the previous series to understand or follow Body Armor.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Justice and Fallon) HARD JUSTICE focuses on the building relationship between bodyguard Justice Wallington and sheltered heiress Fallon Wade. Fallon is a twenty four year old young woman who has been sheltered from the outside world for several years following a tragedy that all but destroyed her family and her life. Enter Justice Wallington, a bodyguard from the Body Armor security agency, and the man with whom Fallon will fall in love. When a series of accidents and threats against our couple becomes personal, Justice and his fellow Body Armor and Ultimate MMA fighters set up a sting to take down the people responsible for threatening their lives. What ensues is the building love between Justice and Fallon, and Justice’s struggle to keep separate business and pleasure.

The relationship between Justice and Fallon begins as a business arrangement by Fallon’s father. Hoping to protect his daughter from everything and everyone, Fallon’s father hires Justice Wallington, then immediately fires him when things don’t go according to plans. Throughout the story Justice views Fallon more than a job but a woman that calls to his heart. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

There are a large number of secondary and supporting characters including Leese Phelps and Catalina Nicholson (Under Pressure #1), MMA fighter Tom ‘Tomahawk’ Nelson who wants a do-over with Justice, fighters Brand and Miles, Fallon’s ex boyfriend Marcus, Fallon’s parents, Justice’s mother and grandmother, and the boss and owner at Body Armor Sahara Silver. Several members of the Ultimate MMA fighters cross over for cohesion and familiarity. The requisite evil has many faces.

The world building looks at the family and friendships between the Ultimate MMA and Body Armor security guards; the fights, the fighters, and the camaraderie; the loves, the laughter and the happily ever afters. The premise is moving; the characters are realistic and tangible; the romance is a quick build to love and forever. HARD JUSTICE is a provocative look at one woman’s struggle to move on with her life.

Hard Justice is the second book in Lori Foster's Body Armor Series, which is a spinoff from her Ultimate Series, which, by the way, was awesome. If you read that series, you will be familiar with some of the characters in this series, though this is absolutely a standalone and does not require you to read prior installments in order to thoroughly enjoy this book. Former MMA fighter Justice Wallington has joined the Body Armor Agency as a bodyguard. He's tall, built, and totally hot, as you can imagine a former heavyweight MMA fighter would be. His assignment is to be bodyguard to one Fallon Wade. Fallon has very overprotective and very wealthy parents, even though she is 22 years old, and due to circumstances from her past, they insist she has a bodyguard. She is ready to finally spread her wings and experience life to the fullest, something she has not yet had the opportunity to do. Even though Fallon's family is rich, she is down to earth, insists on paying her own way and works, and doesn't judge anyone based on their socioeconomic status. Fallon is also very beautiful, though totally unaware of this, and the the way she dresses and acts let you know that she is totally oblivous to her beauty.

Fallon's beauty is something that Justice doesn't miss, however, and neither do the other men that are around Fallon. He soon finds himself unable to keep from crossing that professional line from bodyguard to boyfriend. When the threat of danger becomes real, however, Justice is willing and does do anything and everything he can to protect Fallon, and he has his colleagues and friends at his back with he and Fallon during the process.

Hard Justice is something fans of Lori Foster will most definitely enjoy, as well as fans of contemporary romance in general. The romance was hot, the story itself is one that you will delve right into and stay into from beginning to end, and there is the added element of suspense and danger that makes Hard Justice a very entertaining and intersting read. Definitely grab this one.

With the second book in the Body Armor series, Hard Justice brings us the story of Justice Wallington and Fallon Wade. Right from the beginning we see that this is not going to be your "typical" bodyguard job- there weren't any threats to Fallon's life, no one was out to get her, and quite honestly I was a little confused as to why exactly she needed a bodyguard. To me it felt more like an date-for-hire kind of situation- her parents wanted someone to be there with her as she ventured out into the world, to experience things that as a 24 year old you would have already expected her to have experienced. It's apparent Fallon has led a very sheltered life- she's never been to a bar, or out dancing, or done any numerous things most 24 year olds take for granted. In the beginning I found the way her parents coddled and treated her to be a little off putting, and very old-fashioned. As the story went along and we find out more as to why she's been treated this way it was a little easier to accept.

Where Fallon is naive and innocent, Justice is everything you'd expect to find in a Lori Foster leading man- caring, protective, strong, dominate, commanding. He's not what you'd call refined, and next to Fallon and her parents that was quite apparent. But Justice is not one to stand on appearances so he doesn't let this hinder how he does his job, or as time goes on, his feelings for Fallon. He's very patient and tender with Fallon, allowing her to set the pace once he makes it known to everyone that there's more between them than just bodyguard and employer.

