I’m not a regular mystery reader, but I found this one enjoyable. Not great, but fun and different, a different take on the idea of a psychological thriller. It’s not a thriller, but the main suspect has some psychological issues.

A colorful exciting San Francisco with its never-dull, something always happening around the next corner, as the backdrop and a cockamamie smorgasbord of local and believable characters, The Fog Seller really draws you in with its prose and pace as well as with intrigue and ingenuity. A great read that could very well be made into a play.

I loved every minute of this book. The author created characters so interesting and sympathetic that it's hard to believe they're fictional. Great writing and plot, as well. Just an all-around winner!

After reading other reviews, I though this book would be full of twists and turns. I was not disappointed. But more surprising, was surprising was the connection built to the main character. Not because of how heroic, or complex he is, but because of how frustrating and painful he is... the perfect embodiment of all our self doubts.

The story of Steve and Liam provides an interesting backdrop to a murder investigation. The involvement of the street performers to capture the killer is a bit far fetched but makes for an unique ending to a good story.

What a,joy to find a,story so absorbing and compelling. The main characters voice is so clear and achingly descriptive of his world, and the slow reveal of each detail of his life is exquisitely and deftly placed. Can't wait to read this again.

After the first few pages, I wasn't sure I was going to like it...but, I ended up staying up to finish it. Don't want to leave spoilers, but it was interesting look at handling insecurity, "selling" a feeling, and a good mystery to boot!

I enjoyed the different style of writing. It was refreshing and unique. I liked Liam and his fog vials. If I had been in one of his crowds I would have taken one. Glad Steve persisted and achieved a satisfactory solution for all characters involved in the investigation. Great read!

I loved this book! It has one of the few characters I have ever read about that I can relate to do thank you for writing him! I just don't have a personal version of Liam. Thanks for writing this wonderful book, I'll have to read it again soon.

Nice book. I suppose it's just not my type of genre. It was fun to read something different all the same. Was sometimes confused following story line, that was a touch frustrating...still, glad I read it.

The plot is engaging and original and the voice it is delivered in more so. It has been a long time since i have cheered out loud when a protagonist receives the just reward of a life well led. Thank-you very much, this book has strengthened my faith in people.

If you enjoy lighthearted mysteries with a surprising twist now and then, this book is for you. It’s not profound, and doesn’t pretend to be, but it is an entertaining bit of reading for a rainy day.

Mr. Daglow is an exceptional writer. I would like to read more works by him.
The characters and the setting are described so vividly that I felt I was actually in San Francisco. The plot was outstanding and I could not turn the pages fast enough.
I am an avid mystery fan but have not read a book that has entertained me as this one has in a very long time. Thank you Mr. Daglow.

I am a little disappointed. I can't get this book to open on either of our iPads using the kindle app. I tried on an iPad mini and an iPad Air. The book crashes the kindle app immediately. Looking forward to a fix for this to give a review of the writing.
