Have waited forever for Harper and Christopher to have their story told. I was disappointed in the third guy / triangle thing. Skye Warren is my favorite and I love her books. She is excellent at writing heart stopping romances that I get so caught up in. This one though, was spoiled for me by bringing a second guy in. I love that Harper and Christopher really began when she was 15 and withstood time and grew into something. That was so great. But, I feel that the opportunity for an epic love story like Gabriel and Avery, or for me, Ivan and Candy, was missed. I am so hoping that the next book, the conclusion, makes it all work out for Harper and Christopher. Love every single Skye Warren book, this was just not a keeper for me.

This book contains such an interesting look into the lives of the rich and famous. It's full of the pitfalls involved in being born into the life and the consequences money can bring.
Skye Warren creates a masterful story filled with complicated characters that captivate you as much as they anger you. I loved the characters involved, Harper and Christopher and Sutton. I’m almost certain this is the first book of hers I’ve read. Her writing style is different than what I normally see, it’s distinct but it works perfectly for this story.
Those three are indescribable. They each have a connection to each other that cannot be pinpointed but can be clearly felt. They are as complex as human nature can be. Skye gives us an in depth look into Harper (story is told in her POV) and through her eyes, we get to see the life she lives (and trust me, it's seriously complicated, it’ll take a bit to get your mind wrapped around it), her undefined relationship with Christopher and her burgeoning one with Sutton.
Motives are questioned in this intricately tangled web of money, lies, and questionable actions.
I loved delving into their story. I can’t wait for the next one. This, to me, is definitely a must read.
If you love drama.
Take a glimpse into the world of the rich and famous...
Or a peek into their lives, cause trust me, everything is not always what it seems...

Okay so this is a tough one for me because I LOVE Skye Warren's work and she has been one of those authors who had yet to disappoint me with her stories but this one was a bit of a let down not a huge let down mind you but a bit of a let down for me. I won't give anything away, but the let down for me was that I can't stand love triangles they are not my thing but I knew going in that this would be that and I gave it a shot because I have been wanting Harper's story for a long time. I felt that the addition of Sutton was not needed and I am still 100 percent Team Christopher and am hoping that the next book will end that way and that maybe Sutton gets a different HEA else where. I'm not going to say that this book was enough of a let down that you shouldn't get it you should and see for yourself how it holds up and I will be reading the second book to see how it all ends for Harper.

I was so excited to start this new book by Skye Warren. She's one of my favorite authors and I always try to read her newest book. And wow... I was pretty much blown away by Survival of the Richest. It was so freaking good that I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting. That's something I almost never do, which only shows how much I enjoyed the story.
I read the prequel Trust Fund before reading this one where I met the characters of Harper and Christopher who were stepsiblings for only a few months. I thought I had figured out where the author would go with the story but I could't have been more wrong when Sutton entered the story in Survival of the Richest. Even though Harper has had feelings for Christopher for years, she felt intantly attracted to Sutton. And that's where the tug and pull began for me. You could say this is a love triangle but it isn't an ordinary one because it was all pretty complex with both the men and Harper.
I absolutely loved Sutton right from the start. I actually wasn't the biggest fan of Christopher in the prequel and a large part of the book because I was so smitten with Sutton. But I could see how Harper had complicated and mixed feelings about the both of them. There were quite a few sexy moments with the both of them and also one big and hot scene that actually caused me to drop my jaw. So yeah. There's no lack of steam in the story. Although I must say it isn't all sexy times and the chemistry between the character, it also involves a library that might or might not be torn down. As a reader I really liked how Harper took it upon her to try and save it.
The ending of the story surprised me because again I thought I knew how it would end. Silly me. Actually the through the whole book I kept being surprised at the twists it all took. I thought I was very much team Sutton but the ending has me leaning more towards Christopher now. And as this is a duology I'm guessing we'll find out who Harper picks in the end when the next book is releaeses, which I'm so excited for. I can't wait! Also, the appearances of some characters from the author's other books were really nice. Especially Blue, who's my favorite guy!
Overall, Survival of the Richest ended up being one of my favorite books by Skye Warren. The story was very steamy, complex and the cliffhanger ending made me want more. It was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions but I loved every bit of it.

This is a story about a poor little rich girl who is trying to survive her life through its ups and downs while fighting a battle with her heart. When she meets Christopher, her dad was married to his mom and he saved her from freezing to death. From that day forward, they were great friends even through their parents’ divorce. When Harper’s father dies and leaves her with everything, but Christopher is made the executor till she turns 25 leaves her feeling betrayed. Fast forward, Harper hasn’t forgotten what Christopher did and when she needs him the most he will not help her. When she storms into his office she meets Sutton and their attraction is intense. Sutton is all dirty talk and it seems like he loves playing games. Harper doesn’t realize that she is a part of his game, but she has an agenda of her own. She wants Christopher to see what he is missing out on and when they offer her a chance to get the money she needs that is the best opportunity. They want her to help with the library they brought and all the while she and Sutton grow closer. Christopher is hard to get a read on him book because he doesn’t give Harper much in the way of answers. Harper didn’t know what she wanted when it came to Sutton and Christopher. Her chemistry with both burns bright so some of the time I was confused to which way she was going to go with her feelings.
Harper, Christopher and Sutton keep you guessing in their tale of surviving in a world among the greedy. Harper is the one between Christopher and Sutton, but Sutton is the only one willing to act his feelings. I am a little disappointed in Harper because she seemed a little naïve and immature. I didn’t like Sutton because he knew Harper has feelings for Christopher and vice versa. I loved that he was honest and some part of him has a heart that needs someone to love. Christopher has been fighting his feelings for Harper through the whole book and will not give her what she wants. He is hardcore, and it seems like he doesn’t know what its like to have love. I wish there was more answers about how Harper can move on with her life. Who will she pick, and can she even tell the difference of her feelings between each of the men? I like the book, but I just wanted more from each of the characters. It is a quick read with a lot of talking within Harper’s head. I am curious to read the rest of the story though because my questions just weren’t getting answered. The heat in the book was off the charts which helped immensely but the characters and drama were confusing as times. It’s a good story line and I wish it would have gave me more of a balance with the emotional aspect.

Its been awhile since I read a book by Skye Warren and to finally come back and read her work after such a long pause, it makes me think why I even took a break from her books. Survival Of the Richest was something unique, special and completely captivating! I fell in love with this fiercely amazing first book in the Trust Fund Duet. It left me on edge and desiring more...eager and anticipating the second book.
Survival Of The Richest was full of surprises and full of all sorts of tingly sexual tension and terrific characters. I couldn't predict what was going to happen from one page to the next and it was fascinating and utterly fantastic! I can't wait for book 2!
Survival Of The Richest gets a FULL BLOWN TEN AMAZING GLITTERING STARS!

I have previously only read a handful of books by Skye Warren and whilst I have enjoyed them, it always appears as if her stories are ones that I just seem to happen upon when flicking through my kindle looking for my next read, but this was different, this one after I read the blurb, I was ready to search it out, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.
From the absolute get-go, there was just something about it that drew me in and that spoke to me almost.
A tale that included more than I anticipated but that that made sure I didn’t get everything I either wanted or needed…after all there is more to follow!
I found the pace of the book was the biggest draw for me, it never let up. The story was sensational, beautifully written with so much detail that I didn’t want to take my eyes off my screen for a single second. The delicate layer of humour was so subtle but so necessary that I can’t say anything other than wow!
With a cast of characters that I adored, the author left no stone unturned in her pursuit of perfection. The connection between Christopher and Harper was nothing short of incendiary but throw Sutton into the mix and the intensity was through the roof!
There were twists and turns aplenty and a level of angst that had me on the edge of my seat questioning just what the heck was going to happen next and exactly who was involved.
To the very end there was that element of anticipation and with an ending, like she produced I can’t say that I am still 100% certain of it all. But what I am certain of is the fact that I am counting the days until I can read the next book in the series.
Very Highly recommended .. this is a book not to be missed, it is full to the brim with emotion, beautifully descriptive and thoroughly engaging.
Bravo!

This was the first time I read one of Skye’s novels, and if I’m being completely honest Survival of the Richest isn’t normally the type of read I seek out. But there’s never anything wrong with pushing past comfort zones and usual routines, and this novel delivered from the first chapter.
Survival of the Richest centers on Harper St. Claire, a girl emotionally older than her years and on the verge of transforming into a woman. Initially, I wondered if her teenage voice was too mature for the character in the story, but my concerns soon faded. Harper’s life could easily be compared to a prime-time soap – family wealth, high society, and over the top drama. She bounces between the households of her divorced parents and endures a revolving door of subsequent step-mothers, step-fathers, and step-siblings. By the time she is introduced to current step-mother, Louise, and step-brother Christopher Bardot, her policy regarding their new relationship is deeply rooted – “I don’t want to mess with them. They’ll be gone next year.”
In this case, Harper is only partly correct. While Louise quickly fades from her father’s world, Christopher holds on. Over the course of several years, a long-distance friendship and bond builds between the two former step-siblings, but despite Harper’s growing attraction and greatest wishes where Christopher is concerned, they are kept apart by one obstacle after another. Christopher comes from humble beginnings and his ambition and his acumen for business drive him to become a self-made millionaire, earning the respect of Harper’s father. From the first time me meets Harper, Christopher is compelled to protect her at all costs and when Harper’s father burdens him with a life-altering responsibility, the job at hand threatens their chances at a future together.
But just when things couldn’t seem any more complicated, Harper is introduced to Christopher’s business partner, Sutton Mayfair. In looks and personality, Sutton is everything that Christopher is not. Despite pining after Christopher for years, Harper notices and appreciates the differences between the two men, and Sutton is immediately attracted to her. He sees things in Harper that she wishes Christopher could acknowledge. What quickly develops is an intense love triangle that made Survival of the Richest unputdownable. I was desperate for Harper to choose the man who was best for her. I bounced back and forth between Christopher and Sutton, wondering if there was one clear choice over another and even questioning at times if she should walk away from both men altogether.
I won’t lie, the ending of this book snuck up on me quickly and left me hungry for more. Thankfully, a sequel is on the way at the end of the summer, which gives me plenty of time to theorize how the story of Harper, Christopher, and Sutton will ultimately play itself out. It’s clear that some of the secondary characters in this book likely have novels of their own, but Survival of the Richest is easily read as a stand alone novel. The chemistry between Harper and her love interests runs the spectrum of loving and intimate to primal and possessive. If you’re in the mood for a passionate read with a fair dose of angst, Survival of the Richest is great choice.

Reading a book by this author is a pleasure on so many levels. Deep, subconscious, beautiful levels. There are so many things to love about this story. The sharp triangle of a woman torn between an unrequited love and a new powerful man who truly pursues her. The desperate longing to be valued and loved by a man who pushes her away in a twisted sense of righteousness. The sensual awakening, the subtle layers of male pride and desire.
To me, this story goes to all those places with masterful intensity, yet it also goes beyond to create a female soul full of light, sorrow, creativity and wonder. I absolutely loved Harper, the artist in her, the feminist voice of her inner thoughts, her love for a place whose ruined splendor called for an act of saving heroism.
As to whom would I choose? Sutton is presented as this charismatic, all-man alpha male who sees the potential in Harper. Of course, you’re going to root for this perfect specimen who can master a woman’s body. This novel is quite partial to him. Though if you read first the prologue, Trust Fun, you’ll do one thing and one thing only. Fall in love with Christopher.
My admiration and compassion are for Harper. That woman is the epitome of vulnerable, strong heroine.
The final part of this drama pulses with sacrifice and loss and surprises and betrayal. Not until the very last pages do you realize the whole truth about these two men, and it was glorious. I’m completely consumed by Harper’s dilemma, and I cannot wait for the next novel.
(I'm happy to share my honest opinion about this arc).

