Erin Nicholas has written a wonderfully delightful yet sexy start to what promises to be an entertaining series with She's the One. With its fast paced interactions and witty, rapid fire dialogue this story kept me fully immersed in its ragtag collection of friends and family butting heads while falling in and out of love. Ryan and Amanda are just two of this colorful cast of characters and it was a fun yet emotional journey for them to reach their HEA.

Amanda reminded me of myself in that she's the glue holding her family together. After a brief indiscretion in her youth she's now become a serious and dependable woman that plans every move in her life and has set aside her happiness until her siblings find theirs. Along with her brother, Amanda is constantly on duty keeping her sisters from getting too out of control with their partying tendencies. Whenever they need help they know they can call her anytime day or night and she'll come help them. She's not completely happy with her life and jealous of her sister Emma, her carefree ways, and the night of sexiness she got to share with the hunk of Amanda's (and every other girl's) dreams-Ryan. A bet from her sisters, and a little white lie she told about her and Ryan, leads to a sexy night that doesn't goes as planned but opens their eyes to each other's hidden facets. Amanda soon discovers that Ryan is more than just a sex god and that he's been hiding deeper emotions behind a carefree facade. She soon not only wants to be his lover but also his friend, but it will take a lot of work for her to convince him that she wants more and that he's worth the wait.

Ryan was brought up in a hippie lifestyle that valued peace and quiet above all else. When relationships got complicated you walked away. Ryan has always enjoyed his flings and has remained friends with the women but never truly let them know him as his mother taught him. He's the fun loving and dependable guy known for his calm demeanor. He doesn't like chaos but Amanda and her family are nothing but chaos. His first time out with Amanda, which is based on a bet, doesn't end quite the way he wants but it does leave him completely intrigued and wanting more. He's never had to work to get a woman before but he knows Amanda's worth it and sets out to woo her in the best way possible.....by showing her how to have fun and taking away some of the burdens her family places on her. It's not an easy journey to HEA as doubts and fears weigh on them both in an emotional roller-coaster ride full of sexual tension, steamy sexual encounters, and continuing family squabbles.

Amanda and Ryan are a wonderful couple whose banter is ripe with sexual tension and leads to non-stop verbal foreplay. When they do come together the interludes are HOT and nicely spaced throughout the story. There's a slew of secondary characters, almost too many at times, that makes for one big happy (yet sometimes unhappy) family. Each lends an intriguing facet to the group and I look forward to each and every one of them getting their HEA. Ms. Nicholas has created a delightfully sexy romp with immensely likable characters and I look forward to reading future installments of this series.

So I am quite the Erin Nicholas fan. Especially her Bradfords series. I can honestly say that I was a bit depressed when that series ended but guess what folks? There's a light at the end of the tunnel in the form of the Counting on Love series! *does horrible cabbage patch kid dance* When Erin offered this up for a review I jumped on it like a dying person needing one last breath. I would do anything for more of the Bradfords. She's the One has our beloved characters making appearances throughout the book which made me happy, happy, happy! (Yay Duck Dynasty! Lol!) But you know what I loved best about this fantastic start to what has turned out to be my next Erin Nicholas crack? It deals with another family of siblings and has the same feel as my beloved Bradfords!

Amanda was known for her wild side but had suppressed those urges to walk that line when something she had done in the past caused a load of disappointment with her brother. Not wanting to put anymore shame to their family name and her brother's reputation, she decides to tone herself down and become more responsible. But after Ryan, the man that she and every other woman has been lusting over, comes to her and propositions her for a night of passion, she can't resist. Her and Ryan make an agreement not to let her older brother know since he made it perfectly clear that none of his friends will be dating his sisters ever. And since Ryan is his best friend, the poo would hit the ceiling real quick. But that one night of sizzling love was not enough for either and they were constantly coming back for more. And we all know what happens when a man and a woman start out as friends and move into the friends with benefits zone...the friendships start to morph into love. And how sweet it is to see their love grow!

