The book was nice and informative but also sad. Basically, men are pigs and commitment phoebic, there is nonsuch thing as soul mates and fairy tails, and that in order to be happy, you basically have to think like a man and be manipulative. Well, now I don't want a freaking man.

This Counselor is amazing. I'm newly divorced and was married for 20 years. I have no clue what to do anymore when it comes to identifying redflags in a relationship and avoiding people who are narcissists or time wasters. His books and free counseling through emails have helped me avoid these types of people and saved me a lot of heartaches. Thank you so much Brian. Ellen

He repeats similar themes throughout the book which basically boil down to value yourself and you'll never have to settle. The repetition is good though especially if you've just got out of a bad relationship and completely forgot who you are.

This sounds like my ex boyfriend exactly. I always suspected he was playing games and had no real plans for our future and was right when he ended things with me recently. I should have listened to my gut instinct and it would have saved me many years and emotions invested in this guy. Glad I stumbled across this book so I don't make the same mistake again.

Amazing read and he provides some real information. He doesn't sugar coat it but it is important. I follow his podcasts and would recommend this for anyone who is struggling or has wondered about their own relationships.

Everything in this book resonates truth.
I am 55 and kicking myself!
On the bright side, this has unexpectedly given me the closure I was looking for on all my past failed relationships. Every girl/woman aged 13 and older needs to read this book!
