Wicked Bite (Realm Enforcers Book 5)

Finally! Bear gets his book. I feel like I've been waiting forever for Bear to get his HEA and now I get to find out what he's all about in this final book of the Realm Enforcers Series, Wicked Bite.

This is going to be a tough review to write because there's so much I want to cover but not give any of the plots away. So I'm going to keep my lips zipped tight but there are a few questions I can answers. Apollo, yes we find out who is behind it. No, I see it coming because I was too busy enjoying what was happening between Nessa and Bear. Bear more than meets his match in Nessa. I didn't think there could be a more secretive character in this series than Cee Cee from Wicked Edge - I was wrong. Nessa is wicked smart and has some crazy ideas that keep both Bear and us readers, on our collective toes. Poor guy, just when he thinks he's got in under control she throws a giant secret curveball at him. Let's not forget the hotness that goes on between Bear and Nessa, and yet her conditions on becoming mated but not bonding. Now that was some funny stuff right there!

Lots of action and adventure with past characters coming to help out. Poor King, he's always been underestimated and questioned. LOL!!! Best part we get to find out what is going on in their lives. All the stories lines get tied up quite nicely here but the journey to get there is fast paced and wicked fun. Be prepared to be up all night reading because this is one book that will be hard to put down.

When I first started this series, I immediately fell in love with it. Exciting, funny, and sexy, this series had it all. I was also feeling a bit lost as I was very new to Ms. Zanetti's books. Now that the Realm Enforcers Series has ended, I think it's time I get those lingering questions answered...like King. So even though I must bid this series a fond farewell, I know I have another exciting adventure to look forward to. Grab yourself a copy Wicked Bite and get ready for a fun ride!

This is the fifth and final book in the Realm Enforcers series, and holy hell what a ride! Action-packed, exciting, suspenseful and intriguing with a kicka** heroine, an alpha hero who will melt your heart, and a scorchingly hot romance that is full of intensity. I freaking loved it!

Each of the books in this series feature a different couple, but there is a continuous, overarching storyline and this is definitely not a standalone. The series began with the Enforcers – powerful witches tasked with protecting the Council of the Coven Nine (the witch ruling body) – investigating a deadly drug. Through four books we have watched the Enforcers desperately search to find who is producing Apollo and put a stop to it, while also battling the intricacies of witch politics, all while falling in love. This book brings the series full circle with fight coming back to US soil and an unlikely hero in Bear.

Bear is a shifter and the alpha leader of the grizzly nation. When he was first introduced in the Dark Protectors series I pictured a grizzled old man, but he is anything but! Though a century old, he looks 30, but his life has been a difficult one and he is a bit of a cranky bastard who prefers his solitude. He has created his own family of sorts and is the President of a shifter-only MC, and he and his club have been the target of DEA investigations as being involved with the production of Apollo. The last few books of the series saw Bear sucked into witchy business, and he has been through a hell of time, leaving him injured both physically on a soul-deep level, and he fears that his time is running out. And then beautiful Nessa Lansa shows up, offering him what may be his only solution.

Nessa is a witch with healing powers who briefly sat on the Council. She has searched Bear out both as a favour to a friend, and for what she hopes may be a mutually beneficial, though strictly professional, mating. She offers to heal him, and he makes her more powerful. It’s a win-win situation. But there is something more behind her plans.

I love this relationship! Initially full of snark and animosity, Bear wants nothing to do with Nessa or her offer of mating, but the chemistry between them is undeniable, and it sets up a sensational dynamic.

Adding to the awesomeness of this setup, from almost the beginning of their time together they become targets and are constantly on the defense against unknown assailants. There are explosions, gun fights, hand-to-hand fighting and even missiles and air strikes! Yes, it’s all happening, and Bear and Nessa are right in the middle of it, and the intensity of their situation brings out Bear’s protective side and only works to bring them closer together as the sexual tension builds to epic levels.

But it’s a hard road for them as they figure out what they want from each other. Secrets, betrayals and plots are uncovered, the emotion is intense, and there’s literally not a moment to rest as it all plays out. I was glued to my kindle as twist after twist was revealed and, with a little help from friends old and new, they draw closer to the final battle, falling harder and harder for each other along the way.

The romance is gorgeous. Of course the sexy time is scorching, but there’s a deeper emotional connection that is there between Bear and Nessa, and I loved watching it develop. It’s natural and realistic, and I could feel the shift of their emotions, and I thought the love story was really beautifully done.

Bear and Nessa are such fantastic characters, and I was so impressed by them as a couple. Fans of the series will already be totally in love with Bear, and his alphaness is on full display in this book, and seeing him balance his pure (totally hot) possessive need with his protectiveness and his vulnerability as he experiences love for the first time is just gorgeous. And Nessa is just perfect for him – strong, brave, highly intelligent and a total bada** herself, she isn’t afraid to stand up to him, but her big heart also proves to be exactly what he needs. I absolutely love them together!

There are some light moments which keep things fun – Bear and Nessa’s interplay is highly entertaining, and ‘the boys’ (Garrett and Logan) are great as always. I also loved the chance to catch up with Nick and Simone, as well as some classic Dage cameos. Fans of this and the Dark Protector series will love it!

The lightness, romance, action and intrigue was perfect, with everything interwoven to create a strong, solid read that I absolutely loved. A wonderful finish for a great series. I’m excited for whatever Rebecca Zanetti has for us next.

WICKED BITE is the fifth installment in Rebecca Zanetti’s contemporary, adult REALM ENFORCERS paranormal, romance series-a spin off from her Dark Protectors series. This is bear shifter Beauregard ‘Bear’ McDunphy, leader of the shifter nation, and witch healer Nessa Lansa’s story line. WICKED BITE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order as there is an ongoing investigation and premise throughout. Bear’s story line has been developing for several installments. Several characters cross over from the author’s Dark Protector series for cohesion and familiarity.

SOME BACKGROUND: Known as Apollo, the deadly injectable designer drug of ‘Planekite’ renders its’ users in a state of god-like euphoria with super human strength, eventually leaving the abusers a seething mess of pyrotechnic ash. Apollo is also one of the few drugs able to destroy and kill the witches, and the Grizzly motorcycle club is under investigation by the Coven Nine Witch’s Council as well as the supernatural world’s elite police force.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Bear and Tessa) WICKED BITE follows the ongoing search to ferret out the person(s) responsible for making and supplying the world with the designer drug known as Apollo-a drug known to kill witches and humans alike. At the end of WICKED KISS Bear McDunphy was struggling with his supernatural abilities, and thusly our hero had gone into seclusion, remaining in his bear form, in the hopes of healing what was tearing him apart. Enter former Coven Nine council member Nessa Lansa, with an offer to heal Bear for a ‘price’. What ensues is the building relationship between Nessa and Bear, the continuing hunt for the person(s) trafficking Apollo, and the struggle to stay one step ahead of more than one enemy trying to take down Nessa Lansa.

