Ouran High School Host Club Box Set (Vol. 1-18)

This is a great collection. Being able to purchase as a box set saves both money and the hassle of having to add each volume individually to the cart. The box itself is a nice quality, not some cheap throw-away.

I love this series and had always wanted to own it, so when I saw this I thought, "I have to get this!" It was definitely worth the price, all 18 books are in perfect condition, and it arrived way before they said it would! I would recommend this to anyone who loves reading comedies!

The manga itself is fantastic, even if it ends abruptly. The notepad that comes with the box set is super cute. The only issue I had was that volume 13 was torn. They must have put it in the box carelessly because the case is fairly sturdy. It doesn't affect the readability but it's always a little disappointing when there is a product defect.

This box set is a phenomenal deal! You get all of the books at a fraction of the price you would have to pay for them individually. The packaging is adorable, and it even comes with a cute little bonus notepad! I'm very happy with this purchase.

This really is a great deal, considering the the store discounted price.
Luckily, I got my books without any duplicates, and the memo pad is cute.
I wish VIZ plan to release more box sets for other series(ex.Bakuman) as well in the future.(with the store discount of course!)

Ouran is hilarious from start to finish. It is all at once a romance, a satire, and a poignant story of the power of friendship.
I have to admit that I was confused by some interactions between the characters, though. Perhaps it was just a case of awkward Japanese-to-English translation? I just occasionally felt like I had missed something.
Other than that, I would totally recommend this fun, lighthearted series.

Just love them. The arrived the same day I ordered them. One of my rather expensive purchases but I really love the series and reading online with all the adds and pop ups was just getting annoying. The box is also really cute. It actually sits perfectly on the headboard of my bed that I used it to force the rest of my books against the wall for a makeshift bookshelf.

I love it. The quality for the books, as well as the box itself is very good. I was also very surprised to see how quickly my order came in. I am very satisfied with my order and I will buy from the store again. Once I find time when I put my books down! (:

This is a nice item with good quality. All 18 volumes were inside the box and it didn't have any scratches, it was packed good. It came with a nice looking memo pad. I recommend this product to Ouran High School Host Club fans or manga fans and collectors.

Not only did I save a lot of money by purchasing this, but it arrived very fast and in great condition! Also, the memo pad that came along with it is very cute and a wonderful addition to this box set!

This was a wonderful item as it contained the whole series. I love the story and felt connected to each of the characters. I would recommend Host Club to anyone who enjoys a high school romance and strong female leads.

If you love silly romances, boys who have way too much free time on their hands, and a secret heroine in disguise you'll love Ouran. I started the series by watching the anime and quickly fell for Tamaki, the princely like figure who is simply trying to find happiness in the situation he lives in, Kyoya, the smart and sinister boy who wants nothing more than to be out of his brothers shadows, Honey, the boy Lolita that just wants to be himself even if it is an overly cute character, the Hitachin twins, two boys that look completely the same but want to be seen as separate people, Mori, the protective guardian and loyal friend to Honey, and last but not least Haruhi, the young girl in a new world who gets swept up in the comical situations the group of boys get themselves into, all while pretending to be a boy herself. Every character is full of heart, and as it is in both the books and the series, easy to fall for. Since the anime and manga are pretty different (the anime never finished the series for example) this was undoubtedly the best hundred bucks I've ever spent. The box came in pristine condition, and gave me the fulfillment I needed when the anime ended so abruptly. You won't regret buying this at all!

Bought this for a friend and she absolutely loves it! I loved it as well and was debating buying one for myself (which I decided against as I don't have room on my bookshelf or anywhere else for this). Shipping was fast and the package box and well as the box for the set was undamaged. Would recommend for any Ouran lovers!

About the story...

The story line is simple to follow and the characters get deeper as the story continues. The characters are diverse and the author has a great sense of humor (both in the stories as well as author notes sprinkled through out the series). I'm not giving the story line justice, but if you don't know the story line look it up on wikipedia [...].

