This is my last feehan book. Wild cat disgusted me a bit . But when I arrived at Carlotta. I put down the book , was cooking for the children and I just felt dirty. Plain dirty to read filthy things like guys do sometimes .the women humiliation. My skin is crawling. There I am done . I do not read about beautiful women being destroyed . I much prefer Loretta chase lord of scoundrel , or ilona andrews kate Daniels, but the latest Ilona Andrews ( alphas origins) just rub me the wrong way for the same reason. What is happening with female writer . Just kinky and dirty . For me it is kinky porn.

This was a 3.5 and could easily have been a 4. I was nervous reading this. I've slowly stopped buying various CF series books because the "heroes" have become violent, belligerent and abusive. The women suck it up and lose whatever they had that made them interesting. So yep, kept waiting for Casimir to turn into a hateful man. He didn't. In fact he was quite sweet which is saying something when you think of her last 3-4 books. I'm almost hopeful she read or heard reader feedback. Anyway, this starts great with Lissa running aka going away for work to get away in case a Prasenski brother shows up. I LOVED that. 5 brothers showing up and marrying your friends is a red alert. I like Lissa's character and her secret life. I was super excited when I realized she was a fire element. All of the ladies on the farm have a special skill set so I couldn't wait to see how that played out. It didn't. Talk about total miss. A fire element who didn't do one single thing fire related. Casimir is supposed to be fire based too but he didn't really burn up anything either. No big explosions or fireworks and as the book plodded along I realized I was bored. There's a great set up, great hero and heroine and the whole fire piece but Lissa does what she went there to do and Casimir fights his protective nature to let her do it then there's a scene with the last brother who is single. (side note-one thing that stood out to me in the last Feehan books is her style mirroring contemp/NA author Kristen Ashley. A lot of "you get me." "eyes on me". Those are lines that feature heavy in KA books from the very first one and I noticed Feehan using it lately. I mention it because low and behold the last Prasenki brother is undercover in a MC and talks that way. I'm sure we're going to get a book where Christine Feehan is going to truly explore the whole dark, mean hero who treats the heroine like crap that she's been playing with. I see it coming) KA's heroes are beyond sweet and protective but I think CF is going to miss the mark by a mile.
Back to this book, bland watered down and lacking in paranormal elements. We don't get to see them back on the farm interacting with everyone else which would have been nice. The sneak peek in back of Shadow Riders does have my interest though. The writing flowed and gave me glimpses of the old CF. Please let it be as good as it started

Have to concur with the other reviewers. In the past her books have been amazing, plot twisty with some spice thrown in. This was has a great plot that pulls you in and then there is spice and more spice and more spice and more spice. As one reviewer said, it became easy to glance over parts of the book. It has a good pace but speeds up at what feels like odd times - too much detail and then not enough... love the characters. love this author, like the series. All that said at the price point I would purchase again.

Christine Feehan has once again proven why she is the Queen of Paranormal Romance with her latest Sea Haven novel, "Fire Bound." I wasn't sure how Ms Feehan would incorporate Lissa's three different work destinations, romance, and her personal agenda within the confines of a single novel but she did so deftly and with impeccable style. Another huge win for Christine Feehan! I can't wait to read Viktor's story! I have Stage IV breast cancer and I seriously look forward to reading about Viktor and Blythe!

I just want to say, I quit listening to all the negative reviews of Chistine Feehan's books. Several times I didn't buy one of her books because of the negative reviews, and then I bought it and loved it, couldn't understand the negative reviews, but, I will say this, all those negatives should just go find another author. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, it never dragged, you were caught up in it from the beginning! Of course, I love the unreality, and just fun. This is a great read!

This is a fictional work but there is a universal truth that we have people who will do anything for power . We need people who will stand up to them and in this case we have two fierce warriors who will fight to the death to avenge the people they love. These two Lissa and Casmir have found love and passion in an unexpected situation. It is an epic battle and you must read to see who wins.

I loved this book and hated every time someone interrupted me while reading it. Finally we get Lissa's story and her demeanor in the other books Start to make since. She's an assassin who will do what needs to be done to avenge her parents and keep her new family safe. Of course there is a Prakenskii brother for her also. I really can't wait for the next book in this series.

I REALLY LIKED SOME STORIES IN THIS SERIES BETTER THEN OTHERS. RIKKI DID NOT APPEAL TO ME, NOT BECAUSE OF THE AUTISM, BUT BECAUSE HER PERSONALITY WAS OFF PUTTING. MAXS STORY OF PEDOPHILIA WAS TOO RAW FOR ME.
CASIMIR WAS A STRONG, PROTECTIVE CHARACTER, VERY LIKEABLE. I REALLY LIKED LISSA AND HOW HER CHARACTER DEVELOPED .
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE LAST BOOK OF VIKTOR.

These stories are so good. Almost all of the Prakinski brothers have peace and happiness with some very special women. This one is about Lissa/Giacinta and Casimir together they finally rid them of the biggest danger to their extended family. Can't wait for the final brother getting his happy ever after.

This is the next in the series of the "Sisters of the Heart" stories. Fabulous series and sometimes confronting as it does explore the human sex trafficking trade. However, these topics are dealt with appropriately and (I feel) with a view to provide information to the reader not glorification. It is great to see the linking with the Drake Sisters series which was also brilliant! I can't wait to read the final book!! Thank you for making the characters strong but flawed and yet so utterly absorbing! In a world that seems so morally ambiguous, it is lovely to find characters which resonate with a strong moral compass, notwithstanding a terrible past. Thank you for your books!!

Christine Feehan keeps the families together. The 'sisters' on the farm gathered together from unexpected places, then the men who love them start showing up. Assassins come in both genders, you know....loved this book and the whole series. Couldn't stop til I knew how it came out!

I enjoyed how in depth the characters have been in this series. The tension caused by the protagonist was real and I wish the series would continue! I want to know what happens with Viktor and Blythe, I want to see Viktor kill the leader of the bike gang and his brother!

I loved this story from the very beginning. Love those Prasinski men!! Casimir is my favorite along with Lev. Water bound with Rikki and Lev, the first book in this series had me hooked. Although I had already fallen for Ilya and Jolie from the first Sea Haven series. I even visited the Caspar Inn where Ilya zapes Jolie to claim her, I love the northern California coastline.
I don't know which of these 3 Prakinski brothers I like best.
Looking forward to Viktor and Blythe' s story next.