Nessa has gone into hiding claiming someone has targeted her for her abilities but more than one enemy is hoping to destroy the woman with whom Bear is falling in love. Bear McDunphy is a bit of a loner, an over protective, grumpy alpha shifter but as the leader of the shifter nation Bear is all about the take down and protection of the people he loves. Currently Bear struggles with his supernatural abilities-a dual persona that threatens to tear him apart. His relationship with Nessa struggles with our heroine’s need to keep secret the real reason for her questionable visit but it is Bear’s need to protect and claim Nessa as his mate that places our couple in the direct line of fire.

The relationship between Bear and Nessa begins as an arrangement: Bear is in desperate need of a supernatural healer, and Nessa claims to need Bear’s ‘protection’ against an unknown enemy. Nessa’s continuous lies and betrayal set into motion a relationship battle when the truth is revealed but a truth that pushes Bear a step too far. The $ex scenes are dramatic and intense-Bear has issues of trust and his mate’s ongoing betrayal brings out the animal in our story line hero.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including many of the characters introduced in the author’s Dark Protectors series including Bear’s half-sister Simone Brightston and her mate demon Nick Veis; vampire and demon Garrett Kayrs and Logan Kyllwood; ruler of the Realm King Dage Kayrs and his mate Emma: as well as Bear’s second in command Lucas, and several members of the Grizzy MC, Nessa’s second in command Jasper and her uncle Boondock. There is a hint towards the introduction of Bear’s extended family-I am hoping for another potential spin off or the continuation of the author’s Realm Enforcers.

WICKED BITE brings together shifters, demons, witches and vampires in a war to protect the supernatural realm. The premise is engaging, intriguing and energetic; the characters are sassy, passionate and dynamic; the romance is tenacious, challenging and aggressive. WICKED BITE is a revealing, fast paced and spirited story line by Rebecca Zanetti.

Being a rare healer, Nessa can manipulate cells on a molecular level that allows her to heal almost any injury or illness. Her life saving gift also prevents her from creating plasma. In her line of work, a witch that can’t throw fire is at a huge disadvantage.

Enter Bear McDunphy, a half bear and half dragon shifter. As hybrids go, Bear is one of a kind. His whole life he’d been a bear, but when his sister’s life is threatened, he somehow called forth his dormant dragon and the drastic change damaged him from the inside out. He needs Nessa’s healing abilities or his life will be cut short.

Their mating should have been a simple business transaction. By healing Bear, Nessa will mate him and in turn get his dragon fire. Too bad outside forces, not to mention her explosive chemistry with Bear, throws a wrench into Nessa’s perfectly logical plan.

I loved that the story had a nice dose of humor and suspense. It was also fast paced and action packed. Things moved along quickly but there was never a dull moment. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be invested in no time and your emotions will go through the ringer! Everything flowed nicely and thinking back, although a lot goes on, I was never tempted to skim over anything. I was engrossed in the story and the characters from page 1.

The MCs were amazing, their brand of love is intense and all-consuming and not what I would call conventional. But the more I read, the more their strengths shined through and overshadowed any flaws. Bear and Nessa were complex and multilayered characters that I easily found myself rooting form. They clicked for me and I was sad to see this one come to an end, it was that good :)

Although it can be read as a stand-alone, there are mentions of events and other characters from previous books that might pique your interest. I didn’t feel at all confused or like I was missing anything and not having read any of the previous books, I still highly enjoyed this read. I’ll definitely be making time to read the rest of this series now!

Favorite Lines: (Just realized they are all from Bear! Lol, I really like him!)

She’d searched him out for an arrangement, he no longer cared about agreements. He wanted more from her. All of her passion – her dreams and fears. Everything.

He was a simple guy. She was good, and she made the world better by being in it. She made his world a lot better. So that meant she belonged here.

His life had been calm and colorless before she arrived. Now it was chaos filled with color.

Memorable Moments:
This is an action packed read so there are quite a few moments of danger and pure adrenaline but the one that sticks out the most is the ambush at the cabin by the river. It was so intense and vivid. The panic and fear but also the courage and strength that oozed through the pages kept me riveted. The ease of the author, to be able to paint such a scene with words, it was really good. It had me at the edge of my seat!

Wicked Bite takes places three months after the events in Wicked Kiss and the drug Apollo has found itself back on the streets of Seattle. Determined to once and for all find and stop the manufacturer, witch Nessa, formerly of the Coven Nine, has decided to go under cover. Her plan: go straight to the source of the problem (or the supposed source) in Grizzly Territory, in particular the Alpha of Grizzly Nation: Bear. Nessa's plan is two-fold. Besides needing information she suspects Bear has been hiding, she's also promised Bear's sister, Simone, that she would heal him, and hopefully in the process, secure him as a mate to up her own fire powers, which are non-existent at this point. What Nessa doesn't foresee are the many people coming out of the woodwork to collect on a mysterious bounty put on her head. In order to figure out who put the hit on her, as well as who is distributing Apollo, Nessa will have to trust in the Grizzly alpha, but with that trust, Nessa will be called upon to reveal her most hidden secrets.

Bear has never liked dealing with other supernatural factions. He's always been happiest to keep his shifter separate from whatever drama they have going on. But after saving his sister, his health is failing. Despite not liking the surprise of finding a witch in his territory, Bear needs Nessa to heal him. When her plan also involves their mating, he's not sure he's completely on board with that, but he's determined to figure out what else Nessa is really doing in his territory. As the undeniable bond between them grows, and as the danger becomes ever more apparent, Bear will have to figure out if her secrets are enough to keep them apart.

After reading Wicked Kiss, I came into this book very excited to finally get Bear's story. He's been a solid secondary character for this entire series. What I didn't expect was how much I loved Nessa. So much so that I wish we would have gotten more of her throughout the series as well. But, as it stands, the glimpses we did get of her in previous books goes a long way to reinforce the idea behind her character as one that is completely underestimated. She turns out to be quite the kick-ass heroine and completely capable in her own right, to take care of herself. In this same vein, however, I loved that Rebecca Zanetti chose to make a commentary on how it's ok for even the most capable and powerful women to accept help when needed, and when they know that being helped is the best course of action, but also understanding when to step up / step in and offer their own assistance. I would have liked this commentary to have transitioned over into the sex scenes a little more though. Of course we get the hot alpha dominance, but I would have liked if things went the other direction in the case of the pairing between Nessa and Bear. I just don't think it quite hit that mark.

I'll admit, I went into this book not realizing that it's probably the last in this spin-off series based on how the storyline plays out in regards to Apollo; which has been the major story arc since the beginning. I've felt for a couple of books now, the need for this storyline to finish itself out and Rebecca Zanetti, in fact, does that here and does it in a very clever way that has been wanting to go back to the first book Wicked Ride to look for clues throughout the series. I think the story ended where it needed to end in order to keep from getting too monotonous. I enjoyed that this book brought back my fave couple Simone and Nick from Wicked Burn and gave more closure to their story.

Overall, I've enjoyed this series, and while I'm sad to see it end, I'm happy with how everything finishes. I look forward to reading what's next from Rebecca Zanetti. I would definitely recommend reading the previous books in the series before tackling this one. If you have, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Rebecca Zanetti never lets me down. Her books have a perfect thrilling pace, action packed moments, and a love story with booming power and feelings. Wicked Bite is wonderful addition to her series.

