I got the first three in this series for free which is why I got them and strarted to read. I got hooked on the story and now I have to have the other books, 4 - 8, but can't get them right now because money situations are too tight right now. I will get them eventually but I'm going nuts right wanting to read them.

Great, fast-paced story with an engaging plot and believable characters. Can't wait to read more about their adventures. Especially what is behind the abduction of Alisa's daughter by the Starseers?

I enjoyed this trilogy. The characters were entertaining and the story interesting. I like the how the different personalities interacted. There was a good mix of action, intrigue, and drama to hold my attention.

Spaceship fiction in a textured, believable, and complex universe! Fun dialog between characters destined to become our favorites! Mysteries abound, and plenty of loose ends for a lifetime of reading! Don't stop! I want more!

Great character development and fun storyline. Would give it 5 stars but sometimes got frustrating with all the secrets and details withheld. Hard problem since that's a good way to keep readers interested and keep the story going.

A fighter pilot, an enemy cyborg, a questionable doctor, a soldier wanted by the mafia and an herbalist chicken owner find themselves stuck together on one of the few working spaceships taking passengers off planet. The trouble starts the moment they lift off.

Great fun!

Lindsay Buroker's "The Fallen Empire Omnibus (Books 1-3 and prequel)" is a collection of the first five stories in her "Fallen Empire" series:

0.5. Last Command (I rate it at 2 stars out of 5)
1. Star Nomad: Fallen Empire, Book 1 (I rate it at 3-1/2 stars out of 5)
2. Honor's Flight: Fallen Empire, Book 2 (I rate it at 3 stars out of 5)
2.5. Starfall Station (I rate it at 3 stars out of 5)
3. Starseers: Fallen Empire, Book 3 (I rate it at 2-1/2 stars out of 5)

The short story (supposedly a novella) prequel, "Last Command," and short interim story, "Starfall Station" are both unavailable separately. I'm not sure if they're included solely as part of this omnibus or if they come bundled with the individual full novels. Ignoring the prequel, in general, the series starts out fairly good and then tapers off to something less than OK. The prequel is not very good at all. In general, again, all the books are fast-paced and show that Buroker has good technical writing skills. But, unfortunately, they all suffer from several issues:

- Nothing ever gets resolved. Between the start of each book and its end, there's a lot of action, but there's no progress toward any of the proclaimed goals. It looks to me like Buroker is just churning out these formulaic books as a means of making money instead of any desire to tell a good story.
- Except for the prequel (where she's missing), the main protagonist, Alisa, is constantly thinking and saying sexual innuendos about another character (essentially, her co-protagonist). This gets pretty bad by the last book.
- The protagonist is constantly flapping her lips saying glib, "humorous," things even in the midst of pitched battles for their lives.
- And, even though I've listed the fast pace as a positive, it's achieved through constant ridiculous and impossible battles where they succeed via ridiculous and impossible means.

If I average out my ratings for all five stories and truncate, I get an overall rating of a Pretty Bad 2 stars out of 5 for this omnibus. If I round up, instead, that turns into an OK 3 stars out of 5. Because the negatives keep building as the stories progress, I'm going with the lower score. But, if you like "bodice ripper," Romance-type books, maybe the higher rating would be more appropriate to you. Regardless, I won't be reading any more of this series. And, since I've read a book in another series by her and didn't like it, I won't be reading any more of Lindsay Buroker's books.

Love, love, love this author and series. There is barely a break in the action and it's taken 4 books to ramp up the romance between the heroine and the guys. I'm not sure who I'd choose. Well, yeah, I know. Super Sci Fi, super writing. I love this series!

First, I have to admit a bias. I "discovered" Lyndsay Buroker when I came across her fantastic The Emperor's Edge steampunk series. She's one of three authors (though there have since been plenty more) whose work (which I came across around the same time) convinced me that e-published authors could be as good - and often times better - than the books published by the Big Publishing Houses. So, when I saw she was starting a new series, Fallen Empire, you just know I had to get it. A number of folks have described this as a mix of Star Wars and Firefly. It's indeed true that these stories have a similar "feel", and that if you liked those movies and TV series you'll more than likely love the books in this series. Having said that, Fallen Empire really does have its own distinctive voice. Well written, with a fascinating unique and action filled plot, with fantastic characters that you're bound to get invested in, this is a truly wonderful series. In fact, the only real downside of buying this boxset is that you're bound to get addicted and then want to buy the remainder of the series!

