16 Lighthouse Road (A Cedar Cove Novel)

I was reluctant to try Debbie Macomber because I thought her books were just "romance" novels and they've never been a favorite. But my mom and sister love her stories and I've grown tired of my usual genre of mystery and fantasy. This was a lovely story that emphasized day-to-day living. The characters are really engaging and the story is very readable. I've been struggling with insomnia for several months now and this book is a nice to read before bed because it's calming, but I can put it down when it's time to turn off the lights.

I am so excited about having ordered this book, especially in lieu of the series on Hallmark Channel! I have to admit I have not read it yet, but I am looking forward to it! The book arrived as described and in a timely manner. I would highly recommend the seller, I will let you all know about the book once I have read it!

I looked forward to reading this novel to see what happened, but I could almost predict the entire plot of the novel after I read the first 5-10 pages. Characters were likable but fairly predictable. I won't remember I've even read it in a few months.

A good fictionial story that mirrors real life as I know it. I love the way Debbie Macomber writes. easy and interesting read. I'm always a little sad when I finish a book, but so glad when the story continues in another one of her books such as in, "A Cedar Cove Novel".

I really enjoyed this book! The characters and the town all drew me in right from the start. I'm definitely going to read the other books in this series. I can't wait to find out what happens with the characters. It would be great to be able to pack up and move to Cedar Cove!

I had read most of the series before reading this one. Since this is the first of the series it explained many of the characters in the following books. An easy read and makes me want to reread the others. The only thing I could have done without is the mild profanity. I don't remember it in the other books.

This is the second series that you have written that i have listened to. I really wish all your books were audio books, I listen to them at work and there are several of yours i wish I could listen to. I really enjoyed them.

Debbie Macomber is a great writer. I am absolutely addicted to this series. I am sure I will read all of her books. The novels could be about anyone's neighborhood and the characters your neighbors. I highly recommend this series to anyone for an easy and fast read that holds your interest. Go Ms. Macomber!

I have enjoyed Debbie Macomber books for many years now. Her characters sometimes make you feel like crying one second and the next have you absolutely in stitches. She is my favorite romance author of all time. Keep them coming please. Her books are always clean and you don't feel like you have to hide it.

The book describes the little community well and sets the stage for future books. It's like reading several short stories entwined into one book. Happy endings don't always mean the guy gets the girl.

This is the beginning of a wonderful series of Debbie Macomber books. Have read them all and loved them. Wish there was more. Am enjoying her other books too. A great writer for happy endings and uplifting stories with interesting characters.

I enjoyed getting to know these characters and feeling like I lived in Cedar Cove. I especially enjoyed the book because I truly love the Hallmark TV show based on the book series. Can't wait to watch more of the series and read more books coming to us from this little town!