Even though a vast amount of Apollo—a drug designed to kill witches—was destroyed, the hunt for its manufacturer is still active. It’s Tessa Lansa’s job to fin the culprit and she’s starting with the Grizzly MC and its strong, reserved leader because there are other factors motivating her besides duty. After realizing there’s much more behind the reticent man, will she forge ahead with her plan to mate him to get her fire yielding power and then betray him?

Bear never met a witch he could trust other than his sister Simone. They too many secrets. But the fact that the deliciously sexy and seductive woman can heal the seemingly irreversible damage he caused by shifting into a dragon makes her plan to mate him extremely inviting. The only problem is that mating an alpha bear comes with a bond she’s not willing to give. Will he accept her offer? Can he convince to give herself completely to him?

While Bear and Tessa try to figure out how they can help each other, it seems that someone is hell-bent on killing Tessa and the more this mysterious threat tries, the more Bear is determined to protect her and help her find out who’s behind the attacks and Apollo’s distribution. And somewhere between exploding jets and kidnapped uncles, Bear and Tessa’s bond grows, strengthens and solidifies.

Always welcome is the humor provided by Garrett and Logan, as well as Dage, the blab la who knows it all. Still it is conflict, combat and Bear and Tessa’s relationship that propel the story forward. The action sequences are resoundingly exciting and the sexy ones are blindingly hot.

We had met Bear in the previous books from the series, but I couldn’t get his story fast enough ever since his appearance in Wicked Burn. He is reticent and almost antisocial, but not when it comes to his shifter brothers nor his sister or anyone he cares about. Towards them, he’s fiercely protective and deeply caring. In this regard Nessa was his perfect match, she’s also just smart as him but where he was blunt and straight forward, subterfuge and mystery were her partners. But no matter how much the disagreed on the method, together their chemistry was wildly explosive.

Wicked Bite is book #5 in the Realms Enforcers series by Rebecca Zanetti. It is a standalone full length paranormal romance. Another action packed, sizzling romance by Rebecca Zanetti filled with witches, shifters, demons and vampires. An incredible addition to her Realm Enforcers series! Told from both points of view and has a happy ending.

Absolutely amazing conclusion to this well thought out series and of course the author just had to give her fans Bear! Grumpy, seemingly unconcerned and always pretty badass Bear. Oh my he's long been a favourite of mine and I've truly relished every scene he's been in but with this book the author has clearly brought her A game and it's simply fabulous.
Ok so this series whilst holding its own and bringing to life the Witches of Coven 9 still manages to showcase favourites from the Dark Protectors series as they work to get the Apollo drug off the streets. Bear has never wanted to get drawn in but as the grizzly Alpha somehow he keeps getting dragged in and recently he's exhausted his body to the point that he's in danger if losing not just his ability to shift but his life. Well who should turn up but Witch and former Council member Nessa but she's exactly what Bear despises about the Witch nation as she's deceiving him whilst seemingly has a proposition for him. The chemistry is incendiary between them but Bear knows better than to trust a Witch and believe me Nessa has a secret that will blow Bears mind!
Such a wonderful twisting plot that just keeps building until as a reader it's impossible to guess what will happen next. This couple are Hot with a capital H and I loved that no matter what Nessa never gave in and challenged Bear constantly. Yet Nessa can turn on a dime and you never quite know what to expect from this very tricky not to forget crafty Witch! Old favourites make an appearance and there's such glorious humour as the King is constantly underestimated, yes never forget that he is the King! For now though it's all about Bear and as he pulls out all the stops to protect Nessa he has a few surprises of his own to share! Yes this wraps the Apollo storyline up in style but I can't help wishing that these fun characters will make a return at some point.

Wicked Bite is book five in the Realm Enforcers series. Mmmm Bear. I've been waiting for Bear's story. This one ties with Wicked Edge as my favorite in the series. Bear is... well a bear shifter and ever since the events of Wicked Burn Bear has been sick. Bear also has dragon shifter in his DNA and when he shifted into a dragon it screwed with him on a molecular level and no matter how long he stays in his bear form he's not getting better. Nessa is unique for a witch unlike others she has no fire her power is healing, only through mating could Nessa ever hope to gain the ability to form her own fire. Nessa figures that with Bear's dragon shifter genes if she mates with him and the sharing of powers through the mating bond will give her the fire she's always wanted. She just has to convince Bear that she can heal him and in return they mate.

That's not the only reason Nessa wants to mate so quickly another witch who is a powerful healer wants her as his and Nessa will not have it. Not even when he kidnaps the uncle who raised her after her parents died. Bear has no idea what he has gotten himself into. He knows Nessa has secrets but when he finds out what they are it's a can of worms that can not be contained.

After the events of Wicked Kiss the drug Apollo in Seattle dropped but in recent months the drug has made a reappearance and worse than before. Bear is determined to get to the bottom of it, he has no love for witches for the exception of his sister and now Nessa, but this drug has killed way too many humans and witches alike and Seattle is his home. In combination with the Enforcers, the Demon Nation, and the Realm everyone works together to stop the evil behind the drug.

What was just suppose to be a bond in name only as a benefit for both Bear and Nessa became a bond so strong not even a bullet to the head will stop them from being together. What I love is that they both understand what's going on and as overprotective as Bear is he knows Nessa is strong enough to take care of herself and Nessa understand Bear's need to be overprotective and when it counts she gives into his wishes to protect her.

Overall, I loved this I love this so hard. I loved how it brought so many of the previous characters in on this one from this series and the Dark Protectors series. It was a very exciting book with a nice twist at the end. mmmmm Bear.

WICKED BITE is a pretty interesting paranormal romance with an intense central romance and a fun plot with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing at just what is going on. Realm Enforcers is one of those book series that I swear up and down that I've read some of at some point. But after diving into this story at a loss as to who is who I might have been mistaken. Luckily you don't need to have read the previous four books to enjoy WICKED BITE. Reading so many romances I tend to assume I get where the plot is going but WICKED BITE is pretty tricky by taking a hard right and messing with my concept of the status quo! The pacing is great, there are brilliant fight sequences, and enough exposition to get a general understanding of what went on in the previous books.

On the romance front, there are some pretty steam sex scenes and I love a good battle of the wits between main characters. While Bear's name is a bit on point with him being a bear shifter, I enjoyed his back story of being injured due to changing into a dragon at some point in the previous book. I was saddened to find out that he could not change into a hybrid bear-dragon shifter or breath fire in bear form. Tessa is a fun prim yet sassy foil to Bear's wild, gruff personality. I enjoyed seeing Bear and Nessa slowly open up to each other and finally share their secrets which were causing some major issues for their relationship and my ability to not be annoyed at people who don't explain their motivations (and who they are) clearly in the first place.

WICKED BITE is a wickedly exciting and thrilling read with a sizzling romance at its core. I will now be going to find the other books in this series!

I was surprised to discover this is the first book I've read from this author. The Dark Protectors series has been on my to-read list for years and I will get there one day soon hopefully.

This is a fabulous book I loved Bear, the grumpy yet loveable bear shifter.