Suspense, hot romance, thrilling adventure, great plots, & characters that strum the heartstrings. Complex and complicated life stories bring the characters, good & bad, to life. Feehan creates imaginative worlds with fascinating characters, & I enjoy them greatly.

A great and exciting read. Feehan always comes through with a great story, and this one lives up to it's sister books. Betrayal of the worst kind, finding love and a home form the basis of this book. I can heartedly recommend it.

Each book in the Sisters of the Heart series is more captivating and heart stopping than the one before. The emotions you feel make you a part of the action....and trust me there's action. I can't wait for Blyth's story...the only sad part is that there are not more sisters and more amazing stories. You will be unable to put this book down..so set aside time and sit back and enjoy the journey .

Return to Sea Haven briefly to join the sisters of the heart as they say goodbye to Lissa. She's got a job to do and she's determined to not let anything stop her. Lissa is fire bound and has hidden her real self from her sisters but now she's about to set out to correct her past and bring about justice, protecting her sisters.
I loved this book. Lissa is a fiery young lady who has a strength of character. Seeing her fall in love with Casmir Prakenskii, was amazing. Understanding all she went through only brought me closer to her. While Casmir is just as bossy as his brothers, I found his need to protect Lissa endearing.
This is one of my favorite of Ms. Feehan's series. She keeps it fresh each time and has given readers a sneak peek into Viktor's story! I can't wait!

I have followed the women of Sea Haven since the first Drake story. The Drake stories were so good that I didn't think that Christine Feehan could improve on them, but I was wrong. Each of the Sisters of the Heart have been so different that you can't predict what will happen. This book is no different. The views we have had of Lissa gave no hint what-so-ever of the very deep and dark background she possessed. It will be very interesting to see what will happen with Blyrhe and Victors story. I hope that the fact that Victor comes with an entire team means that we will continue to visit Sea Haven in the future.

Lissa's turn is in this book and her man is Casimir. Of course he is a Prakenskii just like all her "sister's" husband's.
Lissa is a glass blower and a fire power, as is Casimir. Together they help each other overcome some of their obstacles to happiness.
Oh yes, they are also both trained assassins; Lissa for an Italian mob family and Casimir for the Russians!

I usually love the Sea Haven books, and these six women who found each other and became the support system for one another.. The stories up until now have always had all the characters in it and were usually located, for at least part of the time,on the island. This one was located in Italy and did not have the usual cast of characters but only the one sister and the man she meets in Italy ( not to give anything away). It was about murder, and revenge, sex trafficking and violence to women, and frankly it was sickening, rather than titillating. I am very disappointed in the Feenan books lately, as Ms.Feenan has seemed to move over into S&M, and torture of women, and I am not interested. Too bad....
Very disappointed in NY.

Let me start that saying that until recently I've been a passionate fan of everything Christine Feehan does. Her last 3 or 4 books have gone completely off the rails though. It seems like she has hired a ghost writer who is following in the footsteps of 50 shades. Some sex therapy may be needed.
This book is NASTY. Rape and torture are clearly depicted, and are made to seem sexy. Several scenes in this book go beyond R and way into X.
Beyond the fact that this book is dark, twisted and nasty, it's just not fun to read. The female character is completely submissive and weak. I expected much more out of a Fire element. The male lead is arrogant and dismissive. There is very little plot, and about 65% of the book is boring, repetitive, dominate/submissive sex. Pages and pages of the same stuff, over and over to the point that I skipped a large portion of the second half of the book. There is little plot to be had between the nauseating sex scenes.
Bring Christine's old style of writing back! I loved the Drake sisters novels. I loved Mikhail, Gregory, Aiden, Lucian and Gabriel and all of their lifemates. I cannot read, and refuse to support an author that writes about women being sexually abused (the term 'fisted' was used), tortured ("He would beat her until she was deliciously striped") and brutally murdered (blood splatter in a ring around the body). This is not sexy, romantic or in any way acceptable! Seriously, save your money and re-read Christine's older novels while searching for a new author. Yuck.

Feehan has been my favorite author for years but now I almost dread a new book coming out. In this book she totally changed the formula that has made this series great. In every book six women come together to protect their family but in this book they were only together in the first chapter. After that we have to read chapter after chapter about sex and killing.
There was no romance between the main characters. They saw each other and then they were in bed. No build up to a relationship just sex. The sex scenes were not about love but about dominance. It was filth! I don't want to read about bondage! News flash not everyone enjoyed 50 shades of gray!! We even had to suffer the details of bondage and rape from the villain's point of view. It was horrific!
Unfortunately I will read the next book in this series because of being the last one. However if she keeps up this dominant junk that is going on in this series and all of her other books then I won't be reading anymore. When I spend my hard earned money on a book I want a story not page after page of sex.

Was seriously disappointed. Have every book in each of her series, this did not match up to her usual flair. Way too much sex scenes and NOT enough action in her story. Usually she has you glued to the pages, not this time. Not sure if I even want to get the final book of the Sisters of the Heart series. The first ones had you feeling every anxious moment, and this one I was flipping though pages trying to find one that actually had something besides sex on them. Wasn't up to her usual excellence.

I just finished Fire Bound, and it may be the last Christine Feehan book I read. There is a very disturbing trend to the latest CF books, that of very domineering, borderline cruel "heroes." The "villains" have gone WAY downhill. This book particularly has two "bad guys" that take cruelty and degenerate behavior toward women to a whole new level. I don't know what has happened to CF's thought processes. Her heroes have always been dominant, and the women generally gave back as good as they got. Now, the men are much more overbearing, and some of the women don't fight back and stand up for themselves as much as they used to. Yes, I know, this is a novel, fiction, however some of what is going on in this book takes place in real life, and I don't want to read about it in a book of fiction. I borrowed Fire Bound from my library, and I'm glad I didn't pay money for it. I discovered Christine Feehan late, so I have been reading her books almost non-stop for the last couple of years. It's been easy to see the downward spiral of CF's writing. I hope she reads these reviews (as I've seen I'm not the only one who's noticed the changes for the worse) and stops to reflect on why she has so much animosity toward women lately, why she feels she has to treat some of the women in her novels like disposable trash. Anyone who has read the Sea Haven books knew long ago that Blythe was already bound to a Prakenskii. I was looking forward to Blythe's story, however, having met Viktor in Fire Bound, and hearing about his life, I'm afraid to read it. Viktor is likely to be the worst of the brothers. Yuck.