Skye Warren gave us a hint of the fire between Christopher Bardot and Harper St. Claire in Avery and Gabriel's series and introduced us to the mystery that was Sutton Mayfair in Escort but she honestly blew my mind in Survival of the Richest. This story had passion, fire, intensity and heat that singed my fingers while reading. I never wanted it to end.
In full disclosure I was not sure what to expect when I embarked on reading this book. After reading Trust Fund I could not help but be team Christopher and Harper based on their history, (former) friendship and family connection. But after that shocking ending and then seeing their somewhat acrimonious relationship in this book, I was confused, twisted and unsure about them. Enter Sutton. I thought he was the sexy and charming match to Christopher's hot and broody persona, but what they both never failed at was twisting and confusing Harper to a tee. She was torn in two directions and never expected to feel for both. But when secrets are revealed, who will Harper choose?
Gah!! This story was so intense. I loved the storyline and the angst and while I am TeamChristopher all the way, I did feel like Harper had a genuine connection with both men. This story had sexy spitfire banter, was deeply sensual and the sexual tension was combustible. And while that ending DROVE ME INSANE, I seriously can't wait for more. Bravo! 4.5 stars! ~Ratula

Is this part of a series because I can’t live with that ending. OMG! The angst in this story is mind-blowing. I loved the characters in this book. The love triangle had my heart bleeding. Christopher stole my heart because you can tell he has so much inside that he wants to let out but can’t seem to break down those walls. The love/hate relationship he’s had with Harper throughout the years has been very tempestuous. Add into the mix a handsome, hot and sexy business partner by the name of Sutton and things get explosive. Two completely different men, two opposing views and one very confused heart. Harper has always been in love with Christopher even though he’s been very harsh in his treatment of her. There are times, when he lets his guard down and makes some enlightening statements, that my heart just melts for him.
When she meets Sutton he just seems to understand her and her goals. Just when she thought she could move on from Christopher, he does something that makes her remember why she fell in love with him all those years ago. This story is brimming with emotional warfare. My heart was in my throat throughout the whole story. Like Harper, I fell in love with both men. They both had such appeal, although Sutton made me suspicious at times. I especially cried toward the end when Harper seemed to make a decision but… oh, that ending. Outstanding story and I hope there’s more to come.

Skye Warren teased us with Trust Fund !!! She gave us just enough to have us readers chomping t the bit for Survival of the Richest! At the end of Trust Fund (which is the free novella introducing this story) I was yelling at my kindle, "OH HELL No Skye you cannot end it like this!!!" Ummm yes she did, she hooked us in!!! So Survival of the Richest begins with Trust Fund novella and expand from there. We all know that that Christopher is placed in control of Harper's trust fund and we all are rooting to Christopher to stop fighting and give into his mutual attraction to Harper. But at the Heart of this story we get a glimpse of his true feelings, but he hides them well beneath his solid steel exterior. AS the year goes on Harper decides to no longer be the match piece in this game, she decides to begin to live her life and use the natural assets she posses. What better way than to give her attention a man so close in their inner circle that it may even trip up Christopher. Yes that's right, what happens when the Sutton the southern sexy man with wit and sex appeal decides he wants Harper. Oh and he also happen to be Christopher's business partner. Lines get blurred and emotions get mixed, yet who will come out the victors and what really is the prize? Guess we will have to wait until the next book come out!!!!!

Wow what an ending! I think I am also left with a pain that won’t disappear either. There isn’t an HEA and it will leave you wanting more. I am ready for the next book. The Evolution of Man coming this summer.
Harper loves two men and I am not sure if she will even end up with one of them. And, whom is playing whom? Christopher or Sutton.
I kept thinking while reading Survival of the Richest that there is a fine line between love and hate.
Harper started loving Christopher when she was just 15 years old. She fell overboard her father’s yacht and Christopher dives in and rescues her. After he rescues her they have formed some kind of bond. They text each other over the next few years. Then at 18 her father dies and leaves all his money to Harper but, with Christopher overseeing her trust fund. She meets Sutton when she barges into Christopher’s office but Cristopher isn’t there Sutton is. He knows a beautiful woman when he sees one. And, he hits on her. Sutton knows where Cristopher is and he invites her to a party that night. The story goes on from there.
I enjoyed reading Survival of the Richest and look forward to reading the next installment in this series.

Such a captivating read. I couldn't put this one down because I was so drawn into it. It is nothing like I expected. The writing is wonderful and I absolutely loved the fact that this was such an unpredictable read. The ending has left me speechless and nothing like I anticipated while reading.
The characters are all so likeable. I love a good love triangle and I am loving Harper, Christopher, and Sutton's story. I am so invested in their story that I can't wait to see what happens next.
Totally Must Read!!
Happy Reading Everyone!!!

When I started reading this book, I thought it was going to be the run-of-the-mill romance about a poor rich girl falling for someone her parents would not approve of and her fighting against her breeding to maybe/might be with the man from the wrong side of the tracks... I was wrong. And a good thing, too, because if I was right I wouldn't be leaving such a shining review.
Harper St. Claire is a poor rich girl, but not for reasons that one would think. Even though her parents still love one another, they are divorced and they remarry almost as often as the change their undergarments. Even though Harper loves both of her parents, she is not blind to the fact that her father, Graham St. Claire, has cut her mother off financially creating a love/hate relationship instead of a civil atmosphere for Harper. Fortunately, Harper meets Christopher Bardot, her newest stepbrother, one summer vacation with the father and his newest wife, Louise Bardot, and these two bond over a near death situation where Chris saves Harper. Even though Christopher is older, goes away to college, and their parents divorce, Harper and he continue to keep in touch for years and their bond grows. Unfortunately, Harper's father's sudden death brings everything to a halt when he wills Harper his estate but names Chris the executor of the trust until Harher is 25 years old. Harper becomes upset that she has to ho through Christopher in order to spend her money because Harper wants to use her money as she sees fit and not as Christopher would dictate.
After the reading of her father's will, Harper and Christopher's relationship changes for the worst and they don't see eye-to-eye anymore. But when Harper makes a surprise visit to her ex-stepbrother at his business in her old town, Tanglewood, she meets his business partner, Sutton Mayhair, instead. His southern charm and light features captivate Harper's attention and Sutton takes notice. That's not the only thing he notices, too. Christopher does not like Harper around Sutton and even though he tries to bad mouth his business partner to Harper, it doesn't work. These two draw closely together and Christopher gets more agitated. When Sutton proposes that Harper help with the historic society of Tanglewood in regards to a library that they bought for demo and rebuild, Christopher doesn't want the deal, but Harper counters the proposal for complete control of her trust. Christopher wants to move along his business, Harper wants freedom to use her money as she pleases, and Sutton wants Harper...
Will these three get what they want or will it all blow up in their faces?

My reaction to this book - Holy Love Triangle Batman!!!
This book had me so anxious from almost the first page. Two seriously hot alpha dudes and one innocent heiress. I was torn between the guy I absolutely loved (who did the wrong thing IMO) and the guy I totally lusted (who did the right thing - but for the wrong reason) - Gah!!!!
Talk about complicated emotions. I flip flopped all over the place with this one. There were so many lies, so much deceit & best of all so much sexual tension I thought my Ipad might combust.
Gotta say though - that ending made me want to throw my Ipad at the wall. Major cliffhanger!! I need more!!! This author is killing me with her cliffhangers. Definitely recommend and can't wait for book 2 in this amazing series.

A complex plot with complicated and multi-layered characters, this book dealt with money and the power it bestows on the people who handle it, and the victims of those who hold the purse strings.
Harper St. Claire is the perfect example of a poor broken rich girl. When she lives with her father, she enjoys a life of extreme luxury, as befits the child of a billionaire; when she lives with her mother, she lives a hand-to-mouth existence unless her mother has married into money. Unfortunately, her mother’s marriages, same as her father’s marriages, never last long. So Harper has accumulated a long list of step-siblings along the way, and a hard core of defense against meeting new stepmothers and stepfathers. She has also learned to cook a lot of Ramen noodle dinners.
Only once was she affected by a step-sibling, when she met Christopher Bardot. Her father accepted him as the son he never had and lavished attention on him. Even after divorcing Christopher’s mother, Harper and her father kept in contact with Christopher. Christopher was, at times, a partner in crime with Harper. But all that came to an end when Harper’s father died and Christopher was assigned to be the executor of her inheritance.
Mr. St. Claire had a weird attitude towards money. He provided for his daughter, but only necessities, like education and health benefits. She either had to work or starve for the rest. Her parents had a hate/love relation, her father never permitted her mother to enjoy any of his money, and the same rule is applied to Harper’s inheritance.
Harper and Christopher have a strange and fascinating relation. Harper both hated and loved him. I suspected that Christopher has been in love with Harper from the beginning, but obligations and honor kept him from acting on his feelings, so he just followed Mr. St. Claire’s instructions to the letter. There’s conflict and arrogance and stubbornness. Christopher is good on controlling money, making fortunes grow with investments, but he’s inept on dealing with people. He takes up a business partner and a love/lust triangle begins, as Harper gets fascinated with Sutton, a Southern man, with lots of charm, not from their rich and entitled world.
And here’s where the plot gets convoluted, with lust and rebellion all around, competitiveness and jealousy. There’s a very tasteful, weird and sinful threesome, very mind-boggling. It really made me wonder what the heck they were thinking and feeling. The book ends in a spectacular cliffhanger, with all relations hanging in the wind, destination unknown.

Survival of the Riches by Skye Warren took me by surprise on a lot of levels. I have read Skye Warren before and always found her books to be uber sexy and well written, quick to draw me in and to want to finish in one sitting. Survival of the Riches was no different. It was very intense and beautifully written. Skye Warren is indeed an extremely talented author and even knowing that going into Survival of the Riches, I was still caught off guard by the story she penned in book one of this duet. I won’t bore you with my synopsis of the story, but I will tell you what I loved. I try to stay away for too many love stories pivoting around a love triangle. I usually find them someone unbelievable because I don’t believe that its necessarily possible to be completely in love with two different people at the exact same time. In lust? Absolutely! But often in the romance genre, triangles are written in such a way that the heroine are in turmoil and have no idea who to choose because she’s sooo very in love with two men. Survival of the Riches at it’s core is categorized as a love triangle, but the way it’s written, well…its unique and has it's own spin on a love triangle. You’ll have read the book to see for yourself. Our heroine, Harper doesn’t see the relationship between the two heroes, Christopher and Sutton, in the same light as the common triangle. And that really took me by surprise. The dynamics between the characters fascinated me and the angst that built, brick by brick was thrilling in its own way. Although the passion was more on par with a slow burn as a lot of foundation was laid into the relationship between the Christopher and Harper. I fully grasped that since this is book one of a duet. The story really drew me in and left me completely glued to my seat waiting for more of the sparks to fly, as passion constantly simmered just below the surface of Harper’s relationship with both Christopher and Sutton. And in her innocence, Harper has no idea just how caught up she is in both men’s nets. The book really has me dying to get my hands on the conclusion to the duet, The Evolution of Man. I seriously need to know what’s going to take place next in this riveting story. And you will too once you grab a copy of Survival of the Riches!!!

As I mentioned in my review of the prologue, this was my first book by this author. Hell if I know why it took me so long!! Her writing is phenomenal and pulled me right in – which is pretty rare these days for me because it usually takes at least a couple of pages.
What surprised me most was the way the author approached the love triangle because the prologue didn’t at all prepare me for another guy in the story. To be honest, I’m not much a fan of love triangles because I don’t like one of the characters to be heartbroken in the end. In this case I was not sure for whom I was rooting for because at first it was Christopher all the way. But when Sutton came along… hallelujah! That man was sex on a stick! =P
I’d say this book was exceptional in the matter that I found myself loving things I usually don’t. I loved the female character almost more than the men, which says a lot but does not mean that I didn’t love them as well. People underestimated Harper and I could relate to that. Aren’t woman usually underestimated in general?! Anyway, she was such a clever woman who knew how to wrap men around her finger even unintentionally. The witty conversations and steamy moments had my feelings in a spin and the underlying sexual tension was almost frustratingly painful.
Christopher was a mystery to me because I never quite knew his intentions and what he was thinking. He always kept a distance and maybe that’s what intrigued me the most. Sutton was a straightforward guy who obviously liked to play but knew what he wanted and went for it. Those two men couldn’t be any more different in how they grew up, how they viewed and approached things, and yet desired the same woman.
Harper had her work cut out for herself with those two very stubborn men for different but at the same time quite similar reasons. Her only concern at first though was her mother’s health which was the reason that she’s in this situation between these men, because of money and Christopher. Although she was probably one of the richest women in the world, having no direct access to her money was not the only complication in her life anymore when her heart battled with its love for two men.
There’s such a great flow in the story and a lot of tension between the characters that it I almost forgot to breathe during this read. As weird as it may sound, I didn’t even want to blink in fear of losing the focus and missing anything of this very captivating story.
I’m not sure if I missed the signs or if it wasn’t mentioned anywhere but I went into the story unknowing that it was a duet. Luckily though we don’t have to way too long for the follow up.