Bear is in a bad way, he's a shadow of his former self having previously shifted into dragon form (shifters can only take one form) and the damage is killing him.
Nessa (or Tessa according to the blurb) turns up with an offer for him, she'll heal him if he'll mate with her.
Nessa is Coven Nine witch so why on earth would she want to Mate a grumpy antisocial bear?
Unlike most witches Nessa can't create fire and she hopes that mating with Bear will give her that ability after all Bear's father had been a dragon shifter.
The problem is witches can't be trusted and that was my initial problem with Nessa. It's impossible not to fall in love with Bear and knowing that she was holding out on him annoyed me but ultimately she won me over.

This book has so much going on and I'm sure it's even better if you've read the previous ones (which I definitely will now) there's tons of interesting and quirky characters (my absolute favourites are Garrett and Logan, I loved these guys) trying to discover who's responsible for the flood of deadly Apollo that's hitting the streets.

I'm annoyed with myself for not reading this series and the Dark Protectors sooner but better late than never. This came very close to 5* which is rare for me.

5 FREAKING AWESOME STARS!!!!!! Ms. Zanetti has done it again! I loved, loved, loved this story. I have been waiting for Bear's story and man, this did not disappoint. Ms. Zanetti picked the perfect heroine, Nessa Lansa from the Council of the Coven Nine. I did not see that pairing, Lol. This is a breathtaking roller coaster ride from the very first page and the surprises just kept coming. Nessa is a healer witch unable to form fire, like the other witches in the realm. She comes up with this bright idea that if she can heal Bear,(because he is actually two forms and he really shouldn't have changed into his other form, but he did to save his sister Simone, and ended up hurting himself on a physiological level) then he needs to mate with her. Bear was like, say what now? Lol. Bear doesn't like witches because there are always hidden secrets, agendas and politics with them and boy was Nessa's secret a HUGE ONE! I won't spoil it. Suffice it to say, I did not see that one coming at all. Great Job, Ms. Zanetti. The action was riveting and I simply could not wait to get to the next page. I hated being interrupted and having to put the book down even once. It is that good! The sex was off the charts and the dominance that Bear showed to even attempt to get Nessa to submit was wonderfully sweet. He is a typical bear, named Bear, too cute, right? Lol. I just could not get enough of this story and all my favorites were back, Garrett, Logan, Simone and Nick (and I know the sex of the their baby, but I won't tell, Lol), The Dunne brothers, and so much more. I have to admit one of my favorites parts is when King Dage Kayrs is speaking to a conference room of shifters and Nessa and people always wonder how he knows things. "The. King. Me. I'm the damn king." Lol. Poor King Dage, every one seems surprised that he knows things...A Magnificent, Amazing, Wondrous Read!!!!!! Loved every single second of this story. I pray, really pray it is not the last, so many more characters need their story as well.

As someone who loves books written by Rebecca Zanetti, this one does NOT disappoint in the least! I would recommend that you read the previous books in this series so you understand exactly what happened to the main character in this book. This installment covers Bear (who we met in the previous books and who is Simone's brother) and Tessa (who we also saw in previous books). Tessa is in town to try to figure out where the drug that is killing her fellow witches is truly coming from. Everything seems to point to it coming from the Grizzlies club, which seems absurd since Bear is in charge of the club and his sister is a witch. Bear is extremely sick after shifting to a dragon to help Simone. His body just can't seem to heal. Simone has asked Tessa to try to heal him, so she figures it works to her advantage since she wants to investigate anyway. She is looking for someone to mate to keep another witch away from her and she thinks that may be the only way to fully heal Bear so offers to mate him. Bear has always said he will never mate a witch as they hold too many secrets from everyone else. He doesn't like lies and secrets. Little does he know just how much Tessa is truly holding back from him. Or how much the people he holds close to him are holding back from him.
I absolutely loved this book!! Bear has been a character that I loved just because of how snarky he is. You could always tell there was more to him than anyone really thought. I was always a little iffy on where Tessa stood with everything and can I just say I adored her! Put them together and they are perfectly matched!! Tessa can be just as snarky as Bear, but she also kicks some serious butt! The way they truly come to love each other and not just have a relationship of convenience was beautiful! And just wait until you find out exactly how big of a secret she holds from him! I never saw that coming!! I loved every minute of this book! Another great book in this series!!

Wicked Bite is fantastic!

Witch Nessa Lansa is on a mission and she needs the Alpha of the Grizzly shifters Beauregard “Bear” McDunphy to succeed.  After Bear was gravely injured he was forced to shift and go into seclusion of three months to heal.  He feels more animal than man and has accepted that he will never be whole again.  Bear is not a fan of witches.  When Nessa barges into his life he tries to escort her right back out.  But her offer is almost too good to refuse…

Nessa a healer witch needs Bear’s help in her hunt for a drug lord.  She’s willing to heal him but in return he must mate her.  Nessa soon realizes that her plan has a few holes in it.  She may not be able to mate Bear and walk away as she anticipated.  After deciding to leave the grumpy shifter to himself they are attacked.  Now that Bear knows Nessa is in danger he’s determined to protect her.  Will they fall in love in the process or will the secrets between them tear them apart?

I love Bear and Nessa! Both characters are extremely strong willed. It’s positively electric when they butt heads.  Their desire to protect the people they love is beautifully sincere.  The attraction between them is hot and sweet.  Bear and Nessa are the perfect pair.

Ms. Zanetti’s ability to combine intense action sequences with scorching romance is masterful.  Wicked Bite is a non-stop thrill ride from page one.  The intrigue is enticing.  Trying to decipher who is bad and what is going to happen next is highly entertaining.  The battle scenes are vivid and will leave the reader breathless.  I’m very happy to Joyfully Recommend the latest Realm Enforcers novel, Wicked Bite.

Yay Bear's story! God I have loved me some big ol' grumpy Bear. I was so excited to finally get Bear's book and I loved every single minute of this read! Rebecca Zanetti is one of my top 5 favorite authors and she never fails me. I have loved every one of her books(that I have read) and I can't get enough of the Realm. Whether it's the Witches, Demons, Shifters, or the yummy Vampires(my favorites) I can't get enough of this world. So anytime I get to set aside the troubles of everyday life and dive back into this world and lose myself that is a great day for me.
Bear was amazing! He was smart, sexy, protective and tough. This grumpy, antisocial loner bear had a lot of depth to him. He felt deeply. He was hurt in the past and didn't feel like he fit in anyone's world, so he made his own MC family. Raw and animalistic he was everything I could want in a shifter. Nessa was way more than met the eye. She came off all prim and a little snobby, but she could kick major butt! Nessa was very sweet and she was loyal to her few loved ones. Being a witch Nessa was keeping secrets and could be a master manipulator when the situation called for it. Brave and smart Nessa was the perfect mate for our Alpha bear.
Nessa and Bear together were wild. Nessa brought out the animal in him. She challenged him and pushed him to give her his all. Bear was so gruff antisocial, so when he fell hard for his little witch I totally melted! Wicked Bite was an action packed thrill ride filled with awesome cameo appearances from some of my Realm favorites. I got me some Dage and Emma, Garrett(mini Talen) and Logan time. I so love Garrett and I long for his book. There was no Talen which made me a bit sad. OMG the bad guy I didn't see that one coming at all! I was totally shocked. Overall I truly just enjoyed this book so much.

