I really liked Phoenix, Cooper, Sugar and the whole crew. Can't wait to hear more from Cooper's Charm. Phoenix has been hiding from life for a little while. Now it is time to get on with her life and that is why she came to Cooper's Charm. She hopes to restart her life. When she goes for her job interview, she expects to find a nice little old man and instead she gets a really big, good looking man. She has to get over her fear of big men sometime, right? Coop did a background check on Phoenix and knows what she has been dealing with and it brings out his protective instincts. After losing his wife to violence, he has had a hard time coming back to life. He and Phoenix seem to be kindred spirits. Coop will do anything to protect Phoenix from someone who seems to be targeting her and Phoenix is a lot stronger than she realizes. Add in Phoenix's sister, the other people who work for Coop and you have quite and adventure.

Coopers charm was probably my favorite book that I have read this year. My husband and I dream of owning an RV /Campground so this story was one can relate to. If something happened to my husband I could totally see myself doing something like Cooper did and moving to the middle of nowhere to get away but still make a living.

I loved how easy Cooper picked up on Phoenix’s cues and how he held himself back to not scare her or push her to hard. I like Phoenix, her story is something too many woman can relate to and she reacted like a true person and not a made up character. I’m still not sure why the followed her but to me that was a moot point in the story.

I wish that her sister, Ridley had her own story instead of mixing with Cooper and Phoenix but it worked out in the end.

Overall, I loved this book and it was a fast read with a lot of emotions.

Phoenix is rebuilding her life after a traumatic experience that turned her life upside down. She is finally finding some confidence to step back into the world. Cooper Charm is a beautiful retreat that is in desperate need for a landscaper and other workers. Cooper the owner and her boss is also damaged and they have an undeniable chemistry that can start a fire. The story has so many enjoyable characters that you don’t want it to end especially when her older sister Ridley shows up to check up on her. That’s when the a second romance takes form with Baxter the scuba diving instructor. Their story is so enjoyable I couldn’t help but smile especially when she decides to take on the job of housekeeper. I really hope there is more to Cooper Charm. I loved the cast of characters I could see this being a movie. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book

Cooper’s Charm is a heartfelt, entertaining tale about accepting the things you cannot change, letting go of the past, rediscovering one’s self, taking chances, moving on, and the special, selfless bonds between sisters.

The prose is clear and smooth. The characters are hardworking, charismatic, and dependable. The setting is an idyllic summer retreat, complete with cabins, tents, sun, and sand. And the plot, which drags just slightly in the middle, is an engaging tale with a dash of mystery that’s full of friendship, family, light drama, witty banter, shameless flirting, sexy innuendoes, smoking chemistry, and new beginnings.

Cooper’s Charm, overall, is a charming, uplifting, funny start to the Love at the Resort series by Foster that has a unique, quirky cast of characters, including the adorable beagle, Sugar that I can’t wait to read more about.

This book is as charming as it’s name indicates. I’ve never read a LF book I didn’t love, and this one is no different in that way. It is a different type however; being less action packed, big bad alpha to the rescue type. This one is more real life … and one I related to on several levels.

Cooper is a doll. He’s a widow and is just doing his best to go about life. Phonenix is a strong, independent woman, that needs a safe place to land after an event has her questioning herself. That’s when she finds Cooper’s Charm.

This is the type of story that once finished, you will bring the book tightly to your chest, and sigh with a big smile. Looking forward to coming back to Cooper’s Charm campground in the future!

Absolutely loved this and am happy to leave this honest review of the ARC I received.