Hard Justice was not what I expected, when it came down to the storyline, and that was a nice surprise. Overall I enjoyed the mystery in this one, and without giving away the twist, I will say there were times the bodyguard needed a bodyguard. I loved how once again we're treated to appearances by many of the Ultimate gang, and how they jump right in when needed. Ms. Foster did a great job keeping me on my toes, not knowing what to expect next.

Hard Justice

Lol, I love the opening, Fallon's reaction to justice, and Justice's one liners to Fallon's father giving orders to Justice on what to and not do. I knew I was in for another hot, sexy, funny roaring good time.

Justice, larger than life MMA fighter turned Bodyguard. Fallon, cute, insecure, sheltered. Fallon made me smile at all her firsts, all bright eyed and eager. Justice, what can I say you big, sexy hunk. I read some lines twice because I loved his no nonsense talk. He used one of my favorite words lol! These two were a hoot, as well as Justice's mom and granny!

I loved Under Pressure, but I think Hard Justice has become my favorite so far. I absolutely love this spinoff. So looking forward to the next book in the Body Armor series.

I am loving this Body Armor series! Justice has always been a colorful character with his brightly colored faux-hawk in the cage. Although he has toned it down a bit to work at the agency, he is still a prime male specimen with the same alpha protective, gentle giant characteristics that the other fighters possess unless duty requires a stronger response.

Fallon's parents are a bit stunned when he arrives but Fallon is intrigued. She has been fairly isolated at times over her life due to her father's status and wealth, and it only became worse over the past 5 years since tragedy struck the family. Now she wants to try to start experiencing so many things that she has missed out on, and Justice is going to keep her safe while she does it.

Initially it seems as though her parents are just being overprotective, and it is clear Fallon has been very sheltered and is innocent in many ways. But she has a sensual side that stirs up all kinds of inappropriate feels in the big guy that have no place in a professional relationship. When threats suddenly appear to be real, Justice's protective instincts are firing on all cylinders and close proximity breeds some very unprofessional sparks!

It took a few chapters for me to start warming up to Fallon, but then I started to enjoy the easy banter between her and Justice. She may come from a wealthy family but she is down to earth and values some of the simplest things in life. She fits in well with the Justice's extended family of the fighters and their significant others too, and I always enjoy seeing more of Cannon, Armie, Stack, Denver, Leese and other favorites from past books too.

Hard Justice has some heart pounding moments on both the danger and sexy scales, and it kept me turning the pages so that I finished it in one sitting. I can't wait to see what comes next!

My first book ever I read from Lori Foster was Sawyer (Buckhorn Brothers #1) a few years back and she has had me hooked since. In my opinion her books just get better and better. Lori just has just enough sex in her books to satisfy this reader, not every other chapter like some authors, she actually can tell a story and show a romance blossoming this is one author who knows sex isn’t all there is in a romance read.

Justice was this big tough alpha ex MMA fighter who gave up his fighting to become a bodyguard, his current assignment is Fallon Wade, who he is hired to protect by her overprotective parents. All Fallon wants is to be an independant 25 year old and enjoy her independants. She agrees to go along with her parents on a body guard to ease their state of mind, but when Justice shows up at the door she is more than willing to have him as her bodyguard.

Justice may have been a tough alpha male but when it came to Fallon he was putty in her hands. I just loved watching Justice around Fallon he was compassionate, sweet, tender lover. When she finally let Justice in on her secret he was exactly what she needed. Justice expected a spoil rich naive brat when he was assigned to Fallon’s case but soon realized she was the total opposite. I enjoyed watching the romance blossom between Justice & Fallon, especially Justice keep fighting it due to being her body but once he stopped it was full steam ahead. The best part was watching Fallon blossom into the person she truly wanted to while in Justice’s hands.

Book #2 in the Body Armor Series is a vast improvement over #1. We have hot, insta-lust coming off both H/h, a mystery that is slow to reveal itself and secrets that will take time to uncover. I just LOVE it! Nothing is as it seems and Justice has his job cut out for him protecting Fallon and at the same time keeping his hands off her.

Fallon, poor, little, rich girl. At 24 her overprotective parents have agreed to allow her some freedom but have hired Body Armor operative, Justice, to protect her. After their first "date" Justice has to dispatch 3 street thugs who try a purse snatch and gets fired. There is a really good reason for the overprotection, but the book is slow to reveal it. Fallon's family suffered a tragedy five years ago when her sister died. All Fallon wants to do is live a normal life and she wants to start doing that with Justice.

Justice was a good MMA fighter, but not great. When his friend, Leese, left the fight world for Body Armor he encouraged Justice to give the personal protection thing a try. Justice has finally found something he is great at. When he is hired to protect Fallon it all the willpower he can muster to keep his hands off her. Client, innocent, inexperienced. Those three things make her as taboo as a woman could get. But, Justice can tell himself that all he wants, the heart wants what the heart wants and Justice's heart (and body) want Fallon.

When acts of vandalism and other strange things start happening, Justice begins to think that there is something more then overprotectiveness to the Wade's concern for their daughter.

