From beginning to end, this book was great, exciting as we say in Dutch " spannend " Christine Feehan I thank you again for your ability to live in your books. Getting away from the stress of life is very easy with you...

This book was very good and it was very interesting to read how the brothers interacted with one another. Loved Gavrill and lexi! It reminded me of why I fell in love with the drake sisters series and this series! Christine Feehan has done it again!

Not action packed or even exciting in that "getting the adrenaline going" type of thing. But the was chemistry, tension and a journey of character discovery and development.

It was a sweet story especially after such a traumatic and ugly childhood in the hands of a monster.

But alas, it wasn't that great to compensate for the long wait. This is the last of her series I've still had an interest in.

I've her other series a long while ago. They were getting ridiculous.

I LOVE everything I've ready by Christine Feehan. Some books I buy, read, then resell. I KEEP all of hers and reread them. I like the humor and the depth of the characters - her heroes and heroines have their own problems, just like the rest of us. I just wish she could write as fast as I read!! I get a book of hers and won't put it down until I'm done!!! I want to know what's going to happen and how they're going to deal with a situation! LOVE her books!!

Another story from the Sea Haven series. While I enjoyed this book it wasn't quite as good as the previous books. For some reason I had a hard time really connecting with Gavriil and Lexi. It felt as though there wasn't any of the follow up of actions and interactions that I'm accustomed to reading in the previous Sea Haven stories. I also wanted to hear more about the healing process for Gavrill since the story made so many references to the intense pain he was constantly enduring in the beginning chapters of the book. So good read - just not my fave of the series.

What a disapointment! Seems like Ms. Freethy has gone the way of too many authors lately and feels the need to overanalyze the emotional problem. Unfortunately she does this repeatedly from every direction ad nauseum. I wanted to let her know that I "got it" and she could stop explaining. As a long time fan I had looked forward to this book but found myself skipping pages to get back to the plot. I doubt that I'll buy any more of her work.

I was expecting a bit more, I've found myself skipping more pages out of bored, too repetitive. but I like that the brothers were meeting and reconnecting and Gavrill is prepared to sacrifice himself for his youngest brother and meeting Ilya for the first time who is my fave so far among the brothers. I hope for the next books will more of "juicier actions" that worth reading and not skipping.

I am a great fan of Christine Feehan's novels, and the "Bound" series is fast becoming my favorite series. I like that her characters are complex and flawed, with many problems, yet still manage to connect with each other and through their feelings for each other, manage to discover how to love and how to connect with others. (Okay, I'm a hopeless optimistic romantic.) The first book in the series has a protagonist who is autistic, which I'd never come across in a "romance" novel before, and that portrayal is what initially hooked me on the series. If you like suspense and interesting characters (and a good love story!) I highly recommend this series.

The last 3 Feeham books have disappointed me. To the point that I have decided to stop buying her books. If I wanted to read nothing but pages and pages of sex I would buy porn. She has always had some sex, but she used to have a story line worth reading. Not in her last 3 books. I am done with her books.

Feehan’s Sisters of the Heart series is a spin off her Drake Sisters series. We are introduced to five “sisters” who have settled in Sea Haven; each burdened with a past that has them in need of healing. Earth Bound is the fourth in the series and focuses on the youngest “sister”-Lexi. Though each previous installment in this series has in some way played off and expanded on the events that happened in the last Drake book-Hidden Currents-this one doesn’t as much. The focus here is solely on the hero and heroine and expands on an ongoing arc concerning the Prakenskii brothers. You do not need to read the Drake Sisters series in order to understand this series as each storyline is self-contained with a resolvable conflict but the characters and arc do overlap.

Earth Bound is an action based storyline filled with intrigue, magic, romance and a healthy dose of humor that blends well with the dark aspects of the story. An even steady flow and engaging characters takes me back to why I originally started reading Feehan. Feehan does a fabulous job of introducing us the protagonists and integrating their backstories into the main plot in order to give us a well rounded informative base on which to begin our adventure. Multiple storylines run simultaneously, weaving in and out but never overwhelming the reader.

I have always had love/hate relationship with Feehan’s works. Either her couples are perfect matches or the heroes are so alpha they completely overshadow the heroine and I find myself wanting to slap them silly. Luckily, Earth Bound is of the former. While there is no denying Gavrill is the quintessential over protective alpha, Lexi is more than able to hold her own with him. She has been alone for a long time and her strength, intelligence, gift and quiet stubbornness invokes respect from him and he instinctively understands when to push forward and when to pull back.

