Edgar Allan Poe: Complete Tales and Poems

The book itself is wonderful. I have wanted to add it to my Poe collection for some time now, but the major issue was the seller. I had no idea they would use DHL Global mail which took over three weeks to ship. Poe would've preferred a carrier Raven instead. At least that would've made an excellent story. Peace

Honestly, I haven't read it yet. I bought this along with Grimm's, Hans Christian Anderson, and Dorothy Parker. I started with Grimm's. I'm a hospice volunteer and some folks like to hear stories. Being that most are older folks, I thought they would appreciate these stories. I have to say, I didn't read the dimensions when choosing the book... it's HUGE!!! Not super heavy, but very, very thick. One half is short stories, one half is poems.

If you like Poe, this is a fantastic buy. The size of the book is perfect, the print is just the right size, and more than anything it's Poe.
Obviously I'm a fan of his work, I'm totally biased about the content but if you like gothic lit. you should like this.

Poe is a master. Reading them again after years of not brought me a lot of pleasure. This version has small type that makes reading in low light (for mood) very difficult. Anyone who has a hard time with a newspaper will not enjoy this release.