After reading UNDER PRESSURE, the first novel in the Body Armor series, I was anxious for Justice Wallington’s story. We first met Justice in the Ultimate series, and Foster delivered a one-two punch that left me swooning. Justice left the MMA world to join Leese at Body Armor, an elite security service company. His first job seems low key. All he needs to do is protect an heiress named Fallon Wade. It was fun seeing Justice transform from fighter to a protector.

Fallon Wade isn’t the entitled heiress he expected to encounter, and her parents seem awfully protective of their twenty-four-year-old daughter. Fallon’s life has been very sheltered, and Justice soon realizes she hasn’t experienced any of the firsts her peers have. Fallon wants to experience life, and find her independence. She is refreshing, innocent, and brightens Justice’s world. Things get complicated when a threat presents itself and thoughts of kissing her begin to consume him.

The suspense angle was intense with plenty of red herrings and suspects including a pushy ex-boyfriend. I loved how Foster used this threat, to allow Justice and Fallon to become closer as she exposes their pasts, vulnerabilities, fears and desires. I connected with both of them, even Fallon who I was sure I wouldn’t like. Her story will gut you, and I found myself wiping away tears. I loved the moment when the cover made sense and thought Foster did an excellent job of wrapping up the suspense and ending their story.

From their chemistry to time spent with characters from the Ultimate series, HARD JUSTICE delivered an engaging, swoon-worthy, and action-packed tale that allowed me to slip into their world for a few hours. I cannot wait for news on the next book.

WOW! So I really enjoyed book #2 in the new Lori Foster Series (Body Armor) Hard Justice – if you have not read book #1 I highly recommend it but it’s not a MUST to enjoy this hard to put done book. The who done it & why….WOW; the twists & turns throughout this books just keeps you guessing & doubting yourself!! And of course I always enjoy the love story aspect of Lori Foster’s books & boy does this book bring the HEAT!! The female character (Fallon Wade) is such a great counterpoint to the male lead – Justice Wallington; I am just going to say that opposites really do attract! I love that in this new series each book is different while still bringing in the characters we have met/fell in love with in previous books. I really enjoy how Lori Foster is able to pack so many characters (new & old) into her books without making it seem like an overload of information/characters. Oh & just wait until you get to meet the 2 families, they just might surprise you before the book is over!

I am REALLY looking forward to book #3 - Miles Dartman’s story Close Contact.

I really enjoyed seeing Justice's character develop in this book. He comes off as a tough guy, but he really has a heart of gold. It was enduring to see him interact with his mom and grandma.

I actually had a hard time with this cover. I was thinking, dude this isn't how I picture Justice. The deeper I got into the story, I was like okay now it make sense. Now to get the good stuff of Hard Justice. We learn that Justice is still having a hard time coping he's no longer MMA fighter. He still believes he has some fight in him, but he knows he's never going to be a great one. He's slowly accepting the fact that he's going to be a bodyguard. Now he's getting to his second assignment which involves Fallon Wade.

Justice is trying ever so hard to keep it all professional, but he seems something in her. However, he's trying to have the hands off in his mind. While Fallon is trying to spread her wings cause she's led a shelter life. At first they have a communication issues. He's trying to do his job, while she wants to have fun. On top of that Fallon is trying to find herself, because she hasn't much experience in life. The one time she did, well, it didn't go too well.

I adore Justice, because deep down he's a big ol' teddy bear that can kill if needed. Fallon is so sweet and innocent. I enjoyed Hard Justice. I'm excited about this series. I like that you see the guys come help Justice when he needs a little more help. Overall, I thought this was a pretty good read, and I can't wait for more.

Hard Justice is the second book in Lori Foster’s Body Armor series and is a keeper! This books features Justice and Fallon, an unlikely couple at first glance, at least to me. I loved how their relationship developed throughout the story starting out as bodyguard and client to friends to lovers. Fallon has some issues to overcome and it takes the big, bad bodyguard’s softer side to give her the confidence to put them in the past. This book has everything a great book needs- smoking hot guys, strong female, a little danger, and laugh out loud moments. If you have never read anything by Lori Foster, you don’t know what you are missing! She always writes great books that are fast paced with lots of chemistry between the couple. I highly recommend this book.

Coming from two completely opposite worlds, Justice grew up street tough and poor but with a loving family, Fallon a sheltered little rich girl with parents who were indifferent, can the infatuation between them grow into more?

These two characters were so much fun! Fallon spreading her wings after being sheltered most of her life and Justice trying to let her enjoy herself without getting into too much trouble. The attraction is immediate for these two but because Justice has been hired by Fallon's family to keep her safe, they deny, deny, deny.

Lori Foster's words bring you into the worlds of these tough, protective, alpha dudes and paint such a vivid picture, you feel as if you are right there with them. Hard Justice is book two of the Body Armor series and so far my favorite.