Finally, let's talk numbers. At just under $10 this boxset is $2 less than you'd pay if you bought "Star Nomad" (book 1), "Honor’s Flight" (book 2) and "Starseers" (book 3) separately. I purchased all of these (as noted, they are that addictive) and would've loved to have had that bargain. Then add in the prequel novella "Last Command" (which I think I got from a random Instafreebie offer no longer available - and which I definitely recommend reading before book 1) and the short stories “Saranth Three” and “Starfall Station", both quite good and I don't think available anywhere else anymore, and this collection is, quite frankly, a steal.

Highly recommended.

This entire series is excellent. It has a strong female protagonist with realistic flaws and motivations, snappy dialogue, believable female friendships, riveting action scenes, genetically engineered dinosaurs, and great world-building. I'm excited to see a bundle with the prologue and side stories included. I had to go through the effort of tracking them down individually, so you're lucky you can get them all in one place.

The main characters are well-developed and show strong character growth over the course of the series. Some of the side characters have strong personalities and interesting arcs. A few do not, but they don't detract from the story in any way. In a way, this series feels like watching a great television series that's been edited down from a full season of 22 episodes to 15 essentials. You're getting all of the great story beats, but not every character gets a moment in the spotlight.

It's hard to believe that Buroker self-published this entire series. She has excellent writing skills, and her editor is top-notch. I saw one typo in 8 books. She also does not have problems with pacing or unbelievable arcs the way that many self-published novels do. If a friend had given me this series and not told me it was self-published, I would have thought it came from a traditional publishing house. This was the first series I read on Kindle Unlimited, and it spoiled me for other independently released novels -- they simply don't compare to Buroker's quality.

The Fallen Empire series might not appeal to you if you love hard science-fiction. In a way, it reads almost more like a fantasy story set in space, especially because space wizards show up about halfway through alongside fantasy tropes like The Chosen One and a quest for a magical artifact. Although I rolled my eyes when the series first went in this direction, Buroker does a great job of turning these generic plot points into a great adventure story. Also, the Fallen Empire has a fun, pulpy feel like Star Wars or Firefly, with more emphasis on being awesome than accurate. There are many scenes where bullets are flying over the heads of the protagonists yet they have time for witty exchanges and character development. There is also a smattering of romance -- around the same level as the Princess Bride or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The books stay at a PG-13 level in terms of smut.

Overall, this is an excellent, highly recommended series for anyone who enjoys adventure novels, kick-ass women, and blowing things up in space.

I purchased each of these books separately because of how awesome this series is! Seriously consider grabbing this collection of the first 3 and also the rest of the series - you won't feel cheated! Here are my reviews for each of the books included in this box set:

Star Nomad: 4 stars - I enjoyed this book enough that I signed up for the author's newsletter and got the 2nd one in the series to read. I did find Alisa, the main character, a bit naive for a combat pilot but all in all I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

Honor's Flight: 5 stars - I'm hooked! While the amount of trouble the characters are in seems almost impossible for them to ever be free of...it doesn't matter...I'm in it for the long haul. I'm itching to find out what happens next in these people's lives!

Starseers: 5 stars - Sad that I now have to wait for the 4th book in the series to be written and published! At least I have book 3.5 to look forward to later this summer...

Last Command: 3 stars - This is a nice little story that shows a bit of Leonidas' life at the end of the war. Nothing really unexpected happens, basically what could be gleaned from the previous books is just fleshed out.

I'm pretty sure I've read the other 2 short stories included, but I think they were each in other collected Anthologies, though I may be wrong about that...

Looking at my reviews they are a bit short on fleshing out the stories and why I loved them so much, but I truly did enjoy them and know that I'll be rereading the series again - the mark of books worth purchasing to me...

I thought this series to be completely entertaining so I gave an unusual five stars. Five stars in the online Kindle reading/rating is not to be confused with five stars for such writers as Faulkner, London, Jordan, Stewart, Herbert or Asimov.
The story line was plausible, well executed and continued to develop while still being entertaining.
Character development was good and developed continuously with the story, which was a pleasant experience.
I found the humor, mostly from the main character, Captain Alisa, to be just the right blend of funny with a bit of irreverence.
Looking forward to reading more of the series.