Can I tell you what else grew? My love for Ryan. Why you ask? Let's see, 1) He's a paramedic so he's in a uniform and men in uniform and saving lives at the same time are sexay! 2) He plays football. Football equals muscles and muscles equals he can tackle me to score anytime. ;) 3) He's not one of those guys that had an attitude to back up his smokin' good looks. He's a great friend that is nice to everyone, even after being punched in the face. I loved how he knew that Amanda needed to let loose and did the things that she wanted to do and enjoyed it. Everyone needs a man that doesn't make an issue out of doing the things a woman wants to do, even when it's silly. It enabled them to really be themselves with that person and it allows them to have a deeper love. So you best believe I rooted hard for my loveable Ryan. :)

You can read this book as the start of the series and I definitely do, but I also recommend going back and reading the Bradford series too. You will end up loving both! I know I did! So I applaud you, Erin, for feeding my obsession. Keep popping them out as fast as you can!

REVIEW:

Amanda believes it is her responsibility to take care of her 4 adult siblings. She has always been the dependable sister....except one time. That one time left her believing she has to be all business, all the time. Amanda has fantasies about Ryan, who happens to be one of her brothers best friends. Amanda also knows that Ryan is a safe fantasy, believing he would never be interested in her. Amanda's sister's birthday wish is that Amanda spends one weekend risking it all and Amanda knows there is only one person she would ever want to make that happen with....Ryan. But would he be interested? She already knew Ryan didn't do permanent so he would be perfect for one night.

I loved this book from the first page and could not put it down. You could feel the passion sizzling between Amanda and Ryan right away and I couldn't wait to see how it would work out. I love the way you got to know each character without losing focus on Amanda and Ryan's story. Ryan wasn't the playboy Amanda thought he was and Amanda wasn't the perfect good girl he thought she was. The passion was off the charts and the sex scenes were smoking hot as Amanda and Ryan got to know each other. This book is part of a series that left me drooling for book two.

This is the first book in the new series Counting on Love, and another awesome read from Erin Nicholas. If you've read any of Erin's books, you know how well she writes a sexy romance that includes wonderful friendships, and a good amount of humor that you cannot help but enjoy it. If you haven't read any of her books, you should pick one up because you will not be disappointed. I was wishing the story would never end because it flowed so well and kept my interest, I really wanted more, yet at the same time I wanted to read the next book at the same time. I love how Erin always pulls me into her stories. All of her characters feel so real that they had me laughing and crying at times throughout the entire story, and it makes me want to know everything about every one of them.

Ryan Kaye is the kind of guy that doesn't let many things get under his skin. He's got a great group of friends, and he has never had trouble finding a woman. But when a man punches him for a reason he knows nothing about, things get a little interesting. He has been accused of having a one-night stand with the sister of one of his good friends - if it was only true. He decides to confront Amanda and learns that she started the rumor accidentally, so he tells her that she can make it up to him by spending 24 hours with him.

Amanda Dixon is not interested in a relationship, especially anything long term. When she tries to turn down a date request from a really nice guy she mentions that a one-night stand with Ryan has left her heartbroken, but what she didn't plan on was that the guy would confront Ryan with his fist. Amanda has tried living her life quietly, and without any incidents that will embarrass her in any way in order to take some of the family responsibility off of her older brother Conner. But when Ryan offers her the chance to let go with no one finding out about their time together, she takes him up on it.

Ryan enjoys spending time with woman, but he has never fallen in love and doesn't expect it to ever happen. He figures he can give Amanda whatever she wants and walk away when their time is up. Amanda is very thankful that 24 hours is not enough time to develop any feelings for Ryan because this is going to work out perfectly. Right?

Another winner for Erin Nicholas! I loved this book with the discription of the characters & their close interaction with other. Ryan finds that a punch to the face can lead to the realization that he can be a man & have a relationship. He confronts Amanda Dixon about their supposedly one night stand. This leads to a conflicting relationships between coworkers, family members, & close friends. The role playing is so amusing between Ryan & Amanda. This a must read book and a series to be continued. Great story about family interactions, fears, love, & support. Can't wait until Book 2 in this series!

She's The One is the first book in Erin Nicholas' new series Counting On Love.
For us Erin fangirls out there this book follows the 4 sisters of Connor Dixon who you will remember from the Bradford Series. Fear not, if this is your first Erin novel you won't be lost but you may end up having to go buy all 5 books in The Bradford's. Just remember I warned you.

