I think I bought this book rather inexpensively from Book Bub and was happy with it. It was a easy read and one that kept my interest throughout. I would say a somewhat predictable ending but that's OK there were a couple surprises throughout to make up for it. A good summer beach read.

I really enjoyed reading An Order Of Coffee and Tears, from beginning to end. It's true; Being a family isn't just about blood. A family looks out for one another, just as the "family" at Angela's did.

This book made me feel like home. Family can appear anywhere and sometimes just when you need it. The lyrical style of his writing made the people and the setting come alive. I want to eat at "Angela's Dinner.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly on many levels. The writing demonstrates a strong control of the craft, as well as a mastery of word choice and mechanics. It was a pleasure to read a book for a change that didn't leave me wincing from the poor editing. The characters were well crafted and believable, and their stories unfolded without feeling rushed or contrived. And the writer's handling of the complex and painful issues was always managed with tender compassion. I would definitely recommend this gentle, uplifting book.

What a well written novel- I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great character development - I found myself relating to and becoming emotionally connected to each one. Definitely brought a few tears to my eyes and I was sad to have it end. It was free when I purchased it- I can't beleive my luck- this was a true gem of a find. I am going to look for other books by this author- he has a catching way with words and I couldn't put it down. If you enjoy human condition type stories- you will enjoy this.

Loved this book! Complety took me away to small town America in what felt like simpler times. Very believable characters with there share of major promblems. A cast of strangers bound together making their own family filled with love. A feel good book.

Everyone has the past they are hidding or running from. Today is what we have. What will we do? Live in the what ifs? Or start again? Beautiful store to get one thinking. All you need is a listening ear and an order of coffee and tears.

I very much enjoyed reading this book. The characters were well developed and emotionally complex. There was some suspense but the ending was upbeat and satisfying. Would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good summer read!

This is one of those rare novels that introduces you to some characters who feel like your close friends as the story progresses. Even without the suspense of waiting to learn the back-stories of the main characters, every page is still a delight. The characters totally stole my heart, and I found myself longing to encounter them in their throw-back diner.
I will definitely be reading more by this author!