While Gavrill and Lexi aren’t similar or complementary in references to their gifts, they are well matched personality wise. They click in both a physical and emotional sense. Lexi is an earth elemental, able to command the earth and plants to her will. Gavrill, like his brothers, was taken as a child and made into an assassin though he is not one to follow anyone blindly. His ability is blending into the shadows-a blade that strikes with no mercy. He has a strong moral base and consequence though he will take out ANYONE (including friends and family) should they come between him and what he wants.

They are the flip sides of a coin. Gavrill is a trained killer while Lexi is a pacifist. The chemistry between them is instantly noticeable, becoming more substantial as they get to know each other better. Lexi’s innate need to nurture and heal grounds Gavrill more volatile nature and allows her to envelope him in her protective embrace. Due to their violent childhoods, the romance is slow to develop. The love scenes are emotionally intense and add plenty of spice to the story. Feehan doesn’t rush into their lovemaking, which makes it all the more tantalizing and sensual when they decide to go that final step.

There are multiple plotlines weave and wind their way through out the main story. I liked that Feehan seems to have put a more human stamp on this installment, addressing mundane issues that only an outsider (Gavrill) would see. Watching Gavrill acquaint himself with his brothers, especially the baby- Ilya- is heartwarming. Feehan does a fabulous job of showing us the duality of Gavrill’s personality. He is so alpha and scary to others yet quite the closet romantic with Lexi.

Things are still up in the air with Ellie Drake and I can’t WAIT to see what happens when she and Jackson return to Sea Haven. Gavrill has thrown down the gauntlet on that situations and it will be interesting to see his and Jackson’s first meeting. Once again Feehan allows us to see the sisters drop their masks of pacifism and the danger these five can wrought when they and their loved ones are threatened and clues are dropped to whose story will come next. Lissa is definitely a conundrum and I have a feeling her hero will have to work extra hard for her. Past faces from both series are seen and I like the effortless flow that exists here. Fans of this series will not be disappointed by Earth Bound and I for one am ready for book five-title and release date to be announced.

RATING: B+

As with Air Bound, Earth Bound is also a darker tale involving the abuse of children for Mrs. Feehan. This book is about Lexi and does contain child molestation/pedophilia. However, if you have been following this series since Ilya you know that she has taken the path of sex trafficking for this series. While there is no extreme sexual description regarding the actual acts, you do get a keen sense of what took place, as well as descriptive scenes explaining the punishments doled out for noncompliance.

Gavriil is the second oldest of the seven Prakenskii brothers. Like his brothers, he is a hired hitman, trained since childhood to commit assassinations. He lives his life in solitude, protecting his youngest brother from afar. Using his real name, Gavriil ventures to Sea Haven with hopes of drawing the attention away from his family—that is until he discovers Lexi in the fields. At this point, our fierce hero knows he will not be going anywhere. His new mission is to protect his soulmate with everything in his arsenal. From the first moment he sets foot on the farm and lays his eyes on Lexi, Gavriil knew without a doubt that she would be his. Every rational thought and action paled in comparison to the uncontrollable need he felt when it came to possessing and branding Lexi with his mark.

Gavriil knew his way around compassion and tenderness. He was a tough mercenary, one who avoided any type of commitment or feels. In order to thoroughly execute carnage he had to be stone cold. The thing his training did not prepare him for was Lexi. Gavriil was so amazing with her. He was patient, loving, and an absolute sweetheart. He had immediately become solely hers, with that came his undivided attention and ultimate protection, whether that was over her emotions or against anyone he perceived as the enemy. Gavriil was truly captivating when it came to his gentleness and perseverance. And while our hero would differ in opinion, that man had one hell of a charismatic personality, including some swoon worthy panting melting scenes. Obviously, like his brothers, Gavriil’s need to control knew no bounds (he wouldn’t be a Prakenskii if he was any other way), and sometimes the intensity of it caused some bold unexpected reactions from Lexi.