Another fantastic story from these hot and steamy MMA/"bodyguards. Justice has always intrigued me since the the previous books he appeared in. He's not your typical body guard and Fallon, who he is hired to protect isn't what he expected her to be either. She lived such a sheltered life that she wants to break out and live. She know with Justice as her bodyguard she may just have a chance but the past always has a way of creeping back up not on just Fallon but Justice as well. He needs to resist her and protect her especially when things start to happen. This book has everything you've come to expect from Lori Foster. She always delivers and each of these men just keep you wondering damn if they only did exist for real. "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."

Fallon hates having a bodyguard. But, when she lays her eyes on Justice she begins to have a different feeling about having a bodyguard. Especially one that looks like him. Justice knows that Fallon is a client and nothing can come of his attraction to her. As his feelings grow for her, he realizes he can no longer be just a bodyguard anymore. He wants everything. Can he break down her walls an get her to trust him before a threat takes her away from him?

I adore all of Lori Fosters MMA books. Justice is the epitome of for MMA turned bodyguard. The steaming hot description of him will have your kindle steaming up just for that. As Fallon and Justice grow closer the wonderful forbidden client/bodyguard romance becomes such the focus that the reader will forget there is actually a reason she needs a bodyguard. As the suspense and romance are seamlessly woven together the book comes to a climax that is both exciting and steamy. It isn’t just the relationship between Fallon and Justice that make the book tick. The families and friends of both Justice and Fallon truly help everything come together. If you are looking for a great romantic bodyguard book then look no further.

Former MMA fighter Justice Wallington now works for Body Armor as a bodyguard. His latest job is to guard Fallon Ward, a twenty-four year old who has lived a sheltered life due to her parents being over protective after she was hurt in a fire five years ago.

Well, I loved Justice! He was funny and real and didn't sugar coat anything, yet was respectful. He was tender with Fallon, all the while protecting her.

Fallon was a bit unbelievable. Yes, she had been sheltered by her parents after the fire. But the way it was made out to sound in here was that she had done NOTHING since she recovered. She was thrilled to go to a fair. Had she never been to one as a child? She was excited to be going to a museum. That was a first? I can get never going to a bar or drinking a beer. But the rest I find unbelievable. She had a degree in interior design. How'd she finish that if she was this terribly sheltered?

As always, the relationships between the guys is what made me smile the most. Armie and Cannon, Leese and Denver. It was awesome. Their friendship is awesome! Kind of reminds me of the BDB with how they get along and tease each other and have each other's backs. :)

Fallon Wade wants to experience life but has to have a bodyguard in tow to keep her parents happy. When she's introduced to Justice Wallington, he looks like no bodyguard Fallon's ever seen. When attraction interferes with the job, Justice and Fallon have to make decisions on where they want to take their relationship.

This was an adorably fun read! Fallon was a exuberant blend of sugar and spice and Justice, he was all good ole boy charm behind his toned exterior. Their romance was a lovely mix of sexy and sweet that had a wealth of sizzling tension and so much humor, I found myself cracking up many times! The suspense plot provided a nice edge to the story and gave an excuse to catch up with Cannon and the gang (from the Ultimate series). It also gave shows who may get their story told next in this series!

I always enjoy how Foster shows a connection between family and friends and Hard Justice is no different. Whether it's Fallon's or Justice's families (who are a hoot) or Justice's close group of MMA friends and wives, there's never a dull moment to be had! This story is overflowing with humor, action, and a romance that is sure to have readers smiling when finished!

This is the second book of Ms Foster’s new series, Body Armor, but know it’ss a stand alone .
In this one, our main characters are Justice and Fallon. Justice is a MMA fighter who has retired and now works as a bodyguard for Body Armor. He is hired to protect Fallon. Fallon is a young wealthy woman that due to a tragedy in her past, has been sheltered, has little self esteem and has not experienced life. When her boyfriend shatters her by his reaction, to her injuries she closes up even more. Justice is taken by the young woman and is determined to help her expand her wings. All this while it seems someone is trying to hurt her. He is determined to protect her with his life. I loved his character. He was strong, but also a sweet, and caring man.
It’s an entertaining story, full of hunky fighters, chemistry between the characters and action. But it’s also a story about how injuries , guilty feelings, over-protective people, and low self-esteem, can affect the person experiencing them. And how love, and understanding, can heal us to no end.
Another great story by this talented author. I am looking forward to more stories in this series.
I was gifted this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

From the first page of Hard Justice, the chemistry between our old friend, Justice Wallington and the subject of his new protection detail, Fallon Wade, was off the charts. Justice has always been an interesting and funny character, even back when we first met him in the Ultimate series. But getting to know the real Justice Wallington (even finally finding out his real name!) was awesome.