I devoured this book! Lori Foster always delivers the goods! And let me tell you, Cooper's Charm is full of all the feels!
Phoenix captured my heart with her determination and spunk. I love a strong heroine and this woman is the definition of fight for what you want.
Cooper broke my heart a little with his story.
Together Cooper and Phoenix were smoking hot.
This book has it all.
I enjoyed the secondary story too. Baxter and Ridley made me giggle. And don't even get me started on the critter, can anyone say Awwww.
There's heat, intrigue, a bit of a twist and giggles to be had inside the pages of this book.
Don't miss out on the beginning of what I'm sure is going to be a great series!
Thank you Lori Foster for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Cooper's Charm by Lori Foster is about second chances. Friendships, fresh starts, and a bit of romance can be found on the pages. The story is sweet, steady-sometimes slow, and engaging. I felt it tug my heart in some places. Other spots in the book dragged a little. It felt like there were more details than was needed. The main female character seemed sad and distant. Her new job was just the thing to stir up her life. It like she came back to the living. Cooper, her boss, was real likable. He had this way of dragging me further into the plot. Charming, hard-working, and kind, Cooper was a great character to follow. Overall, it was a good story about letting go of the past and moving forward.

I loved Cooper's Charm and all the broken souls looking to be mended in a lovely little campground called Cooper's Charm. Phoenix comes to Cooper's Charm to work hoping to get over a traumatic incident in her past. She finds another broken soul in her boss Cooper who also came to own the place after trying to start over after losing his wife. The two are attracted to each other, but can they have a future? Especially when it seems that Phoenix is in trouble again?

I love these character's their back stories and their interaction with each other. I also love all of the secondary character's. I enjoyed how it weaves her sister Riley's story within Phoenix and Cooper's story. I hope there are future books in this series and that we can see more of this quirky bunch.

As usual Lori hasn't written another great, romantic story filled with normal every day things that make the main characters have to work to keep it together. Nothing too extreme but it kept me glued to the pages.
Both Pheonix and her sister were wonderfully written. With quirks that only sisters or very close friends have and understand. They have each others backs at a moments notice.
Cooper was amazing as well. That man would make anyone proud to call him theirs. His patience and unending support of Pheonix was well done.
The fact that both sisters were able to find love at the same time with two men who are truly worth it and as a bonus hot as all get out, is inspiring.
A MUST read.

This was one of my favorite summer reads. I just loved it. COOPER’S CHARM is about two sisters and has one main love story with a secondary love story. The characters were great, the romance was hot, the story was engaging and it had just the right amount of mystery. I wanted to visit this resort with my pup for a vacation. I highly recommend this book for romance lovers looking for a new contemporary romance series with a little mystery.

Cooper's Charm is the first book from the Love at the Resort series. It is, also, my first introduction to Lori Foster's work. I loved the main characters of Phoenix and Cooper. What an amazing book. Lori foster did it again. Such a great story about 2 sisters who find the perfect place to heal. I love the way Lori find the balance between romance and danger and it never seems forced. Both sisters have different stories and situations and one follows the other to Coopers Charm, where they both find jobs and friends and love. There is all the elements of an amazing story. You fall in love with the location and the characters. You won’t be able to put this book down!

Two sisters and a chance to start over….. Isn’t that what we all need sometimes? To read about it, to go along the journey of self-discovery with two characters you grow to love, and to experience it is all a part of Lori’s new novel. Phoenix had it all, a happy existence, when it all goes wrong. She then decides to take on a job at the lakeside resort of Cooper’s Charm. While in this quaint town she enlists her sister, Ridley, to also take on a job at the resort after her brutal divorce.
Lori, being one of my favorites that she is, can spin a tale of love, loss and connecting with others in a way that no one else can. This quick, great for summer tale, is another one you will surely love yourself. The alpha males that these two sisters meet will have you thinking of your own alpha or wishing one of these were your book boyfriends. The banter, the comradery, friendship and charm will have you reading this one again and again! I definitely recommend it and it’s made its way to my top ten of Lori’s novels!

