my initial reaction to this book was pretty negative-not because of the author's explanations as to why women test. (I thought those were pretty accurate) but because of the advice about how to respond to these tests. I guess I'm changing my review because I don't know how these tests should be handled and maybe he does. My ex used to always give in to me, would do anything to please me, and I thought I loved that about him but...he's an ex. Maybe these methods are better? Anyway the "why" behind female testing is explained very thoroughly and accurately. I also appreciate the sentiment that it's not our fault (entirely). it's really hard to know when you're testing a guy. It's true for me that I don't usually know I'm doing it til the conversations over.

If you're looking to build healthy and productive long term relationships, this might not be the best guide. Full of primitive psychology and male-female manipulative techniques, which might tend to build relationships that lack substance might lead to a measure of emotional abuse - from both or either partners.

My search for answer is finally over. I read all these other books before this one: "Five Love Languages," "Discovering the Mind of a Woman", "No More Mr. Nice Guy," "Men are from Mars Women are from Venus,"... but I kept wanting to read more after all those books, because none of those books really got in to the essence of the problem, and many of them were overly religious. Yea I wasted a lot of time, and I can't understand why those other books that mainly beat around the bush, have so many nice reviews. If you want to really hit the nail in the head, grab this book instead.

After reading Bruce Bryan's book, you will finally understand why women act the way they do -- there is a logical and biological reason for their seemingly "irrational" behavior. Whether you can handle it or not, that depend on your skills, but this book will certainly help you improve in that regard. At the very least, you will finally understand *why* things appear to be out of control. Help yourself and read this before you write her off as "crazy."

And it will revolutionize your life in general. This book teaches you how to just be an assertive man. When applied to your love life you will find you get the attention you always wanted from women. Even more, you learn how to be honest with yourself and get what you want out of life. A true stand up book. Does a great service to both men and women.

Enough of being the weak, passive men that many feminists want us to be. Our society and our women need men who can lead, tell the truth and stand strong. Most of all, we need to be strong for ourselves. To live a more fulfilled life.

I am so thankful for the author for writing this book. I only wish I had read it sooner and I hope every man will read it. I will definitely pass it along to my guy friends.

Really gets into the details of why women ARE NOT MEN.......and Could easily be called
CRAZY ! Women are schooled and trained by other women to be gamers......they talk hours about how to trap men.

After a life time of observing and listening to women....Freud was right.....they (women) are crazy........and truth be known.......there's not one worthy of an average decent guy.

BUT.......men have no one else to share their lives with.....so men are trapped like fish in a barrel for predacious women. Few are the women who can keep their fangs under control.

Women, underneath their softness, are vicious and every man should know that is at the heart of truth.

This is the second book by Bruce Bryans that makes complete sense. He believes that women can't be in love with a man they can't respect. And as we all know men want respect above all else.

This book teaches men to be men of integrity who set boundaries and don't put up with negative behavior from women. Bruce Bryans shows how men can be evolved, strong masculine men who exude confidence and assertiveness.

This book is good for women to read so they understand what they've been doing all along. It was only recently that I realized I was testing all the men in my life. Now I understand why. Women who read this book will uncover their unconscious desires.

The reason I think this author writes so many good books is because he doesn't have cable apparently and doesn't sit around mindlessly watching TV. Instead he has figured out the dynamics of the male/female relationship.

As a man you can't go wrong reading this book. It has excellent advice. What I appreciate most about this book is the author's advice for men to be more humorous. A man who is witty and funny is less likely to have to deal with an angry woman. A little laughter here and there counts big time.

I borrowed this book from the Kindle Unlimited program.

Not what I was expecting - felt like it was written for Fred Flintstone. I gave it two stars because woman do like an assertive man that knows what they want and are decisive about it. We generally do not like the needy guys who have no sense or pride in self. This book does state that, but it seems to me to be written to guys on how to impress a woman who doesn't have a good sense of herself, who isn't decisive herself, and who is looking for a strong, decisive man to take that burden from her. Sure there are woman out there that are like that, but this isn't the book if you are looking for a woman that also knows what she's about and doesn't want you to get it for her. I am also reading Models by Mark Manson and it is much more real, authentic, and will actually work in impressing the type of woman that will walk beside you, not in front of or behind you.

Fascinating. I actually think it should be a pre-marital must read for both men and women. I have to compliment Bryans. Just as I reached the edge of thinking "whoa this is sexist," he clarified his thinking so that I became less defensive about what he was saying. I even told my husband about the book and what I learned reading it.

I have personally went through instances stated in the book not a long time ago. However, there clearly is a lack of proofreading throughout the book as well. At certain points you'd be looking at perfect English, only to stumble upon clearly careless typos done by whoever was typing this book out. Other than that, very helpful information. I suggest reading the book more than 10 times to get a grasp on the knowledge because this is something one should know 'in the moment'. When you're presented with your 'test', you won't have time to 'think'.

Simply written and easy to digest. This is the 2nd book by Bruce Bryan's that I have purchased in the past few weeks. I found myself talking out loud and even welling up once in a while as I recognized patterns, behaviors, situations and mistakes in my life. Definitely going to re-read and take notes as I begin to apply the suggestions made. Thank you Bruce. Tomorrows coffee is once again on me.

Really wish I would have read this book during the rough point in my relationship. We would probably still be together. So many signs I missed and wasn't doing. I wasn't leading and she lost respect for me. I in turn began to resent her. Bruce Bryans keeps its real. Great book

This book is incredible! For years I've been blind to the tests that women give men which I've failed miserably. I have a much more clearer understanding of women and why they do things. This book is already changing my life!

this was the best book ive read on relationships, growth, women and others. core building. my only suggestion to the author was i wished he would included MORE about dealing and avoiding disordered women. i do believe he is accurate, but didn't work with the ill women i insisted on choosing !

Easy and quick reading narrative of what women need from their husband or boyfriend to feel safe and thus love them. The topic of female "testing" is well described and it's necessity for a women"s relationship health is emphasized.