"I learned early not to trust men or money. Both of them have a way of disappearing when you need them most."
Wow. Not at all what I was expecting! A woman caught between two alphas. The story captured me from the start. A page turner that will keep you guessing until the end.
Two very alpha men and one striking heiress. Harper St. Claire is an heiress to a huge trust fund. Although she has millions, she can only access money for herself. This leaves her desperate to help her mom with rent and medical expenses. But Harper is smart, beautiful and creative.
"I so used to being the one who needs saving. The one who gets saved again and again, even when I don’t want that."
Christopher Bardot was once a person Harper could trust. His mom was married to her dad briefly and they struck up a friendship. With her being only fifteen at the time, Christopher held back. But they kept in touch, long after the divorce. One moment in time changed all of that.
Harper charges into Christopher’s boardroom to confront him but he is not there. Instead she meets Sutton Mayfair. He is rugged and ambitious with dark undercurrents. A spark is lit between them. The sexual tension with potential for explosion! But Harper is supposed to be with Christopher – right?
"One of these men sees me as competent. The other as a helpless girl. One sees me as powerful. The other as weak."
There is so much to this story! Power, lies, competition, love, loss, trust. Sky Warren will take you on a crazy ride. The turns are sharp and the twists jump out at you. I was getting whiplash from going back and forth between Christopher and Sutton. I must also say that there is some hot, hot sex! It was unexpected and erotic!
"I’m halfway in love with Sutton, lying here, but the sad part is, I’m still in love with Christopher Bardot. Somehow I’ve only made it worse."
You will be guessing until the end. I was frustrated and furious. But I wouldn’t have it any other way!
"The better question is, what beautiful things does money not destroy? It touches everything with its dirty hands, marking us, leaving us weaker than before."
This is not the last that we have heard form Harper, Christopher & Sutton……Can’t wait for The Evolution of Man

WAS READ ON OVERDRIVE
Who wrote this mess? It sure doesn't seem like Skye Warren. I hardly even know where to start. First of all, it's another one of those dragged out, boring duets. Reading it was like watching paint dry. For a story that apears to be a romantic triangle, there is little revealed about either Christopher or his business partner Sutton. More questions than answers across the board. Not how they met, the reason for their mutual animosity in business and competitive edge in business and women. Not how old they are, or specifics about their business partnership. It doesn't seem to matter, even though Christopher has a brief, past history as Harper's ex-stepbrother. She fell in love with him when he rescued her from drowning as a young teen, but that man is now MIA in her life. One of the most mystifying elements is the extreme, personality change that Christopher has undergone toward Harper since becoming executor of her father's will and administrator of her trust fund/inheritance.
This book is billed as a young heiress caught between two billionaires. Well, nothing more than that actually happens. However, the men aren't even billionaires ... yet. And exactly how much time has elapsed since Harper last saw Christopher? I mean, she was 15 and he was in college ... and being a self-made man, he hasn't been out of school long enough to garner that kind of wealth on his own. Whatever. None of the ages are that clear, which makes as much sense as the rest of the book. An h with daddy issues and suspicious of men in general winds up falling for two men who are worse for her than poisonous catnip. While Christopher (the ex-stepbrother) ironfists his management of her trust fund/inheritance, she apparently plods along in life being an independent, artistic free-spirit and caring for her man-hopping mother who's in remission from cancer. Harper re-enters the story in the present to tiff with Christopher in a love-hate state of mind over his stinginess with her trust fund and refusal to pay her mother's medical bills. The setup to this point has been as vague and murky as possible, and continues that way throughout the book, as the men apparently compete for her to some mysterious end.
The length of time she spends in mythical TANGLEWOOD (a town/city?) is unclear, and located I don't know where and would perhaps understand better apparently if I'd read previous books about characters who appear in this book as cohorts of Christopher and Sutton. it feels like only a matter of a few days pass before feelings get sticky and jealousy shoves a tense wedge between the men. In a contrived situation, the focus of the story shifts to the pair's purchase of an historical library to raze it and replace with a shopping mall.. To that end, neither seems to have any finesse with the local historical society and "hire" Harper because she's some kind of negotiation whisperer when it comes to smoothing feathers in these matters. Just a dumb backdrop that forces her into the clutches of both men who woo her in the most confusing ways possible. In fact, it feels more like toying than wooing. While Christopher hides his feelings behind decisions that intentionally drive her away, Sutton comes on sexy and strong while hiding the truth of being a conniving, peope user behind a convincing mask. The end of the story flirts with a menage that makes no sense, is anything but sexy, confuses us more about the men and their interest in Harper, and leads her to make some miscalculations about both men as springboard into the next book THE EVOLUTION OF MAN.
All I can say is that the story is bland with aburpt scene changes that leave us hanging about how the scenes end. What isn't on page is significant, and only slightly alluded to by the h through after-the-fact thoughts. The whole story bogs down under the weight of too much mystery and unknown factors. Nothing happens, and nothing makes any sense. Rather than make me curious, I lost interest. Not sure whether I'll read the conclusion, as there is nothing here to compel interest in either man, which one she'll utimately choose, or anthing whatsoever about her romantic or financial predicatment. Here's the kicker -- I read THE PAWN (the Engame series) and don't even remember it or these characters in it!) So glad I read this as a library offering.

Skye Warren is a good writer. Why then insult readers with these cliffhanger ending books? I do not like being manipulated into buying more books and strung along just to get a satisfactory ending. These endings should have been in the original, full length books. I would pay more for a complete book! But I am done, so done with these cliffhangers!
Are other writers doing this? Some, and it is a shame. It smacks of greed and questionable professionalism. Is it worth losing the loyalty of your readers to play these games?
When I read Escort, I thought I had found a new "favorite" author. What a wonderful, sweet book with lovely characters! And NO cliffhangers! I wish it were longer, but it was still very enjoyable!
I will not knowingly buy any more cliffhanger books.

Survival of the Richest by Skye Warren this is the story of Christopher, Sutton and Harper. Harper's father has a habit of marrying and then getting divorced- the latest marriage has a new wife who has a son named Christopher. Harper and Christopher have this instant spark between them. They have a spark but also there is a dislike between them. Harper attempts to keep things between them cool because things never last long when it comes to her father’s marriages but tragically the unthinkable happens- her father dies. Now Harper is lost in a sea of emotions and doesn’t know where she belongs and what to do. Christopher sees her as a spoiled rich little girl which really isn’t true but in his eyes that may look the case. Harper has such a sweet and huge heart. She is kind and she is so amazing. Harper and Christopher have a short and intense background which relates to an incident on her father’s boat. That’s all I’m going to say…She was 15 at the time. Now 4 years have passed and Harper is 24 yrs old. Four years have passed since Harper’s father died, and made Christopher the executor of her vast trust fund. Her mother is now in remission from cancer and Harper needs some of her money to help her mother acquire a new medicine that's under trial. She is hoping to get Christopher on her side to help her out and sign some of her funds over to her but he immediately refuses to do so. She storms down to his office and goes in to see him where she runs into his business partner Sutton. OMG Sutton..he is such a dirty boy. Not an uptight man. Oh the mouth on Sutton and he wants Harper. Wants to do dirty dirty things to her. Christopher keeps his feeling close to his chest about what he thinks , especially when it comes to Harper. Sutton is a master manipulator and goes and hires Harper re: Historical Society of Tanglewood but don’t rule Christopher out just yet. He is just waiting to make his moves. You don’t see much of Christopher in this book but what you did see of him =wow, the fans had to be used to cool me off. Sutton and Harper were extremely hot and intense in this book. I could just feel how confused Harper was, for she has always had strong feelings for Christopher, dare I call it love? I have to admit, I am torn as to what team I am on- #TEAMCHRISTOPHER or #TEAMSUTTON. I loved both men yet they both have flaws and both have awesome qualities. Its going to be hot to see who ultimately wins Harper’s hand in the followup. This book is steamy, erotic, dramatic, angsty, and action packed. This book has many twists and turns and ends on a cliffhanger. I am dying to find out what happens in the upcoming book 2.

Survival of the Richest was a story jam-packed with angst and delicious tension. Through her seductive and thoroughly captivating writing style, Skye Warren delivers a story that will leave readers aching for more.
Harper and Christopher were two characters who intrigued me from the moment we met them in the Endgame series. Two former step-siblings with a huge amount of tension between them and a push-and-pull relationship. Add in Sutton, a sexy and charismatic alpha male who has his sights set on Harper, and you get a trifecta of emotional turmoil and sizzling chemistry. I absolutely loved Harper's character. She was sassy and intelligent, and a truly good person who wears her heart on her sleeve. I loved the back and forth between her and both Christopher and Sutton, and I really enjoyed how she held her own with both of them. If I were Harper I would find it impossible to choose between these two powerful forces. Christopher was dark and broody, a man of honor and values, and he was there for Harper at a time when she needed someone the most. I feel like there is so much more to his character than what's on the surface, and I cant wait to learn more about him in the coming book. Sutton was a charming, sexy cowboy who wanted Harper from the moment he set eyes on her. Both men full of ambition and strength, both have an inexplicable yearning for Harper. Harper faced such a tremendous emotional struggle, which Warren conveyed flawlessly through her writing.
The intimate scenes in the story were smoking hot and extremely well-written. The storyline was perfectly balanced with romantic and emotional elements, and I loved the underlying story involving the library. The parallels the author makes to ancient Egyptian history added another layer to an already fabulous story. And just when I thought things were going one way in the story, Warren hits us with a twist at the end that completely turns things around. This book ends with one heck of a cliffhanger, and I will be not-so-patiently waiting for the next book to see where the author takes Harper's story next.

This book starts off with how Harper and her one time stepbrother Christopher met in Thrust Fund.
In Survival of the Riches four years has passed since Harper’s father died and made Christopher the executor of her trust fund. Harper is now 24 and has finished college and is visiting Tanglewood. Her mom is in remission from cancer and Harper needs some of her money to help her mother get some new cutting edge trial medicine; but she needs her stepbrother’s approval first, which he won’t give.
The meet cute of Harper and Sutton is Harper storming into his office thinking he was Christopher to demand he pays her bills. But instead of a dark haired man with dark eyes she meets blonde hair and blue eyed Sutton.
Sutton seems to be more fun and dirty mouthed than his business partner Christopher with his Southern accent but you shouldn’t be fooled, he is just as ruthless as him and more manipulative than Christopher. If you’ve read Escort by Skye Warren you know he has plans for Harper and Christopher. He hires Harper to help them smooth things over with the Historical Society of Tanglewood so they can build a mall and raze an old library.
Christopher keeps his feeling close to his chest, especially his feeling for Harper. He shouldn’t want her but he does and is very jealous that Sutton was on his knees while Harper’s dress is up. He doesn’t feature a lot in this book but the scenes he’s in I just wanted him to drag Harper away from Sutton and claim her for his own.
Harper is shock and intrigued that two men seem to want her. She has always loved and wanted Christopher and now he seems to be displaying some feeling of wanting her too but she is confused because she also wants Sutton.
*Spoiler alert*
Harper does lose her V-card to Christopher as she always wanted but Sutton is in the room with them as he watches and throws Christopher a condom. Christopher then leaves while Harper is sleeping then a few hours later Harper and Sutton have sex.
So who will Harper choose or will the choice be made for her? Will she finally get to be in charge of her thrust fund? Will her mom get the medical help that Harper wants for her? Will she get to save the library that she come to care for?

"Both Men and money have a way of disappearing when you need them most. It's something I learned early, but clearly I needed to learn it again.
Neither if them were anything I could trust"
A heroine who fights for her rights, even abetting the enemy to accomplish her goal of saving her wronged mother. She's tenacious and kickass and I love her.
"There’s a sense that I’ve done more than submit to him; that I’ve ordered him to his knees. Not with words but by need. Everything about his broad shoulders and his hard features speak of power, and it’s an unspeakable thrill to realize that he bows to me. God, what power a woman can wield."
Lots of passion and heartache are woven together in this story. It tugs and pulls out all the emotions possible. Harper is at loggerheads with Christopher Bardot, the executor. She has to scrap for dollars, while her mother waits her verdict . She gets to meet Sutton Mayfair , his partner and from then on, they are three beads on a string, bumping into each other, grinding and dangling off of each other.
The story has a pulsating rythm. It's very spellbinding. Passion is just below the surface and it becomes a very very intense read as it nears the end. Some scenes are so scorching hot, I still have book imprints on my behind!!!!
Obviously egos get trampled, jealousies arise and competition gets hotter as the story progresses.

Skye has a very unique style of writing, her language is embellished with adjectives and metaphors, creating a very sparkling visual. I fell in love with the characters and cannot wait for the next book in the series.

