I loved this book. Laird is the best most romantic male lead I have read in a while. Reece a strong woman that sometimes gets in the way.

I laughed and cried and drooled over the steamy scenes.

Loved this book.

I enjoyed the plot, but the language was over the top crude. The vulgarity coming out Eli's mouth was too much. The unnecessary sexual language was too force in some places and too predictable in other situations.

I've never read this author. That cover called to me, so I decided to give it a try. It was good. I liked it. I wish there was just a little more something. Depth maybe. Just felt it was missing something. 3 stars.

I loved wet and the follow up. I'm not sure why on earth I held out on reading this one as long as I did. Stacy Kestwick is becoming a favorite of mine. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

I'm just totally flabbergasted. The characters were awesome. I just wanted to see them perform and I couldn't believe him. The whole gamut of emotions were there for me. I would definitely re read this.

I picked Drumline up on a whim and found that I very much enjoyed it. This story had a strong heroine, a sexy hero, and a unique plotline. I would definitely read more from this author in the future.

This was the first book I have read by this author but it definitely won't be the last! Great story, well-developed characters, and excellent writing. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. You won't be disappointed.

And then it lost me. The love interests weren't that strong. Lots of good subplots and I really enjoyed it at times. But then it got hokey and I could have cared less how it ended. I was a disappointment in the end as I say potential and then it fell flat.

I looooove this book. Just like all stacys books I loved it instantly. I really enjoyed it. Even though the topic Of leukemia kinda made me sad. It was still really good. Received this book as a arc for a honest review.

While the story about drummers I'd interesting, and their back stories are too, I'm getting tired of all their crude thoughts and jokes.
SPOILERS..........

I find it hard to believe the hazing being that offensive. Why would any college allow that? The new recruits have to drink excessively and party whether they want to or not. She's ordered to clean the room of a hostile guy?? And do whatever the vets tell them --- even away from practice?? The insta lust is also extremely quick. I wish the author had less libido and more on the drumming.
Another irritating detail is the little sick kid...only eight yrs old, but with the mouth of a raunchy teenager. No eight year old has such mature...and crude...come backs. without his inappropriate remarks, he's appealing enough, and his story gives more depth to the plot.
A little over half way done and I'm getting very tired of the endless sex scenes and constant lewd banter. Such a waste of time. This may end up a DNF if it continues.
Okay. At around 67 %, I'm quitting this absurdly pornographic attempt at a romance. Overkill. Ugh!

This story was everything that I thought it would be and more. I just love the idea of a girl charging into a man's world and taking it by storm. Reese was that girl. She didn't let the guys on the Drumline push her around. She didn't want "any special treatment". She was fierce and determined. Laird is the captain of the Drumline and is taken by her from the beginning. He really is just about the perfect book boyfriend. Given all of the struggles of his past, I felt glad that he found Reese. They were like 2 asteroids in the sky that are destined to collide. I didn't expect all the emotional parts of this book. Eli & Amelia were so lovable and special. My one criticism of this book is that I wanted more! I want more chapters! :)

Outstanding! I absolutely loved this book! Very well-written, an amazing storyline, and a super sexy hero! When Laird and Reese are together, their chemistry is smokin' hot. So much passion... You. Feel. Everything. SO good!

A definite top read of 2017! #drummersbangharder

Really loved this book. Laird had my heart beating to his drum. This was my first book by this author but i will definitely be purchasing her others.

Stacy knows how to keep you addicted AND wanting more. She touched on a very sensitive topic as many people have been affected by Cancer in some form. She did this with respect and i was able to connect with the pain felt by the characters.
I loved Laird and Reese together. They made mistakes and pushed each others buttons but hey got past it and found love. I look forward to maybe seeing Smith again and i think i may have loved him even more than Laird.

'I wanted to know her everything.
I wanted to be her everything.'

It feels like a long time since I’ve had a book by Stacy Kestwick on my Kindle, but I tell you what—Drumline was worth every second of the wait.

You guys, I don’t know how I’m going to make it through this review without succumbing to the need to CRAZY SHOUTY CAPS FANGIRL ALL OVER THE PLACE. Because this book is worthy of all the fangirling, all the shouty caps, all the craziness.

It’s basically PERFECT.

Yes, I said that. Yes, I meant that. Yes, you should read Drumline, and read it sooner than soon. LIKE YESTERDAY SOON. Laird and Reese are such skillfully sketched characters—so real and human, so easy to love, so strong and vulnerable and all those good, great, magical, WONDERFUL things that romance characters should be. Their story absolutely captivated me from the get-go, and I couldn’t sleep for thinking about it.