Do you like science-fiction? Fantasy? Great characters? To laugh out loud? Fantastic action? Intelligent dialog? Cliff-hanger moments? Great recipe ideas? Somebody stop me!

These three books were my introduction to Ms. Buroker's work and I haven't stopped reading her stuff since then because she is an engaging writer with lovely wit and a wry sense of humour. Her characters are a joyride of unpredictable fun.
Leonidas, a huge, intimidating mountain of a cyborg who, at first, is cold and standoffish (and let's just say he's got baggage - or in his case, luggage) but reveals himself to be deeply human thanks to the relentless humour assault of Alisa, his employer, eventual love interest and all around smarty pants. Being my intro The Buroker Female Characters, Alisa was a breath of fresh air in all ways. Determined, tough, self-deprecating and funny as heck, she is also able to be vulnerable in a human and intelligent way not a ''Oh no! I fell down while running from the big scary monster'' way.

The depth of character development over a long story arch is a joy to behold. She doesn't just throw it all at you - she unwraps it slowly - like a mental striptease. Letting you see a flash of vulnerability, a hint of darkness and a soupcon... no, make that a dollop, of humour. And this is not reserved for her female protagonist. All her characters are engaging; the good, the bad and the evil. And she isn't afraid to damn or redeem characters - I like that in a girl. Some people deserve to be pushed through a wall sometimes, no? Well o.k. I wouldn't really do it but this is where the healthy catharsis of good writing comes in! Lindsay will punish the bad guys in interesting ways (story permitting) and I will give a little cheer for this fantasy justice in an unjust world. She makes me laugh, think, emote like crazy and when I finish a story I cry, just a little bit, because my relationship with these characters is over... BUT WAIT! No, it isn't, because Ms. Buroker is a generous soul and she will, on occasion, write a little morsel of deliciousness to keep them alive for us, her now devoted horde of abject followers.
TRUST ME, read this, you'll thank me in the morning. Oh, and I'll make the coffee.... wink, wink,...

(I purchased each of these books individually, so this review should be considered a verified purchase)

I'd never read anything by Ms. Buroker before so was curious to see if I would like her style. I did, immensely, and have gone back for more every time I see she has published another SF novel.

The world is very well developed, the scenes are gritty and real, with a strong and believable female protagonist and a conflicted male protagonist. To say the pace is fast is a bit of an understatement - it's engrossing.

If you like M.D. Cooper, David Weber, or Bujold, you will love these books.
I also read thrillers, and would compare these books favorably to Mark Greaney, Brad Thor and Grant Blackwood - with the added bonus of strong female characters.

Honestly, any Star Wars fan will enjoy these immensely. The main characters are Alisa and Leonidas, a former fighter pilot trying to recover her daughter in the aftermath of war and an enhanced soldier who fought for the other side but for whom honor is everything.

Mix in a sect of psychic humans (some on the side of good, some not so much) who, Alisa discovers, have kidnapped her daughter, and you have a wholly satisfying trilogy. I look forward to more from the Fallen Empire.

I had finished what I'd been reading and ran across Star Heroes: 9. It is so unfair to the rest of the writers in that collection to have placed Star Nomad first...because I haven't bothered to read anything else in that set! Once I finished SN I went out and got the FE collection, then within a few weeks the rest of the series and read them all! I usually bring Lindsay in the hot tub (it sux getting old, I need some of Leo's implants!) before going to bed and I've found myself water-logged from spending so much more time in there reading! Then of course I bring her to bed with me and spend another hour or 2 (or 3!) completely absorbed!
This set has it all and leaves you wanting more! The action sequences keep true to form and don't have the superfluous technical drivel about technology that doesn't exist but that some authors insist they are experts on and drone on for chapters about. The 'down time' in the stories continue to keep the reader interested and the humor and banter between the characters brings a depth to them makes you feel like you are voyeur hidden behind an air duct!
I've finished the entire FE series and am on book 5 of another of her adventures! Lindsey is one of the best talents to the sci-fi industry since Anne McCaffrey (yes, I read the D.R.O.P. series as they were published...told you I was old)!
I look forward to immersing myself in the worlds she brings us, her fans, for as long as she shares her talent with us!

I love boxsets! Having read many books by Lindsay Buroker, I was thrilled to see the first three books, plus extra stories, of a series I hadn't yet read available in this format.

