Review:I have used this book in my Biology class twice so far and I love it! One thing that my friends and I found is that you should really read the directins on the first page because if you don't you could mess up the whole book. The major two things is that u need to remember to use pen and to rip out the periodic table to put inbetween the sets of copies so that they don't bleed through. Its really a great tool for school! Review:It was very useful during my lab section. The only problem I had was that I forgot to place the divider or wrote on top of the sheets as I did my calculations, which left many marks behind. In all, it was very useful. Read more
Review:Very informative book on one of the most basic components of home brewing. Provides a great understanding on why certain beers are best when brewed in certain parts of the world and how their water sources make them as good as they can be.
Anyone who has the two previous Brewing Elements books should get this for the set. Read more
Review:I have read Gary's good calories, bad calories, why we get fat, and now the case against sugar and this is my favorite so far, although I love all the ones I have read but this is a book that everyone should read, especially any nutritionists worth their salt. Read more
Review:a powerful, thorough look inside the intricacies of a relationship between two people, their relationship to psychoactive powers within their universe, and nitty gritty details about the nature of politics and philosophy.

Review:I expected it to come damaged or ratty; after all, it is a rented college book. However, it blew expectations completely out of the water. The book was almost completely clean, with nearly no markings inside the book. No water damage, no mold, no ripped or torn pages. Two thumbs up. Read more

Review:excellent book targeted for kids from the age of approx 12 - 99 ! it gives you just enough technical info about the element, some pictures of what the material looks like in its raw form, details of how it was discovered, and some history of the practical uses of the element. i think that this book should be required reading in high school for anyone planning on taking technical curriculum. it also looks great on my coffee table. Review:I like science, and love cooking. So Culinary Reactions : The Everyday Chemistry of Cooking by Simon Quellen Field is very exciting to me. The idea is to explain in clear and easy language how the chemicals in our foods react and behave to create what we eat.
From the liquid nitrogen frozen ice cream in the introduction, to the very end where he explains why salt and ice freeze ice cream and all the information in between, he's managed it very well.
The chapters each cover a specif... Read more
Review:I really enjoyed this book. It has just about everything I look for in a good read, suspense, action, horror,SciFi and a little humor. Its definitely not something I was expecting from a star wars novel but it was a great surprise. I loved how dark the content got as the story progressed. Definitely a great read and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that's a star wars/SciFi horror fan its a great blend. Read more