I got the ARC of this book for being on Lori's Street team. I finished this book on the plane ride back from RAGT18, the reader author convention hosted by Lori. I am sure meeting Ms Foster had no impact on this review :) .
I really loved this book because all the characters were so real, everybody had a story and were working towards overcoming them. The love and support between the sisters. I do believe there are more good people in this world inspite of the what the news shows and this book confirmed that faith. Don't get me wrong I love me some Karen Rose and true crime podcasts but once in awhile you need a good story and this book was it.
Cooper and Phoenix were lovable and honest with each other, He fell for her a little to quickly which usually doesn't work for me but it wasn't a big no no here because maybe he had read about her struggles. All the secondary characters were flawed but real including the ex-husband.

In Cooper's Charm (Love at the Resort #1) by Lori Foster we are introduced to a variety of characters whom I hope to be able to follow for many books to come. Phoenix Rose had her world shattered by an unforgivable incident and when she finally decides to move on she takes a job at Cooper’s Charm, a lakeside resort. When Phoenix’s sister comes to visit she ends up extending her stay while she recovers from a horrible divorce.

What neither of them realize is that Cooper’s Charm is full of wonderful people – from Cooper (owner) to Baxter (scuba instructor) to Daron (the flirty and downright hysterical “knucklehead” of the group). All of them would do anything to protect their family – and that is what Phoenix and Ridley have become.

There is great banter between the sisters and an easy flow with all the interactions of the characters – Cooper’s Charm was a fun read and I can’t wait to see what comes next for the group.

I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest review.

This was a sexy, fun story about Peony and her sister Rose. Both are traumatized for different reasons. Peony wants to get away from her life so she takes a job as head groundskeeper for a resort named Coopers Charm. Rose decides to follow Peony, because she is worried about her. Because she is bored and wants to help, Rose ends up becoming the housekeeper for the cabins.
In addition, there are problems. Someone is targeting the resort for vandalism. Or are they threatening Peony?
The laid-back setting of the lake resort works its magic on them and Rose & Peony fall in love.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and look forward to the next in the series.

COOPERS CHARM by Lori Foster
This is really two stories in one of two sisters, their love, pain/heartache, and how they both learn to move on with their lives. Part love story, part mystery. Blended perfectly to keep you wanting figure out all the ups, downs and in-betweens. Love the characters you can really picture each one even the “extras” in the day to day activities. Can’t wait to see if there is more to come from the others at Coopers Charm.

Phoenix is hurting and is trying to regain her inner strength and push past her fears. To do so she leaves everything (including her sister) to start fresh. Cooper is her new boss/land-lord and has his own past to lay to rest, but he is further in the healing process and is able to help Phoenix. They both learn that there is a certain type of strength in weakness.

Ridley is the older sister who keeps trying to protect Phoenix and shelter her. She sometimes gets upset that she can’t always do that. She has her own insecurities, somewhat hidden or at least that’s what she wants everyone to think. That is until Baxter walks in and demolishes every last wall she thought she had so carefully built.

This is such a sweet story from Lori Foster, where we are treated to 2 romances. Phoenix Rose left her town after being attacked & robbed & went to Cooper's Charm to work with on their landscaping. She is healing slowly but the scenery & great work ethics of her co-workers & boss help. She develops a relationship with her widowed boss & they help heal each other. Meanwhile Phoenix's sister Ridley, dealing with a bitter divorce moves to Cooper's Charm to check on her sister. While there she works for them as a housekeeper & takes pride on doing a great job and develops feelings for the resort's scuba instructor. I can't wait to head back to Cooper's Charm again.

Cooper's Charm is a great summer read for readers who love Foster's Buckhorn series and Guthrie Brothers series. While not as gritty as the Edge of Honor series, Foster doesn't forget her trademarks. Cooper is a strong hero who can be a guy without being a jerk. Phoenix is vulnerable yet strong. Their lives are not perfect and that is what keeps me coming back to Foster. She provides the HEA with a degree of reality. Settle in and enjoy an afternoon spent with an endearing couple, cute animals, and neighbors who take care of each other, even while being nosy. We start out meeting Phoenix Rose. Who is she? Where do we find her? Why? Where is this place located and what does she find out about it in the morning? Who is Cooper? What happens during his meeting with Phoenix? Who is Ridley? When Phoenix keeps telling Ridley she will go back to visit soon, what ends up happening? Odd things keep happening at Cooper's Charm, maing this story as much a second-chance romance as a mystery. I was shocked by certain things that transpired in this story, sad for others, and happy with everything else. i have to say that I truly fell in love with Sugar and her soulful brown eyes. Enjoy the book!