This book focuses on Amanda Dixon, the oldest girl in the family and the mother hen of the bunch. Amanda plays by the rules and always does what she believes will be best for her family, not wanting to disappointing anyone.
Ryan Kaye is a teammate of Amanda's older brother Connor. He is a live and let live type of guy who doesn't easily get mad and rolls with the punches. That is until he is punched for having a one night stand with Amanda Dixon that didn't really happen.

I am one of the first to admit that I am ADDICTED to Erin's books. I love her writing and the realness of the romances and situations that arise in her stories but she has totally outdone herself with this new series. Ryan is my new Book Boyfriend, but he is still second in my heart to Mac (Bradford Series).

In She's the One (Counting on Love #1) by Erin Nicolas, Dr. Amanda Dixon is the director of clinical education at St. A's, a local hospital. She is sexy and smart and as the oldest sister in the family, the mother hen to her three sisters and brother. Conner Dixon, Amanda's brother, is the oldest Dixon, and took it upon himself to seriously look out for her and her sisters when their dad passed away years ago. Amanda presents herself as a professional, controlled young woman, but she yearns to be wild.

Paramedic and running back Ryan Kaye lives on the wild-side. Women are naturally drawn to him because he has a special charisma that just draws them in. He has a lot of experience with the opposite sex but has never been in a long-standing relationship. An unintentional brawl brings Amanda and Ryan together and that's when the fireworks begin. However, Ryan and Conner are very close friends, and Conner has made it clear that he does not want any of his friends dating any of his sisters. Thus, a relationship of any kind is challenging to say the least.

Ryan brings out Amanda's wild-side while Amanda causes Ryan to think about a long-term relationship. They are hot and heavy for each other, in addition to being extremely compatible. Naturally life interrupts their short-term bliss and they have to work hard if they want a future together.

This book has been on my TBR list since it was published a couple of months ago. The cover is hot and the reviews are really good, so I was super excited when I got the opportunity to review it for HJ. I wanted to like it, since I have truly enjoyed some of the Erin's other works, but I did not care for it. Getting through the first half was difficult and I found myself continually checking for how many pages were left to read. There are many characters introduced in the beginning of the story and I had to reread the first chapter to make sure I understood who was who in conjunction with their occupation.

On a positive note, the sex scenes are hot and left me panting; there is nothing like reading an Erin Nicholas love scene. I especially enjoyed the wittiness and banter of Amanda's sister Emma. Although She's the One was not my cup of tea, I plan on reading the next book in the series because I would like to know more about Amanda's three sisters, and the next book focuses on Amanda's sister Isabelle.

Let me warn you, this is one of those books. You know the ones. The ones that you want to read over and over again. And get this! This is the first in a new series!

Erin Nicholas. Seriously? How do you do it? Just when I think it can't get any better than the last, she writes something like She's the One. She writes a story where I fall in love with the hero and want to be that heroine.

Ryan and Amanda are great. Ryan grew up the son of a free spirit. Everlasting love just wasn't in his vocabulary. Healthy living and healthy fun was how he rolled. Everyone has a good time and when the thrill was gone, no one got hurt. That is until he meets Amanda. Amanda is the mature sister, the responsible sister. Ryan was just a fantasy. She never believed he would be interested in her or any woman for more than fling. A slip of the tongue has Amanda living out those fantasies and so much more! This story had me laughing, crying, yelling (yes, yelling), wide eyed, and breathing a sigh of relief. I Love That!

Erin Nicholas is an amazing author and her stories captivate me immediately. I love that she can pull me into the story and make me feel like I am right there witnessing it with my own eyes. I love the fact that when I read her stories there is a flow and ease that makes her stories a pleasure and comfort to read. I highly recommend this book and all of her books.