I devoured this in one sitting... I mean, I really couldn’t put this book down.
Wow!! Skye Warren.. holy mother of triangle filled angst!!
You had me torn the entire book. I kept swinging for one man then then switching teams to the other.
I was confused. I didn’t know who to believe. I kept reading every sentence expecting a double meaning.
I... I... I’m at a loss on what to say that will give this book the proper gold review it deserves.
You have these two men fighting for Harper. One that steals all of her past the other other trying to take her future. Who is the right man to trust? Who is trying to play games? Those last few chapters in the book had me shaking my leg continuously. I needed to run to the restroom because my bladder wanted to explode, but I refused. I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!
It was definitely a battle field of the richest and the baddest.
And, really?? Another cliffhanger?? It was a good one, y’all! I am anxiously waiting to see where the next installment will take us in this Harper, Christopher, Sutton web.
I also loved that we got to see a little of Warren’s previous characters from her other series.
Last thing I will say is I am 100% #TeamChristopher
I don’t care what he did, he has my heart. I love him!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
To say I loved this story is an understatement! This is a slam dunk for Skye Warren and a MUST READ! This one threw me for a loop in trying to figure out what will happen next! I wasn’t expecting the turn this story took; it was quite an unexpected surprise that may leave you exasperated wondering how did that happened! SURVIVAL OF THE RICHEST is an engaging story with lots of passion that is off-the-chart hot and will keep you captivated and glued to the pages of this fascinating storyline. This is the first time I read a book by Skye Warren, but I assure you, it will not be the last. Harper St. Claire is an heiress and an artist, but she only feared one thing—disappointing her father. Her father, a billionaire, only had one child—Harper, but several wives. His last wife had a son, Christopher Bardot, who her fathered adored. When Harper first encounters Christopher (new stepbrother) on her father’s luxury yacht, she was enchanted by his looks, charm, and gentlemanlike manners. Since that fateful meeting, Harper and Christopher’s paths did not cross, but they managed to keep in touch with one another. When Harper’s father passed away, Christopher was in charge of Harper’s inheritance—her protector. Christopher was tall, handsome, straitlaced, arrogant, ruthless, dominant, in control at all times, and sexy as hell. Christopher did not mind such ‘weak’ acclaims as he has been able to eschew marriage, women and love. These words simply enhanced his arrogant façade. Years later, Christopher and Sutton Mayfair are partners in a company. Sutton grew up on a ranch, and he is tall, handsome, forthright, impudent, capricious, seductive, and also sexy as hell. Whatever Sutton wants, he always gets because he lives only by his own morals, his own code no matter what as long as he wins—competing with Christopher is a challenge. What woman could resist the challenge of either Christopher or Sutton? Not Harper for sure! Christopher vs. Sutton. Two powerful men—vying for the heart of one woman. Who will win? Without giving away too much, emotions get very complicated. I was rooting for two of the characters throughout the story—which ones, read and find out if you will root for the same ones. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next while the strong charismatic characters draw readers in and refuse to let go. I recommend this book because the story will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning.

was not anticipating a lot of things in this book. I was not anticipating a cliff hanger. I was not anticipating actually disliking Christopher and then falling for him again. And I certainly was not anticipating Sutton. What I did anticipate, however, was a book that I wouldn’t be able to put down.
Skye Warren did it again with a story that pulled me in with softly spoken words of love and debauchery; where money and favors communicate a language all their own and power and success are part of a game to be won. The town of Tanglewood became a character itself, corrupting everything that entered into its borders, and just like the people that came before them, I should l have known that Christopher and Harper did not stand a chance of having an easy time resolving their feelings for one another. Not when there were more players in the game seeking to win the prize.
I loved the tease of the relationship we saw between Harper and her stepbrother in prior stories, and I could not wait to read their own romance. But it was nothing like I expected. Harper was so much more of a wild child than I anticipated, yet at the same time had an innocence about her that I didn’t see before. She was perfectly matched to Christopher until circumstances pitted them against one another. By the time we meet up with them again, and by the time they start to realize that the anger and animosity may truly be masking other deeper emotions, Sutton, Christopher’s business partner enters the picture.
Sutton is Christopher’s opposite in almost everything. Where Christopher is refined, Sutton is bold. Where Christopher is proper, Sutton is a force of nature. These opposites were what drew Harper, and I moved from rooting for one man to rooting for the other, and in the end, I’m still not sure what to think. I’m not sure what emotions were true and who is being played.
The love triangle between Harper, Christopher and Sutton was also unique. It was not one I have come across before, and it kept changing my perception of the two men that sought to win Harper in the end, each apparently for their own reasons.
Survival of the Richest is truly a tantalizing tale of these fascinating people in Tanglewood, and I wait with anticipation to see what will happen in the end.

When I saw that Skye Warren had a new book coming out, I was so excited and couldn't wait to read it. She creates really great characters and plunges the reader into her stories. I can 't help but to devour any book by this author.
The story grabbed my attention from the get go. Harper is visiting her father on his yacht. She's also meeting her newest stepmother and, Christopher, her new stepbrother. She knows they won't be around for long (as is her fathers track record) so she doesn't make any effort to get to know them. However, she falls into the ocean one night and Christopher jumps in to saves her. From then, the pair have an unbreakable thread that pulls them towards each other.
Just when Harper seems to be getting her life on track, her father tragically dies. He leaves Christopher in charge of her billion dollar trust fund with strict instructions. Christopher is a man of his word and a ruthless rule follower; following her father's instructions make him and Harper enemies. Even though they try, they can't get past their love and attraction. That is until Sutton, Christopher's business partner, gets in the middle of them.
I think Harper was a strong character. I really enjoyed her independence and her grit. But, it was hard for me to get around her understanding attitude of her mother's situation all throughout her childhood. I just feel like she didn't put any responsibility on her mother for her upbringing (which at times she lived in poverty). It seemed she put the blame on her father for the life her mother provided for her, even though her mother wasn't proactive to get them out of their situation except to keep marrying/divorcing rich men.
Christopher was my favorite character of the story. He could be cold and downright rude, but he always held Harper's best interest at heart. I think the reader is supposed to hate Christopher, but I absolutely loved him. He is right in line with the alphas that I fall for that Skye Warren creates. I'm iffy on Sutton. At times I liked him, but most of the time I just felt he was slimy. I really didn't understand the dynamic between Christopher and Sutton. They are supposed to be friends and business partners, but they seemed more like enemies with some kind of underlying drama.
I didn't get that connection to this story that I usually do with Skye Warrens' works which totally bummed me out. This story didn't consume me like all the others that I've read by her. There were a few things that didn't make sense to me in the story that I couldn't over look and I just wasn't feeling it.

Holy crap! This book!!! I’m trying to recall a time when Skye has written a love triangle before and coming up short. And I think I know why - the utter annihilation of feelings these three caused was devastating.
I’m not saying it’s a bleak book - far from it. But the push-pull is intense. I was firmly on #TeamChristopher going in. I challenge anyone to read Trust Fund and not be. Even through his heavy-handed protectiveness of Harper, and her love-hate for him, I could see that his intentions were good. But then, we get Sutton. Now, when Sutton first came up... I can’t remember if it was in The Queen or Escort, but that’s irrelevant.. anyway! When he first popped up, I had this thought like, no! He can’t have Harper. Of course, I didn’t know the backstory of Harper and Christopher at that stage but we were always given this hint that Harper was hung up on her stepbrother. Even before we met Christopher. So Sutton was enemy number one for me.
Except then we met him properly. And, God! I didn’t think I’d waver on my team. But I did. There were times that I was resigned to the fact that Sutton was going to get to keep Harper, and even as much as I was still rooting for Christopher, I knew Sutton deserved her more.
As always, Skye’s writing is evocative; a hint of well-timed melancholy to help set and hold the intensity in some places.
This world she’s created in Tanglewood is so rich and structured that I feel almost like an inhabitant each time I read a new conflict there.
Of course, all wasn’t at all what it seemed. A few big moments happened, a few conclusions were drawn, and then the plot twisted dramatically again all in time to say The End of part one.
I’m left reeling. It’s like I can feel the metaphorical razor blades that tore Harper apart. Waiting for the next part might kill me... but until then, I’m just going to sit here and plot how #TeamChristopher might yet get the girl in the end. ❤️

Holy Smokes. I was craving a book that will make me freak out. I was craving a book to shock me right out of my seat. I was craving a book to make me so anxious that I was biting my nails so much. I was craving a book to sink me in so deep to the point that I needed air to breathe. Survival of the Richest abated my cravings. Man, this book was PERFECTION. The poetic writing. The sexy but dynamic characters. The titillating storyline. Every page just meshed together to produce a world class story with a mind blowing and addictive plot I fell head over heels in love with. I freaking adored Survival of the Richest. Trust Fund was an introduction but Survival of the Richest was the freaking Titanic and that ship absolutely crashed into me. My soul BLED. My insides BURNED. My heart set AFLAME. Survival of the Richest was a MAGNIFICENT book that I absolutely KILLED me. But I enjoyed every moment of it.
Skye Warren is one of my unicorn authors. Everything she writes, always turns to diamonds. Her writing truly captures me and I just become a straight up junkie for it. She wrote a triumph of a book with such an explosive and heart punishing story that made me lose control. Seriously, I was on pin and needles. My heart was beating so hard. My knees were shaking. Survival of the Richest put me on a damn ringer. I was on a roller coaster going so fast that I was in a rush. I was definitely in a rush. Intoxicating. Exhilarating. Seductive. Sensational. Survival of the Richest was an intense and emotional read that poetically and intelligently depict a twisted love triangle featuring a feisty heiress and two delicious alpha males. I was bursting at the seams. So much angst. So much drama. Where is my popcorn? Hahaha. A tale of lies and deceit. A tale of sex and sin. Survival of the Richest definitely ruined me. Skye Warren is a great storyteller. Her power of words absolutely drenches me. Her writing absolutely captivates me. Her books manages to always ship me to her world and forget about her writing. I adore her writing. I freaking love her books. And I am absolutely excited for this series. So many shocking turns. I can't wait.
At the end of Trust Fund, I was #TeamChrstopher. I was for sure that Harper will be with Christopher. But this book took a huge LEFT. I am a confused pile of mess. I feel like Skye Warren is in her writing cave and laughing her evil laugh to us. She definitely got me. Right now, I do not know. Harper and Christopher have so much history. The chemistry so infectious. The push and pull so exciting. Add in Sutton to the mix, and the book just electrified. Harper was feisty and independent. I loved that she fought for her rights and took care of her mother. Christopher was calculating, alpha, hard to read at times and straight up unnerving. Sutton was warm, tantalizing, sexy and charming. Right now, I can't choose who Harper should be with. I am lost for words. I really need the next book asap.
Dear Skye Warren, please hurry with The Evolution of Man. I need my answers. Fans of Skye Warren, you will love this. FYI, this is not typical girl has to choose one boy type of book. It is more than that. Trust me.

Survival of the Richest is just that.
Harper meets her new step brother Christopher at the age of 15. Knowing all too well the marriage between her father and new wife won't last she brushes him off so she doesn't get attached. Not realising that, that night on her father's boat will change her life dramatically. She never ment to fall for Christopher let alone like him.
That is until her father passes away and they find out that her father made Christopher the Executor of her ridiculously large trust fund.
A few years have passed and her mother is in remission from cancer. She needs money for a Butterfly garden for the hospital so that she can get her mum on a clinical trial. Christopher refuses to give her the money so she storms into his office heart fluttering and all only to meet Sutton his partner.
Things get interesting. She is wanted by both men, she feels and wants both of them, but only really loves one.
This book gave me whip lash in the best possible way. The highs, lows, the back and forth between the two men bickering, i seriously loved every minute of it. I'm dying to read the next book The Evolution of Man.