What would happen next? I needed to know so badly that I resisted responsibility, sleep and—well, not food, because come on, it’s food. Anyway, my point is this: I loved this book to the point of distraction. I felt flooded with emotions as I read; happy and sad and angry and aggrieved and frustrated and turned wayyyyy the hell on. And still I wanted more.

It’s basically ALL THE THINGS.

And yeah, so it’s been a chunk of time since I read (and also devoured) Ms. Kestwick’s Water’s Edge series, and in a book world that moves so quickly it’s hard to keep up, to remember what you love and what you don’t, that’s dangerous. Except there is absolutely, positively NO WAY to forget the way this author writes. The careful use of words, the funny mental exclamations, the references to the topic—to the titular Drumline—and the depth of feeling that is infused in every page.

It’s basically a book I would wait FOREVER to read and a book I will NEVER forget.

“I wasn’t lost.”
“But I was, Reese.” I opened my eyes and searched her face. “I didn’t know where you were, so I was.”

Reese is one tough cookie and I loved her quick her wit, great comebacks and stubborn sass! Wanting one of the few available spots on the coveted all male University Drumline, she's determined that being female isn't going to stop her. Her confidence and strength is amazing and inspirational.

Laird is the snare line captain and he has his sights set on Reese, and for much more than her drumming skills. She doesn't want favouritism from Laird, she just wants to be treated like the other guys and earn her spot on her own, so tries to keep her distance. The only problem is Laird is smoking hot, ridiculously sexy, extremely nice, and is one helluva dirty talker!

I wasn't at all familiar with drumlines, so I found the whole storyline intriguing. I think I always thought they were all band geeks...definitely not the case with Laird. I think this book contains the hottest first kiss scene I've ever read...just wow!

I laughed, got mad, hoped, worried, shed a few tears and was left grinning ear to ear!

The minute I saw the cover and blurb for Drumline by Stacy Kestwick I gasped at the hotness and rushed to find the signup to be able to be part of a book that I just knew I was going to love! And I was right, this book nearly consumed me but not for the reasons you're thinking. While the cover is HAF and the blurb gives you an idea of what this book is about, it's SO MUCH MORE!!!

Reese and Laird are our H/h and there's no doubt the chemistry between them can be denied, but beneath the surface of both of them, there's a life that's not even hinted at and I'm not giving anything away with my review. While Reese is trying be the first female on the Rodner University Drumline, it's not going to be as easy as she thought it would be given her drumming skills.

There are secondary characters in this book, Smith and Marco that have a huge impact on the storyline, along with Eli and Amelia. Let's just say there were times in this book that I wanted to slap a few people upside the head, I bawled like a baby, fanned myself with the heat Laird and Reese generated and I even laughed a few times.

Ms. Kestwick has written a book that at it's very essence is a book that transcends any storyline I've read before, had me so attached to the characters that when they felt pain or joy or happiness I felt it right along with them. This is a book that is a definite MUST READ and you can thank me afterwards because you won't be the same when you turn that last page!

DRUMLINE is a stand-alone romance.

I knew from the moment Stacy Kestwick announced the title that I just had to read this book. I’ve always been a sucker for the drummers, but there is more to it than that. I was on the drumline in college. I wish I could say that I played snare, but I can promise that percussion, as a group, is an entirely different entity from the rest of the band. Then, to top it off, the dedication is “For all the band geeks.” This may be as close as I ever come to having a book dedicated directly to me, but I’ll take it.

Did the story live up to my preconceived hopes and dreams? Surpassed and then some! I loved the surprises, the fights, the many types of love, the misunderstandings, the understanding, the sweetness, and even the honestly portrayed evils of the world. The characters are amazing – each unique and uniquely voiced.

This is the first book I have read from Stacy Kestwick. I hope to read many more from her in the future.

Note: while I was given this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Stacy Kestwick takes it to a whole new level with this book. I have been drooling over it since I saw the cover, so when I got a chance to read it, I was all over it. This book is nothing short of amazing, with all kinds of tingly feels. The book itself sets it self up as every other college romance, until you get reading. That is when Stacy unleashes her inner writing beast.
Laird...oh I know there will be plenty of women claiming him as their book boyfriend. I mean who wouldn't? Tall, built, and can play drums? Yes...please. Here are my panties. The perfect foil for Laird, is Reese, a bad to the bone chick that can hang in a drumline. Yes please. Reese and Laird have some serious chemistry right from the word go. You cannot deny needing to read this book until you hit the end all in one go.
Overall, this book is a 5 star read without a doubt. The writing is crisp, the characters, including the secondary ones, are well developed and nothing is left hanging, which is great. I hate when there are little threads of story lines not all nice and neat. Overall, ya need to read this amazing book. Told in dual POV.