In this novel, we came to know Justice as a big, lovable, protective, honorable teddy bear who had eyes for Fallon from the first time he saw her peeking over the balcony. And the comic relief started when Justice was not the least bit intimidated by Fallon’s rich parents but still had to look up the word “avuncular”.

Through the book, Hard Justice was heavy on romance with just the right amount of suspense to keep me glued to the pages. Especially funny were Justice’s grandmother and mother who were hilarious by themselves and endearing in their interactions with Justice. And I loved the way that some of our old friends, like Cannon and Armie, showed up and stayed for a while in this one, giving the reader some family updates.

Overall, Hard Justice was a great installment to a wonderfully exciting series. I can’t wait for Miles’ book which is up next!!

This is actually a cute, sweet book. Justice had preconceived ideas on his new assignment, Fallon. Once he met her he found out he was so wrong but it in a good way.

Justice is actually a very sweet man. He still has the body from his fighting days and Fallon can't help but notice it. I especially loved the way he was with his mom and grandma and how he treated them. He also always does the right thing no matter what.

Fallon just wants to be normal and her dad is crazy protective of her. I can understand his feelings after everything they've been through but he needed to loosen up.

I loved seeing everyone from the Ultimate Series and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book of this series.

This is the second book in Loris Fosters spin off of her “Ultimate” series - here in “Hard Justice” we see a favorite retired MMA fighter, Justice who now works as an elite bodyguard for Body Armor. His current assignment is to protect heiress, Fallon Wade. Fallon has kept close to her parents since a family tragedy. But now she wants to experience what every 24 year old already has – a little fun and who better that to show her some while still looking out for her but a big, scary but down to earth Justice.

But as things begin to heat up between Justice and Fallon odd things start to happen around them. Justice senses something is off and starts to keep an even closer eye on Fallon. Their relationship does not make everyone happy but there is no denying the sparks that are flying.
The much loved secondary characters are also back - Sahara, the owner of Body Armor is back in all her wonderful glory. Plus when Fallon goes to her first MMA fight we get a cameo from all the “Ultimate” boys and their wives, who as usual are there to lend a hand and a watchful eye.

A definite read, you will not be disappointed. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Tales From the Heart blog review by Leanne thanks to NetGalley

I loved this latest book by Lori Foster, I'm such a fan of hers. This is Justice and Fallon's story. Justice is an ex MMA fighter now bodyguard and Fallon is a rich naive heiress. Due to a tragedy a few years ago Fallon has lived her life in limbo and has been very sheltered. Her parents hire Justice, and Fallon blossoms. The more time they spend together the more connected they become.
Love it when an Alpha male is brought to his knees by a sweet innocent, child like young woman.
I know nothing about fights but the author certainly brought the atmosphere to life. The story was exciting and fun with some drama thrown in...loved the ending. The characters were also enjoyable to read. I highly recommend this book.

Another fantastic story by Lori Foster! The very first book I ever read from her was 'Holding Strong', a part of the Ultimate Series. I cannot express how much LOVE I have for that series as a whole and how this one is coming in a close second. Characters from that series now spinning off into their own allows you to relive that world but see it with a different set of eyes. Justice, is the really good man that just looks the part of the bad boy. Overprotective, immediate attraction and loyalty are all traits immediately felt and expressed to the reader of how he feels about the super cute heroine, Fallon. Not even a quarter of the way into the book and I was hooked. I could not put it down and needed to know every single insight that Lori cared to share. Mystery, intrigue and romance can be found within its pages in this heartwarming adventure. I can't wait til it is published next week. Even though I received an ARC I can't wait to buy it and add it to my shelf of books I love.

Justice Wallington is a former MMA fighter who has switched to being a body guard. His first client is Fallon Wade an heiress who has lived in a protected bubble. He is assigned to help her spread her wings and fly. Justice and Fallon start to fall in love, can they trust in their relationship? Justice connection to his mom and grandma was off the charts sweet and cute. I liked seeing the change in Justice and Fallon relationship from friendship to love.

I liked this book overall. The writing was strong and the chemistry with the main characters was also strong. Although, I was never really able to be clear as to the reason Fallon needed the bodyguard her parents hired for her, other than them being overprotective. This made it tough for me to engage with the story at the beginning, although there was a shift in focus from her needing the bodyguard to just needing someone there for her as she spreads her wings.

Unfortunately, this and some of the characterization of her left me feeling that Fallon was a little young for Justice. And, while she did grow up, I was left feeling as if I am not totally convinced that this is a relationship that is going to last. They had chemistry, and there was a spark between them, and they do love one another, so I am hopeful. I also liked the nod to this at the ending.

The pacing was strong as were the supporting characters, so this was a book that was worth reading. I am looking forward to the next in the series, both to read the story and also to see how the author handles the evolution of the story told in this one.

I do recommend this book.

If you would ask me to describe this book in one word, that word would be SWOON!

