This book is a perfect blend of campaign neutral supplements for both players and DMs. In XGtE, Traps are a large focus, and when combined with item tables and dungeon generation from the DMG allow writers to easily fill out a story mad-libs style with dice rolls. All in all, it's a strong supplement that was well worth the price.

I love this book. Ive used several options presented to me and plan on using several more. To me the options in this book make my characters more interesting. The book itself came in perfect condition do rips or tears. No writing on pages or anything like that. I got it as described

Great resource for customizing characters. Kind of a must companion book for more options, sub-classes and information. Wish this info was included in the Players Handbook. Also, I agree with other reviews that the character names in the back of the book are unnecessary filler. No big deal, and I do think it is a good book for the price. I am happy with my purchase.

The book itself was delivered in perfect condition. The contents are a ton of fun and are a worthwhile addition to the 5e rules and class options. If you are just starting out I would recommend waiting to implement this book until you've become familiar with the core books first.

This is a great resource book for any player looking to boost their game. If you are still unsure, there are plenty of videos on YouTube that give you the gist of most characters.

As an aspiring DM I want to have all info at my disposal and this book gives just that. 10/10

This book is full of excellent new material to enhance your D&D campaigns, making it a solid purchase whether you're a player or DM. I got it specifically for the 25 new subclasses.

That being said, the store didn't ship this as carefully as my other 5E books, and it came damaged. A thin bubble wrap envelope pretty much guarantees a ruined hardcover.

The new subclasses are awesome but not broken, the new racial feats are great, but the best thing overall is that there’s finally a system by which to use tools such as smithing tools! Gone are the days of DMs just randomly deciding whether you succeed or not in making things, there’s finally a real basis for it

Great book that takes a lot of the information from Unearthed Arcana and other sources and compiles it in an official format. Also includes some things I had never before like the new downtime activities and some awesome new spells.

This supplement adds a great deal of depth and flexibility to the already titanic expanse and olympian range of the 5E system. I'm a dungeon master/writer and I love the extra options this gives myself in creating NPC's and my players in crafting and growing their characters. Plus, who doesn't love a beholder with a goldfish obsession.