I love that this story takes place in a charming little RV Park. The employees are like family and there are plenty of alpha males to keep things interesting. I really enjoyed Phoenix and Cooper's sweet relationship as they worked to overcome their pasts.

As an added bonus, Cooper's Charm also includes the love story of Phoenix's fun & flirty sister, Ridley. Once I started it I could not put it down until I was finished. This story is about a 25 year old woman named Phoenix who has had a hard time 6 months ago. She is looking for a fresh start at her new job working as the grounds person at Cooper's Charm. Her boss is Cooper. From the first time they meet there is an instant attraction. They try fighting it at first but that gets them nowhere. You find out along the way what happened to Copper's wife and what happened to Phoenix to make them who they are. You will instantly fall in love with the workers at Cooper's Charm. When Ridley, Phoenix's sister comes to visit she adds a bit of comic relief for everyone there along with another romance added to the mix. Cooper and Phoenix save a sweet dog from being abused by three men by a creek and they take it in. She ends up being a lifesaver in the story several times. This is another great summer read by Lori Foster!

I loved the setting for Cooper's Charm. What better place to heal than a RV/Cabin resort. Seems the several characters are doing just that. Phoenix Rose and Ridley Rose are sisters who are fun to listen to and watch as they find something that has been missing from their lives. There is romance, drama and danger in this fun and interesting plot. The dialog keeps the story moving and the wide cast of characters adds to the fun. This is book one in Love at the Resort. Phoenix and Ridley found their HEA at Coopers's Charm and I saw plenty of interesting side characters needing the same. Great start to a new series.

While i found this book entertaining, and would still recommend for lovers of Lori Foster, to me the book focused on the wrong couple. The reason I even gave this story four stars instead of three was because I loved the story line of the secondary couple, Ridley and Baxter. Had those two been the main focus of the book, I would have loved to give this 5 stars or more. However, the story between Phoenix and Cooper still had a bit of charm to it, but it wasn't a story line of Lori's that I enjoyed as much as some of her others. That being said, I still enjoyed this book, even if it did take me a little longer to read than normal. I received an ARC for an honest review.

This story took me through a myriad of emotions. The interaction between Cooper and Phoenix kept me flipping pages. Cooper was strong yet gentle; the perfect combination to help Phoenix recover from a troubled past and realize that she is stronger than she thought when being strong is the only option. Once again, Lori Foster has crafted a story that is filled to the very last page with characters that you want to know and that you care what happens to them.

Cooper’s Charm by Lori Foster is a fun summer read. Her storytelling made the park very realistic and I wanted to pack up my family for an impromptu vacation. I was rooting for Phoenix and Cooper from the get go. The sisterly love between Phoenix and Ridley was evident throughout the story, and I was so happy to see Ridley get her HEA. Cannot recommend this book enough. Definitely a Lori Foster must read. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

One of my favorite things about Lori Foster’s books is her ability to tell a sweet story with sweet characters. Cooper’s Charm is definitely not lacking in that sweetness.

I knew from the title alone that I was in for a classic romance story with a happy ending. The characters are pure and completely lacking in malice. They each either have issues in their background to work through or events that have shaped their personalities.

We get two books in one with Coopers Charm as we get to follow the stories of two sisters who arrive in Cooper’s Charm looking for a new beginning. Phoenix is first to arrive and begins working as a landscaper after a violent incident in her past caused her to rethink her life. Ridley follows her sister because she wants to make sure that she is okay and ends up staying.

