The Never Girls Collection #1 (Disney - The Never Girls)

Very cute book series. My 6 year old daughter really likes them. They are a bit advances for her to read yet but they keep her attention when I read them to her. Looking forward to more fairy adventures.

My daughter prefer athletics and art to reading, so finding something she likes isn't easy. She wasn't big into the magic treehouse books and the goosebumps books left over from her older brother. She seemed to like Ivy and Bean, but we wanted to give her some new options. I can't remember if I saw this and thought of her or if she asked for it. How it came to out attention is basically blurred out in comparison to how she reacted when she found out she was getting it and when it arrive. She started reading immediately. She seems to really like it. She's still not a "book nerd" like her brother who reads a new massive book each day, but she's READING and that's what matters to me. For some, a love of reading doesn't come easy, but once it does--look out.