I loved Lexi’s personality and spirit. She had an amazing strength about her, even when she perceived herself to be vulnerable and fragile. Lexi lives her life centered on the only means of survival she knows, the farm and her sisters of heart. Lexi feels the most comfort and peace when she is shifting through the sand, or among her crops/flowers. She snagged my heart when she stood up for herself, along with protecting and caring for Gavriil at the same time. Lexi was loving, spirited, and sassy. I thought she handled her initiation to Gavriil inserting himself squarely into her life perfectly. I found her to be extremely brave and courageous. With all the abuse she suffered through, I loved watching her blossom under Gavriil’s soft and assured touch.

I always love when a book highlights characters that have strong family/friend connections. It can make it easier to slip in to them as a couple. Our protagonists were beautifully developed characters, both damaged with heart breaking pasts, and beyond guarded when it came to the opposite sex—until they found each other. Gavriil and Lexi were made for one another, a solace to each other’s souls. I loved that their friendship and love offered them a sanctuary, a place to be themselves without judgment clouding the way. It also offered a place of safekeeping, allowing Gavriil and Lexi a healthy transition towards freedom and healing. Gavriil was the peanut butter to Lexi’s jelly. Together, they were a force to be reckoned with.

Earth Bound (Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart #4) by Christine Feehan

After escaping from a cult, Lexi found refuge with her sisters on the farm that more than sustained her body—it nurtured her soul as well. But she never forgot the terror she left behind or the always present fear that the cult would find her again, and claim her. Then her nightmare came true.
Lexi was discovered and threatened—only to be suddenly saved by a stranger. He is Gavriil Prakenskii, and he’s awestruck by the woman he’s rescued. She is destined for him. He can feel it in his soul. But how can Lexi find happiness with a man steeped in secrets and shadows, one intimately acquainted with violence, and whose very love could be the death of them?

My Review:
I couldn't decide how to rate three or four stars and since there are no half stars I just went with three. The writing and the plot was strong enough but the characters just didn't convince me.
The hardest time I had was with Lexi. I'm not sure if I was taking it too literal or way too seriously but I wasn't convinced of the trauma and emotions she felt (or wasn't feeling) I liked Gavriil despite the fact he was an odd kind of character but maybe that's what Lexi needed in the end? I liked the family unit and getting to see the brothers reunite but when you put it all together something just seemed like it was missing. I think I was expecting a magical or heart source to it but I just wasn't feeling it in Earth Bound. I still liked the story and enjoyed reading it but I do miss the old Christine element to her stories these days.

My Rating:

I read 3 of the 4 books of this series and Air bound and water bound were amazing and by far my favorites.... I couldn't put them down.. Spirit bound was good too. I have no idea how anyone can give this more than 1 star.. it's boring boring boring. How many times can the characters talk to each other about being kidnapped and what they have become? We already know this over and over.. repeating all the dialog.. even if this was read as a stand alone book, it's seems to me there is a lot of wasted time talking and just hanging around the farm.. Where's the action? After the first part of the death of Lexi's so called husband, ( which was so quick, and the reader wasn't ven witness to it) there was no real threats until the end.. and even that was anticlimactic. I kind of agree with one reader.. this was a " hurry and meet the deadline book.. it's not nearly as clever as the others. If Ms Feehan writes one or two more with other sisters, I hope she take some extra time and thought as she is so good at it, to add some action and cliff hanging excitement all the way through.

I do not understand why this book received so many 5-star reviews. The first 40% of the book spanned one day. ONE. DAY. The first 75% of the book spanned three days. (Thank you Kindle for helping me quantify that.) There was no romance; the characters fell into insta-love. There was no suspense; we knew who the bad guys were from pg.1 (or should I say location 100?). The characters were paper thin, and the conversations were repetitive. I was more interested in the dogs. I wish she had written more about them.

Quick & Dirty: Can two broken people find love?

Opening Sentence: “Pain was a strange entity.”

The Review:

I haven’t read any books in this series, this is my first. That being said, it was definitely one that while you may be missing some of the backstory you don’t feel completely lost reading out of order. So for me to fill that backstory, I am going to definitely go back and read the first three books. Lexi is a survivor from a cult; she has joined her sisters on their farm and is in hiding from the cult. Gavriil is an assassin who is on his way to the farm to let his brothers know all of them are on a hit list. That was one of the few things that I want to find out more and I am hoping by reading the first three books that will be explained to me. Why are they on hit list? All of them seemed to have experienced tragic lost and horrible childhoods.