I Loved The Bradford Series and was so happy to see that some of those characters would continue on in this series. She's The One was such a sweet fun read. The sparks of sexual tension between Ryan and Amanda practically burned up the screen of my Kindle. lol ;)

The opening of the story was so funny and drew me in immediately. I loved that Ryan was secretly attracted to Amanda all along and I was upset when things fell apart so quickly and didn't go nearly as expected on their first date. It was so much fun reading them try and be just friends and struggle to not have sex ~ when that was all that they could think about when they were together. lol I loved that they were able to eventually find what they both needed in each other and that their friends so easily accepted their relationship. Poor Connor...he didn't stand a chance..with all his sisters falling for his friends. I love books with this type of theme. It makes for such fun stories with lots of emotion and She's The One definitely delivered that. So good!!

I cannot wait for the next book. I love these characters...Emma and Nate, Shane and Iz, Olivia and Cody, and Connor and Gabby. Such lovable characters and so much fun to read.

Erin has such a way with her writing. Her stories are definitely comfort reads for me and are filled with such emotion. They are fun stories with loveable characters, romance, laughter, tears and spicey hot sex. All my favorites.

She's The One left a smile on my face when I was finished and had me so looking forward to Shane and Iz. What a great start to the series.

4 out of 5 rating.

I love Erin's books. They always put be in a good mood and I never want to put them down. I usually and extremely tired the day after but always worth it. She's the One is no different. I would highly recommend you read the Bradford Series before these, but you do not have to. Erin always seems to mix sexy and fun in all of her books. There are moments you laugh and cry, but then there are those super sexy moment. This definitely had them all. Ryan is good friends with Amanda's older brother Conner. Conner does not want ANY of his friends near his sisters. Ryan has always had a very carefree love life. Ryan all of a sudden can't stay away from Amanda. He wants her. BAD. Amanda has always looked out for everyone else and never for herself. Ryan wants to be the man who looks out for Amanda. I love this story. There relationship starts out as just being a weekend thing to help Amanda let loose but then feelings start happening and they cant stay away from each other. What a great, fun sexy read. It is a must. I cant wait for the next book in this series. The series will have 5 books total and each will focus on a different sibling. Up next will be Isabelle and Shane's book. Then Emma and Nate.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

She's the One is fantastic! A great story to get lost in. In True Erin Nicholas style she writes about believable people exchanging great dialogue and witty conversations between the characters. We get to see the great guys from The Bradford's series once again! Loved! The Counting on Love series has another great group of guys to get to know. I for one, can't wait to learn more about them with each book out in this series. Erin has such a talent in writing great banter. I love the way she has the guys interact and insult each other. That's the way guys seem to show they like each other. She writes a comeback so smooth and humorous I read them two or three time before I continue on with the story.
She's the One is about Ryan and Amanda learning to let go. Both In different ways so they can finally come together. Ryan, on how he grew up thinking what loving someone meant. Amanda on needing to let her sisters take control of their lives, handle things on their own. Not to jump in so quickly but be there when they do need her help/ear. You get a very good description of the story with the synopsis/blurb, so I'm not going more Into that. Very steamy scenes! Loved it and cant wait for more!

Well my favorite Author Erin Nicholas, Hits a grand slam again! WAY TO GO ERIN!!!! She's the One is the 1st book in her newest Series "Counting on Love" or as her super fans now call it the "Dixon's" which is a follow up to the "Bradford's". In the new series, Erin now brings to life Connor Dixon's and his 4 sisters over the so far 5 book series. And the BEST part..........they are all friends with our favorite's Bradford Boys ..... Mac, Dooley, Sam, Kevin, and Ben. In "She's the One", Erin brings to life Ryan and Amanda. Right now Amanda is not looking for anyone serious in her life but somehow, Ryan with some persistence becomes front in center without her even realizing it. This 1st book comes with a **Warning**: Contains a hot paramedic who knows how to get a girl to let her hair down, a girl who thinks she prefers her hair up, some naughty laser tag, some naughty role-playing and a lot of falling in love. Way to Go Erin!! Can't wait to meet Isabelle Dixon and Shane this fall!!

