I would reccomend this book to any female from young adult on as it is a totally empowering guide to gaining, maintaining and improving confidence, dignity as well as understanding what true love really is supposed to be like. Revamps the soul from settling for the surface or pretense of it. Intelligent, witty, humorous, relatable and actual.

For any ladies who may be struggling and that could benefit from a reality check, this book was certainly it. I've been telling every Woman I know about this book in hopes that they too will become Spartans!

While it does say that the audiobook is an abridged version, it wasn't until I bought the actual paperback book that I realized that the audiobook only contain the first part of the book. The actual steps of how to date like a Spartan are not contained in the audiobook.
There definitely is some colorful language in the book and a few slang words I was not familiar with, but the information contained in the book is priceless and I highly recommend women of all ages read it and share it with the other women in their lives.
I hope the second half of the book as well as his other books are soon to be released in an unabridged format.

The content of the book is interesting, but I don’t think that it was ever edited before publication. There are spelling errors, confusing sentence structures, misplaced (or absent) commas, and unusual formatting choices. It significantly detracts from the powerful and potentially helpful messages inside.

The message he gives about men is clear and blunt about men and although difficult to take, I think it's accurate and that women should be smart about how they date and dumping a man immediately when signs are clear.

Being that I’ve never been in a serious relationship before, I wanted to get a leg up on the guys and decided to read this after reading other reviews. The advice in this book will help me weed out the time wasters from the genuine.

Grudgingly I voted 5 stars for this book. It really is a slap in the face, but I was able to take it due to the fact that I already suspected I had problems with my selfesteem and selfrespect it didn't come much as a surprise to me because I understood that something in my own game was lacking, I could follow the rules and managed to get a few dates which in the past was almost impossible for me to get any dates at all, but I noticed that I wasnt being genuine with the men and a lot of them got really pissed off and angry at me when they realized that the supposedly Spartan chick happened to be a Basic Chick posing. An unsuspected move or comment that I had not mentally prepared for and I failed misserably because I had no Spartan inside to respond the right way, the way that comes naturally to a person who is genuinely strong.
I understand that the book is written from the point of view of a life coach who is a man but I would have enjoyed a part where he writes what does a Spartan woman do when she still has to deal with rejection. I think anybody who dates actively will once in a while have to deal with situations where they are the ones who get the cold shoulder... of course this happens way less to a Spartan than to a Basic bitch, but if we ground our feet in reality, rejection happens to all of us.

Good: Practical, step by step advice. Being in a field where I deal with ALOT of men, much of it made sense. The author appreciates how complicated modern dating is, but understands at the core men & women should be able to play traditional roles when it suits them.
Bad: Deperately in need of a good editor. Overly simplistic. Horrible writing, too many bad writing clichés, excessive insults and profanity - you can get your point across without calling your reader a "basic b*tch" or "simpleton." Useless paragraphs take forever to make a point, which makes it a tiring read.