Carla's Five Star Review
Survival of the Richest is the follow up book to Trust Fund. To avoid confusion, you need to read Trust Fund first.
Well, as promised, we get to learn a lot more abut Christopher and Harper. After planning a visit to Christopher to ask why he cut off her credit card, Harper gets a lot more than she bargained for.She not only has to deal with Christopher, but his business partner, Sutton, as well. Sutton is determined to get to know Harper better, and apparently no is not in his vocabulary. Christopher has always looked and treated her as a child, but not Sutton. Sutton is a hot blooded southern gentleman who has no trouble conquering a challenge. Harper is confused. She has never been in love, and she isn't too keen on trying it. She has two men vying for her affection-one who wants to control her, while the other wants to love her. Who will Harper choose?
I absolutely loved this book/series. The characters are great, and I dare you not to fall in love with them. I will end by saying, if you haven't yet read this book/series, you need to ASAP!
Simply phenomenal!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
My story starts with a plunge into the cold water of Manhattan's harbor. A strong hand hauls me back onto the deck of the luxury yacht. Christopher was supposed to be my enemy, the son of my father's latest wife. Instead he protect me with fierce determination when I need him most. This tale begins with a fall, but it doesn't end there. Because another man wants me. Sutton wants to consume me with a passion more feral than kind. In the lush emotional wilderness I'm not sure I want Christopher to save me this time....Or if there will be anything left this time...
This is the first book in the Survival of the Richest Series. I will go ahead a tell you to expect a cliffhanger at the end of this book. But the wait is not long for the second book...thank goodness.
If you have not read Trust Fund yet don't worry because that book is the first few chapters in that book where we learn that Harper's Dad has passed away and left Christopher in charge of her trust until she turns a certain age but all he can do is provide for her college education and housing. Now Harper's mom has cancer, they have survived by her selling her paintings but Christopher cut off the payment from her credit card that would have gotten her mom into a experimental treatment plan. The time has come to confront him and when she barges into Christopher's office she isn't greeted by Christopher but his business partner Sutton. He agrees to take her to a party that Christopher will be at and she ends up working with them really. However Christopher wants to tear down a historical library and build a mall but Harper falls in love with the building and all the books in them. However things are not as Harper expects them to be. Christopher is the one that Harper has had a thing for since she met him and now Sutton wants her and is not shy about telling her or showing her how she feel. There is a lot of fight in this book and the decision Harper has to make is not an easy one by any means. However, everything is not as it seems and the ending will leave you breathless. I can not wait to find out what happens with Harper, Christopher and Sutton. This is a great book and well worth reading.

Harper, Christopher and Sutton are complex characters.
Harper is the most honest and is a fighter.
She fights for her mother, her friends and seeks to find happiness.
But Harper lives in an imperfect world.
Christopher comes into her life as an ambitious young man. The son of her father's latest wife.
Harper believes he will be just another in a long line of step-siblings, but she is proven wrong.
Harper and Christopher become friends and somewhere along the way, they fall in love.
But life happens and things change when Harpers father passes away.
I loved the drama and tension in the book.
The complex characters you cant help but root for.
The first love and the need for something lasting. The sexual tension that at some point explodes in a mind blowing way!
Those 3 are tangled in each others lives.
I really cant tell what is going to happen next and I wait impatiently for the second book in the series.

3.5 for me. The first half was amazing. It was obvious that there were other character couples and it made me want to read their stories, as well. I liked Christopher's complicated character and Sutton's confident attitude. He was like a breath of fresh air compared to Christopher's stand-offish ways. Around the seventy percent area, things started to confuse me. It was the way they acted or the way she thought, but suddenly I'd have a hard time following the story, and I usually like knowing where things are going. Was this a manage a tois? Was this a one-man deal? If it was a threesome situation, I thought the guys were both drama queens competing against one another, and I didn't like it as much as I usually would. The ending was a real doozie. This is my first time reading Warren and the writing was great. I really did love the first half, so maybe I'll continue. I know I want to check out the other couples.

This next novel finds Harper coming to Tanglewood to talk to Christopher about a bill he didn't pay out of her trust fund. For her mother's care in the hospital because her mother is fighting cancer. She meets Sutton who is immediately enamored with her strength and her beauty. She is also impressed with his good looks and silent strength, not to mention his southern drawl. She finds out that Christopher is not there and Sutton graciously invites her too a social gathering where he can be found. This becomes a love triangle because of Harper and Christopher's unrequited love for each other. It's so hard to wish that one or the other men will win, but if I must I would be on #teamChristopher. Because of their history together and how many near misses happened between them. (Sigh) If you have never read any of Skye's novels this one is a great one it's so touching and full of angst. Whose enduring love will win? We will find out in the next novel. Hurry up Skye and thanks for an amazing story!

I love Skye Warren. This book well, it is just not what I expected at all. It blew me away. I will say that I had some misguided feelings throughout this book. I wasn't sure how I felt about Harper in some of this book but I understood her feelings and her actions. The ending threw me away. #TeamIhavenoideayet #TeamHarperforsure
Harper is a strong, independent woman that loves her parents. Too bad they are totally crazy. So she doesn't believe in love or money. Even though her father is a billionaire, he doesn't treat her like that. She is to earn everything.
So when her father remarries (which he and her mother do a lot) and she earns a new stepbrother they quickly become friends. Christopher is everything she knows her father would want in a child.
Years later when they get together for Harpers art show, a tragedy happens that will change their relationship forever

Since reading The Pawn I have been interested in the relationship between Harper and Christopher, wanting them to have their own book to tell us the story between these two characters. After reading this story I am so glad that Skye Warren decided to release this story because I absolutely loved reading about these two characters.
The author did an amazing job with the chemistry between Harper and Christopher. However, the author did an amazing job with the chemistry between Sutton and Harper as well throughout the story. I found myself switching between who I wanted Harper to end up with because they were both two sexy alpha males that had their own qualities.
But after reading this story and thinking about it, I think that I am definitely going for Harper and Christopher. I cannot wait to read the next story in this series to find out what else will happen.

But after reading this story and thinking about it, I think that I am definitely going for Harper and Christopher. I cannot wait to read the next story in this series to find out what else will happen.

Harper is now 24 when we meet up with her and Christopher and nothings changed between them. The unspoken attraction is still present but so is the distrust and resentment however there is a new player in their game in the form of charismatic Sutton.
This is like a game of sensual cat and mouse a will they won't they give into their obvious chemistry. What is holding Christopher back because it's obvious he wants her, will he let Sutton stride in and take the woman he wants.
I can't wait till the next book comes out.

OMG I loved this and it was a big treat to revisit Tanglewood and all the characters from previous books made an appearance, I love them all. Harper was such a passionate smart woman and she had to be so strong for what she had to deal with in her life and meeting Sutton and Christopher once again the push and pull and oh lord the angst and passion between the three of them will pull at your heart and your not exactly sure who your routing for. Twists and secrecy and surprises right until the end and I loved every word.

For starters all I can say is WOW! This book was absolutely phenomenal, and I really loved reading it. This book made me breathless, just when I thought I had it figured out things changed. I figured it was going to be another stepbrother love affair but I was mostly wrong. Along with the joy and lusty moments there were some sad and tragic times. This book really hit you in the feels. I’m not too familiar with this authors work but I was blown away. This was a beautiful and full love story with passion and heartbreak. I was kind of left speechless when I finished reading it took me some time to write this. This book is hands down 5 stars and I’d give it more if I could. Very highly recommend. It wasn’t the step brother or second chance romance I thought and I’m very happy to be wrong in this case! - By Tiffany

Oh holy angstiness! I don’t think angstiness is a word but, I’m going with it! This book is a love triangle that has so much push and pull, so much angst I couldn’t put it down!! I admit angst and a triangle are two of my favorite things. Christopher and Sutton are two very interesting men. If you get my meaning!! Very sexy!! This book is fun due to that fact that you just can’t get enough of Harper with these two men. Great read! Loved every minute!! Can’t wait for the next book!

As always Skye writes a book that attaches itself to your heart. I love that she brought us back to Tanglewood. This gripping story focuses on a love that wasn’t meant to be but also maybe a Love that was meant to be. Harper is the heiress with no control of her fortune, that job falls to her former stepbrother who is unwilling to break the trust of her deceased fathers wishes no matter how in love with Harper he is. Skye brings another story that grabs you and just won’t let go. Bonus is catching up with the other couples in Tanglewood. Bravo Skye! I’m now sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book in the series to be delivered to my kindle. Carolyn for Book Haven Book Blog

This book was so captivating! It's been a while since I read a love triangle and didn't know who I wanted the main character with. With this one, Harper has history with Christopher but she has chemistry with Sutton.. Sutton is all about the passion but Christopher is all about control. I seriously felt sorry for Harper, going thru all those wives and husbands with her parents and not really knowing herself what she wanted. When tragedy strikes, she's lost and on her own. Christopher has control over everything in her life and right now she hates it. This book will seriously keep you captivated and wanting more by the time you're done with it! This book has all the drama in it but it's all part of the story that you will love!

Why didn't I realize this wasn't a stand alone book! Banging head against the wall. I would have waited for the next book!!! Talk about a cliff hanger. I loved almost everything about this book. I kinda have a love/dislike about her first sexual encounter. It was HOT, but yet not quite what I wanted for her first time. Don't want to give anything away here. I honestly have no idea which of the guys she is going to end up with. And it's killing me to have to wait to find out. It was really fun to see so many of the previous Tanglewood characters. I have read all the books and enjoyed every single one of them. I suggest you do the same, if you haven't. They are well worth it.

Skye Warren definitely knows how to tie me up in knots. I knew Harper’s story was going to be intense, but this compelling first book has totally knocked me off my axis. Going in I thought I knew who I’d be rooting for, but now even I am just as confused as Harper; I’m honestly not sure which guy I’m leaning towards anymore. I started out absolutely in love with Christopher, then got on the Sutton band wagon, but by the end I was just a big ball of confused emotions. One thing for sure is that I really love Harper. I really like going on this journey with her where she is finding herself as an adult. I’m really excited for the next book in this series to find out what happens next in Harper’s story!

Goodness, I loved this so much! This was a sexy, angsty, emotional, dramatic, and complicated love triangle. I love love love a good love triangle! I really was torn between which man I wanted Harper to end up with. I loved Christopher from the prequel but Sutton surprisingly grew on me! I’m still #TeamChristopher though! That last chapter had me torn to pieces! I cannot wait to see how their story ends and who she ends up with! August is too far away!! Overall, I definitely recommend it if you like love triangles where you can’t decide which man you like better! Lol.

Although I really enjoy novels with angst and the proper HEA, I did feel that this book could have easily be turned into a menage relationship. Ok, that's quite smutty for some but it was obvious that both loved Harper. And the plot is quite intriguing itself.
There are also cameo appearances from other series by Skye Warren which I enjoyed seeing and I would definitely want more to know about Blue.
Overall, it was a good read and I hope to see what will happen in the final book.

Oh my dayz. Yet again this author has me blown away with her skill on words. I read this is one sitting as I couldn’t put it down.
This is a fantastic story. We have Harper who is a great character. We also have Christopher and Sutton, both fighting for Harper. I still don’t know if I’m on Team Christopher or Team Sutton.
This is a wonderful told story of a love triangle between Harper, Christopher and Sutton. The whole story is fab but I think my heart thumped faster towards the end.
After that ending I seriously can’t wait to read more of this series. I loved it.

One new book from Skye Warren is all it takes me to fall in love with the story behind the pages of it. It does not take me long to have all the feels that Survival of the Richest was going to be an epic masterpiece as she always delivers the kind of books that my heart craves with the intensity of thousands of suns. Her writing has me too smitten that I wonder if one day I would be able to stop reading her books. Not in a million years.
Survival of the Richest is temptation written. It is taboo. It is forbidden. It is fierce. It is power. It is lust, sex and money. All wrapped in an intense and brilliant plot with a lot of twists that will make you implore for more. Each page is a force of pure revenge and denied passion. Each chapter will draw you deep and deep into the story. There is not escape. From the first page you will not be able to put it down until you devoured the whole book.
I spent the greatest time of my life while reading the love triangle formed by Harper, Christopher and Sutton. They poured lust and forbidden temptation. The lies, the unbearable attraction, the past and a competition cursed them in a: oh so good way! Two impossibly hot, sexy and possessive men fighting for a strong and energetic heiress!
Harper is torn apart by the chemistry she has with two men. One is deeply imprinted in her heart: Christopher her first and one crush. He is her past. He denied her the love that flourished the day she met him in her Daddy’s yacht. He hides his feelings to protect her. She deserves better than him. He always is her white knight: the man who will not corrupt her. Christopher is the man who loves her in the darkness. He is the torment that consumes Harper’s soul. He is he. He is ambitious and loyal. He is the man who always saves her. The man who she is supposed to hate...
The other is all charm and southern enticement: Sutton a delicious stranger. He is her future (or that’s what she thinks). He is also Christopher’s business partner. He is charming liar. He seduces her. He tempts Harper like no other man before. He gives her what she desires. He is betrayal and redemption. He is an opportunist and a competitor. He takes advantage. He breaks. He lies. Sutton is different and hot AH, cursed and strong.
What will these men will do to Harper? What will be left of her?
Wow! I am so in love with these characters. They are so complex and strong. Each one is fighting to survive in a world moved by money, sex and power. They have their demons and they fight them in a different way. Who will conquer who? Holy Moly! I am dying to read the conclusion of this series.
At the begging, I was #TeamSwitzerland. I couldn't decide who of those men deserved Harper's love. Christopher and Sutton tempted me equally. In the middle, I was #TeamSutton because he supported Harper. He doesn't underestimate her but he used her for his own purposes (I wonder what are those). At the end, I ended being #TeamChristopher because he sacrificed a lot. He admitted the true he thoughtfully denied. I am a mess right now!
I truly recommend you this book. Start the series right now and discover the lies and true that wrapped Harper, Christopher and Sutton’s love triangle. I am afraid to read the following book altough I am excited to read more about the mind-blowing story that queen Skye Warren has created.
Seducing, tempting and intense are the first words that came to my mind in order to describe this book. Everything screams all-consuming masterpiece! The love triangle romances won't be the same after reading this book. Thanks to Skye Warren I will have the highest expectations.