I had no idea that Justice could be so endearing, I loved his relationship with the women in his life and also the relationship he began to form with Fallon.

The book has this mystery element that I really liked, it kept me guessing throughout the whole book and that allowed me to get lost in the pages and finishing it sooner that I was comfortable with because I was really getting attached to the characters.

I was also pretty cool that we got to see little pieces from the Ultimate series.

Another winner by Lori Foster. This is the story of Justice and Fallon. He's a former MMA fighter turned bodyguard and she's a sheltered rich girl looking for adventure after leading a sheltered life. Throw in an ex-boyfriend and a couple of bad guys looking for a fight and you've got a great story. Hard Justice is the second book in the Body Armor series and I recommend it highly. A hero with a Mohawk and a sense of humor - I loved this story! Hard Justice is book 2 in a series, however it stands alone well. Lori Foster strikes a nice balance between action/passion/romance in this fast paced, entertaining read. Her characters speak with really clear voices and are layered and interesting. The dialogue is snappy and really seems to fit the characters and the situations. I really appreciate that Ms. Foster seems to make her sex scenes so integral to the plot, they never seem gratuitous. The bodyguard trope makes for a really compelling and entertaining series.

As a longtime reader of Lori Foster, Hard Justice is a wonderful reminder why I continue to pick up her books.

Hard Justice is the second Body Armor book. Justice Wallington is a fighter turned body guard and his new client is Fallon Wade. I really enjoyed the opposites attract trope. Add in a few twists and the pages kept turning.

I am a Lori Foster's fan, have been for years. This was Justice's book, pretty sure you could tell from name. Lori does not disappoint with this book. Justice was hired to protect Fallon, a 24 year old sheltered rich girl. He is attracted to her from the onset, and feels protective of her, regardless of his job. She is harrassed by her ex boyfriend who is a jerk, and when you find out why, you feel sorry for her, so she is self conscious, however Justice makes her feels beautiful. I enjoyed this book, but the plot is very reminiscent of many plots out these days where it is an alpha male protecting a sweet female and trying to deny any feelings between the two of them. In th8s book Justice is hired by Fallon's wealthy parrnts to protect her but she thinks they are just geing overprotective. Fallon's usual bodyguards wore stuffy suits and dark glasses but when she first sees Justice she was shocked to see this tall muscular good looking guy with a fauxhawk. This is a great addition to the Body Armor series with the fighters from the Ultimate series playing a big part in this love story of Justice and Fallon. Justice was assigned to be Fallon's body guard being hand picked by Rebecca, her mom from the Body Armor agency that he just started working for after retiring from boxing. Justice was a massive man and very colorful with a mohawk and not your usual looking body guard which was exactly what Fallon needed to help her with discovering new things having been sheltered by her parents. Years ago her sister had died in a fire with Fallon being burned badly also so fifteen years later they were overly protective of her and she needed to live her life since she was twenty four. From the moment Justice saw her he had to keep reminding himself he was being paid to guard her. She was very attracted to Justice and felt totally safe and relaxed with him. This was the beginning of their romantic and suspenseful journey with non stop action with all the Ultimate fighters helping Justice take down the people that were threatening them. Justice and Fallon's love story was so romantic as they get their happily ever after also. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait time read the next release.

Hard Justice

This book is wonderful and will keep you guessing to the end.

Justice a former MMA cage fighter has hung up his gloves to work for Body Armor.agency as a body guard. When assigned to watch over Fallen a woman who has been sheltered for the past five years after tragedy strikes her family. She being a wealthy person herself and having controlling and over protective parents makes a deal with her parents to let her LIVE!!! The only stipulation is she will have protection. Justice believes he will be a glorified babysitter to a spoiled brat. Oh how wrong you can be when he finds Fallen to be sweet, energetic, and over all fun to watch experience life through her eyes. When threats, attraction and emotions get brought into what Justice thought to be an easy assignment will throw everything he thought he knew out the preferable door.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Written in Dual POV MY PERSONAL FAVORITE!!!

I've been reading Lori Foster books for a long time and you'd think that I'd know what to expect from her. This is one of those books that I got more than I was expecting and am so happy to say it's another winner from Ms. Foster and for this series.

This book is Justice's story and his assignment to protect Fallon a 24 year old young woman that we come to find out is quite naive...wasn't really sure why she needed the guarding, but we do find out and it all makes sense.

Talk about opposites attracting. Justice is a man that has a completely different background than Fallon but in a way these two make sense. He has the need to protect and he's good at it, and Fallon needs to have someone who'll let her feel her way into new situations without letting her get hurt or having the situations get out of hand. Of course a lot of the time they spend together is in her "world" which is quite wealthy, not something Justice is used to.

This story was so wonderfully written. I loved the pace, the character development. I became invested in both their lives and wanted them so desperately to find their way to each and making their happily ever after a reality and not a dream. Bravo to Ms. Foster for another winner!

