Unless you like books that leave you hanging don't waste your time on this one. The story was ordinary, but okay. We were led along with someone altering reports to get Julia's job. Dmitry knows she didn't send in the report and of course she has the original on her computer. He decides to bring her nemesis to Russia to wreak vengeance on him and the book ends. No, I won't be forced to buy the next book, I won't read more by this author. I'm sorry I wasted my time on this mediocre at best book. Glad it was free.

Knew almost immediately that this book was not worth my time. The first few pages were so shallow. Other readers may see it differently. I just didn't care for the nightclub pick-up scene. I usually know early on whether or not I'm going to like or dislike a book. In some cases I'm not quite sure so I keep reading. I did not keep reading this book. I knew right away that I'd be wasting my time.

Nice easygoing tale of two different cultures meeting and falling in love. I was disappointed that this is yet another cliffhanger. Would love to be able to read the final words of a book and feel that satisfaction of getting a happy ever after without having to buy yet another 'book'.
SERGEI (Her Russian Protector #5) :: Stealing Amy: A Dark Romance (Disciples Book 2) :: Keep (Romanian Mob Chronicles Book 1) :: A Bad Boy Mafia Romance (The Russian Don Book 1) - You Don't Own Me :: Grabbed by Vicious

The book was very good, the story progressed well, then suddenly it was all rushed and it ended. It was like Mrs. North went out for lunch and forgot to finish the book, I was confused and sorely disappointed

Oh boy! What a disappointment!
I bought this book because reading about it sounded like something I'd be interested in. Also the cover looked like it would be a sexy love story. It was on up till the end and it just cuts off! I've read better but the story line and plot was pretty
Good. It pulls you in and then drops you without warning!
I refuse to order the next book. I really don't appreciate being done like this.

Thank goodness this book was free because I would have berated myself fir paying to read this nonsense. Typical boardroom fantasy that was ok when you were a teenager but really not worth the effort to read. Ms.North needs to head to a library and get the entire Elloras Cave collection and read thoroughly, then try to write a book that's worth reading.

Not as exciting or attention grabbing as I thought it would be. After reading the other stories by the author I thought this one would be filled with drama and all kinds of nonsense that kept me wanting to read more. This one was just okay, sort of bland but not bad just kind of boring. Hopefully the next one will be better.

I really get annoyed when writers choose to write about a culture which either is not theirs or they have not bothered to research. I found many generalizations about Russian culture and mistakes in the language that this book was barely tolerable.

I have read so many books where the main characters are either trying to distance themselves from one another, or having to overcome a deceit from one or both causing unfold drama; must of which seemed redundant. This book was the opposite. Yes Julia had met Dimitri at a night club but what had happened was a misunderstanding. Coming to Russia did nothing but amplify their feelings, but for once her putting him off was with good reason. I was surprised by his response to her confession and how story went from there. This books is so good when I finished it I promptly bought the second book in the series, and am looking forward to reading it through. This is one book you definitely don't want to pass up.

Awesome! I loved Demitry and Julia’s story. The chemistry between them was great and I liked that she could hold her own as a strong women in her business world . I loved it and excited about the next book.
