Say No More is written entirely from Halo's point of view. Halo is a herding dog (I think she is an Australian Shepherd).

For me, it was sort of an Incredible Journey story, but there's more to it than that. Halo is not bound by the limitations humans are, so consequently, she can see, hear, and even communicate with ghosts. But there's more to it than that. There's Halo's relationships with the living as well, which are profound and life affirming, but hold on, there's more to it than that. There's Halo's loyalty and love. And the pain she endures, the abandonment, and cruelty.

But there's more to it than that. There's the way Halo deals with her challenges. There's her determination to survive and find those she loves. And her uncanny intelligence.

I won't lie, there's a sad part in here, and it was hard to read. But Halo's story is way more than that.

I absolutely love this book perhaps it's because I love dogs . The beloved character in her story makes me look at my puppies in a different way . Oh yes I love them deeply , but through the story written as if the dog is writing it makes you realize there's a lot more going on inside those fuzzy little heads then we can imagine . I would recommend this book to anyone who loves animals , who looks in their eyes and sees a soul , who cherishes their unconditional love.

I bought this book, directly from the author, last weekend at our local library "Local Author Fair".
I have to say I bought it because I was having a great time meeting the local authors, it wasn't too expensive and it had a dog on the front! I also have to say I was completely hooked on this book two paragraphs in to the prologue.
It is well written, the story flows nicely, suspenseful and satisfying...well worth reading!
It is written from the dog's (Halo) point of view. Halo tells us her life story from puppyhood on, the people she loves, the good times and bad. I can honestly say this is one of the best books I have ever read and would recommend it to anyone. It will make you think twice about how you treat animals and people.

I enjoyed the many different characters. I read this book in 4 days, as I could not put it down. Normally I just read at bedtime, but this one was read every chance I got. The author is a very good story teller, and describes each person or animal with detail. I will look up some of her other writings.

A story about unconditional love, unexpected sorrows that turn life upside down and the way out of it by taking control. I must confess I love dogs and I prefer to be around animals instead of humans and this book is a perfect example why I feel that way. We think we know the people around us, husbands, mothers etc. but we don't. The only person we can trust is our self.

I am an animal lover. This book held my attention so much, I felt like I was sitting on the edge of my chair. I couldn't put the book down. It felt like I was living the story as I read it. I read this book in two sittings. That is how great it is to read.

This rating is deserved by N. Gemini Sasson, by letting the people reading this book experience the cruelty of some people to make a dollar to care for a dog that has not hurt a soul except giving love and waiting for love.

This book was hard to put down. Excellent, exciting and sad all wrapped together as one.

There were some parts of this book that bothered me. I volunteer at an animal shelter and parts of this story reminded me of some of the stories of the residents there. I did, however, read the whole book, and was happy with how it turned out.

I LOVE animals, especially dogs and horses. I lost my own chocolate Lab the end of January. I have been grieving her ever since and the title AND book cover intrigued me. This book gives you the sense of comfort that you need to know. I truly expect to find the dogs and horses I've had over the years to be waiting in heaven. This book has expressed so many thoughts about a dogs life that I couldn't put it down!

This is a book for everyone who loves their dog -- and everyone else, too! It is about the magic that is the unconditional dedication of our four-footed companions. If you don't believe in the magic that is in our dogs you must read this book -- if you know the magic, you will LOVE this book.

To say this was an emotional rollercoaster is an understatement. I love books about animals, dog's in particular. I read Miracle on Wolf Hollow Lane first and loved that book as well. A week after I read it my sister said that she had just read a wonderful book and she asked me to read this book. Seeing life's ups and downs thru the eye's of a dog is brilliant. Thank you so much for allowing me to see things in a whole new light.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, from the beginning to the author’s note at the end. It makes my heart smile. Dogs are amazing creatures that love us like our children do, because that’s the only way they know how.

Thank you for the wonderful story. I really hope the rainbow bridge is just as described in this story. I have so much to tell my heart dogs about when I get there. I intend to read everything this author has to offer. This is my 2nd one, now on to my third. If you love a good read, you won't be disappointed. If you love dogs, you will be hooked.

I really enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would. At the beginning of the book I was not sure the author was going to be able to keep my interest because the story was told. rom the dog's perspective but I was wrong. This was a great story about the relationships we have with our pets.

I really got immersed in this book, which doesn't always happen with a book written by a dog. The good times, the bad times, all were realistically portrayed. Add to that the dog's psychic nature, and I couldn't have asked for more.

Enjoyed the novel, especially having had Australian Shepards myself. Easy read, entertaining and enjoyable. This novel follows the life of halo from birth to death. It is told from the dogs perspective .