The cover is very nice, but it would be even better with a grizzly on the cover!

This is the 5th book in the series, but it is my first book to read in this series and by this author. This is definitely for adults only due to the steamy content. It can also be read in any order, but my suspicions are that it would be even better reading them all in order.

I loved this book because it had all my favorite things: shifters, action, magic, treachery, mixed paranormal world, and so much more! I love action packed books like this one, and I had a hard time putting it down. Bear and Nessa are both stubborn and awesome and reading their story was awesome. I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll just say that you should read it!

I highly recommend to any paranormal fans because they book has everyone in it (shifters, witches, demons, vampires, and more)! I can’t wait to read more of this world and check out more of Rebecca’s work!

As a fan of the Dark Protectors Series, I have been dying and I mean dying to get my hands on the Realm Enforcers Series. Now, I should tell you that I have not read any of the previous books in the Realm Enforcers Series, but when I read the synopsis for Wicked Kiss, I just knew I had to dive in and read this book!!

One of the things that I really loved about this book was that despite the fact that I haven't read any of the previous books in the Realm Enforcers Series, was that I could jump right in and read this book as though it was a stand-alone. Wicked Bite was very easy for me to read and I couldn't help but devoured every single word. The world that this author has created is not only captivating, but is utterly consuming. The characters grab you from the very first page and will have you begging and pleading for more. I just loved it!

Wicked Bite has it all. From a fascinating and entertaining story-line, to strong and determined characters. To sexier than he** chemistry and exciting twists. To action and danger that only Rebecca Zanetti can deliver. This book does not disappoint and will have you blowing through the pages to see how the story will play out. I loved every second of this story and can not wait to dive into not only the previous books in this series, but I am also super excited to see where this series will go from here!

I just love Bear; he’s a loveable grumpy shifter that has always been a favorite of mine and a mystery. I always wondered what his story was and man it’s better than I would have ever imagined. Bear has many hidden secrets that come out in the previous book. I would recommend reading this series in order, not that you couldn’t read this as a standalone but simply because this series is really good.

Nessa is a Coven Nine witch or ex-Coven Nine member, Bear is not your typical social shifter, he does not like witches (well, except for his sister) shifters can only take one shape he took a second shape and is now damaged from it, as in its killing him. Nessa is hoping Bear will help her with a problem she has, she is one of the few witches that can’t create fire, and in exchange she will help heal him. Nessa wants Bear to mate her in hopes she can retain fire but she doesn’t want a bond?

Nessa is full of secrets and Bear is an open no secrets if-you-ask-the-right-questions shifter. He likes the truth and doesn’t like to play games unlike the witches who like lies and are very deceitful by nature. Even though Nessa has many secrets I do like her in all, she is a strong female, smart, and I just love her sass! What is the true reason Nessa wants to mate? There is definitely some chemistry with these two. But will secrets and lies keep these two apart? If you like PNR this is a great series, the store has a book bundle for the first three books on sale. I would highly suggest reading them.

Bears are cuddly, friendly creatures, aren’t they? Well in this story Bear is a shifter, leader of Grizzly motorcycle club and has a reputation for being a grumpy loner. At the start of the story he’s been out of touch with his pack whilst trying to heal himself following something he did in an earlier book (sorry, I think saying what would be a spoiler and I don’t want to write any of them!). Nessa Lansa is a healer witch and she’s turned up supposedly to help heal Bear after being asked to do so by his half sister. However, she has secrets of her own and the sexual tension between the Bear and Nessa is off the scale!

What a brilliant concluding story this proved to be! Nessa is trying to discover - and stop - whoever is distributing the Apollo drug which is killing witches and all her intel points to the Grizzlies. However, after meeting Bear, she’s pretty certain he isn’t involved, but if he isn’t, who is? He doesn't quite trust Nessa but he knows she's his mate and is determined to protect her . . . 

This is an action packed conclusion to a brilliant paranormal suspense series. It involves shifters, demons and witches (along with others, even a vampire!). As peace treaties are threatened, there’s also double crossing and a surprise betrayal before the story reaches its fabulous finale! This story draws together all the threads from the earlier stories and weaves them into an enthralling, fast paced and highly entertaining conclusion. Quite simply, I loved it and have no hesitation in highly recommending it to anyone who enjoys this mix of genres!

In Wicked Bite Beauregard "Bear" McDunphy and Nessa Lansa are two very strong characters and they are matched both intellectually and physically. Bear is a grizzly with dragon DNA and the Grizzly nations Alpha. Nessa is a witch with connections to the Coven Nine. Bear hates witches, they are liars and full of secrets. The only witch he likes is his half sister, Simone. Nessa and the witch community think shifters are just animals and are low on the food chain.
Nessa is a healer and asked by Simone to heal Bear, but she also has an agenda of her own. Mate Bear, heal him and hopefully gain part of his dragon DNA. Fire. A mating of convenience.
Bear is dying. He made a major mistake when he shifted into a dragon and want against his shifter genetics. He has no intention to mate the sex little witch even if he can't get her out of his thoughts. She's hiding something from him.
Nessa is secretly investigating the trafficking of the deadly Apollo drug and thinks the Grizzly motorcycle club is the key. She also has enemies and assassins on her tail and a major secret that can not be revealed.

Review:

I have not read the other books in this series, so I cannot say how it relates to the others. I will say that I did not feel lost at all reading out of order.

I really liked how the story started out with Tessa coming to Bear with an offer to heal him in exchange for a mating. Things get crazy from there on out. I won't give it away because really you just don't know who to trust on who is out kill Tessa or the Apollo. I loved Tessa and Bear together. They were fun and sexy to read. Both are super intelligent, capable and just plain likable together and separately.

I have read this Author many times and this like the others was expertly written. Entertaining reading with action, drama, intrigue and romance. Now, to find the time to go back and read others in the series.

Let me start by saying this is book 5 of Rebecca’s Realm Enforcers Series. You really need to read this series in order and I would also suggest reading Rebecca’s Dark Protectors (DP) series first as well. (In my opinion, you don’t really need to read the Dark Protectors first, that’s why it’s just a suggestion, however, you will definitely get more joy out of the DP characters in the Realm series if you have a full understanding of them from the DP series.)

Now let’s talk about Beauregard McDunphy (Bear.) I found out some very interesting things about Bear throughout this series and you definitely find out more in this book. I know he does not like Witches or anything to do with the Coven Nine. He doesn’t trust them, does not want to be near them, and wants them and everyone else to stay off his Motorcycle Club land. In walks Nessa a witch who happens to be on the Coven Nine. I’m sure you can imagine, Bear is not happy with her appearing in his cabin but Nessa has a proposition that Bear really can’t turn down. Nessa has quite a few secrets of her own and holy cow Rebecca, I didn’t see any of this coming!!!!!

This book is truly outstanding, the action is amazing, the writing is superb, the chemistry is off the charts for our lead characters and there are many appearances from the DP characters we all love!!

BRAVO Mrs. Zanetti!! You keep writing them and I’ll keep reading them! I would highly recommend all of Rebecca’s books!