OMG....I LOVED She's The One by Erin Nicholas! It was such an amazing book and I got pulled right in. I stayed up ALL night reading....finally put my kindle down at 6AM because I needed to get some sleep before work but I soooo did not want to stop. The chemistry between Amanda and Ryan is HOT and STEAMY!! Their whole relationship begins because one of Amanda's sisters (Olivia) says that for her birthday she wants Amanda and another sister (Emma) to trade roles for the weekend...Amanda's job was to think like her sister Emma. Which gets her in trouble with Ryan...until Ryan sets her straight! Ryan is a player and everyone knows it...especially Amanda but she does not seem to care because she is still wildly attracted to him! The two have their ups and downs through the whole story which is another reason that makes it so great...there are a few twists in the storyline! If you have never read Erin Nicholas then I would totally recommend this book!

Ryan and Amanda have known one another for a while. He works with her brother, making him forbidden. Until one day something happens to change it all ....

Amanda just needed to be rescued. She just mentioned his name as a means to get rid of an unwanted suitor. Not really knowing what it would cause.

This series is so good. The characters are mostly related and the interaction is fun to read. I liked how the humor in the story made it more real.

It's been so long since I've read a book by Erin-what is wrong with me?! I am so glad this came up for review and pushed it up on my TBR list. This is book 1 in the Counting on Love series, but we also get to see characters from Erin's other very popular series The Bradfords. I liked Ryan's laid back yet alpha male attitude. And seriously who can resist a sexy paramedic?! Amanda could be a bit annoying at times, but I'm pretty sure I can be the same way so I'm not going to judge her for that. lol I became completely entranced with this book. Once I started I couldn't stop reading until I was done and when it was over I wanted more. The sparks between these two flew high and burned hot! They both had me laughing out loud multiple times and in need of a cool drink too. I cannot wait for more in this series!

I'm a big fan of opposites attract love stories, but what I love about She's the One is that Amanda and Ryan aren't as different as they think they are. They both would do anything for those they care about, and that's what got me with this story! I love how their relationship starts (out of pure fun), how it grows (an attraction that is undeniable) and how their relationship changes one another for the better. Ryan finally sees that he can stick around for a woman he cares about and Amanda realizes that her family's happiness can't always depend on her. There were a lot of fun scenes throughout the book that had me laughing, smiling or my heart beating. The smexy scenes were great, since they weren't the typical "bedroom scene." Lots to love about this book! Erin Nicolas has definitely captured my attention and I will be reading more of her work. I'm truly excited to see that there are more in this series to come!

This was my first book by this author. I am so glad a took a chance. This book had me laughing and tearing up. What a fantastic story.

Ryan and Amanda's story was so cute. I loved the chase they went through. It was a such a cute way they got together.

I can't wait to read the rest if they are all written as good as this one. 4 sisters and a brother, the stories should be entertaining.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Rock Star Lit.

I have a new book boyfriend. Ryan Kaye just flat out does it for me. He is smart, sexy, funny, physically fit and comfortable in his own skin. That he is a hero in his day job doesn't hurt. Amanda Dixon is the big sister and takes care of everyone. Ryan is the live and let live type until he thinks about Amanda. She digs deeper and cares more than anyone he knows and it gets to him in ways he didn't expect. Amanda needs to loosen up and play a little and Ryan can give her that. I LOVED this story. It has all the elements you need for a great romance. It is funny and sweet and has a terrific supporting cast. There are some totally smoking hot love scenes and there is, of course, drama. I am anxiously awaiting the next installment.
I received a copy from the author in return for an honest review and I'd like to thank her because it was truly my pleasure.

What a great way to start off a series! Amanada and Ryan's story had me laughing the entire time. Ryan didn't see it coming when someone walked right up to him and punched him. He was even more shocked to find out the reason behind this punch. Amanada, oh sweet Amanada was in for a rude awakening once her secrect was revealed to Ryan.

I have read and loved many books. This book is the perfect, feel good, spicy contemporary romance. If I could rate this book higher, it would be a 10! Erin Nicholas has added the perfect amount of eroticism in a fun and spontaneous way. A SMOKING hot paramedic, Ryan, and one of his good friends' sisters, Amanda, have so much chemistry it's almost explosive! What is supposed to be a 24 hour fling, turns out to be so much more. Is Amanda willing to let go of some of her many family responsibilities and live a little for herself? Is Ryan willing to stay and have a relationship or will he move on, like always, when things get a little messy? I enjoyed reading this book so much that I can't wait to read it again! I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the Counting On Love series.