This is the 2nd book in the series. Although you do have the novella book 1 at the beginning of this book you should read it before starting this one.
We pick right back up with Harper & Christopher. Harper is now 24 and has finished college and has been selling her art work to help her and her mother live and survive. Christopher has been paying the monthly college tuition bill of course, that's about all though. Harper's mother has developed cancer and has been in and out of the hospital with cancer and radiation treatments. Harper has asked the trust fund for money to put in a butterfly exhibit at the hospital and Christopher has said no. This means that Harper's mother isn't getting into the medical trial that they had hoped for. Christopher doesn't seem to reason any. He see's the trust fund as yes or no, black or white, there is no grey with Christopher.
Harper flies to NY to confront Christopher about this, when she goes to the company and his floor / room she see's someone new, who is not Christopher. She meet's Sutton, who is Christopher's business partner. Sutton seems to be more fun and dirty mouthed than his business partner Christopher with his Southern accent but you shouldn’t be fooled, he is just as ruthless as him and more manipulative than Christopher.
Sutton and Harper have eyes for each other. But Harper has eyes for Christopher. Christopher has eyes for Harper. But keeps his feeling close to his chest, especially his feeling for Harper. He shouldn’t want her but he does and is very jealous that Sutton was on his knees while Harper’s dress is up. He doesn’t feature a lot in this book but the scenes he’s in I just wanted him to drag Harper away from Sutton and claim her for his own.
Will Harper choose between Sutton and Christopher? Or will she choose them both?

Survival of the Richest is one of those books that keeps your heart in knots. Much like Harper, I found myself torn. Torn between what I thought I should want, what I think I really wanted and what I didn't know I wanted. There's just something about the way Skye Warren writes and creates her stories that sucks you in and holds on to you. It's something I can't get enough of, even when I know eventually it's going to spit me out with some kind of heart break or some other emotion that just makes you feel raw and vulnerable.
Who knew that first year college boy who came into Harper's life so many years ago would elicit some of the most emotional things she would ever go through. Hate, love and everything between. There's so much history between these two they they don't even understand what is going on. But then another man enters the picture and they are forced to discover who they are and what they want.
I'm going to be honest, I know a lot of people just can't stand the idea of having to choose between two lovers in their romance stories. Me? I love them. If I go through the entire story and my emotions are lobbying back and forth as much as the characters are, then I'm happy. I want to feel and experience what the characters are going through, like Harper. I was torn just as must as she was that only once again shows how well developed Warren creates her characters and stories. I felt for Sutton. I felt for Christopher. I felt for Harper. That means I was invested.
If you are looking a potential childhood friends to love romance with the added bonus of another vying for the same love, then you need to read this book. Sure, it leaves you on a cliff hanger but that's just another thing I love. It keeps me guessing. It keeps me thinking about them. It keeps them revenant. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

4.5 push and pull stars!! I am definitely not a love triangle kinda girl but this book changed my thinking a bit.
This is book one in “Survival of the Richest” series.
❤️❤️
So we met many of these characters in Skye’s other books (and I love that each book kind of spins off another) and I love that I already had a history. We know Harper was enamoured with Christopher from day one. She stays hung up on him for quite awhile. Years later enters Sutton and that’s when this triangle lights up!! Be ready for some sexual tension, pushing and pulling, and all out war.
❤️❤️
I love this group of people!! My favorite is the triangle though. This is one triangle I wouldn’t mind being a part of!! I couldn’t choose my darn self. I know as a reader it drives you nuts not having a top runner but I would change my mind constantly. Dang it, this author was good. She got me to fall for each of these men! And each for completely separate reasons.
I think Harper is a rich little girl who yes has lived in the real world but still has that spoiled mentality. Her mother irks the heck out of me. The tears because mommy will have to find a new husband to survive is a joke. Get a job. I will note that this book had many hidden feminine power moments and I love it. Also, there was a lot of history on mythical beings and stories behind them and besides loving the triangle that was my favorite parts.
I am a daddy’s girl so I also enjoyed the daddy-daughter stuff. No I can’t relate to being a rich spoiled girl but I can relate to wanting to make my father proud while trying to be myself also. It was a really great book with beautiful back stories. This is a great, quick summer read!!

4.5 Stars!!
I was excited for this book because I wanted Christopher, Harper and Sutton’s story! I was intrigued by their characters in Escort and in the Endgame series by Skye Warren.
Harper is what I love in a heroine. Not only is she beautiful but she is also smart, sassy and feisty.
Christopher is ever the gorgeous white knight. He holds himself to a standard that denies him what he wants, trying to live up to a ghost’s idea of him. He is also driven, smart and sexy. Love him.
Sutton seems laid back and easy going but he’s nobody’s fool. Hot, smart, seductive and cunning, he knows what he wants and will get it.
The chemistry is off the charts between Sutton and Harper. The push/pull between Harper and Christopher is intense. They are all sexy AF! Seriously I would not mind being in the middle of these two enticing men. But that’s a different story. As for our trio, one pursues what he wants, consequences be damned; the other wars with himself and his desires; and she is torn between the past and the present. What’s a girl to do?
The relationships are complex. Not an easy situation. This story is a little angsty with emotions running high. There are unexpected twists and turns that had me like “what? Why?” Not everything is as it seems. It is fast-paced, edge of your seat reading, wondering what will happen next.
Author Skye Warren does not disappoint. Survival of the Richest is an edgy, unconventional triangle where I love both male characters, but, I know who I want together. This book was a nail biter for me as I raced to the end to see who Harper would choose. And that ending?! Killed me! I need more, like yesterday!!

I had the fabulous opportunity to read and advanced copy of Skye Warren's most recent novel, Survival of the Richest. I fell in love with Warren's style when I read The Pawn, the first novel in the Endgame trilogy. I was sucked in immediately and devoured that trilogy. It's dark and twisted and full of suspense. The plot twists were beyond anything I ever anticipated. And thus, I have since been a devoted reader and follower of Skye Warren. True to form, Survival of the Richest did not disappoint!
This story begins on a yacht off the Northeast coastline. Warren introduces Harper, our main character and "spoiled little rich girl," at least that's the facade the world believes. Harper is introduced to her new step-brother, Christopher. Immediately, Harper dismisses Christopher believing he and his mother won't be around long enough for her to really invest any time in developing a relationship with him. But, when he saves her life and keeps her secret, Harper begins to believe Christopher may be different than she originally believed.
As it always happens, people grow apart and grow up, money changes things, and love triangles never end well. Harper finds herself in a love triangle with none other than Christopher and his business associate, Sutton. But can she truly let her feelings for Christopher go, even when he is pushing her away? Is Sutton really the man he portrays himself to be? Or is all not as it seems?
Now, I absolutely HATE cliffhangers. Especially when the next book isn't available yet. And Skye Warren delivered a blow when she ended his novel with a question promised to be answered in the next installment of the series. So I will patiently, not so much, wait for the next book to find out if Harper really does let Christopher walk out of her life or if she will fight back...stay tuned.

I love Tanglewood. I don't think that I want to live there at all, but I do so love to visit through Skye Warren's books. And it's no different when it comes to Survival of the Richest. This book starts out at wow and ends up at OMG and twisted my heart all the way through. I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through the wait to see what's coming next. It will probably kill me.
Harper goes back and forth between her divorced parents, her very rich father, and her mother who keeps trying to marry to keep them in house and home. Every year, when she goes to visit her father, it seems like he has a new wife. This time, the new wife comes with a step-brother. When 15 year old Harper meets Christopher, she's perfectly happy to ignore him, they all know it's just a temporary connection. But when he saves her after she falls into the ocean, maybe it's not so temporary.
Eventually, things happen that leaves Christopher in charge of Harper's money until she turns 25, which leaves them butting heads and Harper feeling like she hates Christopher. When she goes to confront him, then explosions start to happen.
Oh man. Oh man. Oh man. The tension in this book. The triangle between Sutton, Christopher, and Harper is just so intense. I really wonder what Sutton's game is. I don't trust him any further than I can throw him. I pretty much want him to go straight to hell. But yeah, this is the kind of thing that Skye Warren does so well. It's really similar to what she did with Damon and Penny. It's always good to see a master at work. I can't wait until we see the next one.

Harper has struggled her entire life with money and the power that it has over people. Her father is one of the richest men in the country who finds a new wife every year, while her mother did her best to care for her daughter by capturing the hearts of wealthy men who paid for their lifestyle.
One night while trying to drown her sorrows, Harper is rescued by her current step-sibling, Christopher. They soon form an undeniable bond that they share for many years to come. Christopher becomes the head of Harper’s estate when her father unexpectedly passes away, leaving his fortunes to her in the form of a trust fund that she can have after turning twenty-five. Until then, Christopher will decide when and where she can spend her money.
A few years later when Harper’s mother falls ill with cancer, she seeks out Christopher hoping to receive money from her trust fund to care for her mother. Soon she meets Christopher’s business partner, Sutton, who wants to claim Harper for his own and help her care for her mother.
Will Christopher finally step up and express the feelings that he harbors inside for Harper, or will Sutton be the one to claim Harper’s heart and be her knight in shining armor?
The love triangle in Survival of the Richest is smoking hot! Christopher and Sutton both want Harper for their own, but each man has different ways of showing his affection. The story’s ending has a great cliffhanger, leaving you desperate for the rest of their story.

Soul crushing, bone-deep heartache, is what I felt when I finished the final page of this first installment in Skye Warren's new series.
Harper doesn't trust men, doesn't believe in love and who could fault her.
Christopher, the one she loves is cruel and uncaring, but is he?
Sutton, pursues with purpose, but is he sincere?
In true Warren fashion, the words flow from the page in a vortex of emotion, but I finished feeling empty and heart-broken. It's true what they say, people may not remember what you say, but they will always remember how you made them feel.
I recommend you prepare yourself to feel a bit weepy, but safe in the knowledge that the author won't abandon us here.

It has been a while since I’ve read a Skye Warren book. I had forgotten how well she writes. Her books are always extremely well written, full of intelligent conversation, with subtle wit and plenty of anticipation.
This new release is a perfect example of her stellar storytelling ability. She definitely kept me on my toes wondering what’s next. Who is it going to be? When will they ever figure it out? And the ending…. Oh my gosh. While not a cliffhanger, per se, it is definitely not the way you want it to end. Frustration!
One thing I loved about this book is the way she writes about the steaming connection between Christopher and Harper. You knew it was going to be explosive. But I had no idea the depth of the connection was going to be what it was. Gah! Heartbreaking and painful are a few words that come to mind. Stubborn is up there too.
And Sutton - what a naughty boy... Oh, what a tangled story we read. With Harper torn between two men, the emotional push/pull was so tangible. My heart was a bit bruised by the end.
Skye Warren has crafted a story full of detail, emotion, pride, stubbornness, deep love, and a load of other adjectives. But the heated love connection and the build up to the cliffhanger... She's killing me. Now we wait for book 2 ....

Color my surprised, mind-effed, and totally seduced. This book was N-O-T-H-I-N-G like what I thought it was going to be. Skye Warren is one of those auto-read authors for me, so I just dove head first into this book. And I'm left needing so much more. Two men fight for the love of one woman. But that one woman is fighting for the attention of one man, until she blooms under the giving attention of another. And the ping-pong of yes, no, none, both, had my head spinning until I didn't know who I loved, who I hated, who I was rooting for, or who anyone truly was. I was left bereft in the sweetest, yes most heartbreaking of ways.
All I can say for certain is do not by any circumstances get your heart set on anyone. It's almost impossible. In love triangles I'm usually squarely in one camp, but with this one I flipped, flopped, and was shocked on more than one or even two occasions. Survival of the Richest is alluring and seductive. Consider me completely enraptured until I get the conclusion to this story. I need to know how this ends for Harper, Christopher and Sutton. I pretty much know HOW I want this to end, but I fear having to get to that ending, because so far this has been a torturous journey, but I loved every second of it.
Happy Reading!