If you ever read one of Rebecca Zanetti books. You will know that she tries to engage the reader from the start, and won’t let you go until the very last page is turned.
Only a few shifters can turn into more than one animal. It is known that you should choose the dominant animal and only the dominant to become. However, to save his sister life from the council, Bear had to go against nature and turn into his alternate form a Dragon. Which we later learn has shortened his life span, and now only one person can save him…. Tessa Lansa. Or so she tells Bear. However, her healing him comes with a price. He must mate with her for life.

When it comes to secrets, no one is better at keeping than a Witch. Tessa knows all too well about secrets, for she is caring one around that not too many people knows about. It’s one that she must keep from Bear, which it’s becoming harder and harder to keep.
Wicked Bite was everything that I hoped for with Bear’s story. Action with a lot of romance. The chemistry was topped with sassy banter among our intrepid lovers. The final revelation of who’s behind the making of the drug that is killing witches and humans is finally revealed.

Wicked Bite is a great stand-alone title, but is even better if you read the titles in the order of publication.

Wow.. So this is the first book that I've read in this series and I can't believe I haven't read this already!! I was hooked from the start! I would have read this in one sitting if real life didn't have to happen. So while this is book 5 and does mention passed characters and things, I had no problem following along and reading this without being confused. But I definitely do plan on going back and reading all of them now.
I adored Bear! He's the typical grumpy alpha shifter but you can't help but love him and want to know more about him. I loved his protective nature and even when he was mad or annoyed with Nessa he was her protector. I also loved Nessa, she's a kick butt female that can protect herself. While she does have secrets that kept me really intrigued and wanting to know what was happening with her. They both had amazing chemistry together. They played well off of each other and we're definitely sizzling between the sheets!
The story just kept me wanting more and more. I was sad for it to end because I enjoyed the characters so much. I can't wait to read the rest of this series and hope that there are more books to follow!

So very good. There is witches, bears, demons, vampires and dragons. It is fast paced, edge of your seat, can't wait to see what happens next book. Ness, a witch with healing powers, was a member of the Coven Nine Council but only until they found out who was wanting to get rid of Simone. Now that all that's been taken care of, she is on another mission, to find out who is making and distributing Apollo. She goes to grizzly territory and makes a deal with Bear, head of the grizzly nation and president of the Grizzlies Motorcycle Club. She wants to heal him in return for him to mate her.

Bear doesn't like witches or people in general. He transformed into a dragon to save his sister and is slowly dying. He allows Nessa to start healing him but not sure about mating. He knows Nessa is keeping secrets and that's one thing he want stand for.

While Nessa is there, she is almost kidnapped and someone wants her dead. Bear will do anything to protect her because she has slowly wormed her way into the grumpy shifters heart. They are getting attacked from different sides and it'll take them all working together to keep them safe.

Loved this story. Laughed, almost cried, and hated to see the ending. I love King Dage!

She gets the idea to mate Bear to see if she can heal him and to maybe gain some of his fire-throwing abilities (since mates can sometimes share abilities)...but does she have hidden agenda? Bear, a shifter, is trying to recover from changing into a dragon to help the Enforcers in their fight against the distributers of the drug Apollo. Even though he is part dragon, shifters can usually only change into one shape safely and now Bear's paying the price. Will he give in to Nessa when he's not really wanting a mate? And what happens when Nessa's secrets come to light? Read for yourself and find out....you'll be glad you did!

From the very first book, the Realm Enforcers series has been a wild and wicked ride (see what I did there?)...and it culminates in Bear and Nessa's book. I think Bear and Nessa are my new favorite couple. The chemistry between them is hawt! *fans self* And Nessa sometimes forgetting that if you tug the fur you're gonna get the teeth and claws just adds to the smexy-times. I recommend this book and the whole series. I'm sad that it ended but I'm so glad I read it.

I've read every book in this series and thoroughly enjoyed them all! This is a great conclusion to the story arc relating to the drug Apollo, created to target and destroy witches while also killing humans in the bargain. We get a grizzly shifter in this one, Bear, who has been a secondary character in previous books as the leader of the Grizzly MC and his romance with witch Nessa.

Nessa is unique among witches for her super secret role in the witch realm as well as her capacity to heal and both these factors play a part in this story. Initially she's investigating Bear as the Grizzly MC is suspected to be involved with the manufacture and distribution of Apollo, but she soon discovers she's gotten more than she bargained for when the searing sexual attraction between them means that a 'mating of convenience' isn't going to last long.

As in previous books there are some steamy sex scenes, as well as plenty of secondary characters (most of them familiar to readers of the series) and lots of action to make the book an exciting read. While this may be the end of the Realm Enforcers, I definitely hope to read more of the world this author created first in the Dark Protectors series and now this one. Dragons next perhaps? I'll be tuning in to find out!

Ahhh....I can't believe this is the end! I have so enjoyed this spin off from the original Realm series. This being the last book, all the story lines are wrapped up. Hidden in between all of that is a smart aleck, very proper Witch named Tessa and a growly bear shifter who runs an MC named, of course, Bear.

I can't really give much more away on this one since many of you have been reading from the start. I will say this, human feelings and attraction seem to always get in the way of these paranormal folks good intentions. Tessa starts out with the plan--one that Bear wants no part of--and ends up falling hard for that s3xy beast.

As the story goes, there are lots of twists and turns. Good guys and bad guys and secrets to unfold. We see the King, of course. And his nephews step up to help the shifters out. Explosions and battles and gadgets. All hallmarks of Ms. Zanetti's style. We also get the struggle between Tessa and Bear. Both very strong willed and determined. In the end...love wins.

Fantastic series all around. I wish there was more. Some hints about more spin offs though so that will make me happy! Maybe we will run into the Witches again!

With Wicked Bite we get a shifter who is highly potent, perfectly alpha, 100% dominant male, and a surprisingly strong witch who can't throw fire, but is one of the toughest females I have EVER read with this series so far. My god, Wicked Bite is HOT, demanded my FULL attention and had me edgy, squirming, had deliciously wicked heat with action so heart-pounding good, I didn't realize how on edge I was of my seat, until I almost fell off! This book is So. Freaking. Amazing.

Rebecca Zanetti is a MUST follow author! Her books are dark, sexy, sizzling HOT, with alpha males you will fall in love with and kick-butt heroines. Wicked Bite is a story you can easily and happily sink your teeth into. I know I did and I LOVED every second, every moment, every turn of the page. These books get hotter, darker, edgier, more delicious with every new release. God, how I adore THESE books! Bear and Tessa are my ULTIMATE favorite couple. These two fit...like perfect puzzle pieces. I can't wait to see whats next!

Wicked Bite delivered one hell of a surprise ending tying up this storyline and man...Bear and Nessa's book was so worth waiting for! The mystery, the action, and the romance! Holy smokes, the romance!! Bear's intensity and Nessa's surprising wild side created a romance that was raw and burned supernova hot! The action was over the top awesome sauce, with Nessa providing a host of unexpected, and sometimes unwelcome, surprises for Bear. Getting page time with Garrett, Logan (I hope these two get their own stories at some point!!), Dage (who was in fine form this time) and Emma was a bonus, and seeing Simone and Nick was like icing on the cake!

As the fifth book in the Realm Enforcers series, I highly recommend reading these in order as to not miss the overall story point involving the drug Apollo, its mysterious background, and the baddies who are trying to set up the witches. It will make this book so much sweeter to read.