I love it when writers pen ballsy heroines. You know, the ones who face the world head on despite the obstacles thrown their way. I love reading heroines who, rather than fall at the knees of their male counterparts, stand tall and proud. This doesn’t mean they’re without fear. Hell no. Like their readers, they experience insecurities, uncertainty and pain. However, it is the way she responds to these challenges, the way she demands equally regardless of the circumstance which earns my unswerving respect.

And I respect the hell out of Stacy Kestwick. After all, she is the mastermind behind Reece Holland, first female debutante in Rodner University’s all-male snare line. I know, right? Awesome plotline right there. Yeah, it’s safe to say, Drumline blew me away. And can we pause a moment to admire hero, Laird Bronson? Not only is he the perfect mix of alpha and sweetheart, but the guy respects the hell out of his woman because she refuses to accept otherwise. That’s right, he thinks empowerment is sexy. In a world where many leading men belittle the heroines, where they seek pleasure in emotionally tormenting their supposed love, can I just say, halle-freaking-lujah.

Kudos, Stacy Kestwick. You wrote a damn fine book.

Drum line is my first read by Stacy Kestwick and I loved it! It definitely kept my heart pounding!

Laird...on my goodness...I am just going to go ahead and claim his as mine!!
Senior in college and captain of the Drumline. He is determined to have the best year yet. He doesn't bank on a girl trying to join his line. Will she be able to make the cut?

Reese, I loved her instantly. From the very beginning, she is out to prove that she can make the drumline and be just as good, if not better than the other members. Will she be able to handle all the pressure? What happens when feelings develop between her and Laird?

I loved everything about this story from the very beginning. I read it in one sitting and was pretty useless the next day, but it was oh so worth it. he chemistry is steamy! Pretty sure my kindle over heated. This is a must read and I can't wait to read more from this author!!!!

This book caught my eye in a bunch of FB review groups. I have to say it did NOT disappoint. This book was amazing and filled with so many turns that kept me flipping pages. Laird and Reese are both amazing characters. They were strong and weak because of all that they dealt with in life. Strong because their personalities did not allow them to not fight to do their best and achieve their dreams. Weak because they both were dealt troubles in their early years that connected them and brought them together. All the supporting characters in this book helped to make it a great story. They each serve an important purpose in the plot. I loved this book and look forward to reading more from this author!

I received a copy of this book from a Facebook group. I am voluntarily reviewing this with my opinion.

Alright, so how this was my first Stacy Kestwick book, I will NEVER know. I know, shame shame shame on me. Am I the only one that read this book, and wished they could have a do over in college, but have this exact life, only let me be Reese, and holy queso on a cracker let me have a Reese. I wanted to read this based on the blurb alone, and felt like one of those kids stuck in a shopping cart reaching out for the ice cream, but your mom is going in the opposite direction.
You have Reese and Laird (Cool name btw) that have obvious chemistry, but they're clearly a bit stubborn, but at the same time it's a bit amusing, because they're both trying to keep it professional, and you're just sitting there going wait for it.....
Okay, I won't give spoilers, because I hate seeing them in reviews. But seriously. Well done Stacy! I can't wait to read what you have up next, and I look forward to reading more of your work!!

Whoa, what in the sexiness did I just read? Holy crap, this book was one of the absolute hottest New Adult books that's ever graced my kindle. But besides that, it was a great story too, full of emotion and angsty goodness.

When I saw this was a book about band I gotta admit the first thing I thought about was, "This one time, at band camp..." because you know, band is just kinda nerdy (no offense band peeps). But I may have been more inclined to join if I had a captain that looked and acted like Laird, he's uber hot.

I freaking loved this book! This is my first read by this author and I'm jonesing for more. It's fun, it's sexy and left me with a satisfied smile when I flipped the final page. Bring. Me. More.

Laird and Reese are completely smoking hot together!! Their chemistry was through the roof!! I LOVED these characters! You just can’t help but to love them! There’s just something about some young adult books and this one makes you totally swoon, cry, combust, and hurriedly read the pages to find out what is going to happen next.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

Ok so I found this book while playing an interactive chapter book app on my phone. Once I started, I knew I had to read the real book.
Who doesn't love an alpha male with a heart of gold and a strong FMC?!
Wasn't expecting to cry, but the little uno peacock had me coming undone.
Oh and my favorite part....

I let out a fart just for good measure. #dead#golden