Have you ever told a little white lie so you wouldn't hurt someone's feelings? Then it snowballs????

Amanda Dixon is an uptight, responsible college professor who is afraid to cut loose and have fun. She says she has feelings for Ryan Kaye to discourage Tim's romantic interest in her. Ryan Kaye is an easy going, fun loving paramedic who was raised by a hippie mother. Ryan decides that Amanda must repent for her "story".

This is the story of two very different people who find that they have a lot in common. This story will make you laugh out loud, cry and think about relationships in a new light. Be sure to set aside an entire afternoon because you will not want to put this book down.

Amanda Dixon is the oldest of the four sisters that Connor, their brother, helped raise. Amanda disappointed Connor once and never wants to again so she is the boring one who tries to take care of her sister’s and Connor. She is a physical therapist and tries to take care of her students who are in training as well as everyone else she loves. Ryan Kaye is Connor’s partner on the ambulance, and they play football together. Connor can’t stand any of the guys he plays ball with to hit on his sisters. Ryan and Amanda hook up, but Amanda keeps saying things that makes Ryan feel like she doesn’t respect him, so he walks away from sex. Read how their relationship builds, and both their attitudes change for the best.

I loved the other side of Amanda that she felt comfortable showing Ryan. Even though Ryan’s mother was somewhat of a hippy, I felt bad that he felt like he didn’t know how to have a long term relationship during good times as well as bad times. This was such a good book, and I strongly encourage you to read the book.

WOW!!! I loved, loved, loved reading She’s the One by Erin Nicholas, the first book in her Just Everyday Heroes: Night Shift series. Ms. Nicholas knows how to create a wonderful love story, allowing them to find a connection and break through doubts and fears. I’m not sure how she does it but Ms. Nicholas keeps writing books that are better than the last, though I’m not sure how that is possible. It’s why she has become a go-to, auto-read author.
Amanda Dixon tells a guy who won’t take no for an answer that Ryan Kaye, a guy she never dated, ruined her for any other guy. After getting punched by a stranger for supposedly sleeping with Amanda Ryan decides that he wants what he’s been accused of doing.
I loved that Amanda stepped out of her goody-good girl phase and went for what she wanted. She needed to be herself, the true her not who she wanted others to think she was. Being the oldest sister and a natural mother hen, made her uncomfortable with all of this, but Ryan was enough reason to do this. Amanda needed to learn that she didn’t have to take on all the responsibility for her crazy sisters, but to share the load. Ryan also discovered a few things about himself. Despite his mother never marrying any of the men in her life, he did understand permanent or forever love with those men. He needed to believe that Amanda could truly know him and it was okay for her to be his forever friend.
Ms. Nicholas wrote a wonderful and hysterical story which drew me in as well as into the lives of her characters, making me forget the world around me. I had trouble putting this book down, turning page after page, not letting go until I turned the last page, still wanting more and really looking forward to the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book to other readers.

Amanda is the oldest sister and takes that responsibility to the extreme. Connor is the oldest and has taken on the role of leader since their father passed away. Amanda tries to be the mother of the rest of the girls and protect Connor from having to deal with their crazy. Emma is the wildest and the one who gives amanda the worst headache. But shes also the one that Amanda would most want other like. On a wish from Olivia, Emma and Amanda switch for a weekend and Amanda can do anything she thinks Emma would do. Including Ryan. Ryan is an unknowing victim in this ruse. Especially since Amanda has told a guy that Ryan loved her and left her. Their weekend starts hot and heavy but goes South when Amanda thinks she knows what makes Ryan tick. Her assumption is way off base and Ryan won't stick around to get judged.
It takes a lot of guts for Amanda to admit she's wrong. She works to make up for it. And she redeems herself at least to me. Ryan doesn't know how to make a relationship last. He hasn't had many examples since his mother doesn't stick with the same man long. But Amanda is getting insider his skin in the best way. I loved how these two developed. Both messed up but they never gave up.