Fire Bound was just an okay read, for me anyways. It wasn’t anything that would’ve had me screaming from the rooftops, nor was it anything I would discourage others from reading either. It was predictable to a degree; the premise following the exact formula of the last 5 books. So prepare yourself for a sense of déjà vu.
With that said, I was quite surprised with the twist Feehan threw in, making things quite interesting. That twist became this book’s saving grace. It’s what held my attention long enough to enjoy the direction the author took the plot and characters in. Though, I’ll be very honest, without the twist, Fire Bound would have definitely been a complete flop.
For die hard fans of the series, this is definitely a must read, it progresses the Prakenskii brothers’ story line with a major development. I wouldn’t, however, suggest new readers start the series with this one. While it can technically be read as a standalone, those not familiar with the brothers’ history/back story will feel completely lost, even with Feehan’s knack for rehashing.
The fifth installment, in the Sisters of the Heart, is back with the ever present trafficking subject matter. While I don’t mind this line of plot, I know many are not fans of topics such as this. Fellow bookworms, if you’re considering sitting down with this one, just know this isn’t for those who enjoy fluffier reads. Or even for those looking for an angsty read. Lately, Feehan’s books have been light on the romance/angst and heavy on the vivid, graphic brutality. Casmir and Lissa’s journey is no different. In fact, theirs may just be the most merciless.
Speaking of Casmir and Lissa, they were about the only thing I loved with any kind of consistency. They fell in behind Ilya and Jolie/Jackson and Elle for my favorites. I adored the hell out of them. C&L were the perfect balance of saint and sinner. (For those who don't know, the brothers are fated, so these stories are all about the insta and not so much about relationship growth, which is normal in a lot of paranormal/fantasy.)
Now lets to get the nitty gritty on why I gave Fire Bound three stars versus the four stars its predecessors received. It’s no secret I’ve struggled with this author as of late; it seems to be either hit or miss with Christine Feehan. I am so over this author’s need for repetitiveness. When I find myself skimming you’ll find yourself with a lower rated book. I get these are interlocking standalones, but seriously, readers don’t need details repeated half a million times. The whole time all I could think was is Feehan out of new ideas or does she no longer have the desire to do these characters justice?
I mean WTF! Don’t fail us now, give us and the characters the ending we all deserve! On that thought, while I'm wicked excited for Viktor's book, I'm also quite nervous. He's the end. The. seventh. brother. If she doesn't do his book up right fans across the globe will be on a witch hunt, me included.

I would honestly like to know if Christine Feehan is actually the one who is writing these books. The last book in every series (in some series the last two to three books) have taken a really horrible turn. They are more about sex, S&M and abuse then an actual story. I LOVED the sea haven stories, until this last book where it’s all sex and no story. The Ghost Walker series was amazing until the last three books which were all about sex and overbearing males… infact the last book in that series (Spider Game) left me with a bad taste in my mouth, the male was emotionally abusive and it was supposed to be sexy??? The Dark series was always a bit “dark” (haha) but the last few books have been over the top. I seriously question whether she is writing them… and if she is, then she has obviously run out of good story lines and is relying on sex to get her through. I’ve returned the last two books and the audiobooks I bought (Spider Game and this one). I won’t be buying anymore.

ARC/unabridged audio/romance: I got the CD version from Goodreads in lieu of an honest review.
This review contains spoilers because it's that bad.
It was your below average romance novel. I had read several of the Drake Sisters books, but I struggled through 80% of the pages in each book because I do not like the author’s writing style, but I wanted to know what happened to the sisters. This Bound series is in the same world, but these “sisters” are women brought together by tragedy and not related. Their men are all brothers. ALL the character, hero or villain, are unredeemable; it’s to the point of the lesser of two evils.
Impressions on the first two discs: I hate the plot so far. It’s a bunch of people with rich people problems. They have so much time on their hands; they go around and seek drama by killing past enemies. This got old.
Then there’s the brothers living on the farm with their “marked” women. You could cut the testosterone with a knife with just one brother in the room, but there were too many cocks in the henhouse. They’re all mysterious assassins.
Then Casimir and Lissa hook up. I know what happened; blame it on Fifty Shades of Gray. Seriously, Casimir needs to go sit down somewhere and wind his watch. How dare he claim “his woman?” The revengeful Lissa does have a day job and Casimir treats her like a piece of furniture he wants to own and sit on three times a day.
Disc three is only unsafe sex and the author repetitive is on plot points that have already been brought up, over and over and over again. The sex is supposed to be steamy, but the dialog is horrible (the narrator does read this part very well, but I kept waiting for her to break out in laughter). Casimir says he’s clean and Lissa the 35 year old virgin is on birth control? Then Lissa agrees to be “psy marked” by Casimir. At this point I was missing Anita Blake more than ever before. Lissa is a doormat. Casimir is a fool. He thinks himself a strong man and and Lissa is a strong woman and they will clash. No, she is gullible and naive. (And Kasmir keep calling her names in Russian and she never asked what they mean. As a reader I think he is calling her a “gluttonous cat”.) I kept on thinking of when Anita Blake found out Jean-Claude “marked” her. She spent the next book and a half thinking of ways she could get away with killing him.
Discs four: They finally get out of bed. Lissa is on the move and again plot points are being repeated. The plot still has no continuity. So Casimir’s enemy killed his family when he was a child. Then sent Casimir and his brothers to a special assassin’s school…hoping they would grow up loyal and not come back to kill them? Seriously? Lissa’s backstory is even more preposterous. It would not be so bad if the author kind of glanced over it, but instead she keeps repeating points like she’s wants to talk me into Lissa and Casimir being heroic characters.
Disc five, six & seven: More detailed backstory on the bad guys; just when you can’t believe a human being can be that evil, the author throws in how one of them killed a child and beats & starves his dogs. Then the other bad guy isn’t bad enough, so the author details him raping his enemy’s widow and planning to put her into sex slavery; no, make that a passenger on a “snuff” cruise. Again, she is trying to justify the heroine and hero killing them later on in the book. Then Casimir has guilt that he’s not good enough for Lissa; for about as long as it takes to get her trousers down.
Disc 8 & 9: the wedding and honeymoon and me rolling my eyes. I guess Lissa isn’t the “strong woman” Casimir thinks she is. I give this “marriage” two months. Seriously, what year is this that you marry some guy you’ve known for a week? You’re not in love, you’re in lust. If you think Casimir’s brother is a “Neanderthal”, look at the guy you just married. And I looked up what entails a Russian Orthodox wedding and they only had the civil ceremony part. Lissa grew up in Italy. Seriously, she’s going to get married Orthodox? I had an uncle who married Orthodox. It’s a big deal to a Roman Catholic or a Protestant. Then they murder a couple of more enemies using their endless trove of cash to buy stuff like guns, explosives, and rental cars (using several false ID’s).
Disc 10: Gross, you don’t demand a woman get on all fours and put her face on a wool rug…on a hotel floor. When Lissa gets up, she isn’t itchy or completely grossed out by putting her face on a hotel wool rug. Then after another murder they commit, they finish their honeymoon. Casimir loves that Lissa is such a strong woman, but he is constantly making her do things that aren’t good for her. Riding topless and having sex in the sun is something a redhead should never ever do. Then there is that thing they did on the horse. Really? Between the lace seat and the unwashed hands, Lissa should have a huge rash on her va-j-j or at the very least, a bladder infection. Casimir is born in Russia and not Jewish, but he’s circumcised? Seriously?
After the horse scene, I decided to give this book one star.
Disc 11: It’s almost over. Nope, there’s another whole disc where our two heroes assassins go after Casimir’s enemies in Russia. The two have guns and large amounts of TNT within days and remember, Casimir doesn’t have a paying job. The bomb is completely explained away on how it was placed in the tunnels. Then when Casimir needs to use the psy-palm thingy, it doesn’t work. So what exactly is his power?...or hers for that matter? She supposed to be this creature of fire? And no, she doesn’t burn any of her victims to death, she just gets hot flashes whenever Casimir is around. The final action scene would have been better if the endless, repetitive narrative, explaining to me one more time, how bad these bad guys are was omitted.
For the final sex scene, Casimir waits until Lissa is about to climax and makes her promise to retire as an assassin, stay at home and make babies. Hate to break it to you Casimir, but that don’t count.
In conclusion: This book was awful and the editor needed to cut about 200 pages out and fix all the continuity problems. I did not like or relate to either of the main characters. Lissa is going to regret marrying Casimir. He has no redeeming qualities and no job skills. I guess he can get a job parking cars or tutoring Russian at a community college.
I have been following this series for the intrigue and the unusual supernatural elements; all of which, this book was lacking. It almost feels as though a different author took the reins and babbled endlessly about nothing and belabored points, the same points, repeatedly. Additionally, the calculated murders by the protagonists were so brutal and dark that the lines between right and wrong were definitely blurred. This was especially so when a weird love scene spawned after each such event. It seemed as though the author attempted to touch on as many almost deviant aspects as possible to draw a different sort of audience. As a result, I found myself skipping through gratuitous sections and just hoping for better based on prior books by the same author. Unfortunately, that was not to be. The Drake Sisters series was much better. Sadly, the storyline seems to be disintegrating as it drags on... A lack of interest from the writer?