I liked this book because it was a refreshing change from the other books where the characters hide their intentions from each other and you are left in a state of anticipation as to when the misunderstanding will be cleared up so that they get can together already.

Overall I recommend this book and I think that it is a nice, light summer read.

Another awesome read from Lori starting on page one... Cooper’s Charm is a hot and steamy summer read to the end. Cooper, Baxter & Daron ensure Cooper’s Charm is where every red-blooded woman would love to go to play & basque in the scenery of these hot men! Hot chemistry flies off the pages in this book with the main characters Cooper & Phoenix as well as Baxter & Ridley... who help put extra sizzle and pop into the heat of this book! Can’t wait to enjoy more heat from the characters of Cooper’s Charm, a smoking hot place!!!

Another winner from Lori Foster. I love her books. This is the story of Phoenix and Cooper. She's looking for a new start after a traumatic experience and he has issues from his past also. They meet at Cooper's Charm when she applies for a landscaping job. A great story with great main and secondary characters and the usual HEA. It's a story of second chances and rebuilding. I've been a fan of Lori Foster for years, and I'm happy that she is still evolving as an author. She writes characters that you'd love to have as friends and immersive settings that you'd love to visit.
Cooper's Charm offers the reader a summer vacation on a lake with family and friends, that is ultimately a love story when two sisters find their perfect men.

This is the first book in the new “The Summer Resort” series and it looks like another HIT!

I generally love Lori Foster. One of my favorite romance series is the Buckhorn Brothers Series. I started this book with very high expectations, maybe that was my problem. I had a tough time liking, let alone loving these characters. I generally love a good romance about overcoming the past to find the HEA, but I found manipulation, calculation, low grade angst. Every character was on the lookout and planning how to use another character to get what they wanted. Not in an evil way, but in an "I want what I want" way. We get two romances and I liked that aspect. The characters were all beautiful and wonderful people and they get their HEA, of course. You get a touch of mystery thrown in too, which I really liked.

Phoenix Rose was the victim of a robbery and beating that left her a shell of the successful, confident woman she was. After six months of, basically, hiding out, she is on a mission to reclaim life as she once knew it.

Cooper Cochran owns a lakeside resort, Cooper's Charm. His wife died five years ago and he has been struggling to put his life and emotions back together ever since. When he meets Phoenix, he knows his life is about to change.

While visiting Cooper’s Charm to see her little sister, Ridley Rose decides she likes what she sees, a beautiful resort and a super hot diving instructor, Baxter, and decides to stay. When her ex-husband dumped her, she left with several of his millions and a broken heart. She is all about keeping her heart safe, until she crosses paths with Baxter.

Phoenix and Ridley both came to Cooper’s Charm as a means to an end, but they both have found that the their journey just might end there.

This is the first book that I’ve read by Lori Foster, but it definitely won’t be the last. I was introduced to Lori through Brenda Novak and her online book group, where Cooper’s Charm is the August book group read. Full of suspense, love, humor, and a rescued pup, all bases are covered in this story.

Lori Foster writes a great book. You step right in to Coopers Charm RV Park and Resort. Feels like you can see the places Phoenix sees. There is Humor, Suspense, Romance, Friendships and Healing in this book. The story is fabulous. Cooper and Phoenix are a good team. Her high maintenance sister is Ridley is a riot. There are so many strong characters in this book that there could be many spin offs to new books. This is definitely a story to read and I am looking forward to reading more books at Coopers Charm RV Park. I received and ARC copy of this book for an honest review

I found this first book in the series to be entertaining, but maybe not as strong as some of the other works that I have read by Ms Foster.

The community of Cooper’s Charm is unique and fun to get to know. I also enjoyed the Rose sisters and their love interests immensely.

Ms Foster typically does a fantastic job of blending intrigue into her romantic stories. This book made the effort and gets credit for a satisfying conclusion, but I didn’t quite feel the tension in getting to that point or even really understand the motivation for the final villian. It felt like there were several opportunities that were left unexplored that might have made for a stronger story.

