The book really holds your attention. Noble and Bear, who exactly do They work for, Are they as strong as reliable as they seem? The definitly give as good as they give. Violence and pain are in this. All the initials of different groups gets a little confusing.

Another action packed, morally ambiguous Jack Noble thriller. Well written and intricately plotted. Never sure who is the good guy and who is the bad guy, but I guess that's the point when your hero kills people for a living. All in all a fast paced, enjoyable read.

I enjoy action books that contain the same character. The Jack Noble fits fine. Another series I like is about Mitch Rapp who I believe is by David B. who has a continuing series. This is also why I enjoy these books.
Operator Down: A Pike Logan Thriller :: The Diaries - A Gage Hartline Thriller (#1) :: On a Pale Horse (Incarnations of Immortality Book 1) :: Better 1st (first) edition :: RISE OF THE ENEMY a gripping thriller full of suspense (Enemy series Book 2)

The story line was good and it was definitely action packed. But was a little to paranoid for me. Too many agencies screwing each other. Reminds me of the political chaos going on today. If you are really into CIA, FBI, etc. you will like this book.

I really enjoy reading the Jack Noble books! I am purchasing all of the remaining books in the series. L.T. Ryan writes in an easy to read style and there is always something happening in the books... no babbling filler! Thanks for the great series of books at awesome prices. Please keep them coming.

This one just kept getting better and better, while it got you so fired up with the non-stop excitement you couldn't put it down if you needed a bathroom break! Great story-telling in every sense of the term

Jack must have been born under a bad sign because he always finds the worst people and situations. I love the loyalty & relationship with Bear. I'm happy they're together again in this book. Ryan will keep you guessing & on the edge of your seat with this one!

A disappointing and slow starting book compared to what I have come to expect. Fortunately after I managed to stay awake it finally got in gear and became more like the JACK & BEAR I like...'Good ending thanks.....poppie.

From front cover to the end, I was confused, still am. I never understood what was happening, could there be too many plot twists in a book? Glad the hero survived the ending. Thought I'd enjoy this series, not sure now.

Jack Noble is one of those characters that will not let you take a breath similar to the scene in which he is water boarded. L.T must identify quite well with that part of the Forces, like Seals or Delta Force trained people but in the end it is a very well crafted PI story with a bit more bloody scenes. In the end and after many deaths/murders you still like this character because he still seeks justice and is willing to pay the price. The banter between Bear and Jack is also very believable. That there are very dark forces in this world and usually in high places is another interesting twist, so you keep cheering for Jack and I will keep reading whatever L.T. puts in front of me, although his Jack Noble series is about as many I have read, six so far and lovin' it!

When buying these novels I was not expecting the next catcher in the Rye. However with each successive novel the inconsistencies, poor character development and fairly lame plot lines have convinced me, even as light reading, this one should be my last.

My first read by this author. I am very impressed. The story grows with intensity with every chapter. It makes you want to help the characters as they make their way through the story. I highly recommend and can't wait to see what the next book holds.

An excellent book really good hard to let down. There were a few typos in it but I was able to make out what they meant so it did not hurt the story. Some one else might not. But I would recommend it I enjoyed it and Can't wait for the next one.

As the Noble series progresses the reader can see Ryan is getting stronger at realistic dialogue and building better plot lines. It is still occasionally jumpy, but the flow is growing better with each book.
