Both myself and my 11 year old enjoyed it greatly! Interesting and fast-paced, with a unique take. I would recommend reading it yourself before giving to your child, some themes in the series may be frightening to younger children.

Great book. Both my son and daughter loved the first Candy Shop War. They enjoyed it so much they tried Brandon Mull's Fablehaven Series. Needless to say we now own the entire series. Excellent, exciting, imaginative read.

I got introduced to this wonderful author through the beyonders series (which is one of the best fantasy stories ever told). This series is lighter ajd less dark than the beyonders it is still beautifully written and quite imaginative.

This book was lots of fun. Exciting, funny, and sweet. I really enjoy the characters. Brandon Mull is amazingly creative. If you haven't read his Fablehaven series, it's my favorite. I highly recommend it.