Lori Foster’s stories have me coming back for more. She always has likeable characters with a great plot and story to keep you entertained. The Body Armor is my new favorite series by Lori. Incorporating hot alphas, instant chemistry and mysterious plots make for a perfect book.

Justice is big and badass with no filter and a death stare while Fallon is sweet and innocent. If not for Body Armor these two most likely would have never met but they are perfect for each other. These two were adorable together. I loved the instant chemistry and connection.

This story was cute and sexy with a mix of mystery and suspense. It had little angst with a mysterious plot and touching moments. I loved Justice’s sweet side with the woman in his life. It made him that much irresistible. I give kudos to Fallon for putting fear behind her and getting her life back.

I love how Lori blended together characters from her Ultimate Fighter series with this new series. We got to see some of our favorite fighter’s from Cannon’s gym and maybe some potential new bodyguards. I look forward to more in this amazing series.

Hard Justice is book two in the Body Armor Series by Lori Foster and very enjoyable. Foster penned a fun and sexy romance that brings back all your favorite characters from her previous MMA books, while introducing new ones that steal your heart.

Justice is the new bodyguard for Fallon Wade. All Fallon wants to do is experience a little. She wants to go to bars, dance, and kiss…nothing out of the ordinary, but because her family is wealthy and there was an accident previously, she needs someone to be there for her and make sure she is safe. Justice and Fallon’s attraction to each other is instant and heady. But what happens when professional lines are crossed and guarding Fallon becomes more than just a job?

Both, Fallon and Justice were amazing in this book. Justice was sexy, sweet, funny, and lethal…a great combination for a hero! Fallon was completely lovely. Her scars, personality, and joy at the littlest things kept me smiling. For those readers who enjoy a great romance, Hard Justice, should definitely be your next pick! Reviewed by Jennifer for MNP!

I always know that when it comes to Lori Foster, she will give you a great story hands down. What I love about Hard Justice is that not only do we fall for Fallon and Justice, but we get to see a few of the characters from the past ( other books and different series ). I have kept up with Lori's fight series and thrilled that they have not been forgotten once their stories ended.

Fallon is a very innocent but special lady. Before finding out what she has been hiding, I knew that she had a sheltered life before. When Justice was given 30 days to be her body guard he had that same gut feeling too. Oh the chemistry with the sexy scenes in this book is off the charts good! When Fallon's ex comes around, you find her vulnerable and worried that she will make the same mistakes. In book one, I had a different perception of Justice because I think I was caught up with Leese since day one. Justice is protective, strong, a mountain of muscle, and just down right sexy! I am so glad I got to spend more time with him <3.

Hard Justice has drama, suspense, and keeps you on your toes in every page. When I read this book, I never wanted to put it down. I would always find a way to steal a page or two to read and it would end up being a whole chapter. If I could give more than 5 stars for the rating, I would give it a 10!

I love all the alpha males that Lori Foster writes about in her books. This book is about Justice and Fallon. I do not want to give anything away because reading it and learning about these two is what makes this such a great read. Justice is just getting started in the business of being a bodyguard. Fallon is a naive young woman who just want to enjoy some freedom. They fall for each other from the start. Getting to know them and their pasts made this a great story with really sweet moments.
I feel like these people are friends of mine. I love how you get to keep up with all of them in each of the books. It is great how they are all always there for each other. This book will make you laugh out loud and keep you going with all the action and suspense.

I absolutely love the 'Body Armor' Series! "Hard Justice" is a definite must read for the romantic suspense reader. Justice, a former MMA fighter, with the guys we know and love is now a bodyguard for 'Body Armor' agency. He guards Fallon in more ways than just standing on the sidelines watching. Justice and Fallon were just as much fun as a couple for me as any of the guys from the 'Ultimate' Series, as well as Leese and Catalina in the first of the 'Body Armor' series. Getting to see the progression of the MMA fighters and all of the guys that are branching off is just a plus. The reader does not feel lost or that they missed anything, as each book stands alone, but as a follower of Lori Foster, I have read both series and loved them all. If you have not read "Hard Justice" yet, it is one I recommend, as it is one hot read! A great HEA for Justice and Fallon. An easy 5 stars!

Fallon Wade has led a sheltered life ever since suffering a family tragedy when she was nineteen. Now, five years later, she is ready to experience life and become independent. The only problem is that her parents won't allow her to go out without a bodyguard. Lucky for Fallon, her bodyguard is sexy Justice Wallington from the Body Armor Agency.

Knowing that Fallon is vulnerable and naive, Justice does his best to be honorable and fight his attraction to her. However, when he is required to fake a relationship with her, it becomes harder to resist the temptation.

Hard Justice is a great addition to the Body Armor series. I love that my favorite couples from the Ultimate series, as well as Rowdy and Avery from the Love Undercover Series, were featured in Hard Justice. All 3 series are excellent!