The Fallen Empire books display all of the charm and quirky characters that have made this author a favorite of mine. They are fun and easy to read, but not light weight. The world building is fun and the characters show some growth and development. I do have a problem with the description of the system(?) where these stories take place. I cannot tell if this is one solar system with a large number of inhabitable planets, or a localized region of space with a number of different stars and their planetary systems. This is not made at all clear, at least not in the series as far as I have read yet. As Sci Fi, I think that should be a little clearer. But these are obviously not meant to be hard Science Fiction, so I'll let it slide.

The best part of the books is watching two characters who were on opposite sides of a war, and still hold opposing political views, learn to see past those differences to the people they are underneath - each with a strong personal code of honor. I am hoping to get more into Leonidas' background a motivation as I read further into the series.

I read the first book in the Fallen Empire series and loved it so much that I reread it 3 times before I found the next in the series. As a Kindle Unlimited reader I could keep books as long as I wanted, but not forever and I always had to "send" books back when I got new ones. After reading several of the books in the series I decided that I had to own them and thus purchased the first collection of books 1-3 plus the extras.

I love Alisa's character. She is brave, capable, and intelligent. In fact, all of the female characters (whether "good" or "bad") are strong, independent women. (And as an aside from a woman who reads voraciously it is wonderful to read a novel that is not full of descriptions of what people are wearing!) Leonidas is a fascinating hero, strong, honorable, with some underlying mystery and sadness. The interaction between Alisa and Leonidas is electric.

The plots are always entertaining, suspenseful, and with quite a bit of humor thrown in. I especially love the conversations between the characters. The word plays are fantastic and I am deeply appreciative of them.

This boxed set is well worth the price. But beware, it will only serve to whet your appetite to the point where you need to read (and own) all of the author's books.

This is simply a really good space opera. It's not much more complicated than that. The story is very well written, typos are non existent, characters are rich and engaging and the plot is certainly believable in a purely science fiction manner of course. I find the juxtaposition of chaotic freedom vs safe servitude as played out with our leading characters to be particularly fascinating. Yes of course since we have female and male leads there will be romantic tension but what space opera author worth their salt would leave that out? All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this series and I've already purchased the 4th book.

Are you looking for a Star-Wars-esque book with just a little more depth? If so, then Star Nomad will be just what the doctor ordered. It's fast, it's fun, and the heroine is perfect.

Usually, by book two I'm getting heartily sick of an author's world. Instead, I lapped up Honor's Flight, scarfed down the bonus short story (despite not really liking short stories), and opened book three immediately.

This series is such a perfect blend of everything I love. There's the heroine trying to be tough while struggling to save someone she loves. There's a hint of a love story, but not one that overpowers the plot. Then there are grand adventures with a group of disparate people who slowly grow into friends.

Oh, yeah, and space battles and stuff. Whatever. If you have even the slightest inclination toward space opera, this series comes highly recommended.

Book 1 started out good and ended ok and that's where the magic stopped for me. Books 2 and 3 however, I hate to even say it but in more then a few chapters was just down right boring and felt like everthing was just being rewritten from book 1 all over again only maybe change a little something here and change a little something there and I found myself skipping through chapters just to finish each book. I loved the whole idea of the little rag tag bunch that comes together and the quirkiness of some of the conversation at times but I do believe I will not be going on the rest of their voyage.

I have an issue with Lindsay Buroker. She is KILLING my budget. Shhhh. Don't tell my husband. :) I stumbled across this author in a Kindle Unlimited book that had lots of stories by various authors. I was instantly hooked. I have gone on to read the entire Fallen Empire series, as well as the entire Emperor's Edge series. I'm moving on to Dragon's Blood now. But, first, a review of this set. Get it. You won't regret it. I love her style of writing, I love the action, the characters, the wit, the plot. Alisa and Leonidas will get in your head and stay there. They balance each other perfectly. Actually, every character in this series is memorable. I hope this Ms. Buroker continues to write for a long time, and I'll be reading and re-reading (yes, they are THAT good) everything she does.

I read these as individual books, and could hardly wait for the next in series. These are interesting stories with interesting characters. There is plenty of futuristic technology, but brushed over lightly so it does not take over the story line. No bug eyed aliens, but there is enough friction between the human elements without it. Lots of humor too.

If you are new to this series, start here.