Flame-haired Lissa Piner is a skilled glass blower whose delicate gift conceals a burning inner strength that can destroy as exquisitely as it can create. Commissioned to design chandeliers for a string of luxury hotels, her remarkable skills have taken her to Italy. But Lissa’s real mission there is a secret. For her entire life has been a lie, leading to a chance to avenge a terrible wrong.
Enlisted as her bodyguard is Casmir Prakenskii, a trained assassin living off the grid. In Lissa, he sees a kindred spirit—something unexpected and wicked, mysterious and sensual. But more than desire is about to bring them together: because both of their pasts cry out for revenge. And for two people with this many secrets, this much passion, and this many enemies, someone is bound to get burned.
My Review:
I've been waiting for Cas's story but I'm insanely disappointed. I don't know what has happened to Christine's writing. It started off okay but I'm at the point that I don't think Christine is the one writing her books anymore.
I just can't believe she would fail this way. One book after another, every series has been horrendously affected by the increasing violence against women in her work.
I didn't understand the relationship I don't get the dragged out plot, the repetition of information we already know, I don't understand the fact that I can't tell who is the bad guy from the good guy or who is supposed to be the good guy because the heroes are just as violent and manipulative as the criminals.
The thing I used to love most about Christine's characters were that the women were empowered and the men embraced and cared for their women, now they just mess with their heads, their emotions, and treat them like dirt. Its an extreme change that has continued to the point where I'm wondering where or if it will end.

It seems that some of the best writers have fallen for the idea that a romantic sexy story means that there should be lots of graphic sex, bondage, torture and violence. There was so much in this book that I stopped reading it about a third of the way through. I am not a prude, but I learned some things that I pray I can erase from my memory. I am not entertained by violence against women, pornography, bondage, and torture. I understand that some of the backstory required some insights into this hell, but I didn't expect it to be reduced to graphic pornography. I am saddened that good authors have drank the 50 shades of shame kool aid and are reverting to disgusting stories. I didn't like the plot, but could live with the possibility of a child raised as an assassin and betrayed by family. But I am not prepared to accept disgusting sexual and violence against women as entertainment. I did not buy this book. I borrowed it from the public library. I will definitely read Feehan reviews closely in the future and only borrow books that seem worthy of my time and attention. I will buy outstanding reads, but I won't even read any more Feehan novels with hints of so many disgusting situations.

First, having read over 30 of Ms. Feehan's books, including the entire Dark series, I am not against sex in books I read. Fire Bound has a terrific story and plot. That I enjoyed. The hardcore violent sex was more than I wanted to read about. I barely got through the books in the Dark series that went all wolf/dragon because her style of writing the "love" scenes had drastically changed and had gotten a lot rougher than I cared for. Fire Bound went way over the edge. It will be the last book I read of hers. Either someone with a twisted idea of romance is writing for her, or she has had a massive change in her life that has totally corrupted her ideas of romantic sex/love. Sorry Christine, but I'm over it.

I am so disappointed with this book. Have loved every one of the Sea Haven stories until this one. I totally don't understand this surge of writers trying to write the 50 Shades stuff. I'd have bought that book if I wanted over the top dominance sex. Fire sense was only mentioned in molten hot lava sex - over and over again. Enough already.