Normally I do not like love triangles but Christopher, Sutton and in particular Harper weave together through their own darkness. It was an interesting story and at no time did I become agitated with the indecision and confusion by Harper.
At times I was as indecisive as Harper as to who I thought would feed her heart and soul.
Towards the end I admit I probably always wanted Christopher to choose Harper. Their beginning which is told in the Trust Fund (Prologue) probably cemented my love for Christopher.
My most favourite part of this story was the relationship between Harper and her parents . How that affected Harper’s life was really interesting. Then throw in Christopher’s part and the tale is woven with manipulation from her father.
Sutton was dark and dangerous and there are some great erotic moments. His friendship with Christopher and his own personal demons gave another layer to this story.
We meet the Thieves club and also other characters from the Endgame and Masterpiece Series which I loved. It was great to see Avery, Penny and Damon Scott.
This is going to be another great duet series by Skye Warren that I am going to devour.
Quote: It doesn’t feel like a loss. It feels like being free.

This is the first book I have read by Skye Warren and I have to say that I am ashamed that it took me this long to read some of her work!
I have to say holy love triangle!! This was so much more than I bargained for and I am still reeling over what happened! I really don't want to say much about this book other than if you read the synopsis it will give you a great insight but for the real fun you have to read the book!
But I want to touch on some of the characters for just a smidge of a second because knowing your characters is a vital part of any story!
Lets start with Christopher... Christopher had a way of frustrating me like no other character! He was loyal to the biggest fault, and controlling. But I have this love hate thing for Christopher so it kept me intrigued about him.
Sutton was such a sexy piece of man meat with so much to offer! Sutton made some serious dreams come true for the whole audience that was reading! You cant go wrong with Sutton!
Harper is seen as the soiled little pretty rich girl but has so much more depth to her than people realize! She made such huge statements that it was hard to ignore her and what she had to say!
This is a series that I definitely look forward to continuing!

Survival of the Richest was an angsty and emotional read that held me spellbound from the first page. My emotions were swept away on an rollercoaster ride I didn't want to end.
From the very beginning the author hooked me with the teases of the relationship developing between Harper and Christopher. Harper was an interesting mix of innocence with an inner wild child that you can't help but love. There was so much more to Harper than meets the eye and I loved how both Sutton and Christopher brought her to life in their own ways.
Christopher and Sutton were polar opposites but both men drew Harper's attention. Where Christopher is constant, proper, refined, and appears cold Sutton is bold, brash, and swept into Harper's life like a force of nature. The triangle that develops between them is unique and by the end your emotions will have been put through the wringer right along with these compelling characters.
Survival of the Richest was an angsty and emotional read. The author's gripping writing took me on rollercoaster ride I was unsure of at first yet didn't want to get off by the end. The great news is there is still more to come for this trio and I can't wait to see what direction their story takes!

How do I even begin to describe Survival Of The Richest? Wow doesn't even begin to cover it. Skye Warren pulled me in engrossing storytelling and made get me on an emotional rollercoaster that me crashing at the end. In a good way! My favorite thing about Skye Warren as an author is the way she writes her characters backstories; they are well done, well written and just fit into the narrative of her books. They aren't confusing at all and add even more depth to her story and characters. And man...does she make a backstory for Harper.
A torn apart family, a sad and lonely little girl pulled back and forth between parents, more money than you can imagine and a twisted twosome falling for another is what you can expect in Survival Of The Richest. Necessarily not in that order. To make matters even MORE complicated, Harper starts developing feelings for a man close to Christopher and I'm not going to spoil anything but HOLY COW. Things get so complicated, like nail biting complicated.
Survival Of The Richest ends on a cliffhanger unfortunately but I can't wait for more of this crazy, rollercoaster love story! Skye Warren is definitely one of authors that comes out of left field and continues to surprise and awe me! Can't wait for more of this series!

I'll be honest, I didn't know this was part of a duet I just read it because the author is one of my favorites...this is such a great story, it has so many different romantic aspects. A step brother, his business partner and the girl Harper. Harper hasn't gotten over her step brother Christopher and in Trust Fund you really get to like him but here, he was much more of the jerk, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Sutton is bound and determined to win Harper's heart even if it is already taken.
Harper and her art is honestly my favorite thing about this book...her attention to details and her obsession with Medusa is what really drew me in.
This book is so well written and you can see how torn Harper is throughout the book. This is told in Harper's POV and we get so many different emotions and let me tell you, you may be torn at times on who she should end up with and yet you understand why she can't choose and why she has the feelings she does. And her spunk and spice is why these two guys both have a thing for her.
If you are like me you may have a preference at this point, but I am not opposed to changing my mind. This author has a way that would easily be able to do that for me. I can't wait for August.

Soooo many cuss words are flying out of mouth right now! How, I mean how could you just be that cruel!! I think I still have a little bit of whiplash stinging.
Out of every book I've read from this author, this surpasses everything I've ever read. It's like a crazy, constant of emotions that zoom in and steal the pages.
If your are familiar with Avery's story, you remember her best friend Harper. She was such a mystery with a hidden bank account. We meet her daddy finally before the story blows up. Along with her step- brother, Christopher.
Christopher comes with hard lines and a very sharp tongue. He makes it hard to believe he is going to come around.
Enter Sutton, the mysterious business partner and friend, that Harper hasn't met before. He commands attention and steals her thoughts without an effort.
I honestly don't know who played who better throughout this story. Each character dives you mad constantly. Yet I feel like everyone plays such an important part, it's hard to hate anyone.
It will steal your soul in these pages and leave you hanging on the last words. I'm still unsure exactly what just happened at the end. I do know that once you start, this novel won't let you out until the final page...

Time has passed and Harper continues to expand and grow as an artist. The money she makes from her paintings supports her mother and pays for the cancer treatments. Now that she is in remission, it is imperative that Harper gains some control over her trust fund in order to continue to pay for treatments that will help her mother continue to survive.
Christopher, as always, is still blocking her use of the trust fund to pay for anything that deals with her mother. So Harper decides to visit him in Tanglewood and confront him once again. Little did she know this encounter would change not only their relationship but her future.
An interesting dilemma arises as she falls under the spell of Sutton (Christopher's partner) and continues her crush on Christopher. The triangle that forms between them is impossible to sustain. Is it a competition or is this true love? As the fight over the future of a historical building, our story draws an undercurrent of parallels between our characters and the future of this site. Is it time to demolish the past or is it time to build a new future regardless of the cost to them?

WHAT IN THE ABSOLUTE HELL DID I JUST READ?! I NEVER SAW ALL OF THAT COMING THAT'S FOR SURE! Am I being too dramatic with the all caps?! Oh for sure, but seriously, I'm not sure why I ever think that the brilliant Skye Warren ever fits into any sort of neat box because SHE NEVER EVER WILL, AND YES, I'M YELLING AGAIN OUT LOUD WHILE I TYPE THIS! Like the blurb states, it all starts with a fall into the cold water of Manhattan's Harbor for Harper. Which starts a journey between her & Christopher, who I got attached to but needed to be junk punched. Then just when I think I know something, another man named Sutton, is added to the mix, who I get attached to as well but he needs to be junk punched as well. So basically I'm all for junk punches all around since I can't choose what team I'm for, and I'm just mad at both. What a insane tangled web that leads to all kinds of twists that kept the f-bombs dropping like mad leading to the biggest one yet. So yeah, not sure how to wrap my head around this story, have all kinds of questions left, so guessing it's not the end? But I can say this with certainty, I devoured it in one sitting so I'm going to HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This story was everything! The storyline is full of angst, sexual tension and power play at it’s best. Harper St. Claire is rich on paper due to her father’s will. Christopher Bardot is not only her step brother but Harper’s first and only true love. Did I mention Christopher is the one person Harper’s dad appointed to be the executor over finances. Harper would not receive her trust fund until she’s 25. Until then she would rely on her paintings to help support her mom (who was completely cut out of her ex husband’s will). Harper was tired of seeing her mom struggle with finances. She’s determined to make another plea to Christopher about giving her more money when stomps her way into his office. She’s thrown off guard we she meets the sexy bad boy and Christopher’s business partner Sutton Mayfair. Sutton’s southern drawl and dirty mouth is unexpected and a guilty pleasure for Harper. Now Harper has two men bidding for her attention. Christopher, the forbidden, taboo, true love, stepbrother and Sutton Mayfair the one man who awakens the deepest sexual pleasures of her wildest dreams. This story is sooooo good! A must read!!!!

What have you done to me, Ms. Skye Warren??!! My jaw was dropped. My heart break. My emotion is all over. And my head...i need time to actually write this review and i'm still not sure what to write.
Finish in one sitting, this book makes you feels everything. Swoon, jeolous, anger, lust, anxieaty, love, passion. And not to just one man, but two impossible to denied men.
I was torn to choose side. Team ChrisHarper or team SuttonHarper. Cause my oh my these two man sure can make the smartest girl go crazy.
And Skye Warren know how to play that string to reel you in, hooked and sink you until the only thing you want is more.

NOOOO!!! It can not possibly end that way! This whole book had me tied up in knots from the first page. I seriously almost read the entire book holding my breathe to see what decision was made next and i honestly still don’t know what I want the outcome to be and the ending didn’t make it any easier for me to decide.
Christopher is just one more stepbrother that Harper has to endure growing up. With her parents having a revolving door of husbands and wives she knows not to get attached. But from the moment she lays eyes on him she knows that he is going to be different. But not one time did she expect him to change everything.
How quickly love turns to hate and the line between fades to nothing. When she thinks he has reached his lowest, she meets Sutton, Christopher’s business partner. If she thought she was confused before, nothing can prepare her for the confusion of wanting two men.
This book does not give us their end story, it only gives us their beginning. I suggest getting started with this one now so that you can be ready for when the next book comes out!

Harper may appear to be the daughter of wealthy parents who is wasting her life with no real purpose however that is only what she shows to the world. Inside she is a mass of insecurity and contradictions as a result of her parent’s divorce and trying to maintain the balance of keeping both of them happy.
Christopher is her step-brother and since the death of her father he is responsible for handling her trust account. He is controlling , doesn’t show his feelings and leaves Harper on edge never knowing what if anything she means to him even though her feelings run much deeper.
Sutton is outgoing and determined to win Harper and is willing to pull out all the stops. He has a way of making her feel special but is there more to his interest than she knows?
The chemistry explodes off the pages and the cliff hanger leaves you wondering which man is the right man for her. I know that there is a lot more layers to be peeled back on all three characters and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

OMG I love Skye!! Her stories are amazing and they always include everyone from the past stories. Harper has had a different life than most anybody, she has been rich and she has been poor. Christopher being her step-brother once did not stop them from forging a lasting relationship, but neither of them knew where it was going. Meeting Sutton in Christopher's office only threw Harper further off. Trying to balance her feelings for the trust fund, her father, Christopher and Sutton is something Harper may never be able to figure out. She first has to learn to live with herself and be happy.

This is the continuation of 'Trust Fund'. Fast forward 4 years and little Harper St Claire is all grown up. Christopher Bardot is still being a pain in her side but her feelings haven't really changed about him. Then she meets Sutton, Christopher's business partner. He has all the right moves, says all the right things. Sparks fly between the two of them but in the back of her mind Christopher is still there, taunting her and making her second guess herself.
Who will win her heart and show their true self? Lies are told, games are played but not everything seems to be real.

Harper, Christopher and Sutton... where to begin, where to end? Where to give me more this hot trio that keeps you wanting more when you hit the last page they are that hot. Harper has come a long way since we first saw her in Trust Fund. Now a college graduate dealing with a mother with cancer, a trust fund that is still out of her reach and two men pawing for her attention. Harper comes a long away in finding her way in the world to be the Queen of the world of the rich. But what she has to do with it, involves a lot of paint, a lot of pain, and saving her self from society.

Addicting! After reading Trust Fund the prelude to this book, I was like "hey I know how this story goes". Wrong! I was so wrong. It has been 4 years since Harper's father past and Christopher was put in charge of her trust fund. Getting to know Harper and Christopher better in this book adding light to the situation at hand. I'm still thinking I know what's going to happen but no n comes Sutton, good lord that man brought me to my knees!! So it's like a love triangle but he is honest and who is playing the game. Sutton is Christopher business partner and starts inserting his self in Harper's life but is true to his feelings, I'm still on the fence with that one. This book had thinking what was going to happen, who loved who and where was it going. This is definitely a book everyone should read. Oh and the surprise near the end, I did not see coming so yeah expect the unexpected. I'm hoping and praying there is more to this story.