Gavriil was separated from his brothers after their parents were brutally murdered and forced into a brutal assassin program. So at the age of 37 he is a harden killer. Lexi was taken under duress at age 8 and forced to marry cult leader, Caine. She experiences all kinds of sexual, physical and mental abuse before escaping at 17. It was a little unclear how long she had been on the farm and how old she is now, so there is a bit of an age gap between her and Gavriil. They first meet after he saves her life when Caine and a couple of followers attack her outside the farm. They are immediately drawn to each other, especially since in his family some kind of itching on the hand indicates they have found the one! Okay seriously…that happened!

Lexi is earth bound and can make earthquakes and use the ground to swallow people and give her calm. From all the abuse she is isolated and hates being indoors and suffers from panic attacks and paranoia. Gavriil of course is the least likely mate for her, but she senses the pain inside and hopes to help him. I do like that while there was major instant love, the author really took her time with their love story and intimate relations. Gavriil showed major restraint and understanding with Lexi because of the abuse she has endured.

The cult despite Caine’s death is still stalking Lexi, so they do have to deal with them. I really enjoyed the fact that the sisters were the ones who really kicked butt and took names. I did enjoy this book and it wasn’t a struggle to read. I just didn’t quite connect as much as I hoped I would with the main characters. I am not sure if it was me or what, but I did feel the loss, with two broken individuals I really felt this could have been a powerful coming together. That is really the only thing bad I can say about the book, and more likely it’s more a me thing than something that is wrong with the book. It’s also not enough to deter me from reading more in this series.

Notable Scenes:

“She was the one person who never betrayed me.”

“That was it took, and she had his heart in the palm of her hand.”

“Determined to rise like the phoenix from the ashes of her past.”

FTC Advisory: Jove/Penguin provided me with a copy of Earth Bound. No goody bags, sponsorships, “material connections,” or bribes were exchanged for my review.

Earth Bound is book number four in Christine Feehan's Sisters of the Heart Series. I must admit this is probably my least favorite series that she writes. Consequently I never really EXPECT much. I think in a way that is really better because Ms. Feehan has been so hit or miss in the last few years.

I am happy to say, Earth Bound is the best of the series so far. We see character development and growth that has been missing in some of the previous books. There was an instant CONNECTION between the Hero and Heroine which I found charming most of the time.

Lexi has lived the past few years of her life in hiding, literally. As a child she was kidnapped and made a "wife" of a member of a cult. She was used as both a sex toy and a punching bag.But Lexi knew that this was not acceptable and finally escaped, bringing many members of the cult down as she left. After years of quasi freedom (Lexi feared discovery so badly she chained herself to the farm and the life she had there) her past has caught up with her. And once again Lexi fears for her life. Fears that is until Gavriil Prakenskii appears. He thinks he is there to say goodbye... but instead Lexi has found her champion.

Gavriil Prakenskii is the brother the other Prakenskii boys fear. They love him but they know he has suffered more, he has struggled harder and he has nothing left to live for. He has come to Sea Haven to say goodbye to his brothers, Warn Ilya of a threat against his life and lead the enemy away.. Only things never turn out as we plan. Gavriil found love and a reason to live.

As I said, I think this was the best of the series so far.. Ms. Feehan seems to be offering us a SLOW build up in this series and allowing us to fall in love with the characters for who they are not what we expect of her. Which in this instance is a good thing.

I am enjoying watching the Prakenskiis fall one by one and I like the fact that the sisters have seen the connection. I also enjoyed the tie in with the Sea Haven community, seeing both Jonas and Ilya have parts to play was perfect. But I believe it's time for Jackson to make an appearance.

One of the negatives I found is the fact that once again Ms. Feehan is making this hero bigger and better or badder in this case than all the rest. She has a history of this and sometimes it just seems over the top. It worked for Gavrill but will the next Prakenskii to fall be even scarier? More wounded? Bigger scars?? For now, I am enjoying Gavriil.

I love this series… all of the Sea Haven books, including the Drake Sisters.

If you’re not reading “Earth Bound,” you should. It’s a great tale of light overcoming dark, two “broken” people coming together in an incredible fashion to find love, security, redemption, peace, home.

These “Sisters of the Heart” are something special and the Prakenskii brothers that are their other halves are even more.