Tessa is one of the few witches who can't protect herself with fire, but she's got an idea, quid pro quo, help him heal and get fire in return. Now to make him take the deal.
At the same time the threat with Apollo is back, threatening all witches, and they seem to hone in on Tessa. Can Bear save her, and get to the bottom of it as well?
Paranormal action, suspense and smutty fluff in an awesome combo, love this series!

Grumpy bears, witches with agendas, threats alleviated, amazing story telling, and romance that sizzles and pops are all found in Wicked Bite by Rebecca Zanetti. It is fitting that the conclusion to the Apollo danger happens in Bear’s story. It is also fitting that Mr. Grumpy is not happy with all the other paranormal creatures that are showing up too. But boy, do they make this story intriguing and interesting. It hard not to love a good Bear but Nessa, the witch was a harder sell for me. I agree with Bear, witches usually were manipulative. Still, there story is action-packed as well as romantically charged.

I appreciated that Ms. Zanetti gives a suitable conclusion to one over-arching theme without carrying it through a dozen books. Still I am hopeful that this is not the conclusion of the captivating Realm Enforcers Series.

Rebecca Zanetti has done it again. Wicked Bite lives up to it's name. I can safely say, I may have had a crush on Bear since we met him in Wicked Ride. I might have even been a little annoyed at Zanetti for making him such a minor character in Wicked Kiss, along with making him sick. All that is now forgiven because WOW did she do it right!

I wondered about Nessa, when we met her in Wicked Kiss. There was definitely more than meets the eye with her. One of the signs of a well written and created character, is that they evoke an emotional response from you. Oh, let me tell you, I wanted to shake or smack Nessa more than once during this book! Her AND Bear, if we're going to be honest.

This is a must read for anyone that has enjoyed the Realm Enforcers. The action is fast paced, the plot is tight and the characters are engaging. Oh and did I mention it's HOT?!?!? Where can I get a grizzly alpha of my own?

Who would want a sexy, grumpy, over protective bear shifter? The last person you'd expect. But for what purposes? Business or personal?

Bear is still not well no matter how much time he's spent in bear form but it doesn't stop him from going on alert when he gets to his cabin to find a witch making herself at home.

Nessa has promised Simone that she will check on Bear and try to heal him. What she didn't tell her was she also had her own agenda.

Someone is trying to kill witches with Apollo and they still have not found who it is. Bear doesn't allow Apollo on club grounds or his members to use. After all, his half- sister is a witch.

This is spellbindingly captivating, this story. The characters are phenomenal and the amazing journey they go on is nothing short of hypnotizing. I have been hooked since the beginning!

Nessa is a friend of his sister and she has a plan to save him and help herself in return. She wants to mate him and use some of his dragon power to fuel her so far non-functioning flame powers.
Her talents as a witch lie elsewhere as a healer and as such she has no real defensive powers. But as a healer she is a hot commodity and mating Bear will get her away from the male trying to claim her!

Nessa was kind of hard to love at first, she was just to business like and matter of fact about mating Bear! Bear is just gruff and lovable. He has a heart of gold and I loved how much he loved his sister and enjoyed annoying her stand-offish mother! We finally find out who is behind the Apollo ring and it's a doozy!

I absolutely loved Wicked Bite and was immediately pulled back into Rebecca Zanettis paranormal world....

I've read almost every book by this author and while I still love and am highly addicted to her Scorpious series, her Realm Enforcers had lost a bit of their luster for me.....right up until this one that is. I absolutely loved the alpha of the Grizzly MC, Bear, and couldn't get enough of him. This was fast paced and exciting from the first page to the last. It was more similar to her earlier work and couldn't put it down.

I loved that there were old characters as well as new additions, and had a fresh and exciting plot, while still trying to solve the mystery of who is distributing a dangerous drug to witches and humans alike.

Definitely a four star, engaging read to those who are committed to the series.

Paranormal Series brought to life by Rebecca Zanetti. All inclusive read with witches, shifters, demons, romance and secrets. Zanetti is one author that does a complete unhurried job of taking the reader on a complete trip packed with adventure, romance, and unforgettable characters. This being the 5th in the Realm Enforcers series does not mean it cannot be read as a stand-alone. Visits are made by previous characters but the plot is all new and does not end on a frustrating cliff hanger. Bear is a cross between Teddy and Smokey. He is easy to love and quick to protect. I was so glad when Bear finally got his own story! I have been waiting for his book, and Zanetti did not disappoint! It was the perfect ending to the series! This is not a standalone book! You definitely need to read the previous books in the series to understand what is happening. Nessa is a witch who needs protecting, and Bear is the man for the job. The two come to an agreement to help each other, and sparks fly when the two come together. Nessa is a strong and passionate woman, and the two are constantly butting heads. They each have their own secrets, but can they work together? Can Bear forgive Nessa after he learns her secret? It was an action-packed book, and I could not put it down until the end!

A part of the Dark Protectors series this one adds a Bear shifter to the mix. Nessa a witch is in trouble and she comes to him for protection. But Bear is injured and Nessa is a witch that can hell him. But a bargain made between these two involve into so much more.When the mating between a strong alpha witch and the Bad Boy Bear Alpha. Loved this new spin in this series. And the addition to the shifter nation is a great addition to – witches , demon and vampire nation. This is not a stand alone book- you diffidently need to have read the other books to understand whats going on in this book. If you have not already read them -you can check your library for the first books of this series. You will enjoy them. Lisa

Overall this book was really good but slightly predictable. Even with its predictability I have to be honest and say that it was still very good. I have not read any Rebecca Zanetti book in the past but I will definitely look out for her books in the future.

I am loving the Realm Enforcers series, and have been waiting for Bear's story. It was so worth the wait!
Bear is a shifter who wouldn't trust a witch for anything, but there is something about Tessa he just can't ignore. Bear is unable to heal himself after shifting in an earlier story and Tessa schemes to mate for convenience in return for healing him. He's pretty sure she is playing him, but decides to let it play out and in the meantime have some fun. Tessa is hiding a lot from Bear..and she has no idea what he will do when he discovers her plan. Both characters are strong willed and it was fun to watch them fall for each other.
This story was full of action and kept me glued to my kindle. The romance was hot and beautiful to see grow.

Nessa and Bear are the perfect example of opposites attract. Bear is wild and passionate whereas Nessa is prim and proper and all put together. But getting Bear to trust her is the only thing on her mind, for more than one reason. Letting Nessa into his inner circle is the last thing that Bear wants to do but she just might be the only one who can help him heal on a cellular level. Plus she wants to mate him to gain something for herself. He has no choice but to let her in. But neither of them expected to find their interaction to be so explosive. And for Nessa betraying Bear is turning out to be the last thing that she wants to do.

I could not wait for Bear’s story. Rebecca did not disappoint. I will say, I figured out the villain, and new hearts would break. Mine did. Nessa was perfect for Bear. A strong female with a big heart. Tough female. Excitement from beginning to end. Loved the King and other loved characters showing up in each book. Even Max was in this book. So exciting. I really loved this world. I’m going to miss it. I hope we get a Garrett/ Logan story. That will be fun. I can’t wait until Logan can teleport. I can picture he and Garrett causing all kinds of problems. Highly recommend both the Protector and Enforcer series.