No one knew about Christopher saving Harper when she fell overboard. Her new sexy stepbrother should be a hated enemy, just another casualty in the long line of men her mother brought into her life through one marriage after another. That secret should have formed a bond, but four years later, when she needs Christopher to release money from the trust fund he controls to help her mother, he refuses. Harper won't take no for an answer and storms into his office, only to come face to face with his equally sexy partner, Sutton. What's a girl to do when she has two men vying for her attention and her heart is torn in two different directions?
I loved this love triangle story It is emotional, sexy and had me frantically flipping pages. The ending has me desperate for book two and though I think I'm leaning toward Team Christopher, Sutton is a tall sexy drink of water too.

Continues the turbulent story of Christopher and Harper. When Harper confronts Christopher she meets his new business partner Sutton. Harper is frustrated by Christopher’s holding of her trust fund. She cons Christopher into releasing some funds if she helps them with a business deal.
A gripping, sexy read. The relationship between the three players is turbulent. I liked touching base with the characters from the previous Tanglewood books. Brilliantly crafted story that had me on edge. Absolutely wonderful!!

Holy drama Batman! This book is gonna grab you by the throat! This story isn't gonna let you go until maybe the end...It still has me thinking...
This is the story of Harper, Christopher and Sutton. Yeah, that's right, it's three people. And what a tangled web they weave.
Harper has a true artist soul. She is a child of divorce. She walks the fine line between her mother and her father, sharing only enough to appease both. She is fierce in her beliefs. She is a true rock star, even though she doesn't feel like it.
Christopher, so stoic, so stable. He saves Harper, even when she doesn't want him to. He hides his true feelings for everyone and everything. He wants what he feels he can't have. He is an enigma...I so hope to learn more about him.
Sutton is pure southern charm. He is a player in the true sense. He loves the hunt, he loves the chase. He knows what he is up against and goes for it anyway. Is he a true southern gentleman or is he hiding something?
The chemistry in this story is just....man, I can't even come up for the right word. There is particularly one scene...you will know it when you read it, that is just epic!
I am so torn! Which team should I cheer for? Team Christopher or Team Sutton? Trust me when you read this, you will have the same dilemma.
I have so many questions when I finished this! I need to know so much more! I am waiting on pins and needles for the next book in this series!
This is definitely a MUST READ! Skye, I bow down to your fabulousness, your talent, your epic storytelling skills! You have a gift and I am so glad you share it with us readers!!

Here I was all excited to read the continuation of Trust Fund! I dove in with this over-exuberance that Skye Warren’s books bring out in me… and, now, here I am sit dying for the next installment, The Evolution of Man to be released. I was immediately all for Christopher in the prologue in Trust Fund. I wavered after getting more of the story. I’m not hugely into love triangles but I’m into this author and her creative writing, her characters that I love to love and love to hate. Man, Ms. Warren pulled out all the stops in Survival of the Richest. I was so unsure who I was rooting for half the book but I should have always known I’d be on Christopher’s side. He just pulled me in right from the start.
Enough about that before I end up on a rant that I cannot get into because not everyone has read this yet! Just like I’ve come to expect from Ms. Warren, her books are packed, like SUPER DUPER bursting at the seams packed, with heat. I’ll give it to Sutton, he sure turns up the temperature but Christopher has captured my heart! This could just rival #TeamJacob and #TeamEdward obsession levels! Ms. Warren does a fantastic job at confusing your mind and your heart. I love reading and it makes it even better when an author is able to get me so invested in their story. I feel so muddled about this book! Fan-friggin-tastic job Ms. Warren! You’ve left me wondering which way is up and which way is down!

Another book in the town of Tanglewood which is great to see how Avery and Penny are doing. Harper was a reoccuring person in Avery's storyline being that they were best friends. So back to this book. It was very addicting and I read it in one setting. As they say, Money is the root of all evils!!! Harper's father is a billionaire and her parents are divorced. Each marrying different people throughout after their divorce. but one person that her father married, had a son Christopher who Harper was very much in love with. Eventually he divorced that women but stayed close to the stepson Christopher. Her father has a heart attack and dies and in the will he leaves everything to Harper, but with one catch. It is in trust till she is 25 years old and Christopher is in charge of the trust. We pick up and few years later, now in Tanglewood and Christopher has a partner in business named Sutton who is very attractive.. Anyway, the book is a great read but without giving away spoilers it seems to end without a real conclusion. She has both men's attention and they both seem to want her and she is conflicted be I think her real love is Christopher. I do hope there is another book and it doesn't end here because it felt unfinsihed but It was a great book..

This wasn't quite like any other love-triangle I've read before, and I mean that in a good way!
Harper and Christopher were step-siblings for a minute or two, but that was all that was needed. In that minute or two, something sparked between them and a bond was formed. Everything was all well and good, and it might've developed into something else, but tragedy changed their course. A by the book guy, Christopher always does what it right. Harper learns to smile and fake it no matter what, but Christopher still pushes her buttons
Years have passed, and Harper goes to confront Christopher, she meets his business partner, Sutton. He makes her light up in ways she never thought of before. She is always ready to throw caution to the wind with him, but Christopher is always there. While she tries to sort out who she is, who she wants, and how she feels, life keeps happening around her, to her.
As confused as Harper is, she finally believes she had made the best choice for her, and that everything will be settled. But in the end, did she make her choices based on only what she saw, and what had really happened? She should have known better than to not look at all the angles before making her decision.........

Wow what a story. I loved every single minute spent reading this novel. Survival of the Richest was an addictive, entralling, captivating love triangle that will have you hooked from beginning to end. My goodness I really couldn't put this book down. The author gave us such a tale that each page left you wanting more. You will think you know what to expect but then something changes and everything subtly shifts.
The main characters were all complex flawed individuals and the author wrote them in such a way that you would love them all and be rooting for each one of them. Are you #TeamChristopher or #Team Sutton? You will firmly believe you are on one team and then the story twists and you just might be on the other team.
The story although seemingly simple enough had so much more happening and was interwoven with enough angst and emotions to tug at your heartstrings. I've finished the story and I can't get it out of my mind.
This page-turner was by far one of the best love triangles I've read. It was a well-written phenomenal read and I would highly recommend it.

This page-turner was by far one of the best love triangles I've read. It was a well-written phenomenal read and I would highly recommend it.
**I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.**

Okay, I need to take a breather right now because ..... WOW, this book just blew me away.
I enjoyed this book so much that I was glued to my device and absorbed each and every word that was written in this book.
Survival of the Richest is my first book by Skye Warren and shame on me for not reading her before because now I have declared her to be on my top go to authors. I love discovering new to me authors especially when they have won me over with their beautiful words and their compelling stories.
I am in bliss right now after finishing reading this magnificent book.
Three wonderful characters with a remarkable storyline that will leave you gasping for more.
When I read a synopsis and/or an excerpt and it has a love triangle involved!! Then this book is definitely for me. I love this trope only because it leaves me shattered to the core and always feel like I am in a dilemma not knowing which way to go or who should stay with who especially when all three characters are wonderful. I love being put in that situation because it just makes it harder for "me" to determine who should stay with who and then I'm reeling at the end with how it ends.
I love getting myself (reading) in these situations because it gives me a thrill. I feel a rush that I don't feel with any other trope out there. My heart starts beating fast and I am just talking to myself inwards saying "who should she pick or who should he pick" I am at the end of my seat just waiting for the unexpected.
This was a total thrill ride for me and I absolutely, highly recommend reading this book.
Harper may have been a spoiled little rich girl but she wasn't one to take advantage. Her mother always came first and she would go out of her way to make her mother happy no matter what. Sutton and Christopher were AMAZING in their own way. I was torn both ways because they are so opposite of each other, but both held an immense attraction towards Harper but Christopher also felt the need to be overbearing and protective of her ever since he met her.
I am still trying to get my wits together over here -- if I didn't mention it before, I'll mention it now or again I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!
5 Survival of the Richest STARS!!

I was torn to choose side. Team ChrisHarper or team SuttonHarper. Cause my oh my these two man sure can make the smartest girl go crazy.
And Skye Warren know how to play that string to reel you in, hooked and sink you until the only thing you want is more.

Hooked from the beginning ….Skye pulls you in with the novella Trust Fund and then takes you for a very wild ride in the Survival of the Richest.
Harper is a young woman trying to figure herself and the world around her. Meeting Christopher on her fathers yacht was a game changer . He was strong, protective and unobtainable. They drift though the years chatting by phone, text and email. Until he now assumes the power of her trust. Sutton he is a delicious mysterious southern man that also just happens to be a friend or shall we say business associate of Christopher. Both of these men have an interest in Harper but only one decides to make the move! It is a game of cat, mouse. money and mystery !! Love it !!

It was great to return to Tanglewood; the home of Gabriel Miller and Damon Scott! Skye Warren introduces us to two new hot alpha males; this time it's business partners Sutton and Christopher who fight for the attention of Harper St Claire with passion so hot that it will have the pages of your kindle melting!
I love a good love triangle and this one will certainly keep you on your toes! Like Harper, I'm torn between which one I want to to end up with. Told from a first person POV, the book takes you on a steamy ride with secrets brewing and plenty of questions left hanging needing answers. This book ends in a cliffhanger but then what good love triangle book doesn't?! Filled with angst and mystery this book will keep you hooked and the pages turning!

Whoa. I’m left flailing for more. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a cliffhanger as much as I did this story. I am torn, unable to decide who I want to see her end up with. I loved Christopher and Sutton both, a complete toss up on who I wanted more. This story held a lot of emotion; love, hurt, happiness and hopelessness. I’m blown away by how enthralled I found myself. I need to read the next book ASAP. Counting down the days now.

I am going to be honest, I wanted to read Survival of the Richest because Skye Warren is an automatic one click author for me. However.... I was not expecting that AT ALL!
I am sure that if I would have taken the time to read the blurb , I would have thought twice about reading it because i do not like love triangle, it really is not my thing.
When I realised it was a triangle story, it was too late for me, I was gone, addicted and intrigued.
LOVED IT!!!

Oh harper. The way shes insecure inside but puts up the brave front. I absolutely love her but ugh.. her Cleopatra painting!! So many questions with Sutton but that was a darn good ending to the book.

Survival of the Richest, by Skye Warren, was well beyond what I anticipated after reading Trust Fund. Amazing, addictive, enchanting, heart breaking and more.

This book was soooo intense!! Humphrey is so likeable and lovable, Christopher is dark, but intense, and Sutton is so sweet and dangerous! The whole situation was very intense from the beginning, between Humphrey and Christopher, but also between her and Sutton. I just couldn’t read fast enough, and then it was a cliffhanger!!! I hate cliffhangers!!! But somehow loved this story, and will have to wait for the next book release in order to learn who she ends up with! Not cool!!

Harper is torn between her feelings for Christopher and what’s developing between her and Sutton. There is definitely some wow moments that are unbelievably hot but there is also plenty of story!
Be aware this story ends on a cliffhanger but final book will release at the end of September.

Harper is 15 the first time she meets her newest "stepbrother" Christopher if you can call him that since she knows he won't be around for long just like all the others. There is something different about him - she even goes so far as strike up a friendship with by writing letters back and forth. What happens three years later confuses her and him and to make matters worse she gas to have some contact with him on a regular basis. Why you may ask? You will need to read this great book by Skye Warren to find out! You will not want to put it down once you start reading!

I love Skye Warren's tales. She's a master in weaving dangerous and dark stories that leave us breathless and wanting more. Harper and Christopher have history together that even when Sutton starts openly pursuing her, what Christopher and Harper have still blazes. He's not the man that went after her but part of it is his responsibility to her father about the trust fund. But Harper's artistic and genuine soul wrecked havoc that made him relinquish his rights in the end. Will that be the end of them? I am already into The Evolution Of Man and each page is stronger with feels. Love it nonetheless!???

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!
Ahhh. I'm going crazy here for many reasons. First and foremost, did I miss a book Tanglewood book of Skye's somewhere. I don't remember Blue. I have some major stalking and investigating to do. I'm appalled at myself that I've let one slip through my bookwhore sight. And I call myself a book whore. *hangs head in shame* So if any of you out there read this and know of the book, let me know. I need to restore my bookwhore pride in myself here.
Now the second thing...I was so torn throughout the rest of the book after Sutton was introduced. Who should Harper end up with?
And then...that ending! UGH! Craziness. Absolute craziness. I need the next book and thank the kindle gods that the ARC is sitting on my virtual bookshelf just waiting to be devoured. Work, laundry, chores be damned because this book whore will be all kinds of tied up with The Evolution of Man.