In the previous books, I took a liking to Lexi, but in this one, she comes into her own. While the other "sisters” on the farm have small places in this book, unlike some of the others, this one is at least 2/3 all Gavriil and Lexi. Can’s say enough about how they complement each other, fill the empty spaces and give the other a reason to live, to breath, to be.

Gavrill enters this book ready to put himself out there, literally sacrifice himself, to give his brothers more time, to draw the evil Russian politico who’s now put out a hit on ALL the Prakenskii brothers away from the others as long as possible. But, one look at Lexi and he has to bond with her; he marks her palm in the way Prakenskiis do their women, the proceeds to woo her, discovers and proves to her that he can love her and that she not only is worth love, that she is beautiful inside and out, the perfect mate to his darkness, to pull him out of the shadow life. Just don’t expect him to quit killing, especially if it’s someone threatening him or his new “family” on the farm, or his brothers.

Not even the crazy pedophiles from the cult who literally kidnapped her from her bedroom when she was eight showing up can prevent the attraction, the growing bond between Gavriil and Lexi. And Gavriil gives her the space, trust and time she needs to find herself, to become the woman she was meant to be, his woman.

This also gave an interesting look at Lucia and how she’s managing her life, now that Gavriil’s brother Max and Lexi’s “sister” Airiana have adopted them. She’s a young girl, grieving her parents’ murder, the horrendous things done to her and her siblings, her sister’s death, life on the “farm. She senses a kindred spirit in Lexi, and Lexi steps out of herself to help the shy girl.

You also get a little bit more of a look into Lexi’s other sister Lissa. I’m ready for more on her.

Lexi has a tragic back story that she hasn't really shared with her "sisters". Gavriil is a Prakenskii and just like his brothers he was trained as an assassin from a very early age. He has come to visit his brothers and tell them about the threat that is on his and his brothers head. Lexi and Gavriil meet when someone from her past finds her and tries to take her. Gavriil rescues her and when they get back to her house his brothers show up knowing he is the darkest of all of them they protest when Lexi offers for him to stay. They see her as a fragile and hurt young woman, but Lexi is having none of that !!! She can see that Gavriil is in a lot of pain and just as broken as she is. There is an unexplainable pull when she looks at him. He makes her feel safe and at peace. Can they make a relationship work ? Will Gavriil keep the cult out of her life forever ? Buy it, read it, you won't regret it !! I absolutely love this series !!

it felt like a blatant rip off of the drake sisters and game series combined.. elemental women with military style men. i started getting into the series then all the blatant similarities and overdone sex scenes just ruined it for me and made me regret all the money i spent on the series. I hate when I lose at minimum a third of the book to sex scenes, I do not care to read 12 plus pages in a row of detailed sex over and over. I started reading an author that does clean historical western romance (no blatant sex scenes) and you can see her writing style grow with each book in both of her series. She puts out a book a month without losing anything but Christine puts out one per series per year if we are lucky and her writing has gone massively downhill. One of her books in this series was missing 34 pages!!! mM print copy had 34 blank pages in the middle, I wrote to her, messaged her on social media and emailed her publisher but no response. I will not be buying anymore unless it's the game series and even they are suffering.

You generally cannot go wrong with anything Christine Feehan has written. This is true with this book. She has a winning list of characters. Sisters of the Heart is a group of females that have developed a sisterly bond due to similar backgrounds. Many of these women have found their life partners in a group of brothers, who all have a dark background. Together they learn to build a safehaven for their new family. This story centers around the oldest and most dangerous brother, Gavriil. Gavriil allowed himself to be used as a deadly assassin to ensure the relative safety of his brothers. He came to Safe Haven to see his brothers one last time before he embarked on a mission that would ensure their continued safety but one he did not plan walking away from. Meeting Lexi changes that intention, now he has to keep his brothers safe but he no longer is willing to sacrifice himself. This was a good story with lots of action and humor.

I had not read any earlier books in this series and found this rather too dark for me, but other readers may enjoy it more.

In this tale a young woman has swapped one Californian cult for another and the vengeful supposed 'husband' she left has come to find her. By now she lives in a more benevolent commune with a family, originally Russian, composed of brothers and their wives and kids and some friends. Some of these people have paranormal abilities connected with the Four Elements.