About the Box Set and the books...

When the package arrived, it was securely packed away with little to no movement for the box set to be damaged while being shipped. I received all 18 volumes and the exclusive memo pad. The box it comes in is nice for storage as well as being visually appealing. The size of the box set is smaller than PC unit but slightly bigger than a woman's tennis shoe box, but the weight is not heavy.

The books themselves take very little time to get used too. Pretend you have an American style book. We read it front to back (as a whole book) and left to right (from page to page). The Ouran Host Club books read in the opposite. They read from back to front (as a whole book) and right to left (from page to page). It sounds confusing but the author is nice enough to explain on the first page if you start to read it from the wrong end in every volume.

The pages of the books are sturdy for multiple readings, but if it gets caught on anything it will tear easily (mine was a paperclip). The pages are also done in a black, white, and grey scale. There are no colored pictures except for the coverings for each volume.

I know this was a lot, but I didn't want there to be any surprises because these are great books, but a bit pricey. They do have a one season anime that I like as well if you want more. If you have any doubts about if you will like the series, you can do what I did. I read the magna free on[...] and watched the anime on Netflix (English voice) and youtube (Japanese voice w/ English subtitles)

OHSHC changed my life from the very beginning, how could I resist owning the whole series?? I love this deal and is way better than any other deal I've seen. I love the cute memo pad that comes with it, too!!

The Ouran Box set is worth every penny. This was my very first manga and in the beginning it was hard reading from right to left. However, after a few volumes it came naturally. The least thing I didn't like was that the manga wasn't in color. Other than that it's still worth every penny.

This manga is so completely wonderful. It's funny, sweet, and engaging. It's got romance, but it's mostly about friendship. There's not much angst because any time anyone starts to angst over the way someone else is acting, they usually turn around and choose to have a positive attitude about it or are smart enough to see the reason behind the other person's hurtful actions. This is a group of characters who all genuinely care about each other, and that makes it wonderful to read. It's also got a lovely happy ending. The boxed set itself is nice. I didn't have any missing volumes like it seems some people did. Everything was there. The corner of the box did get a little smushed in shipping, which is annoying, but it isn't *too* bad, and all the books are in good shape. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who likes sweet, funny stories.

First off I want to say I really like the books but the thing that gives it a 2 star is how long I had to wait for it, I waited 3 months for it. And it was pushed back twice!!! I would say go a head and buy it if you really want it, but be prepared to wait forever

This was the very first anime I had ever watched. I instantly fell in love with it. This was years ago and even now it is still my favorite anime. I never read the manga because buying 18 for $10 a piece can get super pricey especially now since I just started college. The deal I got on this saved me money and I was so excited to finally dwell deeper into this series and the characters!
I placed my order on a either Friday or Saturday night and it came Tuesday! I was so impressed with the speed of delivery! The package was in great shape and everything was in such pristine condition! I absolutely adore this set and I'm so thankful I finally purchased it!

This is one of the first animes I had ever seen,so feeling a bit nostalgic,I asked my family to get me this.(christmas gift so REAALLLY late review)Anyways,when I unwrapped it,the box was in perfect condition.I checked around it and there were no dents,scratches,or anything.When I opened it up,all the books were lined up neatly in order and the notepad was last.It was the entire story and I had to get reading so that day all I did was sit down and read each manga.What made me really happy was Hikaru and Kaoru seemed to get more moments in the book,especially when Hikaru fell in love with Haruhi,but she had liked Tamaki..Anyways,long story short,the condition of the item and the story were a 5!Would buy something like this again!

With the whole Ouran gang on the box, how can you not love it? As advertised, it contains all 18 manga volumes. the manga covers are glossy and neat. With an almost 50% savings as compared to buying volumes separately plus an asesome box with the gang on all sides, a must buy for shojo and ouran fans alike. The corners on my box came slightly dented in, but nothing i'd complain about. WHAT ARE YOUR WAITING FOR? Go buy it now!
