Anaconda (Irresistible Bachelors Book 1)

I loved the characters and the story. "Refreshing" is a word that sums up my overall reaction. I really like this author. The book is very well written and edited. This was a free read with Kindle unlimited but I'm going to purchase the book anyway!

Lauren Landish did a great job on this book. The story is well written. I enjoyed this book. It's flirty, fun, sexy and sweet. Loved Gavin and Bri. They are perfect together. Their chemistry is off the charts. This is a great story. I recommend it. Thank you, Lauren Landish. Great work :)

I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC of Anaconda. I love Lauren Landish's books.They are well-written with interesting characters. Gavin is a pro-athete dabbling in acting, whose unfortunate nickname comes from an incident in his past. Bri is working her way through the final year of college and her bestie is the always quick-witted Mindy. Lauren's stories always end with an HEA and have no cliffhanger.

WOW! Is there anything that Lauren Landish CAN'T write? Anaconda was such a departure from her usual dark erotic stories that I was hesitant to read it, but OMG it was one of my top 5 reads of the year! Gavin "Anaconda" is now my favorite book boyfriend, well at least until Ms. Landish writes her next book!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and sexy. Poor Gavin is only seen as a piece of meat, cuz of what he's packing....until he meets Bri. She's so sweet that you can't help but fall for her. They're definitely great together.

Not the typical poor girl meets rich man, falls for him they have happily ever after. Brianna is shy, she likes what she saw when she accidently walks in on the Anaconda. But he sees her and wants her but she's not the typical woman he can wine, dine and be with for the night never to see her again. With his help, she learns to trust in herself. Love the part where she tells Mr. V off at the end!

I liked the story a lot. The whole rich playboy and down and out hotel worker was fun to read. And some of my favorite parts where her best friend who was and funny as hell. If you like the Cinderella type of romance this a good one.

Anaconda was a great sports romance. Not much of sports in the book besides the main character Gavin "Anaconda" Adams, a running back. The plot was great, loved Brianna and Mindy her bestie. This was was a fun, humorous read! Another great book by Lauren Landish!

I received this book as an ARC for a fair and honest review. I loved it! Gavin and Bri's story was funny, sexy and just what the doctor ordered. Didn't expect Gavin to be so sweet at first, but I loved his character. This was a great little love story.

Bri and Gavin are opposites and opposites attract right! Gavin is a small town guy who went pro. He got his nickname while doing an interview where he accidentally dropped his towel. Bri is working her way through college as a maid. She walks in on him drying off where she finds out that the reason for his nickname and how accurate it is

Lauren Landish is a very talented author and I have read many of her books. I loved the quips in this fun, sexy, naughty book. This book was told in the dual POV. I was voluntarily provided with an advance reader copy of this book.

This was my first Lauren Landish book and it won't be my last! On to the next and then the next! This book gave me the feel good pangs I get when there is great emotion in the writing. I could feel for these characters and that's what I find great in a book and it will bring me back to the author every time! I highly recommend this book!

I am just glad that I did not pay for this book and got it free on KU because I skipped over most of it. I try to never leave bad reviews because everyone’s likes are different about books but I just could not get into this. I’m sorry to say I did not finish reading it.

First time reading this book hot as hell loved Gavin and Bri very good couple already read Mr. Fake Fiance and your'll read about Mindy and her new guy.. Great read looking forward to read more from this Author!

I chose this rating because this was a really great book. The characters were very interesting. Brianna was kind of shy at first, but she got over it quick. Gavin, poor Gavin I kind of felt sorry for him with the name that they called him. Anyway I'm glad they work things out and got together. Great read, I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Well it was a great story totally different from any story I ever read before it was funny as t tin r and at times it was sad I did like the ending I really like it and the d tory were nice to all the story were good

I enjoyed most of the characters, especially Mindy, the BFF. I actually didn't care for the h, she tended towards the immature side with all her jumping to conclusions, running away, and refusal to deal with issues like an adult.
Pretty steamy love scenes, but there was a sweet side to the romance that offset that.

This was a pretty good read for me. Brianna and Gavin had good chemistry, and the writing flowed well for me. Brianna got on my nerves at a couple of points. She went nuts over things that weren't even close to being a big deal. Other than that, I liked the story, and the HEA.