This is an entertaining and amusing Sci-fi adventure series. It's lovely to have an intelligent and independent woman as the main character. All the main characters are interesting in their own right and the story well developed, thankfully without the need to resort to sex scenes. It is also refreshing to have the complexities of war and it's aftermath dealt with in an entertaining way. A good read!

I have read all these as separate books, but this is a great deal. Loved the characters and the snarky one-liners between them. Lots of action and good story line. Very little editing problems, which is something that I tend to notice. I would recommend the whole series. Spoilers: The books are cliff hangers until book 8, but I hated putting them down until I finished them all.

Bottom line: Lindsay Buroker always sucks me in with her characters!

These series features a witty, strong female lead with deep maternal instincts and her own weaknesses and several other complex characters with their own personalities and personal demons. The lighthearted and cynical banter between characters really made it a very personal and endearing read. Buroker's created world also exceeded my expectations, as she managed to craft a universe that is futuristic and imaginative, yet simplistic and cohesive enough to avoid the "that can't be possible" paradoxes that often distract me in sci-fi books of this nature.

I recommend this book series to anyone who loves getting lost in a good story that doesn't end after one book!

First off, let me just say that I love Lindsay Buroker's writing. She really is great at her job! I love her character development and her stories take you on a rollicking ride!

The Fallen Empire Collection is no exception to this, either. Lots of great character development and you really grow invested in their adventures. I love the whole idea of cyborgs and space and this book delivers on all things space-y and much more. Many great space battles and there might be a touch of a romance-a-brewing in there as well. Ms. Buroker is quite good at building up a love story. It teases, it titillates and has you turning the pages wanting more.

I have read almost all of Lindsay's other books (I don't even know how many times and I am always finding myself going back to one or another on my kindle) and Fallen Empire is quickly becoming my favorite. I love SciFi and I'm sure I will continue to purchase all of her stories!

I have read and enjoyed most of Linday Buroker’s work, and this series is no exception. While her previous books have straddled the line between steampunk and fantasy, this series takes the adventure to the stars as a fast paced space opera. Like most of her work, it is strongly character driven with an ensemble cast. The stories weave humor expertly into each adventure, with witty dialogue and long running jokes that are sure to make you smile. The plot jumps from one outrageous caper to the next, making for an engaging read that always leaves you ready for the next adventure.

My wife bought the books individually, but we both prefer to buy books in A bundle. It makes it a lot easier to keep track of which book comes next. Fallen empire is a great series, action-packed, fast pace, slowburn romance, unique characters and most importantly fabulous dialogue. In fact this book is so dialogue driven, but I could easily see it as a television show.

While I'm a huge fan of Lindsay Buroker, she really outdid herself with this series, and by the end of this collection you'll agree.

How she's able to take her style of character and plot developmental through so many genres is awe inspiring.

You'll fall in love with all the characters in this series and be moving on to book 4 before you even realize it.

Buy it. Read it. Love it.

This is a highly entertaining series and I'd definitely recommend it! I'm a big fan of Lindsay's Emperors Edge collection and wondered how she'd manage the leap into space based drama, but I have to say I'm impressed and was hooked from the get go.

Whilst the romantic build up between the main protagonists follows a similar formula to that of Amaranthe and Sicarius, it's different enough to set them apart and at no time did I confuse the two series, as can sometimes happen with other authors creating new collections.

The action is original and exciting and not obvious so the books are all real page turners. Full points!

This box set is the first few books of the fallen empire series from Lindsay Buroker, fun banter, improper humor, character that are not teenagers nor behave like them, nothing is resolved easily...
The backdrop of the book is what happen when the freedom fighters won but do not have the infrastructure to take the place of the fallen empire... a team of people from both sides with very different aims, all stranded on a planet needing to flight off... especially one of them as a daughter to find after she was kidnap in the final moment of the war!

This is the first 3 books in an 8 book series. I LOVE this series! The world building is excellent and the characters are all multi-dimensional and complex. The heroine is irreverent and sassy with the funniest comments - I found myself laughing out loud! My favorite parts are the interactions between Alisa and Leonidas and Alisa and Mica. Each book takes you further into the crazy adventure and the Star Nomad collects more and more misfits along the way - each of which has their own agenda. Highly recommended!