I also struggle a little bit with the fact that we get romances for both sisters in one book. I felt like by combining them, both stories were a bit short changed. Both couples come to the table with enough baggage that it felt like short cuts were taken to resolve some of the issues. Baxter’s (the romantic lead for Ridley) conflict especially seemed to be a bit anticlimactic once it was explained. Not the issue itself, but his response to it.

In terms of writing quality, community development, etc this is what I would expect from a Lori Foster book. I was entertained and enjoyed myself, but had a few things that I wish were a little stronger. If you are a Foster fan, I think you will enjoy this book. I am intrigued to see where she goes with this series and the other community members of Cooper’s Charm.

Cooper's Charm RV Park seems to the place for people with troubles to go to start over. Cooper and Phoenix both have troubled pasts, but can't seem to steer clear of each other, but Phoenix does try. It doesn't work out though because the chemistry between them is off the charts and with Cooper's patience and gentleness, Phoenix comes into her own. The secondary story between Ridley and Baxter was hilarious. Those two and Daron and Maris made me laugh throughout the book. All in all, a really good read from Lori Foster. This was my first Lori Foster read, so I was not sure what to expect. Do not let this cover fool you, this story is filled with steamy romance and a lot of angst. I also love that this follows two sisters as they learn to trust again, face their pasts, and move on from different tragedies. I also love the connection between Cooper and Phoenix and how they connect over a similar past. My heart was torn for them both as you learn more about what happened with each of them.

This is a romance, but it has a small amount of suspense as well. You will wonder what happened to all of the characters and want to see how it unravels. You know the story is going to come full circle, and I kept waiting for it to happen.

As I mentioned, this is also a steamy romance. There is lots of attraction and sexual encounters.

Overall, I really enjoyed the plot and characters in Cooper’s Charm.

If someone is searching for a 'how-to' sex book masquerading as a novel, this is it! Cooper's Charm is very Danielle Steel-

So glad I used my Audible credit on this book! I've never been disappointed by a Lori Foster book, but I liked the lighter mood set by the cover and the dog on it. In true Foster fashion, there was lots of mystery, romance, sexy times, danger and family thrown together to create a story I'm sure I will listen to again (and I don't usually do that!).
Phoenix and Cooper were just meant for each other. Each had something painful in their past and being together helped assuage the ache and help them get past the traumas together. Ridley Rose, who was Phoenix's sister , was a bit of a surprise. She was a rather complicated character who scored the second romance in the book. I loved both of them! I loved Cooper most of all--protective guys certainly do it for me.
The narration by Erin Bennett was fantastic!
Definitely 5 stars and well worth reading!

Phoenix needs to get away from her old life and has applied for a job at Cooper's Charm hoping it will be the fit she is looking for. You see while at work late one night she was attacked by two masked men and she hasn't been the same since. Realizing that she needs to make a change and needing to regain a semblance of who she was has her picking up and moving. When she arrives at her destination and meets her new boss she isn't sure if she'll be able to handle it or not, you see Coop is a very large and intimidating man. When Coop meets Phoenix he sees the hurt and lost soul that she is and wants to help her recover from her ordeal. The question is will she let him. Coop himself understands loss of self and the pain that comes with it because he is also dealing with a huge setback in his life. His wife, who was pregnant at the time, was killed and it has changed him in so many ways. Follow along as Phoenix and Coop dance around each other and the attraction they feel, will they both find they have been searching for. What an absolutely charming read this was, it took me on an emotional ride that I was happy to take. I laughed, I cried, and I feel in love with these wonderful characters.