Noooooooo! It ended too soon!! Such an entertaining, side splitting, sexy, fun read! Perhaps we could get an extended epilogue/novella "Baby Anaconda" ? BUY THIS NOW you "humpty dumpty a** son of a...."

The story was well written but it felt predictable. I felt like I was reading a Hallmark Original movie with extra content of the dirty kind. With that said I was engaged in the story the entire time and read the story in a day.

Very Cinderella like story & adorable. NFL football player turned actor & struggling college student working as a hotel maid. Lot's of hot sex scenes. Read it non-stop, absolutely loved it. Definitely purchase this book.

Brianna is a sweet small town girl and Gavin is a football hero/movie star. So when Gavin comes to town to film a movie and they meet, they really aren't sure what to do with each other. Cute book, fun read!

Another hot and sexy read! Mindy kind of stole the show with her outrageously funny commentary! I really hope she gets her own book. That being said reading about the main characters, Brianna and Gavin, were like moths to a flame. The story sucks you in and makes it hard to put down.

I only read andaconda those others I really didn't want to read. It was okay. I felt there was more sexy scenes than anything. They really didn't date much and how the first met was a bit strange. I also felt the ending was rushed. I wish it was better because I had high hope for it but it just fell flat.

Gavin is not what you first think he will be, a cocky, sexy football star. Well, is those things, but more. And Brianna is the sweet girl he needs to turn his life around. This book also tackles a subject which isn't talked about much. Men being objectified. I did feel sorry for Gavin in some ways. A really good read!!

After all of the reviews, I expected so much more. There was no true chemistry between the characters. It just seemed rehearsed and overdone. Yet, I really liked the character, Mindy, she was funny. The next book is her, so I will give this author another shot.

Loved, Loved, Loved Anaconda. Comeon what is better than reading about a man with a huge d**k. Anaconda is HOT HOT HOT. You will not regret reading this fast paced love story from Lauren Landish. Go grab it.

Gavin could almost be a stereotype but he has such heartwarming humanity. How terrible (snicker) to be known as a body part. Brianna responds that way at first but as their relationship develops she sees him as who he is. It's a clever, sexy story and well worth the read.

This book is brilliant, it really kicks off the whole series (which you won't stop reading until book 4) Lauren is talented to make the book hilariously funny but still keep the story going. I deff recommend. Who wouldn't want an Anaconda Adams ?

I received this book for an honest review . I believed that this book was very heart felt there is no way you couldn't fall in love with Gavin the misunderstood football player . Brianna works in housekeeping at the motel Gavin is staying at . I would most define read this heart felt book again

This was such a fun and entertaining read. Gavin is just a misunderstood guy with a sweet side. Brianna is so down to earth. They had a great connection. It's nice have a fun sexy read more in between all the dark intense reads. Loved it. Can't really go wrong with a book by Lauren Landish.

I thought this was a cute story, and liked the HEA. The only thing that kept it from being a 5 star was the storyline was a little slow in areas, and the "misunderstandings" were a little out of proportion. Still a good read that I would recommend, especially for a lazy weekend read.

I went into reading this book with high expectations because of the reviews. I could not get into it. The characters were kind of immature, the dialogue was stilted and forced, and neither protagonists had much personality to recommend them. The whole story until I quit reading was flat. I also have an issue with girls basically giving it away to men they don't really know. She, out if the blue, apologized for her date outfit like it was horrible and his opinion was what mattered and within a very short while asked him to boink her. It was a little degrading as a woman. A no for me.

This bokk was sad, funny and full of romance! I started this book 1 day and finished it the next! I could not put it down!! The characters seem to come to life in this book and you thought of them as your friends! A few twists and turns but all of those were very good. LOVED THIS BOOK!!!

Not as well written as I would like, but has potential. Character building need a bit more back story. Sex scenes were not sexy enough and tell me, who would NOT knock on a closed bathroom door before leaving the morning after anal.

This is a fun read that moves fast.

I thought this was a great story of finding happiness where you least expect it. When Gavin comes to town and meets a Brianna, their attraction is instant. Is it possible that two people with so many differences end up with a HEA? I really enjoyed finding out.