This was my first time reading this book and I’m so glad that I waited to re-read the Drake sisters and The Sisters of the Heart books.
I had actually gotten used to the other books not having any bedroom time until close to the end so this one just felt a little fast to me.
Also, I’m not really sure how I feel about the brothers suddenly being bound to elements. I can understand Max because he’s like Hannah and I could understand her being bound to wind as well but weren’t they supposed to be like the Drake sisters? Now some are elements? I figured Casmir would be a truth speaker like Abbey.
Now, I do really like the way Casmir was introduced and I was very excited to meet Viktor. I can’t wait for his book, just a couple more months!
The writing here just seemed tame, especially with what’s going on and all the emotion that’s supposed to be involved. How they handled the Sorbacov’s was a little anti-climactic as well, I was expecting more because they had been built up for six books.
The cover is alright but like with Spirit Bound, I feel it could have been better. Showed something to do with her element, maybe have a fire going or something?
The couple, while I loved Casmir, I wasn’t all that taken with Lissa. I really loved the fact that he knew how to be romantic when I’m used to the Prakenskii men not knowing how to be.

I admit I haven’t read books 1-3 of this series. I enjoyed Earthbound which was why I picked up Fire Bound. I have to say, fire is so much hotter than earth!
Fire Bound takes us out of Sea Haven and into Europe where we see the person Lissa has been hiding. Of course the Sea Haven Prakenskii’s are not going to let her go off without some kind of escort and we get to meet yet another brother.
Lissa and Casamir are so much alike. They both have spent their lives pretending to be other people. Doing jobs that no one else can handle, and becoming new people all the time. Also, being of the same element, it’s not a wonder the two are meant to be together. It is not long before Lissa realizes just who Casamir is. The two are like magnets and pulled together. Lissa thought she was going to be one of the sisters not to be taken by a Prakenskii. So wrong. Those boys seem to come out of no where all the time. We even get to meet another one in this story which is a complete surprise and what he has to say is some great foreshadowing.
Lissa arrives in Italy with her initial objectives that she performs every year for her uncle Luigi. However, Casamir discovers parts of Lissa’s life that takes everything she’s known and turns it upside down. The two end up dealing with a lot more than just the quick job Lissa started with. That whole mob part of the story was so intense. The actions of the characters were so cruel, and sometimes just obscene. The descriptions were very detailed and would make you cringe. I experienced great satisfaction at the final job in Italy.
You would think that would make for the end of the book, but Lissa and Casamir are both determined to take out the threat to the Prakenskii family. They both had plans to take care of this threat, so it was only natural the two come together with their plan. This was a quick but emotional section of the story. They both went in knowing the risks, but they were determined to take care of these people for good.
Ok, now, I found the sex and relationship so much hotter than in Earth Bound. Lissa and Casamir are definitely fire elements and it shows in their relationship. It is hot. Casamir has been trained in the art of sexual acts and Lissa is more than willing to let him show her what he knows.
Overall I found Fire Bound exciting and thrilling. The whole story just pulled you into a story of political intrigue and love all in one. I have a slight complaint with the names. They alternated calling each other by their alter egos and real names. Lissa more so than Casamir. Lissa went into calling him by his real name fairly quickly, but I think Casamir called Lissa everything. From her few names to all the little endearments. It did get a bit confusing at times. There could have been a tone I was missed that would cause him to call her different names at different times.
Ok, I don’t see another book on Goodreads. There has to be a follow up with this. I have to know what happens to Vicktor. I’ll be keeping my eyes open!

Series: Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart bk 5

Thoughts: This was the book that I've been waiting for in this series.
We FINALLY get to see all the Prakenskii brothers together...kind of. All of them are in this book and interact with Casmir. And having FINALLY met all of them I can safely say that Ilya is still my favorite.
There's a lot more to Lissa than we've seen and not all of it's pretty.
She's really, really, really pissed off at her brothers-in-law when she discovers Casmir is tailing her.
My heart hurt for both of them as they were old enough to remember everything that happened to their families and we relive those memories with them.
Like all the other books in this series the sex is holy freaking hot and then some.
Lissa isn't scared of Victor the oldest Prakenskii brother who is scary as F.
Lissa and Casmir end one of the story arc's in this series and set up the ending to the other major story arc in it.
Based on what Victor tells Lissa and Casmir I have a feeling there will be another spin-off series and I'm slightly intrigued by.
One of the better books in this series and I can't wait for the last one as I suspect there will be some FIREWORKS between the two main characters...and their siblings.

I couldn’t wait to start this story – another book in a series I love! The Prakenskii brothers are all alpha, all the time, while the Sea Haven sisters’ strengths match them in every way. Each instalment so far has seen a blood brother paired with a sister (by choice) with each story offering something unique as the elements around us. What they all have in common is the unquestionable love and commitment they have for each other…
Casmir Prakenskii is a man living in the shadows but ready to do whatever he can to support his brothers. What he and his brothers endured growing up is what nightmares are based on. They are edgy and distrustful outside of their small circle and you can easily understand why. Being separated very young, I think they try even harder to maintain the connection between them, no matter the time or distance. When called, Casmir could do nothing else but answer regardless of his circumstances.
“He had no home, no name, no past and no future.”
Lissa Piner felt like a fraud even as she lived with her chosen sisters and loved them as her own.
“Practically everything about her was a lie…”
Lissa’s childhood was marred by the violent death of her parents. Every action after that was governed by a deep seated need for vengeance. Betrayal was an ugly word. With not all of it in the past, her final missions were going to be marred with more loss and sorrow than she could have ever dreamed…
How these two lost souls, living in the shadows behind secrets and lies, found each other and forged ahead together was everything I wanted in their story. It tugged every emotion as it equally entertained and delighted with twisty turns and super sexy scenes. I cried, I blushed… and laughed in between. Oh, and definitely fell in love with Casmir – strong, devoted and someone you can count on to have your back, each and every time. Sigh….

Sigh….
From the depths to the heights, this story took me on a ride I’m reluctant to leave. Thank goodness for at least one more sister/brother pairing in the wings!

The long anticipated book (at least for me) in the Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart series was a delicious foray into fire filled passion. Once these two gave in to their passion for each other they just didn't quit. I can't tell you how many times they made love, but thankfully the plot line and conflicts were never lost amongst all of the steamy scenes. These two were made for each other and were the perfect match. I like how he didn't try to control her or tell her she couldn't seek out her revenge against those who killed her family. I loved how she strived to show him love and acceptance of who and what he was. I enjoyed the story. I won't spill the beans on the final plot elements, but I am glad the brothers are safe and hopefully free. I so am looking forward to the last book and I have already tried to hunt down details about it, but nothing has been posted yet which means a long wait. Boohoo. Anyway, it was a great read, even with all of the steamy sex that seemed to happen in every chapter (though that is probably an exaggeration). Unlike Feehan's Cat's Lair where it got to the point where I had to skip pages to get past the sex scenes to get back to the story, this one didn't get to the point where I was like "enough is enough, get back to the story".