How does one go on when they are faced with adversity? Cooper is a man who uprooted his life to start over after the tragic loss of his wife. Phoenix winds up in Cooper’s Charm after being subjected to a horrific burglary and needing to find herself again. They are drawn to each other by an emotional force greater than themselves. Can they help to heal the wounds of the past together? Adding to the storyline are the inclusion of some wonderful secondary characters: Ridley, Phoenix’s older sister, Baxter, the devilishly sexy scuba instructor, Devon, the handsome and young handyman who can “fix” anything and not to be outdone but the cute little rescued beagle, named Sugar, will just make you melt. Lori Foster creates a slow build with regards to the romances that are blossoming in this story but when they finally connect, fireworks and steamy scenes abound. This is just one feel good story that will give any reader warm fuzzies and will inspire him or her to take a trip to visit this magical place where everyone is just like your family. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

This was such a charming story and a quick read for me which was surprising since it is not a short story. Phoenix (love the name) has a tragic background with assault and PTSD and she has come to Cooper's Charm for a job and to get on with her life. After several months she has finally decided she has had enough of hiding out in motel rooms and emerges to take back her life. Meeting Cooper Cochran, the owner, is surprising since he is so big and could be intimidating but he immediately gives her a feeling of safety. After being on the job for a few weeks her sister, Ridley follows her to the resort and she is a hoot. Ridley has her own demons but she is a firecracker. The characters in this story are all well written and intriguing. There is love and suspense and overall a very good story that kept me turning the pages. Both sisters come to Cooper's Charm looking for a place to stay and they find a place to live and love. I definitely recommend this one! This is the start of a new series and I cannot wait to see where this series goes next!!!!

This book is mostly about Cooper and Phoenix with a side story of her sister, Ridley, and Baxter.

Phoenix has recently taken a job from Cooper to be his head person over all things yard (I’m not sure of the actual title). She has been through a lot over the past 6 months and is leery of men. Cooper knows this and it’s partly why he hires her. Fast forward some and these two become friends and lovers.
Ridley moves here to be close to her sister since she worries about her. Doesn’t hurt that she is insanely attracted to Baxter.

Phoenix Rose takes a job as a groundskeeper at Cooper’s Charm to try to regain her life after a terrible incident. She quickly falls for the owner, Cooper who was getting over his broken heart. Ridley, Phoenix’s sassy sister comes to stay in order to be close to her and ends up falling for Baxter, the scuba instructor. I loved this book!!! It was funny, suspenseful and romantic. Phoenix and Ridley are sisters with a genuine refreshing sisterly bond. Both have had some drama. They find themselves at Coopers Charm. Phoenix is looking for a place to heal and get back what she lost. You can't help but to be drawn to the instant chemistry between Cooper and Phoenix. Cooper is healing from his own loss. He is protective, caring and sinfully sexy! These two could not be more perfect for one another.
Ridley comes to visit and turns Baxter's world upside down. Ridley is sassy and Baxter is quick to learn that its her defense mechanism. He is patient and sees something in Ridley that is worth fighting for. Two heart warming love stories.

Her sister shows up and then she has someone else she can look after her. Then the whole crew starts noticing there feeling for each other and they look out for her when they see things happening. Everyone is a close and protecting the females more so when the boss says to watch out and never let her alone. Then accident after accident they think that all until something bad happens then it becomes serious. She moves in with Cooper when he fines things wrong with her her cabin. I don't know that I can say much more than others have about Cooper's Charm. To say it is a wonderful story seems...small. I love Lori Foster's books -- always have -- and this time was no different. It arrived via the postal service and I would normally put it in a TBR pile. This time, I was driven to read it because I enjoyed the "preview' of the book I read online, I knew I would love the characters, and of course, the puppy on the cover.

I loved Cooper and Phoenix...and Sugar, of course. Both these characters are strong, working thru horrific events in their pasts, but you can tell from the start that they are meant for one another. They just have to figure that out! And the "secondary" romance between Ridley (Phoenix's sister) and Baxter, the scuba instructor at the resort, is at times, hilarious. Ridley has attitude to the max and it is usually aimed at Baxter. Don't go soft towards him; he can take it AND dish it out and it is that interaction that will make you laugh.

So very happy I read this story! A wonderful book that made me sigh and smile.
