This was one of the most beautiful love stories I have read in a long time. The depth of emotion I felt with this story was so amazing. It was really well written and kept me enraptured until the end. I then retread it all again all in one week. Those who rubbish the story and call it just women's porn obviously haven,t read it. I would totally recommend it as an adult read for anyone who loves a love story . Don,t forget you must start with fifty shades of grey. Which is the first book because this is actually one story in three parts .

I loved the first part, and this was a beautiful conclusion. I expected part two to be drawn out longer with Anastasia away from Christian, but I did enjoy the whole story. Not trashy like Mills & Boon.

But a reasonable romance interwoven. One of the reasons I never watch porn is that the story line is a thinly disguised and badly acted means of getting to the sex. This book at least is fairly well written and does provide a continuity between sex scenes that is bearable. I cannot comment on the quality of the sex as I skipped a lot of it. Some of the more explicit wanderings are not my scene and I prefer to leave them to my imagination. I read all three Fifty Shades over a day having finally caved in to popular pressure. I think you have to read all three as the story is left hanging in the first two installments. If you take out the sex, this is a piece of fairly standard romance. Girl meets rich, damaged and incredibly handsome and who falls for her on sight. They then dance around each other, their tale peppered with misunderstandings designed to tug the heartstrings. All good really if you like romance. What moves this book out of the mainstream is the erotica. My three stars mean that I found it reasonably well done, it is not to my taste being about 200 years too modern but I finished the lot. I won't read more of these but that's not because it was awful - simply a personal choice. If you enjoy a romance very heavily laden with lots of different and often kinky sex then buy. If you prefer the romance to be more imaginary and less graphic then you either do what did and skip or leave this out. Finally, do not expect realism. Christian is only 27 when they meet and yet he earns 100k per hour - all self made. He plays piano well, is well read, can fly a helicopter and glider, sail a boat, ski well and who knows what else. It's fantasy so stop complaining if it steps out of believable readers! I doubt anyone reading these books really thinks Ana's meeting Christien and their romance is real life- so why are people panning these on realism. I can understand people's puzzlement at why these are so successful-all I can think is that they managed to find a hidden button. He or she is definitely doing well out of pandering to our imaginations and good luck to her or him!

I am so glad that I found this books. All three of them are very romantic, but desceibing the every day events. They are interesting enough to desire putting myself in Anna's shoes, but also fictional enough to enjoy the plot.
Of course the describtions of the mature moments add the unique spice to it all.

Something about the first one made me want to see how it played out. How it played out was - I lost hours of my life I'll never get back. It's such a shame that 'word of mouth' and 'hype' can make an awful series of books rake in millions. The third of the trilogy really made me see maybe there was some thought behind the infamous Nazi 'book burnings'. The inner goddess thing really is super annoying, as is the overuse of the words 'mecurial' and 'my fifty'. I really can't stress enough how grating it was to see over and over. Please please go read something else. Hunger games is a much better series.

I am not a sex secene book reader, but despite that being in this book and so explicit the story line in this book is Excelent. you have to read fifty shade of grey before you read these series. you will not be desipointed.

Woman with low self esteem locked in the wheel of control tolerates violence to others and denigration of self. Totally the wrong message to young women. As for the torrid sex just so much of it you end up scrolling through the pages to find some semblance of a narrative.

As guilty pleasures go, this was great. And ultimately it's about two flawed people who are dedicated to making their relationship work. In some ways it's a much more realistic portrayal of maintaining love than the books that inspired it.

Having read some of it I must say I'm more than disappointed. The literal quality is on par with Danielle Steele novels etc. The Erotic parts of the books are not very exciting or arousing. Looking for erotic literature? Go look else where if you care for quality and don't like wasting you time

Whilst this may not be literary brilliance, it is well written as it really does let your imagination run wild. Fun easy reading with just enought story in between the erotic scenes to keep you interested in finding out what happens in the end.

I am very happy with my purchase of the 2nd & 3rd books in the Fifty Shades trilogy. i bought them for half of what they cost in the store. Only negative was that it took over 2 weeks to get them.

Most of my friends read the series and all enjoyed it. I found it very entertaining and don't know why people dont like it. It was written understandable as English isnt my home language. Excellent books!

Very sexy, with an extremely gripping and engaging story line. It shows how true love can heal wounds and overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. I highly recommend the trilogy to all women. It's important to read them in order.