Expected so much more from this author and this storyline. Here we have two great characters that are flush full of potential but they never really show all that strength and deadly training. Instead it is more about the explicit sex scenes - dont get me wrong i love some down and dirty details, but when its all that there is with only a little of the plot thrown in here and there...that is what was so wrong and off about this book. The potential was there, the characters were awesome and all it needed was to focus more on the actual plot and delve deeper into the story and less into all the sex scenes. You know it is to much when you start to skim and flip thru sex scenes to try and get back to the plot and action series. So disappointed and its one that I wont read again....

I had read the reviews of Fire Bound, and decided to check it out at the local library before considering buying it. I am so glad I did! As one other reviewer said, apparently being a fire elemental meand a lot of hot sex, pun intended, also. I don't mind skipping a couple of pages if the author gets into too much detail and too many explicit sex events, but in Fire Bound, I had to skip most of several chapters! I much prefer using my imagination rather than have all of the details described. I have enjoyed the other Sea Heaven books. Actually I usually enjoy all of Christine Feehan's work. But recently, she has been adding more explicit sex scenes to her work. I may have to reluctantly stop reading her books. I will give a few more books a trial, but I will not buy one automatically, as I used to. Now I will wait and borrow them from my local library. I hope this trend that so many authors are following changes soon.
Having said all that I will add that if you are not distracted by all those details and can find the story, you will find a very good job of character development and enjoy the story...until you have to skip more pages of explicit (and very detailed) sex.

Christine Feehan has been a favored author from the beginning. I re-read & re-read her books. However, this in one of three that seemed to take forever to read. I give this book three stars because the story, and the action was interesting. the descriptions of the setting makes me want to travel to the area and see it for myself. The problem was the excessive sex scenes. I had to re-check the author thinking it was Lora L. or Maya B. except it seemed to go on for ever. I'm a read-every-work person but I had to walk away and come back later. It seemed that a whole chapter was excess script of sex. Once through, I did enjoy the ending. but it was a 'cliff hanger' and I'm anxious for the next Sea Haven entry. I do hope it leaves something to the imagination in the intimate area..

I went into a major chain store's books section and was so happy to see a new Sea Haven installment that I snatched it off the shelf, paid for it and rushed to my car to begin reading. I am now only halfway through it and I got the biggest letdown. There is too much 'porn' so I skip pages and double back some because I feel I've missed some part of the plot. It's a struggle to get through. Maybe I'll just skip to the end and call it good.

Good story but yet again Christine went overboard on the sex scenes! I enjoy a good romance novel with scenes of intimacy and sex but when it then becomes were there's more of that going on then the story is lost. If I wanted to read erotic porn I would but I enjoy an actual book with a storyline, plot and romance added in here and there. I'm disappointed because yet again this book would have been Fantastic instead of just Good. It seems allot of Christine Feehans books/series are written in this way when in the beginning of her first published books they were not. That's why I'm giving this a 3 instead of a 5 star rating. :(

I have been a faithful Christine Feehan reader for years but her latest books in all her series have been so very disappointing. And as I am seeing many other reviewers saying the same thing I hope she will take our comments to heart. She has such imaginative ideas but lately her books are 70% sex scenes which have become boring and repetitive as well as pretty unappealing. I don't know if it has to do with the popularity of 50 Shades but everything now seems to involve male dominance to an alarming degree along with bondage and very rough sex. Her heroines are becoming less interesting and her heroes less appealing. Good looks and lots of money do not a hero make. I would rather wait longer for the next installment in a series than to continue to suffer through rote writing and unappealing characters.

Once again this book is basically sex , sex , and more sex. I'm starting to wondering if Mrs. Feehan has a ghost writer for her last couple of books. I know she claims there was always sex in her past books, which is true but we also got a story with all the sex scene. But now all we get is 80% sex and 20% story if we are lucky .

I had enjoyed the predecessors but this was my least favorite as it lacked substance and had too much sex. I had to fast forward some of the pages while reading because of it. The only thing I sort of liked was the wedding which showed the precursor to Viktor's story even though I had already predicted his last target and "wife" from like the start of the story as it is the proposed conclusion. But then the author has set it up for "17" additional Alphas to be settling in Sea Haven at the retreat for future stories. I do not mind Alphas but that is too much in one community & on one property along with the Drakes, they need to be spread out all over the world. Plus more balance is required especially with the leads its a bit off. I sincerely hope that her "last" novel in this series is a huge improvement with a decent story, the heroine giving uber Alpha an extremely hard time she is justified - major balance here and a satisfactory ending.

I love Christine Feehan's work.
That being said, she fell into the trap some authors do. I knew by the tenth chapter I was going to feel a little cheated. The Sorbacov build up was huge, but she spent so much time on the other storyline that by the time she moved on the book only had two chapters left.
She built these two Russian characters up in five previous books. Untouchable monsters for so many families. Only to be defeated in like two sentences. Very anticlimactic.

I enjoyed the first books in this series, and this one started out pretty good. The first books had Feehan's usual pages and pages of explicit sex scenes, which quickly become boring, but the last couple of her books I've read are tending more and more to a violent BSDM style, which frankly disgusts me. As I previously stated, the first half was pretty good, but in the last half, the story bogged down and really never got going again until the last couple of chapters. This would have been a much better book had the author worried more about the story and less about the word count.

As many has stated before, completely disappointed but at this point didn't completely take me by surprise. It definitely seems like it's a different author this past few years, from the author of 4-5 years ago :(. Her books have gotten more and more boring, not to mention repetitive, that you end up skimming through the book. She used to be a favorite and unique author, now she's just another generic writer.

I havd to agree with several other reviews. Way to much sex not enough story. The concept of all the books in the series is wonderful all the women damaged in some horrible way. The brother's even more damaged saving each other. This book is the next to the last and could have brought the brothers all together and started not only the end but the beginning for Blyth. I hope the next spends time on the farm with all the brothers interacting. and i hope its soon not years away.

I enjoyed the story but still found it repetitive, not as much as her books have been lately but still found myself skimming pages. I loved the action parts to the story but both the characters were fire elements and nothing was really made of this. It was a little predictable but I did enjoy the book. The setup for the next book is in place and I am looking forward to reading it.

I had been looking forward to this next installment of the Sisters of the Heart series but was disappointed. Borrowed from the library, glad I didn't pay for the book.
The pacing was slow and other than the sex scenes (predictable and flat) the story felt repetitive and cobbled together.
This book seemed to serve as a teaser for the final installment, and the possible intro of a new series involving a motorcycle gang of assassins.

