A fun follow-up to Uncaged though you definitely need to read it first - I know it is a young adult novel but I'll read anything John Sanford writes and I look forward to the follow-up.

Sanford hasn't sold his credibility for the sake of writing volumes with alternative author - he commonness my respect and loyalty.

Can't wait to read and can't wait for Saturn Run - though I also look forward to another f##king Flowers.

If you liked his Kidd series you should enjoy this series. It's easy to read relatively quick. The dynamic characters were well thought out. Without spoiling anything I really like the tech that is in this series. Makes me think of some of the medical devices coming out today but well ahead of what we have currently. Now you will have to read both books to see what I mean by that. Kudos John I'm really enjoying this series so far.

This is the second book on Singular Menace. Don't waste your time on it. I sure won't bother with the third book. John Sandford what has happened to your great writing? The Singular Menace story is slow and to predictable, I found myself skipping pages just to get through. I still like John Sandford ' s other books.
Winter Prey (A Prey Novel) :: Storm Prey (A Prey Novel) :: The Hanged Man's Song (Kidd Book 4) :: Dark of the Moon (A Virgil Flowers Novel) :: Bad Blood (A Virgil Flowers Novel)

A very different John Sandford novel. I found the first 20 or so pages confusing and not what I expected. Overall I found it a bit heavy on computer matters. However, it is fast paced and interesting and he makes the implausible plausible.

I so love the series beginning with "Uncaged". What can one say about John Sandford he is a brilliant writer and I also love his Prey Series. Michele Cook is a very lucky writer to co-write a series with John. They both did an excellent job and I love all the characters and story line! Seriously waiting for "Rampage"!

Book #2 of the series - enjoyed it more than book #1 because it flowed better. The only major negative is that book #3 will not come out until Oct. 2015 -- a long time to wait to finish reading the series.

Wow! Sanford fans, if you haven't found his work with Michele Cook yet you have missed something new. Cook and Sandford are building a series as gripping as "Prey" or "Kidd". Great suspension of disbelief, pacing, dialog and personalities.

Several readers expressed disappoint in this series, comparing it to the Prey books. Very different story lines make comparisons a waste of time.
This is a science fiction series. The characters are well defined and the action is nonstop. I thoroughly enjoyed both books. Looking forward to the next publication.

Each book ending leaves you hanging. Unfortunately, the next installment takes quite a while
to publish and you have to go back and familiarize yourself with the characters again. For anyone not having read the series, try to read them together.

I enjoy this series very much! The characters are all very likeable and you care about what happens to them. In any action book of this type, you must suspend a certain amount of believability. When our heroes get away time and again, I'm cheering for them! These kids and the adults who help them are standing up for their beliefs and trying to make a difference. And because they are really smart, they are getting away with it! My only complaint is having to wait until next year to find out what happens to all of them.

Cook has helped Sandford reach a new level. The topics have a good bit more substance than the Davenport series, though I remain partial to Flowers. The plots move just as quickly. Be interesting to see where this goes next. I also like the Orwellian flavor of this series.
