I was so excited to read this book after his first book. He has such a knack for storytelling and he's hilarious. His outlook on life is always so funny and at the end of the day he always finds the silver lining. He has a special sense of humor which I share and so do millions of others which I would have never guessed. Once I started reading I didn't put it down. Each story was perfectly hand crafted and artistically put into words. He's had a lot of darkness in his life but he turned it into light for so many others. Some people find him offensive but he's a awesome person and his heart is in the right place.

Read it and loved it. I have loved Shane since I can't even remember, 2007 I believe and he is still so funny and entertaining to me to this day. This book made me laugh out loud so many times as did his last book. The way he describes things is so hilarious and I know that if I were to read this book over and over I would still laugh every time. He was funny to me when I was 13 and still funny to me at 22. Love this book and totally worth it!

i love Shane Dawson and *loved* his first book "I Hate Myselfie" so i was excited to read this one. while it was overall good, i didnt find it to be nearly as good as IHM. i cannot quite put my finger on why, i just know i felt a smidge bored when reading this one.

I love Shane Dawson and when I got his first book, "I Hate Myselfie" I couldn't put it down and this isn't any different! I read the entire thing in one sitting. I truly did laugh and cry and laugh again. He is really such an inspiration.

I have been a huge fan of Shane ever since I was 15, and watching him grow throughout the years was almost like he was growing up with me (that sounded totally creepy and I apologize Shane if you get creeped out. I have that affect on people).

When he came out with his first book, "I Hate Myselfie," I was impressed by him opening up to his fans. This book, however, tops it all off. Shane has so much courage and a lot of the things he talked about in this book made me want to fly over to California and hug him. With his issues on coming to terms with his sexuality and eating disorders while adding a bit of humor to each story, Shane opens up to an audience and introduces a side to him that has not been seen before.

I loved this book so much, and it made me appreciate the doofus known as Shane Dawson even more. ❤️

First I want to say how proud I am of Shane. I have loved everything about Shane Dawson since 2010, when I just accidentally stumbled across one of his early videos. It was a skit and OMG I laughed so hard, I was crying and my stomach hurt. It was so different and it related to a dark twisted part of myself. I loved it!! I stayed up all night watching and looking for everyone of his videos.
I loved his first book "I Hate Myselfie" so much after reading it, I hoped he would write another one. He did not disappoint!! I laughed so hard. My favorite was the story about Mexico. LMAO
I love ya like a fat kid loves cake Shane!! 5 Stars!!

I would recommend this book to anyone who has ever been an underdog, been bullied or felt different than most. I almost feel like he is talking about my own life stories in this book sometimes. There are way to many similarities lol. I remember when I first started watching his YouTube videos in middle school (and still do! I'm almost 24 now yikes!) he definitely has made a lasting impression on me and always has left me with a laugh. Think it would be great to meet him one day and compare childhood stories lol. So if your a longtime fan or have never even heard of him (doubt it) I highly recommend reading this funny, sad, heartwarming, and somewhat scary book! :)

Shane Dawson did it again, he made a book that makes you go through a roller coaster of emotions in every chapter, and that's why I love this.I would 100 %, without a doubt recommend this book to someone.

I have been a huge fan of Shane Dawson for years. This book really gives you more information about his life that he doesn't share in videos. His first book was amazing and this book was just as amazing. You really wouldn't expect such a good read from someone on YouTube. His comedian side really comes out in places you wouldn't expect it to. I would totally recommend this to anyone who knows him or someone who just loves to laugh at someone's suspense.

I seriously LOVED this book. Shane Dawson is so talented and I loved being able to read is life before youtube and some stories as a youtuber. He's an open book, literally. Such a great read and hilarious!

This book was very good. I've been watching Shane for years now, and this book was more open than his last one. This book he opens up about his sexuality and there is even a special chapter that was a great surprise! This book was emotional yet it still had a hint of Shane's dark humour, which I loved. Very good book!

I ordered this book and received it in really good condition as well as perfectly on time. I had actually wanted this book for awhile. If you are considering buying this for an adolescent family member.. I would consider the fact that there is some adult language and some adult content within the text. Not necessarily photographs. But, some on the context and situations you read about can be pretty graphic. But it is a really good read. And i recommend it for anyone at least 16 or over. :)

I thought this book was very well written. It kept me entertained and I formed me about Shane’s life as well. I am already a big fan Shane Dawson and really loved reading more about him and more about his life. I would have maybe liked to read more in depth about the stories but over all I really loved it. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan and who loves comedy.

I absolutely loved this book. I read the first one and knew I had to buy the second one immediately so that's exactly what I did. I don't think I've ever been more proud of how far Shane has come, and how deep and personal he gets with his books.

I love Shane Dawson! I have since I was 14-15 and I'm 22 now. I love how he still keeps his humor in the books and I absolutely love it. It made me laugh, cry and sometimes go "wtf?" Lol I'm addicted to it and I finished it in a day! So proud of you Shane!

I've read both of Shane's books and they just continue to get better. It's impossible to put down. This book will make you feel every emotion. I would recommend to anyone, not even those who know Shane from YouTube.

This probably one of the best books I have ever read. It is really good, I would suggest this book to anyone who likes to laugh a little. "It gets worse" is put together really well. Every chapter is basically a story on a situation in his life.

The book is funny in places, but not as funny as I had hoped. The writing is good, but the right turn of phrase that can make an ordinary point a funny one is lacking in too many places to earn the book a higher rating.

If you are ordering this book for your teen, please be aware the content is extremely mature. There is writing about sexual experiences and self harm. I had no idea until I received it and my eyes popped out of my head. Be warned, not for youth of any kind.

I don't understand all the 5 star reviews. I understand that essays and memoirs are oftentimes exaggerated but this was ridiculous. The dialogue is written in script format. Script. Format. I guess I'm not the target audience (who the hell is his target audience?) but I'm left with a huge what-the-fuck-did-I-just-waste-hours-of-my-time-reading kind of feeling. No, you shouldn't be compared to David Sedaris. Not even close.

Bought it from Target and It was a great buy and it was such a funny book and had some good meaning in some parts. After I read the first essay I couldn't put it down and I'm already half way through it.

Bought it at a bookstore but HILARIOUS! I don't think I've ever laughed so much but related so much at the same time! You find out a lot about Shane and I'm super grateful he shared it with us, could only find this one at the bookstore so deff getting the first one after this!

Okay wow. This book is such an amazing find. I love Shane as it is, so maybe I’m a little bias, but besides that I love the way he writes. He’s such a quirky guy and I loved reading his book. If you’re in middle school or high school and love Shane, I’d definitely buy this book and take a read. It’s amazing.
