Deep Storm is a fast paced adventure with a number of unique twists. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it highly. I am a Sci-Fi enthusiast, and I think this book would be equally enjoyable to non Sci-Fi readers as well. A delightful adventure that is an easy read and hard to put down!!! What a great and unexpected ending!!!!

Good story with an intriguing premise. Suffers from uneven believability in the situations depicted, and from a rather awkward human story. Nevertheless, I did find it easy to keep going to the end. It's the sort of story that leaves you thinking about how you would have written it. I enjoyed it.

This was another winner for these authors. After reading all their books, I thought I could predict how the events would unfold.
I was wrong. They constantly surprise me with their interesting and knowledgable technical writing.
Great ending and a nail biter to the end.

A government facility deep in the ocean. A message being broadcast which top scientists are trying to discover. A multi-level facility far beneath the ocean with decks unaccessible for security reason and personnel who are coming down with mysterious illnesses. Can a cure be found? What are they looking for?
Great characters and a plot that will keep you gessing until the end.

This book was right on it reiterated man carelessness when it comes to power . It is not good enough to discover something new in nature but mankind has to figure a way to make it a weapon . Which begs the question is there a hirer power watching over us ready to step in to prevent the destruction of the earth I like to think so

The story line of this book keeps the reader turning the pages. A couple of unexpected twists in plot will hold you to the end. Enjoyable and informative. Lincoln Child always spins a very good yarn and this one is no different.

This is a decent page-turner thriller. Worth reading. Now, I feel obligated to clarify something, since sorting it out drove me a little batty. This is not a Jeremy Logan novel. Various lists list this as the first one, but it's really not. It's a standalone Peter Crane novel. There is a very brief chapter featuring Logan doing some research that really doesn't fit into the novel at all. I'm going to assume it was inserted after the fact, when Child decided Jeremy Logan was series-worthy. (Perhaps this wasn't even in the first edition, I dunno.) So there you go, in case you seek out series books, this is optional. But hey I'd be happy to see a Peter Crane series, myself; pretty good character.

I've read almost everything Lincoln Child has written or co-written. This book felt formulaic and the ending was unsatisfying. It was OK but glad I didn't invest in buying it in hardcover. I would have been disappointed.

Follows the formula of the science based thriller ending with the hero and the girl escaping as walls and ceilings collapse around them. This one has a few surprises however, as well as a clever twist on the "aliens left something on Earth" motif. Kept you turning the pages; a good read.

I very much enjoyed the novel and found it difficult to put down. The story is well written and paced just right. On the other hand it is not a particularly new story, it has been told a time or two already. But, oh well, it was told again well.

I thought that this was an excellent thriller with a sci-fi angle. The pace of the tale is right on, the writing intelligent, and the payoff rewarding. Mr. Child has hit a homer with this one. I just hope someone talented is working on the screenplay because this story smells of summer blockbuster! Highly recommended.