In the past, I have considered Christine Feehan one of my "go-to" authors for contemporary romance. Her most recent books have been truly disappointing in their depictions of graphic sexual violence, and Firebound is, sadly, no better. There are several scenes where women are horribly degraded by the antagonists; when I got to the first scene of graphic rape, I stopped reading the book. So disappointing from an author I have enjoyed a great deal in the past.

Excellent storyline. There was a definite underlying plot of betrayal, mystery, suspense, and action along with the romance between Lissa and Casimir. The sex scenes were graphic but not at all frequent compared to her recent books, they were long though. I felt they meshed into the story well and helped to progress the relationship throughout th book. Casimir was demanding at times but not dictatorial and you never got a sense of Lissa being less than equal here.
I really enjoyed this book. Some of Christine Feehan's latest books have contained more sex than plot, admittedly, but this was not at all the case here. The relationship was quick to come to fruition but very believable and very deep. However, the only negative I have is unique language. Some of it did not seem like her. There was a lot of those single word sentences (Not. At. All) throughout and they swore more than they usually do in her books. From the preview at the end it seems that will carry forward into her new series. Altogether an enjoyable read for me and really told Lissa's story in detail. Definitely recommend

I found the book readable and I enjoyed it to some degree and that maybe because I interested in the Prakenski brothers and how each story will pan out. I don't have a problem with sex scenes in a storyline; but I don't see the point of making the sex scenes take over the storyline of the entire book which is what Feehan appeared to have done with this book. Out of all of the Sisters of the Heart series, This was my least favorite. I hope she does better with the last book in the series,

Fire Bound by Christine Feehan is the 5th book in her Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart series. I always loved Sea Haven and the Drake Sisters. Now Sisters of the Heart has inched up to be my favorite current series for Christine.
Lissa Piner is our heroine in Fire Bound. We learned in the last book, that Lissa is very protective of her other 5 sisters, something Gavril noticed that resembled the way he and his brothers acted. Lissa is heading to Europe to sell glass designs that she creates. She tells her sisters that if all goes well, she will bring some good money to help on the farm. But Lissa, has been hiding in America with her sisters, to protect her identity, as she secretly has been trained by her uncle to be an assassin. Lissa’s parents were murdered years before, and her uncle took care of her, until he wanted her to be safe and sent her to the States. Now Lissa’s real reason for going to Italy is to kill two people who betrayed their family.
Casmir Prakenskii has been called by Gavril to Sea Haven and told to follow Lissa to protect her. It doesn’t take long for Lissa to realize that the man who has just started working as a guard for her uncle, is a Prakenskii. Her 4 sisters have all married Parkenskii’s and Lissa knows this man is for her, but she is determined to keep him at a distance, since she has a job to do and she wants no relationships. Of course, it doesn’t take long for Casmir to win and seduce Lissa. The chemistry and sex between was scorching, and they made a great couple together, as lovers and as fighters. Casmir will protect Lissa with his life, but recognizes she is a kindred spirit who has also suffered heart wrenching childhoods. He cannot stop LIssa from doing what she must do to get her revenge against those who betrayed her and her family, so he joins with her. Casmir does have a lot more experience, and he will be the one who will suspect that there are more betrayals that Lissa will have to face.
Rather than tell too much more, I will say this was a wonderful exciting thriller, where both Lissa and Casmir life will be in danger many times, with the revelations revealed breaking her heart even more. As I said the relationship between them was wonderful, as Casmir found his mate, something he never thought he would ever find, and he treated Lissa with so much love. I have complained in Christine’s other books about her overdoing all the sex scenes and the abusive men. In Fire Bound, the sexual scenes were a lot, especially in the second half, but Casmir was so caring and loving, and I fell in love with both of them as a couple. Most important, the story led the way, and was wonderful, keeping us on the edge praying for their survival. Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart remains a series by Christine Feehan that I enjoy thoroughly, unfortunately I worry that the next book will be the last, as it is now Blythe’s turn as the 6th and final sister.

I only got this as I was so invested with the sisters of the heart. Well, what a disappointment it is. An almost non existent story and just page after page of sex. The special abilities are not used and really have nothing to do with this unrelenting litany of ridiculous sex. I have been so disallutioned by her last several books. I no longer buy the Carpathian series at all. Abuse is abuse, and no means no. I don't understand why she has to spew this ridiculous insulting trash. This should not be listed paranormal as it is just a triple X rated waste of time. CF nay have enjoyed writing this waste of time but I didn't enjoy reading it. Only good for the trash.

WOW! Just like with the Drake sister's Hidden Current, Christine wrote a book that didn't appeal to a wide audience. I didn't expect to like this book based on the reviews, but I am glad I didn't let it stop me from reading it. I expected Lissa's book to be an almost stand alone because of who she was. She had life separate from her sister and she took care of her business. I like how she and Casimir supported each other; they both knew when to let the other lead and when to pick the other up. She was a true Assassin and her kills were spot on. The ending was totally unexpected and BLEW me away too. I had to read it three times.

The story had the makings of being a good story but you had to read through pages and pages of filth to get to the plot. We finally find out Lissa's secrets, including her true identity. We also meet the last 2 of the Prakenskii brothers. Casimir is the one called in by Gavriil to guard Lissa on her travels through Europe. And, since he is a fire element like Lissa, their bonding seems inevitable. I enjoyed reading this, never knowing what surprises awaited on each page.

This book was better and more like her writing of years gone by. Love and hot sex backed with action. Only thing that bothered me is how she thinks a person with "deep cuts" on neck and hands would be ready to get intimate within hours without any worry about the injuries...Hmmm does not make sense to me. I put it down to poetic license and kept reading, but I could wish for just a little kindness on the part of her lover over the injuries.

The problem with this book and several of the others in this and other series is the issue of consent. Lissa very clearly says "No" "I can't. I wont" and Casimir's response is to complete ignore her and respond with " You can and You will." Even though she supposedly enjoys the experience I have a huge issue with the start of their relationship. And having Casimir put it off as just being "dominate" is not an excuse. Left a bad taste so I did not finish reading it.

I was very disappointed in this latest Sea Haven novel. There was way too much sex and way too little story. I read the large print version and one sex scene went on for 40 pages. Honestly, it was so ridiculously long, I went back and counted. I enjoy a well written love scene that enhances a story and shows the closeness between two people, but searching for the story/plot among all the (often inappropriate or unbelievable) instances of sex or thoughts of sex in this book was frustrating. This book falls far short of earlier parts of the series.