I enjoyed this book from the get go. A strong heroine who is more than what she seems and a reluctant hero who has a few accidental secrets of his own. Also there were plenty of appearances by beloved characters. Two things I love about Rebecca Zanetti is that she is not afraid to have time pass and age characters. Which doesn’t effect the immortals, but allows the children to grow up. And she has no problem wrapping up conflict. A major crisis is brought to conclusion, and the culprit is revealed. I can’t wait to find out what the immortal world is up against next.

I was fortunate enough to have gotten a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for a review which I am happy to provide. Even though I am a fan of Rebecca Zanetti, I have not been faithfully following the series, but I was familiar enough with most of the characters that it was not a problem at all to follow along in the storyline. I liked Bear and Nessa, the only thing I didn't care for was when they were physically fighting, that did not do anything for me, otherwise the chemistry was good between them and the overall story was interesting, though at times a bit slow. Plenty of action and some steamy lovemaking. Not dull for sure.

This book was amazing. Two characters brought together by something neither one of them can control. Bear is sick and Nessa wants to help. In return, she wants to mate and leave. Bear know she is hiding something but when the truth comes out, he doesn’t know what to do. Can this “Mating be saved” or will Nesses secret destroy everything. You will not be disappointed with the read. Action, love, and true friendships are entwined in this book.

A big shout out to Kensington publishing and NetGalley for the free ARC for my honest review. I admit it up front I enjoy most of Rebecca's work. The chemistry between Bear/Beauregard McDunphy and Nessa is great. Who would imagine a cranky bear shifter and a witch with secrets galore would mate. This book is #5 in the series, but it reads as a stand alone. It is a fun fast paced book with a few twists! It was a pleasant read and I would recommend to all who enjoy paranormal romance. It does have alot of violence but it still comes over as a fun lighthearted read that will make you laugh. Enjoy as I certainly did.

Bear is the leader of the Grizzly MC and the Alpha of the Grizzly nation. And despite his laid back attitude, he is all alpa. Nessa is a smart, independent, tough witch. Witches are not Bear's favorite people, except for his sister. So how can Nessa convince Bear that they should work together to solve their problems.
There is lots of action, suspense, and secrets. Bear and Nessa's relationship starts off as a convenience but quickly turns into something more complex. Then Bear's laid back Grizzly only territory will never be the same.

Wicked bitte is one of the best books that I read this summer. Like I said before this author can't do no wrong. The style it is written the plot, characters, everything is perfectly combined together so pages just flew by. I m not in the shape shifters but this story is just awesome. Both Bear and Nessa are easy to love and strong. Their story is unique and I loved how unpredictable the story was. I loved Bear and his instinct of possession toward Nessa. The end is also completely unpredictable and I loved it.
Highly recommended.

Another spin off that comes to an end and I appreciate that a lot. At the beginning I was not interested so much in this series, but it really grew on me and I'm happy that I read all the installment and this especially: I loved Bear so much!

Oh my! Awesome beyond words. Love the action and kick butt hero and heroine. Bear and Tessa's story is just so darn good. The heat they bring to the pages is something else. This is one of those paranormal romances by which all others will be judged. Can a shifter and a witch have a relationship? I don't want to give anything away except to say, if you love paranormal books and haven't read Rebecca Zanetti yet - what are you waiting for? You don't need to read these in order, but make sure you have a comfy chair.

Another 5 star read from Rebecca Zanetti. I absolutely have loved this series. This one went out with a bang. This is a pure page turner. A must read. While it could be read without reading the previous books, it would definitely help you with the plot.

Bear and Nessa have this undeniable chemistry but Bear does not trust her motives. Nessa tells half truths so that Bear doesn't catch what she's really up to.

So much action, passion, and intensity that you won't be able to put down. I'm excited for the next series.

I don't want it to end! I've read all Rebecca Zanetti's books and am a huge fan. I love her writing style and her imagination. In this book, Bear finally gets his happily ever after. I couldn't be happier with Nessa as the choice. This story brings in lots of previous characters and connects everything perfectly. This can't be the end! Simone still has to have her baby and Garrett and Logan need someone to love. My fingers are crossed that we'll get some connecting stories in the future! I have loved this journey!

Cute story about Bear, who I've been interested in for three books now. Nessa was cute too. What I've really enjoyed about this series is that it incorporated the Dark Protector characters in it. Would love to read more about the DP and the RE, even if that means a new series. No reason to quit now.

It kind of reminds me of Kresley Cole's IAD series that is on #19 now or Nalini Singh's PC series that is on #18. There is no reason to end a good series with some great characters.

Bear holds nothing back, “you wanna eff?” Bear liked catching the classy witch off balance. Her face flared a bright pink, and she actually took a step back. “Too direct for you?” he asked quietly..." Bear gives some good answers to some of the questions Nessa asks, “I was tired, and you were snuggly.” His heated breath brushed her ear." I loved this book, I fell in love with Bear in the previous books in this series and had been eager for his book, the man did not disappoint me.

Rebecca Zanetti's books just keep getting better.

Oh man, Bear is such a loner and just wanted die in dwace5. He put himself at risk to save his half sister in a book previously and is dying because of what happend there. When he meets the fiesty witch who says she can heal him but only if he mates her he is amused and not interested. Lots of drama goes on in this book and lots of backstabbing and betrayal from someone out to get Nessa. I totally didn't expect it so kudos to the author for fooling me! Really good book.

Bear is amazing. We have been watching him throughout the series and he surpasses expectations. The story is raw and emotional while keeping the fast pace we have come to expect. He demands honesty and loyalty and his rule is absolute.

Nessa has come to Bear with an agenda but plans can change. Things are not as they seem on either side. It will take both of them to discover the truth and make it right.

Bear is one of those characters who pops up sporadically throughout the series and you always feel as if you are just scratching the surface with him. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him better in this one, I loved the revelations with Nessa. Dage, as always, is all-knowing. The big mystery finally comes to an end and it was a great conclusion. I'll definitely be re-reading all the books.

Nessa has a hidden agenda, of course, but her relationship with Bear makes it hard to remember her plan. Great addition to the Realm Enforcers series and perfect blend of science fiction, fantasy, and romance!

This love story was full of action and romance. I loved every word of it. Bear was great, he was everything I thought he would be. Nessa, I didn't like her at first, but she grew on me and I understood where she was coming from. They had sparks that flew off the pages, they were great together.

This is my first read in this series, and now I need all the other books. This book had one of my perfect book balances alpha male, shifter, violence, sex, and characters I want to know more about.

Such a good book. It had a little bit of everything: mystery, romance, intrigue. Love the realm created and I really hope there is a companion book. I'm a fan of Ms. Zanettie's writing so I've pretty much read all of her books and I found these Nick/Simone and Bear/Nessa to be in my Top 5 favorite couples of all her series. I hope she revisits them.

BEAR here! Shifter BEAR is getting his turn to find love, and this story will not disappoint you!

Fantastic story line, easy to follow characters. I thought the pace of the story was perfect. I love this author!
