This book helps answer many of the questions that we may want to ask but aren't sure who to ask or how to ask. It is a fictional book with a Biblical point of view. Engaging and easy to read. Great gift for those who may be wondering or asking questions about how this god thing works.

Great book for people of all ages. Being a Christian and reading a book that would be directed to those that aren't sure of their beliefs in God and Christ. A very easy to read, of the times meeting with Jesus explaining in laymens terms of what His purpose was for living, dying and being resurrected to live again. Not complicated at all. It's short and to the point, through the course of a dinner. I would highly recommend that any and all read this book.

A non-churchy approach to Christianity which answers most of the basic questions in the hearts of men and women wanting clarification of who and what Jesus Christ represents.
An enjoyable fast read.

This marvelous little volume is the perfect conversation starter to use with someone who has questions about the Christian faith. Upon reading it my wife immediately said, "I need ten copies to give to my friends I work with at the Red Cross!" That is the magic of the book. It is simple, on purpose. It raises questions that command deeper answers, but not necessary to be told in the confines of this book.
Some reviewers see it as a sermon in book form. That is silly considering that the book never claims to be a true "novella." It is as the endorser said, "An unapologetic apologetic."
I for one appreciated the clever entry into the questions and the opportunity it will bring in conversations with our family's friends.

I enjoyed the premise and presentation. There are some disputes with what is presented as historical fact. Aside from some minor errors regarding both historical and religious fact, this book is a delight. The audio version was well acted. All in all, worth the time and religious thinking.

I have recommended these books to many people in my life and I continuously lend them out. I believe this author explains, in an everyday casual manner, many salient points of real Christianity for both Christians and non Christians.

I could not imagine what this could possibly offer that would impact me. But as always an enounter with Jesus is beyond anything we could anticipate.
It is very easy to slip into the experiences of the guest and feel his discomfort and confusion. I am so happy that I know where this can take him. Joy awaits!

Was very captivating from the beginning to the end. Love it and read it in 1 night. Followed up by Day with a Perfect Stranger and it was wonderful as well. Both keep you interested in every line of the story.

Very clever and entertaining premise. The author really understands what the Bible message is all about. I could not put the book down until I finished reading the whole darn thing! The other books were not quite as a fun read. But I still passed them on to my friends.

I too grew up going to Sunday School, learning about the Bible. And even now, (I'll be 50 soon), you come across a book that "opens" your eyes.
I needed this book to remind me just how much God loves me and wants to be in my life. I needed this book to remind me that Jesus paid the price for my sins that no amount of good works, going to church, helping the poor could do.
This book took me a few hours (probably less than that) to read from start to finish. I couldn't put it down. It renewed my spirit, strengthened my faith which has been faultering for so long.
It's not about "religion" or "doing good deeds" it's about accepting the "gift" that only God can offer. Thank you to the author, my he continue to be blessed.

I was so looking foward to this book. Thought it would be similar to the"Conversations With God" series, which I absolutely Loved!!! But not even close! And... the Jesus I'd like to have dinner with... would not be dissing other religions.

This book gives the reader such overwhelming confidence on the existence of Jesus Christ. The love he has for us and how much we need him. After reading this book, I've starting going to church again. I'm recommending it to all the people I care about.

I absolutely love the premise of this book, it is a great way to introduce the topic of God with friends and family. I have bought many copies of this book and have given it to family and friends and everyone has been blessed by this book!

Although I'm a strong believer and born-again Christian, I'm not much of an evangelist. To me this book is a wonderful tool for the evangelism-impaired like me to give to family and friends to show them Jesus and why my faith means everything to me. Thank you David Gregory, this little book is inspired.

Excellent read! Interesting, well written, very applicable to today's world, and even humorous! The dialog is terrific and, I believe, very consistent with Bible teachings. We can all learn from this clever little book!