As the stories progress the fast pace is always there, you find your eyes are flying across the page to keep up with whats happening. As the stories unfold, you get to know more about each of the characters and it is written in a way that gives depth to each character. You find your waiting to know what happens next in the plot. I would highly recommend this series for anyone that wants a good read.

Love this series! Buroker's characters are wonderful, funny and they have flaws that make them realistic. She develops her characters with background and personality that makes you care about what's happening to them. The heroine of the series is sarcastic and funny which has a tendency to get her in a lot of trouble. The story itself is well built and keeps you fully engaged. Love it!!!!

The war is over. The Alliance won. But now the struggle to get your life pieced back together is just starting.

A recently widowed fighter pilot tries to get to her daughter. She is on another planet. Without money. She has to put up with the ex-enemie if she wants a spaceship back home. He is still on the wanted pictures of the Alliance, she doesnt know what his intentions are and he is not even completley human ...how far can they trust each other?

Its action, fun, romance. I couldnt stop reading and had nights short of sleep..and I had to purchase the books bit by bit...I am so happy I stumbled by Chance over this Series and the author.
Once you start Reading Lindsay Buroker you want to read all her Books and Stories! And then some!

Please excuse my English. I am from Germany. I read the Books in English(there isnt a translation yet, I think). To read English is much easier than to write English. I am pretty sure I messed up some of the times up there and tried to get german say-so's into the English Version, sorry for that.

New to space operas, I found this series amazing. I’m glad I got the collection so I could keep reading without pause. I loved the characters, the romantic undercurrents, and the trials and tribulations of a space freighter captain. Can’t wait for more!

I have read the novels contained in this set, and highly recommend them. The stories have a lot of heart and action, and a high re-readability quotient so I recommend purchasing the set. You'll also get some related novellas that I have not gotten to read.

I enjoyed this series and the 2 main characters. Both are likable; both made me dream and took me with them in their adventures. If there is one problem with these books it is that it's really hard to put them down and actually get some sleep!! Each book builds well on the next and the story evolves with lots of twist and suspense. I actually went on and read the 7 books

Prequel + first 3 books in a series that is a great read - no waiting for the next book (at least first 3).
Like the characters, the pace of the story, the sense of humor and intrigue is not overly complicated.

I came across these books by Lindsay by chance and when I started to read, within minutes I was hooked.

Love it!!!!

I have read many of Lindsay's previous series and loved them. I was so excited to see the science fiction series. I love the snarky dialogue that shows the humorous edge to each character. The stories are fast-paced and hold my attention well. Fallen Empire is a great fun series!

The adventures of Alisa, Leonidas, and their quirky crew have taken me on an exciting journey. As soon as one novel ends, I am on to the next. Addicted much? I'll admit it. Yes, yes, yes! As I wait impatiently for details on the Nomad's next journey, I partake in reading some of Lindsey's alter ego, Ruby Lionsdrake's more steamy stuff. Looking forward to the Fallen Empire's spin-off coming later this month. :)

This sci-fi series is loaded with action, adventure, humor, and a touch of approachable romance. I joined kindle unlimited for the express purpose of exposure to new and upcoming authors, and Lindsey Buroker quickly found her way to the top of my list of favorites. At the end of the day, I think the best endorsement I can give is that I enjoyed this series enough to gift a copy to a friend for her birthday.

I have read nearly everything that Lindsay has published. She writes at a consistently high standard all the time. This series is no exception and I highly recommend you pick up this box set collection as they are a steal at the price. I love how Lindsay develops the characters. They are multi-dimensional, which adds depth and interest to her fabulous stories. Give the Fallen Empire a go.

I'm absolutely obsessed! I cannot get enough of Alisa, Leonidas, Mica, and the rest. Lindsay Buroker has an incredible way of making you feel like you are living the action. I love love love that she can keep me riveted and make me laugh out loud all at the same time. I am starving for more but since I have devoured every book and short story I can find about Alisa and Leonidas I will move on to Buroker's other series. I am looking forward to it!

I have read the stories a few month ago, around christmas. Since I already followed the empires edge I mast say I really raced through the books in about 2 weeks.
As someone mentions before the setting reminds me somewhat of the Firefly TV Show. I likes the long term development of charakters and the dark humor of dialogs.

I very much enjoyed this entire series. There was just enough mystery, just enough romance and just enough snark to make it...FUN! Classic space opera, easy reading and altogether delightful. I highly recommend it.