When I think of Lori Foster, I think of MMA fighters and bodyguards; therefore, I was not surprised to learn that the hero in Hard Justice is a former MMA fighter, who is now a bodyguard. Ms. Foster definitely has a knack for writing these protective, tough alpha-males, and she’s written a lot of great books with them as the romantic leads.

Justice Wallington loved competing in the MMA, and he was a good fighter - but he wasn’t a great one. He achieved moderate success, but at thirty years old he had to accept that his career as a professional fighter was over. He started working as a bodyguard for the security firm, Body Armor, and he’s enjoying his new profession although he isn’t as passionate about it as he is fighting. His newest assignment is to protect the heiress Fallon Wade, and he’s not thrilled by the idea of guarding her. He assumes she’s a pampered, frivolous and annoying rich girl, but she surprises him and is nothing like he expected.

Fallon is hard working, considerate and doesn’t appear to be affected or spoiled by her family’s remarkable wealth. She’s twenty-four and has been sheltered by her well-intentioned but over-protective parents making her quite naïve for her age. She’s ready to spread her wings and have the normal experiences of someone in her early twenties, and her parents are reluctantly allowing her to do so - as long as Justice guards her while she’s out sowing her tame wild oats. At first it is not clear to Justice (or the reader) why her parents are so controlling or why she needs a bodyguard, because there is no apparent imminent threat to her safety. No one is forthcoming with any explanation; therefore, he assumes her family’s fortune makes her a target for nefarious sorts of people.

Both Fallon and Justice are attracted to each other when they meet, and these feelings grow rapidly as he starts escorting her on her outings, which include things like drinking a beer at a local bar, going out dancing and exploring a street festival. Justice also suggests new adventures for her, such as attending an MMA fight. From the very beginning of their working relationship, Justice does not act how a typical bodyguard would act. He’s not wearing a suit – he’s in jeans and a t-shirt. He’s not standing in the background watching Fallon drink a beer – he’s sitting with her at the bar having a beer too. He’s not escorting her out with her friends – he’s taking her to his friend’s parties and introducing her them. They never maintain a professional relationship, which blurs the line between employer and employee and makes it easy for them to get more personal and eventually begin a romance.

Of course, dating a client is against Justice’s employer’s rules, and he’s moderately conflicted by breaking the bodyguard’s ethics, but it is not much of an issue for anyone and is easily resolved.

Not everything is smooth sailing in Hard Justice – small, surreptitious acts start occurring that threaten both Fallon and Justice. It is unknown who is behind these deeds or their intentions, and Justice finally has the opportunity to act like a bodyguard and solve the problem while also keeping Fallon safe. The who-done-it is not obvious, and this makes the story more interesting.

Hard Justice is an enjoyable book, and Lori Foster writes well. You’ll definitely appreciate Hard Justice. .

I loved loved this book! Justice is the best! I loved the storyline and the wonderful characters. This was perfectly paced and such fun to read. it was a little low on the sexy times but what there was of them were hot as can be. Definitely didn't feel I was missing out on anything with the story. it grabbed and wouldn't let go. This author is such an amazing storyteller and each book feels like coming to visit family. Couldn't ask for a better read! Highly recommend it! I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy.

Justice and Fallon are an unlikely pair who become attracted to each other. He helps her to heal from things in her past that have caused her parents to be overprotective. What started as just parents wanting to protect their daughter turns into a bit of a mystery as it seems someone is out to harm her. Justice isn't going to let that happen and will protect her at all costs. He has such a gentle and kind heart when it comes to Fallon and she truly blooms under his care and love. With the help of his boss and his friends they work together to solve the mystery and really become a couple! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Another winner from Lori Foster! Hard Justice was #2 in the series and Justice & Fallon's story. Sweet, sexy, funny, a little action... At that you expect from Ms. Foster and more! I'm seriously loving these characters and how they interact with each other. Cameos from the Ultimate & Love Undercover gangs, and secondary characters that you KNOW will be featured in future books. I do believe Miles and Brand are next. Can't wait for the next one!

Once again Lori Foster has given us an amazing book ! The characters are wonderful and the storyline is amazing . She keeps us involved with their lives and in the lives of the characters from her previous books . Having an MMA fighter as a bodyguard would be a dream come true! If you have never read this book or any of Lori Foster's books, I recommend you check any of them out , you will not be disappointed.

Justice and Fallon seem to be complete opposites but in this story they definitely attract! Lori's description helped me to easily visualize the characters and the pace of their romance was perfect. If you like your heartthrobs as sweet as they are big and brawny and your heroines striving for independence but still looking for love this is the perfect book for you!

Loved this book and loved seeing some of the "Rowdy's" friends and family. Lori continues to remain in my top three favorite author list -- I have read everything she has published (followed her website like a checklist).