I love the Sisters of the Heart series; however, they (like the others) are becoming low on substance and high on trashy sex scenes. Fire Bound is book 5 in the Sea Haven Series by the wonderful and talented author, Christine Feehan. I have read many books from this author and she never fails to deliver.
Lissa Piner has a secret. A secret that she has not shared with anyone else. As a talented glass blower who is quickly becoming well known, it’s her trip to Italy that really makes her smile. To everyone else she is there to make a masterpiece, but to Lissa she is there to finally avenge a terrible circumstance and get revenge from those who took her family from her.
Casmir Prakenskii is a trained assassin living off the grid. He has been asked to escort Lissa and protect her but what he sees when he looks at her is his other half. Guess we're not in Kansas anymore because things are about to get scorched!
I loved how the characters were developed to such a point you could feel all their emotions. Casmir and Lissa burn up the pages, and by that I do mean in every sense of the phrase. The sex scenes are long, but extra sexy and make you thirst for a cold drink.
The mysteries that are unfolded, the betrayal, the loyalties and every other little flicker of the heart makes Fire Bound sensational and scorchingly hot. I LOVED it!

I like the twist of the heroine getting in some action, however this book was lackluster with too much repetition of the same facts and sex scenes beefing up this book. In the past I had looked forward to the next installment, but I groaned when there is a possibility she will be writing 18 more books starting with Viktor. Sorry for the spoiler alert if you haven't read this book.

This book was a fast paced and exciting story. Finding out about Lissa Pinner's past was shocking and how she closes that chapter with the help of Casimir Prakenskii, her soul mate will have you sitting on the edge of your chair. Working together to defeat the brothers biggest enemy so they can finally live in peace just tops this story off. This book was quite disappointing, after such a wait. Lot of repetition, the writing not as flowing and without the finesse. It read like a bad imitation or a bad remake. I stopped reading it for a while before skimming through to the end. It just doesn't have the same feel, same voice as the previous Feehan books. Anyway, I can't recommend this book at all.

Disappointing from beginning to end. Everything I like about previous books is missing in this book - like a story line. I found after a while I didn't even like the characters. I read for pleasure and I can't say I got any from reading this story. Dark, disturbing, crossed the line sex. This book goes too far in the worst way possible. It is without good taste or any taste at all. The author takes kinky sex to a place that is disgusting and unreadable I won't be purchasing any additional books from this author going forward. Another hot installment in the Seahaven series. For some reason I like Casimir the best. He’s domineering but still has a deep appreciation for Lissa’s strength and abilities. They meshed well together and the danger and intrigue was perfect for them both. The story kept me on the edge of my seat and the hot hot romance made me melt. The romantic suspense was so riveting that I forgot it was a paranormal romance, and I liked that. Overall it I enjoyed it very much and cannot wait for the next brother to have his turn.

I am not shy reading about sex but this book is as close to porn as it can be without being in this xxx section of a bookstore. The double plot was good not great. The bad guys were caricatures of the villain twirling his moustache. Everything was over the top.
Raw explicit sex every other page.

If you liked Fifty Shades of Grey, you will love this book. She has really gone to the dogs with this one. Nothing but sex in it. Refuse to spend my money anymore on her writing. I usually buy all of her books, but she is really hitting the bottom with this series.

I have been reading all the series except the dark/Carpathian series and have been a real fan, but recently Christian's writing has changed for me and seem to be more of bondage of something that I think the Shades of Gray books are like....seems to be repetitious and too over the top with the man protection/domination

I was surprised by this one, in that both leads were trained assassins...but it worked really well for this story. It was more than nice to have two very strong leads. Of course they had flaws (especially Casimir), and of course Casimir was steamy in appearance and actions. And, of course, good (or lesser bad) triumphed over evil.
The sole unattached brother, Viktor, was introduced who will finish out the Sisters of the Heart series (sob!), but his story will introduce the new series spinoff. I just love it when my favorite authors make spin off series from my favorite series.

I agree that there is still to much sex and her new gimmick of using.a.period.to.break.up.words.is.very.annoying! She did it in Dark Promise and Spider Game, here she's actually worse, making two or three word sentences. In the preview available for her Shadow series she does it again. Please Ms. Feehan STOP

This is an embarrassment to the author ; it's mostly porn and the finale story is beyond ridiculous; the tunnel blows up, the "heroine" is ok and the villain is killed. really?.
last one I try from Feehan. I can't image how anyone liked this book.

I love this series and waited with bated breath, but not only was there excessive sex scenes but can you please justify why I paid more for the kindle version than the paperback version???? Although I can't wait to finish off this series I will be thinking twice about paying for it, might have to get an updated library card

This is a 5 stars read for me. Loved Casimir and Lissa together. Full of surprises I wasn't expecting and wonderful getting to finally meet Viktor the last Prakinskii brother. Bound Together is going to be a great read and tying up a lot of loose ends from the Drake Sisters series as well. The sex scenes are hot and numerous but done where you felt the love and healing on both sides. Loved it..

This was a good addition to Christine Feehan's Sisters of the Heart . I only wish she added an epilogue so we could see how Casimir and Lissa integrated back into the farm. But, perhaps, that's being held for Blythe's book.

TOO MUCH SEX. OVER 50 PAGES OF IT. If I wanted a sex novel I would have purchased porn. I do not know where Ms. Feehan or her ghost writer are going with this new trend of writing but it sucks. I wish she would go back to her original and true style of writing where you can actually become one with the story and live it as you read it. DISSAPPOINTED.

Wonderful, the plot was believable and was carried out with flair. The characters were very likeable or despicable enough to make each page a can't miss. Too much graphic sex but just skip through it after the first time they are all alike. Worth a read!!!

Christine Feehan is one of my favorite authors and Sea Haven one of my favorite series! This book does not disappoint with its roller coaster of emotions, adventure and passion. I was only left with wanting more at the conclusion of
story. Not wishing to spoil it for anyone, let me just say it left the door open for any number of things to happen and that made me want a more conclusive end. How long must we wait for the next in the series? Please make it sooner rather than later!!!

saying, "There's no one else for me?" It was just hard to keep up/get in the rhythm of the book, in the beginning. It got better as I continued to read. I'm just not use to this from Feehan's styles of writing. It makes you question weather this is her work?