You might not want to bring your kids up here where they can pick up weapons and where the school authorities don't seem to visit. It's a modern fantasy tale so maybe we shouldn't look too closely at the mechanics. Anyway, if you've been following the series no doubt you'll enjoy this adult romance. The brooding atmosphere is well created and I would like to read more about the couple who use the water element.

I've read all the other books in this and the Drake Sisters series. This was almost a 5 star read, but it's not nearly as in-depth or brutal as the previous books. It actually feels like Earth Bound is part 1 of the story. It addresses the trauma that brought Lexi to the support group where the "sisters" met, but it doesn't address the people who are surely hunting Gavriil and his brothers. In the previous books I feel like we read much more about the ongoing hunt for the brothers.

I hold Ms. Feehan to a much higher standard, which is the only reason why I'm bellyaching about wanting more story. Regardless of what it might feel like the story is missing, what is here is so well-written and far and above what many authors can create, you'd be crazy not to buy this one.

Christine Feehan doesn't know how to write a bad book. All of her characters are multi dimensional, flawed and just perfect. I get so involved with them, that I have a hard time putting the book down. Earth Bound is no different. With each of these books we get an indepth look at how the heroines came to be and how far they have come. And we get to witness their growth. And like all of her books leave you wanting more. You find yourself wanting their lives to go on and continue.

The youngest of the women living on the farm has a strong connection with the soil. Her plants always grow no matter what the climate. Now when Garvill comes to say goodbye to his brothers, he finds a woman who sees beneath his mask.

Lexi and Garvill are more alike then they think. Each has been forced to do things that they didn't want to do in an effort to protect others. Together, they are stronger than alone. I loved that they were able to open up to each other and that while they still saw their own flaws clearly, they couldn't see the other person's flaws. They only saw the best in each other.

I enjoyed coming back to the Sisters of the Heart series and learning more about the characters, those I've come to love and ones new to me. I am anxious to see where Ms. Feehan will go next and can't wait for the next story.

I have always enjoyed the "Sisters of the Heart" series but this one was not my favorite. The main male character was portrayed as a monster, a death machine, who was a living terror, with no emotions or feeling for others. He was even distant to his brothers. It got very old reading about how terrible he was, in his opinion. Way too much emphasis was spend on the emotional, love scenes and not nearly enough on the action. I did a lot of fast forward reading to try to get to the good parts. Feehan's books have gotten very predictable and somewhat redundant from previous books. Pretty much all the same. So sad as I have read most every book and always enjoyed them. This was probably my last book of hers that I buy.

Gavrel is at the edge of a corn field watching the woman. As she walks through it seems that the corn leans towards her. She checks the corn to see how it is coming along. Gavrel stays very still so that he doesn't let her know that he is watching. She goes to her vehicle and drives to the other end of the field and gets out. She looks at the land next to her property with long. She places her hands in the dirt thinking that the land is just right for crops. Suddenly a hand grabs her pony tail and yanks her up. Her eyes go wide with for. The man standing in front of her was the one she wad hiding from. She let name come in a whisper "Cole".
From here I will stop for I don't want to give the book away. I really enjoyed reading this book. I can't wait to read more of Christine's book. This book made me really like how she writes. She puts so much emotion into this book. I couldn't put it down. I hope that everyone enjoys this book as much as I did.

After the huge disappointment in Viper Game, I was hesitant about purchasing Earth Bound. I thought it was much better, however, I don't think it measures up to the original Sea Haven novels. That being said, I was glad to see some interaction with the brothers, even though they really do not know each other they know of one another, too bad she did not explore that. I was glad that Ilya made an appearance, though. I liked Lexi and Gavriil, but the we are broken over and over again was enough, if it wasn't so repetitive and we learned more about them it would have been a lot better. Again the action that she used to write was lacking. I will most likely finish this series.

Gavriil Prakenskii has arrived in SeaHaven to warn his brothers, specifically Ilya, of the Russian Presidential hopeful kill list. When he stepped onto the farms where the Sisters of the heart lived, he knew he was in a place of power. Not only that his palm started itching. To a Prakenskii that means only one thing, soul mate. The action takes off shortly after Gavriil sees Lexi. From foiled abductions to Russian hit men to cult leaders and enforcers this book does not stop supplying the action frenzy. It also lets us see a warm side Gavriil as he helps Lexie overcome her roadblocks to normalcy.
I recommend the book to all.
