It was very useful during my lab section. The only problem I had was that I forgot to place the divider or wrote on top of the sheets as I did my calculations, which left many marks behind. In all, it was very useful.

Worked for the purposes of my Physics lab. I bought it used but the carbon copy still worked and transferred okay. Only problem is the dividers should be longer so I could reach the left most margin because I have to cram footnotes or whatever in there at times. This one did not come with all the essential physics/mathematical formulas of my original lab notebook but that a non issue.

This book was the same price as the one at my student bookstore, which isn't so good since the bookstore overcharges on pretty much every item.

The condition was good, the shipping was fast, and I'm satisfied.

Just a quick tip for anyone using one of these, that plastic flap that comes with it is meant to be put under your current Page+Copy Page or else writing will cause all the copy pages in the book to have the first page's contents.

It's a standard lab book, the only issue is the big issue: you cannot tear them out without the fringes. Most other lab notebooks have a tearaway strip like regular notebooks, but this one doesn't - so, you have to cut the fringes off or have a professor that does not care about it.

I used this in every chemistry lab course I took, and there are a ton! This notebook is very helpful! I like the grid lines. Also, the carbon copy feature was nice so that we could hand in our lab notes for a grad while also keeping the originals catalogued in a nice fashion. I highly recommend this notebook for any student!

This held up well though my lab course, and the divider kept marks from showing up on subsequent pages. The paper isn't overly flimsy either, when looking back through it I found some alum crystals that had dried on the page! I hadn't realized I had spilled it! It stays open well so you can take notes without worry.

This lab notebook is sold at the bookstore of my college for $24 dollars. It is much cheaper here on the store, plus, it is a high quality lab notebook. The pages don't feel cheap and the spiral binding makes it very sturdy. This is my favorite lab notebook.

it was a good book. described the way it is except that the seller didnt mention that he or she ripped the periodic table that it has to be puttin behind the carbon paper so it wont be copied to the next page

yup top loader is the way to go. this is the one i want my students to buy. the bottom perforated is hard to grade. selfish of me! yes, but when you have to grade 65 of these suckers, an nice clean sheet is really important

In lab in my school, they make us write up the entire procedure and techniques etc, and many of those take about ten pages. I had the other version of this lab notebook, the one that opens up with no spiral, and it was the biggest pain ever. The spiral makes it easy to fold back the pages so I could comfortably finish writing the procedure. The only reason I give it a four star is because I with the page that protects the other pages was a bit longer because I still manage to get some marks on the pages behind it.

Really great. Since it is spiral bound, you dont have the giant mass of pages you have to flip over the top. That is super nice since that keeps everything very compact. The back cover unfold so that you can put it under the carbon copy so that it doesnt mark the next one. It is pretty much exactly like the ones that are sold at the University of Washington book store.

Used it for several classes now without a problem. I didn't have much of a problem, but if you have a heavy hand when you write you may want to put a piece of cardboard under the carbon copy so it doesn't bleed through. It works well for me, but I don't have a heavy hand.

This notebook does everything that it advertises, however, I believe that it is a bit excessive. In my Bio class, I would much rather have more room per page, then a whole lot of different areas to fill in data about when the experiment was taken, who I did it with, etc. I would much rather just write that on the first page and not have to write it out on every single page.

THIS IS MY FIRST SEMEMSTER DOING LAB NOTES FOR CHEMISTRY AND I USE A LOT OF PAPER FOR EACH LAB. IT IS PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS. IF YOUR TEACHER DOES NOT LIKE THE SPIRAL TORN EDGES USE SCISSORS BECAUSE THESE ARE NOT PRECUT.

Great lab notebook. I needed one for my AP Chemistry class in high school, so I ordered this one and it worked perfectly. Everything is sturdy, it won't fall apart, but it is a little smaller than standard printer paper size, so if you want to store papers in there, plan on the edges being bent. Random opinion: blue ink looks best on the pages. Also, pay close attention to make sure you have the plastic flip page underneath the correct copy page. Sometime the pages can stick together or you can forget altogether. Over all, well worth the money.

They did not send me my notebook in time and I was forced to purchase a new one from the campus bookstore. I tried contacting the post office but they claimed that they did not have the package information available. I would boycott the store as a whole if books weren't so expensive at school. I am now forced to call my credit card company to cancel the payment.

This lab notebook is an excellent buy. The spiral binding makes using it so much easier and more convenient, and the carbon copy sheets are actually simple to remove, with well manufactured perforated strips. Its a bit pricey at first glance, however, it has been well worth the purchase for me (since all student stores in my area only have the glue bound 'flip-book' style that is just terrible).

GOOD BUT IT IS SPIRAL BOUND. THE PICTURE IS INCORRECT. IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE HEAVY TO CARRY AROUND WHEN U HAVE A BUNCH OF TEXTBOOKS, NOTEBOOKS, BASKETBALL, FOOD, WATER, AND BASKETBALL SHOES IN YOUR BACKPACK. BUT OTHER THAN THAT GOOD.

this will do for any chemistry class that has lab. It copies really well what you wrote in the original page into the second carbon copy. Ther is an attached periodic table that serves as a divider, so the things you write don't leaked out to any other pages beside the one carbon copy you want your writing to be duplicated. I really like that the periodic table is attached because I've seen others who have the other kind of lab notebook that has the periodic table torn out and not attached to the lab notebook; making it attached will keep it from being lost.

This "lab notebook" ruined my life. As a requirement for a college course lab science, I was forced to purchase it or fail the class. When I regretfully opened the package up in my bedroom, I found a copy of DJ Khalid's "We the Best" exclusive album inside. Normally, I'd be satisfied with this surprise since DJ Khalid is the greater producer of music of all time, but my wife and kids aren't such fans. When my wife walked into our bedroom and saw the album inside, she questioned why she married me out loud in front of our two beautiful, pathetic children. She then proceeded, over the next few days, to file divorce papers and get a separate lawyer (I haven't stopped balling my pathetic eyes out since). Thank you Hayden-McNeil and the store.

This is the ideal duplicating notebook for all of your upper level chemistry labs, clean pages, a hard fold to put under individual sheets to preserve the carbon paper of the next piece, side perforation. This is also one of the better deals with 100 pages one book should last for 2 semesters of labs.

Works perfectly! Has the carbon copies plus a periodic table and some formulas. Only issue I have is after a semesters worth of use, the cardboard isn’t working as great to prevent you from not forming carbon copies on the next few pages.