I really didn't know what to think of this book at first. Bar and club scenes aren't the usual setting for romances, but that's where this one was...at first. You soon realize that the heroine is acting totally out of character and the hero might be too. The craziness was the result of something close to a dare where Amanda is supposed to react and do things the way her over-the-top sister does.
Several chapters in things start to reverse. Total beep-beep-beep reverse. The heroine has gone from a one night out on the town crazy person back to the person her family knows who wants to take care of everybody. Her one crazy night, date guy has gone from wanting to get her to bed as quickly as possible to wanting to take care of HER. His actions are really sweet and he makes progress in having a relationship with her.
I thought it was funny that when Amanda wanted to show Ryan that she liked him for more than sex, Ryan thought she was putting him totally in "the friend zone". Miscommunication is awful in relationships and couldn't get much worse than this. In the end, Amanda and Ryan were really good together. The heat factor in this book was great once it got back to a normal relationship. Nicholas blends just the right amount of heat and heart to leave you very content at the end!

I remember reading this book when it first came out. I fell in love with Ryan then, but fell more in love with him the second time around. I really enjoyed revisiting with these families again. The sexiness between Ryan and Amanda was definitely still there. Erin Nicholas writes these kinds of books so extremely well. You know you will get an amazing book each and every one.

Absolutely sexy!.....If you enjoyed The Bradfords by USA Today and NYT bestselling author Erin Nicholas, then you're sure to love her hot and steamy "Counting on Love" series featuring all her infamous characters from all those books. Enjoyable from beginning to end!.......Sometimes when you think love is out of your reach, it suddenly sneaks up on you when you least expect it.....He was extremely good-looking, sexy and a charming guy, and whatsmore, he knew it, but it wasn't Ryan Kaye's biggest draw. He had a laid-back easygoing personality making him everyone's best friend which made him very approachable, and even more, attracting every woman in his path including herself. As much as Amanda hated to admit it, Ryan had the starring role in in all her dirty dreams and she fantasized about him both day and night, but of course, she would never have a fling with a man that practically slept with every woman within a fifty mile radius. He was way too wild, way too hot, and more importantly, totally off limits. So, she did the next best thing by telling a lie to a friend that she had a one night stand with him ,and in the end, he left her heartbroken. For reasons unknown, paramedic Ryan Kaye is stunned when a stranger walks right up and punches him for no good reason accusing him of having a one night stand that never happened with his friend's sister, straight-laced Amanda Dixon. What? Although he knew it wasn't true, Ryan confronts her with her deceit and she apologized for the lie, and in that moment, he shockingly realized he doesn't want her apology, but instead, he wants the night they never had. Deep down, he thought Amanda was organized, efficient and confident, and most people found her intimidating, but not Ryan. He thought this blonde-haired beauty was fascinating, and since the two of them were both commitment phobics, he does the next best thing by tempting her with a few fantasies she can't resist. Between a hot paramedic and a gorgeous professor playing some naughty laser tag, sexy role-playing, not to mention a hot off the coals pirate costume in the mix, will love enter the picture by making Ryan realize that she's the one after all?.......

This is the first in this spinoff series.

So much love for Ryan and Amanda. He is an unapologetic playboy EMT. She is a doctor who feels responsible for all her siblings. When Amanda has the chance to take a wild weekend with her crush, what could possibly go wrong? Except they start liking each other for a lot more than the sexy times they keep having. Maybe they can really see each other through better and worse.

I adored Ryan!! For all the reasons all the women in the book adored him. He was funny and sexy and truly liked people just the way they are. And I loved Amanda! I loved that she wanted to take the time to be Ryan's friend and really made him work for a date. I can't wait to read the next book!!

A gif from a friend

So someone hit Ryan Kaye and he hopes there is a very good reason or else. But rather surprised assumes there’s a good reason. But surprised that is was regarding a one night stand and to make matters worse, this never happened (hihi)
This was to have happened with Amanda Dixon who was the sister if his friend.
Ahh Amanda does not want to add anyone in her life, But Ryan Kaye is surely tempting her a lot, if you have the urge to find out how this develops head on and read the book, its a good and cute story.

Gotta love Erin Nicholas! She's started another series as an off-shoot of her Bradford's series so you know it will rock before you turn the first page. You don't need to read the Bradford series first, but you'll want to read them all once you know how great Erin's books are. Can't wait for the next one!
