Ivan (Her Russian Protector #1)

This was a great story, but very quick. I downloaded it for free, so the price was not an issue. I'd love to read the others in the series, but if their just a short and light (not much character development), then I don't think they're worth the $3.99. I don't think the 90 or so pages is worth that much when we only get a superficial look into their lives. I'd be interested in a longer, more developed story about these Russians!

I really enjoyed this book overall. I think my single criticism is that the author bounces from first person to narrator, and I would have like to see the whole book written from the perspective of the narrator because I felt the author could have gone more indepth with the story of Erin. While it was short it was also very exciting. Loved the characters, and everything moved right along with no drag. Great hero and grat love scenes.

Short ,sexy and a hot alpha Russian , what more could a girl ask for. Erins sister is missing and also a junkie, she ask Ivan for help. One thing I liked about this story is , she doesn't argue with him when it comes to him trying to protect her. Erin knows she way out of her depth . They have two gangs after them because her sister and her boyfriend stole from them.

In this book the main characters are Erin and Ivan. Erin is looking for her sister who is a drug junkie. She goes to Ivan and ask him if would help find and he does. Along the way they get together, by the end of the book they know that they belong together and they do.

Wow what a book. I love everything second of this book and I wish there was more pages in this book. It's not fair that the other book like her Russian protector series. I love Ivan and Erin together it was love at first sight . I look forward to reading this book against. I just wish there was more you know. The love making was intense and amazing. I really enjoy reading this book.

This book was awesome!!! I loved everything about this book especially the characters. It was a quick, straight to the point, action, drama, and romance. I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone! This book is a must read!!
I have to go read the next book in this series because I know they're going to be just as amazing as this book was!!!!!!

Erin and Ivan definitely kept things simmering. This was a very action packed quick read that had plenty of steam to keep a reader entertained. I can't wait to read more of this series.

I prefer developed relationships and not instant graphic sex. I can't respect an h who ruins the romantic pursuit by lusting after the H the second time they meet. Have some self respect, Ivan. It's like you're falling for one of the Kardashians.

I really enjoyed the detail in this story. Made it seem like I was watching this story rather than reading it. I'm looking forward to purchasing Ms. Rivera's other books (Russian Protector series). I wish it had included a little more of the sport (MMA/Fighting) element since I am a fan of both boxing and mixed martial arts but hopefully Ms. Rivera reads my review and perhaps develops stories along that line. :) I was very pleased with this story and the characters: it was gritty, it was passionate. I loved how Ivan and Erin, two people with very different background found each other and didn't let go. Very sweet. I now know what I'm going to read first over the 4-day holiday weekend.

I know romance novels are fiction but I like when that fictional story is realistic. This story was too unrealistic. It's not a bad story but I found myself saying "oh comon" a little too much. Everything happened too neatly and quickly. I think the plot could have been developed better.

Great first installment. I started to read In Kelly's Corner and I noticed all these characters being mentioned and I just new that there was a back story to all of them. So I did my home work and found Roxies other books. So I started from the beginning. If you like Kristen Ashely's hot bunch you will definitely love the Russian Protectors

This is an interesting and captivating romance. I enjoyed the read very much. I think the author misses an opportunity to depict women falling in love with realistic mobsters by making them out to be good guy's all looking for a way out. It didn't really distract for the enjoyment of this book because it was the first in the series.

Sometimes you find love in the most unlikely places Erin find her protector when she needed help looking for her sister who got mixed up in so'm e very underhanded things.

I really enjoyed this story which was full of danger and a lot of chemistry between Erin and Ivan I can't wait to read more in this series!!!.

This story would have been more enjoyable if Erin and Ivan have a connection/relationship before they started to get hot and heavy. I was not convinced of their so called love or whatever. The element of danger made the book to be an average read, otherwise it would have been a fluke.

Ivan is awesome ! What a lovable alpha male! Erin is smart and brave enough to know where to get help. The romance and storyline are terrific. Twists and turns, deep feelings, and dynamite chemistry. This is my first Roxie Rivera book, and I can't wait to read more. Highly recommended, ENJOY !

I absolutely loved this book from the beginning it draws you in and doesn't let go till the last page, yes it's short but it doesn't lack in the writing it's a book you can read in a few hours and immediately want to start the next in the series so enjoy like I did definitely a must read and a reread.

The premise was good. Parts of it were promising. The writing felt kind of juvenile, though. The constant switching from first person to third person narration was jarring. I didn't dislike it... more like indifference. I would read the sequels if they were free, but I wouldn't buy them.

How hot and sweet are Erin and Ivan together!!!! I want more of them!!! I'd love to find a man that would everything for me.

I can't wait to read the rest of this series to see how all the Russian men behave!!

i was just testing this book because it was more then one so i started with the first one which is this one to see if i liked it and if i did i wouldnt get confused when i had to go by order it ended up being pretty good her sister gets her in deep crap and here comes her russian to help her.

Loved this book. I knew I would just from reading the preview. I am going to read them all in succession. I am thoroughly in thrall of the big Russian type of characters in these stories and the sex scenes were just enough to get you into the story but not to much. Can't wait to read the rest.

I really found the plot to this story interesting. I love the idea of having a Russian protector and that is exactly what Ivan was. I did sometimes feel the fast intimacy was a little unbelievable. However, it is a book so a little fantasy is bound to make the book more excited and in this case it definitely did. I also enjoyed the fact that finally gave a little tough love to her sister, she was kind of a beotch! Can't wait to read the others!

Great story !!!!! An obvious tough guy with a scary back ground and a cute girl who is scared for her junkie sister's life meet in his gym and you can tell they have an undeniable connection. It was a great little story and a quick read ! Had some steamy parts in it good book all together

I love this story. Usually, shorter stories are disappointing because of their failure to deliver a full story. Ivan was a quick GOOD read. Excellent story, good point... and delicious hotties. Great read. :)

I enjoyed this book as the characters with their loyalty to each other was a seller. The character were easy to follow as I could not wait to see what was on the other page. I enjoyed this book and of course went after the other books by the same author.

Ivan is somewhat of a dicey character, but you will love him anyways! He will go to any length to help Erin find her sister and to keep Erin safe. You learn just enough about this friends to know you will want to read their stories!

I loved this book. Classic knight rescuing a fair maiden. The characters compliments each other. Ivan is the typical bad boy with a soft and tender side waiting to be revealed by the right woman. Can't wait to read Dimitri!

Loooooved this!!! A desperate woman seeks the aid of a man with a notorious reputation only to find out he's more amazing than she ever imagined. An instant, but believable, attraction leads to so much more.

Freaking loved this short story!!!

Good read ,the only thing that bothered me is that it felt a lil rushed but they were defiantly a good match with his Strong,sexy,overprotective Alpha personality and her heart of gold it was a quick sweet romance
