Sinclair writes a real protagonist who questions his own motivations, who actually gets hurt, who is unsure of his future. Rather than a superhero who can do no wrong, Carl Logan is all too human, and you can't help but cheer for him.

I started with Dancing with the Enemy and went right on to the second book Rise of the Enemy. Great story and good characterization. Lots of suspense. I liked both books a lot and can't wait for the third one.

Finish reading all three books. Remind me of the Millenium series by Stieg Larsson. A bit far fetch but the twist keeps it going.
But there is a lot of typo errors. Not sure why the book was released with it. Sometimes I have to read the lines several times to understand there is a typo.
Thin Line (Jack Noble #3) :: Operator Down: A Pike Logan Thriller :: The Diaries - A Gage Hartline Thriller (#1) :: On a Pale Horse (Incarnations of Immortality Book 1) :: Extreme Measures: A Thriller (A Mitch Rapp Novel)

This is the perfect spy thriller in my opinion. The plot is filled with twists, turns, and constant momentum. Sinclair's characters are complex, believable. This is a serious page turner. Binge reading at its finest!

Never heard of Rob sinclair, can't even remember how I found him. Bought both books, and just liked the way he writes. Can't wait for #3...to me, the writing is as important as the story. These books have both. Bo

Has your government given up on you and wants you captured because of lies? Has your lover shot you and disappeared? Can it all work out? Give it time and keep struggling. Sometimes it can. Great story, it has my recommendation. LC

Although the story line is decent enough it dragged horribly and was amateurish with "for sure" or "that was for sure" plus many other such unnecessary comments inserted into sentences. It seemed as though to much time was spent convincing the reader to 007 plot was doable instead of letting the story line flow. With it being wrote in the first person it seems more like a persons fantasy than an actual fiction story.

Usually thrillers jump into action without significant character development or backstory. However. Sinclair's unique action-hero lives as much in his head as in the land of the bad guys. Strongly recommend these two books be read in order.

He keeps the action going. Good twist with Mackie getting assassinated.

Our hero is alone, with really no one to assist. Perhaps not unusual for an action-thriller, but Sinclair does a great job of making the reader feel his anxiety.
