I am an avid reader,(mostly not romance novels) and I love this book. For those of us who used to sit around and wait for our knight to rescue us and take us back to his castle to live happily ever after, this is the book for us.

I read this so fast I was disappointed when it ended. Lynn Kurland filled this story with wonderful humor, heart-breaking romance and incredible hope. The mix of 13th century man and ideals with 20th century problems was written very well!

Lynn Kurland has come up with a unique plot: dreamy American female inherits a 13th century castle as well as its handsome "knight-in-shining armor" ghost. Ms Kurland allows her hero ghost to have a sense of humor which he displays by creating illusions so that he can joust or swordplay for exercise, appearing to unsuspecting humans in blue jeans and a Raiders sweatshirt, driving a Jag, or critiquing NFL games he watches on TV. His companion ghosts help enliven the plot. Add attempted kidnapping and murder plus a ghost that gets another chance at life, and you have a book that is hard to put down.

Don't let the cheesey cover turn you. This book is perfection in every sense of the word. The only problem is when you're done, don't even try describing it to your friends. You'll find yourself say, "Just trust me."

Lynn Kurland is an extremely talented author. I have been reading Contemporary and Historical romance for about 7 or 8 years now. My favorite authors have been Jude Deveraux and Julie Garwood. I didn't think anyone else would come close to those two. Then along came Lynn Kurland whose stories are enough to keep me glued to the pages until I am finished. If you haven't picked up one of her books yet, please do. You won't regret it.

Based on my love of This is all I ask, I am making my way through Kurland's stories. This book started out well, but after Kendrick lost his ghost status, the story dragged. I didn't like Genevieve as much as I wanted to. She was child-like and not strong.

A ghost with an attitude! What a perfect plot! I agree with the reader that recomends you not to start it at bed time. You just can't put it down. The heroine is a bit confused, but who wouldn't be in her situation? This book makes you laugh, makes you cry and just feels your heart with such warmth, that you have to keep it and read it again when life becomes too much. It gives hope to everyone. I loved it and recommend it.

Lynn Kurland is a master storyteller comparable in many ways to another favorite novelist, Jude Devereau. I was completely intregued by this plot and the characters. I could not wait to find out how the book ended! I recommend you read this and all Ms. Kurland's other books, they are great!

If you enjoy a good laugh and endearing characters, this is definitely a book to read! Kurland's style is easy to read and filled with witty repartee, with a three-dimensional hero and heroine that are incredibly lovable. Her secondary characters, while not given quite the same treatment, make wonderful additions to the story.
While this is the first book I've read by this author, it certainly will not be the last. I look forward to discovering her other novels, since her first one has already made it to my keeper shelf.

This is a keeper book, I am deffinately one of Lynn Kurland's biggest who own one of every book she's written. This book, holds the only exception, for which I have two should something happen to the first. It's that good! Kendrick is one to fall in love with the moment you meet him. His looks and his attitude, I would not mind having a castle with him inside for me! Keep up the outstanding work Kurland, all of your books are "keepers" on my shelf.

If you like strong men with a thing for airheads, you'll love this book. I hated it. The heroine is a childish nitwit who runs around in footy pajamas and pigtails, and is terrified by the thought of a gorgeous male making love to her. Imagine! Isn't that what women read romance novels for?? The final straw came when the author deprived her audience of the much-much-awaited love scene by (literally) slamming the door in our faces. Kurland CAN write and shows skill with humor. Too bad she picked a preschooler for a heroine.

I couldn't put the book down. I cried. This is the third book of Lynn Kurland's that I have read, and I hope she continue to write such beautiful love stories in the ghostly and time-travel fashion. I can't wait for her to write another book. I have already finished "The Very Thought of You". I loved it!

This was truly a wonderful book. To have the tension mount within myself and released through laughter and then to be drawn back with tears left great anticipation throughout. The book cover is great...shows a mystery and desire in his eyes to draw any reader within. Thanks a million "Lynn"!!!

An interesting premise, a mischievous hero, a witty heroine....what more could a romance fan want in a book? Don't start this book at bedtime, you'll stay up through the night to finish the book. Lynn Kurland manages to include both heart wrenching and laugh out loud moments in her debut novel.

A page turner... you do not want to put the book down...humorous. If you have read the rest her series of the family tree, it is easier to understand the different character's.

Lynn Kurland always puts a smile on my face as I read her books.

Even though this book follows a very predictable overall plot it does not in its everyday details that make it so thrilling. When a ghost is brought back to life after 700 years modern appliances don't come first nature. From the third time you meet Kendrick the ghost you will find yourself saying; "I WANT ONE!!!"

The premise of this book was so promising...but it's so predictable and formulaic, I found it almost annoying. The book alternates between the unbelievable - ghosts that hire lawyers, wear jeans and watch football - and the contrived. The romance is heavy-handed and drippy. Don't bother.

Childishly and poorly written, artificial characters, primitive story line. Huge disappointment. The main character is extremely annoying and virtually impossible to sympathize with (unless you are a 30 years old virgin and tend to get hysterical every time a man attempts to hold your hand).