Needed a book to get out of my own head; this one did just fine. Written pretty well, enjoyed the characters, and though some parts were a little juvenile I enjoyed it greatly. 3 1/2 stars - 4 stars. Cute, easy beach read for you this summer.

Great Read it was impossible to put down. I loved the characters and the plot. I am always impressed with Lauren's plot's and characters. I am so happy when she has a new book coming out ,or I find one of her earlier book's to read. And this one Set's the stage for up coming book's. A must read. I recommend it.

I love this story I would have liked a little more drama from his coach and owner towards him and from the movie producers and his image consultant towards her. Overall it was a wonderful book and I'd love to read the others.

There was no character development. The "hero", Gavin, was self absorbed and clueless. Brianna was immature and annoying. It was just so blah, no depth, no plot, immature conflicts and overall just a waste of time. Disappointed. I know that reading is a very subjective thing, things we like might not be liked by others. I'm just looking at 69% of 5 stars ratings and keep scratching my head at what I'm missing here. Oh, well. Onward to the next book.

The plot didn't sound bad, until you read the execution and then you realize it was just awful. The juvenile humor and the heroine acting like a 16 year old high schooler instead of someone in her early 20's getting close to getting her master's degree. Gavin wasn't much better. I skipped the last 2 sex scenes because they had no chemistry at all. I won't be reading anymore of this series.

Amanda is a great story of the bad things that happen to famous people. Brianna is a normal person trying to just make a life. She meets hot man who is a football player & has it all. Life brings them the best & the worst. They almost loose themselves & the most wonderful possibilities. Fame isn't kind of life long but people are!

Loved this book so much I read The entire series one after the other non-stop! Easy read with just enough steam to be interesting and delightful characters. I read every Lauren Landish book I can get my hands on and wait impatiently for the next one to come out!

How are people giving this book 5 stars?! This book was so cheesy.... so cliche'd in parts. But, yes, hot sex scenes and you get the HEA, but still.....could have been done with much better dialogue and writing.

This book was difficult to finish. Only because I hate to leave anything hanging was I able to push through. The characters are very juvenile. She gets mad when he goes to work. Everyone calls him Anaconda despite his hate of the name, even strangers. The heroine even calls him Anaconda despite much being made about how he feels degraded by it. I didn't find it funny as it seemed more like sexual harassment. It's even used in the ending. Everyone misunderstands each other to a ridiculous degree. The hero is unable to do his job once he meets her. Why? No one knows. I guess she is so great for him that he is unable to function without her. Let's not forget she's in school for a Masters so she must have a Bachelors but chooses to work and live as a poor maid. She hates where she lives so much that she stays long hours at the hotel but forget using that degree. All the characters behaved like twelve year olds.Prepare yourself to do a lot of eye rolling.

For me this one was okay. I was into it in the beginning but nothing special really happened. Nothing exciting. She was a little dramatic and insecure so everything was second guessing. It was a little heavy on the sex and a little less in actually getting to know each other. A little thrown off by his random need for some backdoor action like the third time they went out. And her quickness to give into everything. A did like his character though. He seemed genuine and caring. Quick and happy ending.

I felt the repetitive use of Brianna's name in every other sentence was monotonous, it made it more of a chore to get through a chapter. Some positive notes are It was a quick read and the characters were likeable. I haven’t given up yet. I plan to read the next book in this irresistible bachelor series.

I love this series and can't wait until Mr. Fixit is released! Lauren has a way of letting the stories unfold with some emotional turmoil for the characters, but eventually they get their HEA and that makes me happy ?

This book reads like a very inappropriate high school play. I can't figure out why there are so many five star reviews. One of my biggest pet peeves when reading a book is when an author uses a word excessively. I had to keep inserting different words to replace the "as" just so i could finish the book. This is definitely NOT a five star book.

I do not recommend reading this book. Save your money and time. It was a romance about Gavin and Brianna and told in dual POV. I didn't like either of the protagonists and did not see their chemistry or attraction. I was worried about the silly title, but decided to give it a chance since Brianna was a struggling graduate student and Gavin was the well known sports star. I was wrong. I just found Brianna to be silly, childish, and judgemental while Gavin was a showoff and somewhat mean. I couldn't get behind their coupling, even with their hot and steamy intimate moments. I humbly say skip this one.
